MO_PureLeaf I accidentally deleted the photos.. Tomorrow, on 9.3, the first photos of the filled pot will come. 🌱
Edit1: As promised, the first photos are now uploaded :) I'm looking forward to it, last time the Sweetseeds genetics reacted well for us :) I changed my soil to Plagron Lightmix and later on, Plagron Growmix will go into a 20L pot.
Edit2: On 11.3, we placed a new seed to germinate, the first seed we had in the soil didn't do anything anymore 🤷🏻♂️ well, that can happen :) so far, still a top germination rate of 95%, the remaining 6 grows have exclusively run or are running with Swee(d)t seeds 😅🤦🏻♂️ But well, here’s to a new one and it only took 2 days with cotton pads :) I'll keep you updated.
Edit3: We were already able to transplant last night (14.03) 😅 the seed was just 15 hours in the soil, didn't even get much light, and still, it's growing super strong!
Edit: For the past two days, it's been stretching upwards 😅 we've now set the light to a higher percentage and according to the app, it's at 300mol, let's see if it keeps stretching.
Temp & PPFD
PPFD Meter App:
PPFD should now be between 130 and 150.

SS - This is a feminized, ultra-fast flowering and photoperiod-dependent strain that produces stunning red flowers. It is also a first filial generation (F1) from the cross between an elite photoperiod-dependent clone of the famous Californian strain Sunset Sherbet and a selected autoflowering genetic line of Strawberry Cola Auto. Strawberry Cola Sherbet F1 Fast Version (SWS106) is an indica/sativa polyhybrid, leaning toward the indica side. The plants produce large, dense buds covered with lots of highly aromatic resin.
This strain has a very pleasant, potent, and complex aroma, with shades of red fruits and cola, earthy and woody hints, and fresh, citrus undertones.
It has a happy, relaxing effect that stimulates reflective introspection, concentration, and insight.
SS - The outstanding quality of Strawberry Cola Sherbet F1 Fast Version has been internationally recognized. In 2024 it won 2nd Prize for Hash at the II German Hash League Cup (Mannheim, Germany).

MO_PureLeaf Ok, I missed updating the diary for this one 😅 please forgive me 🙏🏻🙏🏻 but just like with every other plant now... it's time to wait and just provide a good environment, there's not much to report yet :)
MO_PureLeaf We just tried something really weird 😅😂 since I couldn't get any fertilizer at my grow shop and usually buy that kind of stuff "undercover," I went in with mineral thoughts and came out with biological ones: Plagron Alga Grow and Bloom 😅 who knows what will happen. Well, I've repotted the plants for flowering now. Just waiting to see when the pre-flowering comes.

MO_PureLeaf In week 6 to 7, a lot has happened, she is beautifully developing her buds. So far, the plant looks healthy with a nice deep green, and the shoots have stretched well, with a fine node spacing for magnificent flowers to develop. By the way, it was the same last time; the SBC needs tons of water and phosphorus. The plant is depleting the soil of nutrients, which is why I’m now adding Sugar Royal with 1ml/L to support the resin production that’s starting. The plant has also grown the most dominantly and isn’t shy about taking the light away from the others through topping. The stem, the growth, and the rapid development of the flowers are really nice to see
May 26 Edit: We’ve also added Green Sensation (1ml/l). Thanks to the great summer, it’s around 31-32 degrees in the tent, but that doesn’t bother her at all. Except the plants are really drinking a lot -
5L in 1/5 days - in a 20L fabric pot 🙈 That’s a great sign that she’s doing well and needs a lot of nutrients!

MO_PureLeaf The 4BW with the Strawberry is great, the strain sucks up so much water I can barely keep up. The outside temperature has been 31-32 degrees and the plant is still very stable and eager to develop flowers. The Strawberry is also the furthest along of all three :) the smell of the plant is unbeatable, it reminds me of a fruity fruit bowl! When you get closer with your nose or run your finger over the trichomes, you can really smell the strawberry. This genetic will definitely be one of my favorites.

MO_PureLeaf 4/5BW.
Everything is going according to plan! The first hairs are turning orange/brown, the smell is getting stronger in the tent, and the plant is getting closer to its end :) The Strawberry Cola Sherbet is definitely one of my favorites. The pH value is good, the soil is very well-rooted, with the SBCS I have to water the 20L pot every 1/5-2 days, I even have to because the soil dries out completely 🙈. I'm going away for the weekend now.. I hope the plant doesn't die on me 🙏🏻🙏🏻
We've also added the full range of nutrients. 4ml/L Alga Bloom - 1ml/L Sugar Royal and also 1ml/L Green Sensation, all products are from Plagron ?🏻

MO_PureLeaf Hey, unfortunately, I have to take the plant out in week 6/7 of flowering already.. the plant has produced pollen due to too much stress.. well, I just hope there are no microseeds in there now.. I still can't explain where the stress factor came from, because the other two plants show no signs of it.. it might have something to do with the temperature since I'm growing in the attic, and it's not always possible for me to correct that… acts of God and all that… but still, the plant performed well, and it won't be due to the genetics but was somewhere my fault during flowering. Unfortunately, we'll never find out what caused it :) but the other two are doing well.
We got to grow the strawberry Cola Sherbet from Sweet Seeds for the first time, and I have to say that not everything went smoothly, but let's get started. Germination was super easy; I just took two paper towels, wet them, and waited - it only took 3 nights. We waited until the second week of veg to top it - the strain took that really well, just like the LST afterwards. The training really suited the plant, and the SBCS also pushed out a lot of shoots. Accordingly, we had to do a lot of defoliation with the plant. We waited until the 5th week of veg for the switch to 12/12, and then it went really fast; the stretch was manageable with LST, which allowed even smaller shoots to grow steadily, and the flowering was nice to watch, with the smell getting more intense and increasingly fruity, it smelled really great - but unfortunately, it only made it to the 5th week of bloom. We don't know why, but the plant wanted to self-pollinate... and before that happened and ruined the whole harvest, we had to chop it down.
But anyway, for now, the Strawberry is hanging at 22 degrees and 55-60% RH, and I still need to estimate the gram count since I weigh it dry, not wet. I will write something about the smoking behavior later.
Edit: 1 week later, we were able to test the strawberry; the munchies hit hard, definitely going to need a bag of chips 😂. The flavor carries through the whole joint; it's a berry taste with a sweet earthy note. Soon it will be trimmed and packed into jars, should be around 60-70 pieces. Approximately. Thanks, Sweet Seeds, for this awesome strain! ️

MO_PureLeaf It went okay. Everything is described above.
