Well I let them go on for another week in the end and I don’t know whether I’m just used to the smell but I definitely have noticed a decline in the loudness of these girls. I’m not ‘flushing’ as much as just giving them water and terpinator for the last couple of weeks to help them fade and finish off. More amber trichomes than I usually have, so these are perfectly ripe I’d say. The additional lights I added to the bottom of the plants definitely worked in maturing the buds but they also made them foxtail and push out pistils and seemed a bit forced. Also needed to account for the extra heat that 3 x small LED strips (approx 25w) so I decided as I wound down the main light to 10.5/13.5 I would turn those off entirely for the last few days. Decided to harvest all the plants together simply because it makes my life easier, believe it or not? Even though the Gorilla Zkittlez could’ve perhaps gone another week even. Oh well. Drying and curing is always an anxious time for me and the aromas are not as pungent as I’d hoped, but let’s hope this bud comes out nice because as this has been a long run due to the cold weather hampering veg early on.

7/5/25 plant is stretching. Not sure if its preflowering or just being outside in a bigger pot. Im just going to let her grow naturally and see how it turns out. I may end up with just one diary of each strain at the moment. But im also not sure whether im going to be doing indoor or outdoor based on personal circumstances.

📆 Week 4, 12-18 May 2024 12 May - Upgraded light to ViparSpectra XS1500Pro. 13-14 May - Observed the plant. 15 May - Plant shows first pistils. 16-18 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 📑 It was time to upgrade my light and it was an easy choice to stay with ViparSpectra. In my opinion, for small tents and the home grower they are the brightest lights available on the market. The only problem with the *2024 new versions are the dimmer switches. They limit how you can adjust the power: 5, 25, 50, 75 and 100% are the only settings, nothing in between. If you are trying to “dial” in your DLI/PPFD it makes it impossible without adjusting light height, which is quite cumbersome comparatively. Your forced to work around an issue which should have never been one! The plant is showing its first pistils this week. This doesn’t mean its in flower. There is no bud formation yet, she is just letting you know she is female. It could be another 2-3 weeks or longer before buds start developing. The addition of big bud from advanced nutrients has packed on some size. I had to add a third round of trellis netting for the blue berry. Almost half way through flower and things are going smooth. I have noticed a little potassium deficiency beginning will remedy this next reservoir change.

They are absolutely beautiful and have a berry/gas nose on it , they are starting to really bulk up. I feel like the big one stoke the light from the other so I’m going to grow #3 again to see if it’s a different Phenotype . Let’s go!!!
