Monday It’s beginning of week 4 and they are doing pretty well. The main stems are hard and strong and it’s impossible to bend them at that point. I am practicing a very light hand LST everyday like I am showing in the video. Tuesday Watering for both of them , you can follow the (simple) process in the videos. Dropped using the Bloom this week to address the tip burn & added more bamboo to support the colas, hope to harvest in a couple weeks I think.

The girls are fill out beautifully green and healthy. Maintaining a clean and controlled environment is key for a healthy grow so I clean my grow area once a week with peroxide. Also doing some extra preventative maintenance for pest twice a week. Stay tuned and thanks for following

Cool wet week, crazy storm just dumped 30mm of rain in a day, really really wet. She seemed to handle it well, all dried out now, no loss so far. Next few weeks sunny warm and dry, thank you mother nature. Last top dress 30tbsp GG, PB/AP 70/30, will still do weekly kelp and monster maxx, but drop silica and molasses. Buds are getting frosty, should start packing weight the next few weeks, pistils are just barely starting to brown, so 2-3 weeks easy. Most of it will get snipped and straight to the freezer for bubble hash, so I'm looking for quantity of smaller buds not mass, and she's delivering! Keeping up with BT, found 3 leaves just laden with moth eggs, glad I caught them in time!

Mexican Airlines is starting to fatten up nicely. I'm still quite impressed by the amount of great looking bud sites. Also, the dominant cola seems to be coming from what would have been the lowest branch if she was not bent over. Very interesting, to me at least. Feeding her with Recharge and Big Bloom, she seems to like it. 👍

Signs of swelling, & smell is picking up. Lots of nice-looking colas between these 3 gals. -Need to start bringing up my defoliations / canopy a little bit. So today’s the day I did my first weed harvest. Never thought I could feel such emotions over a plant but I’ve spent a lot of time with her over the last few months. Hopefully I’ve done her proud. I planned on doing a dry trim so I took off all the bigger fan leaves to start. I noticed a lot of the fan leaves had some trichs around the base so I kept these. I don’t know if you would class them as sugar leaves but I am going to try and make some tea from them. In my drying cabinet the average rh% is about 75 so I’m running a small dehumidifier which is bringing it down to about 65% which I think is a bit above the ideal. It’s been hot today and temp in cabinet is around 25 degrees C but due to be cooler from tomorrow. Anyway I’m off for a cup of tea, I will update with effects and dry weights over the next few days. Update** So eddy 2 has been drying for 8 days, and she’s now trimmed and in jars. To be honest I found her a pain in the ass to trim there was a lot of long spindly buds (I would say airy) so the trim pile is pretty big with a mix of sugar leaves and airy buds. It’s not a problem as I’m definitely going to make some edibles so it’s all good for that. I’m still really pleased with the amount I got off of her and if her sister produces the same I will be over the moon! Eddy 2 weights (harvest day 82) Wet - 623g Dry Buds - bang on 100g Dry trim - 51g Eddy 1 weights (harvested day 97) Wet - 496g Smoke Report; Full disclosure I haven’t smoked weed for 20 years and even when I did it was only now and again at parties. I also don’t smoke. I’ve had anxiety and depression since I was a kid and I’ve been on all sorts of pills to try and help it. After doing some research on CBD and THC I thought I would give it a go! I’m also looking to cut down my alcohol intake and I’m really hoping this is a new way to relax and get that buzz on a Friday/Saturday night. I don’t want to smoke it so I’m going to get a dry herb vape I’m just waiting for it to be delivered. So here goes: The tea was a bust! Well unless you like lemony butter water. I don’t think there was anywhere near enough of the good stuff as I didn’t feel a thing. Still no vape so I bought a cheap bong. FML I think I coughed up a lung 😂😂 definitely got a buzz but I couldn’t enjoy it as my fucking throat was on fire for hours! STILL no vape so I made one. And that’s more like it. Tasty cool vapour and a nice relaxing buzz after. I didn’t have too much (about 3 hits) as I know I’m a lightweight. For the first 30 minutes or so I was light headed and happy (like after your first couple beers after a long day). Then I felt my body physically relaxing and I just chilled on the sofa for a couple hours watching tv. I went straight to sleep when I got to bed (which never happens) and I had a great nights sleep. Only downside was a headache in the morning but could put that down to many things and it was gone after a coffee

I haven’t had the time yet to give them a perfect final trim, but I’ll try to pick out the best ones and share a few pics here soon. Another stellar week here. Not much to note this week since there wasn't any lollipopping or much defoliation. Girl is now on auto pilot. Just watering every couple days. This OGgelato is a champ! Not the heaviest producer, but its been a real pleasure and was easy to grow. No matter what nutrients I throw at her, or aggressive pruning, she bounces right back. This week I found bud rot on one of my other plants in the greenhouse but this plant has so far been resistant and is healthy. I thinned the canopy and defoliated out quite a bit to create more air flow. I now have fans on 24/7 and sprayed with a mycorrizhal fungicide that suppresses botrytis. Also this week I have stopped pulling the tarp on and off each night (for total darkness) because it seemed to trap in too much humidity at night. The humidity outside has been 80-90% for over a week! And the rain was so heavy all last week. This week is slightly warmer with less rain so hoping we can make it. The trichomes are starting to get milky. I imagine I have 1-2 weeks left but am not sure. This has been a pleasurable experience for sure, but this is stressful right now! The smell is so strong you can smell it on my block. You can see *everything* from the alleyway adjacent to the greenhouse. I'm worried about mold and thiefs and can not wait for this to be dried and in jars!
