The plant is showing signs of being completely ready and I decided to test the Myth of putting the plan 48 hours in darkness one plant I decided to chop it down right away the other one I will put it in 48 hours of darkness and I'm going to see if there is any true difference in flavour and taste or Racine since both plans are clones they should be identical in end so any true difference between them will show If there is any truth to the myth or put it down as a false. Despite being lots of mistakes along the way and suffering a lot from many different issues the plant has grown nicely in the garden and it has thrive in the Canadian environment. I will update later on when the plans are completely dry and I cut it for for the curing process and also for check out how heavy they are thank you for reading have a happy grow. After three weeks in curing process there is no true difference between both of them neither a bag of peel but unfortunately the one that I cut first retain more flavor and smell typical of the plant rather than the one that was left 48 hours in darkness the only thing I have not test is for rosin production because my machine have not arrived yet other than that the one that I not allowed any dark. Has better high better flavour and better smell than the other one this doesn’t mean that the 48 hrs. Doesn’t have any validation this only proves that in my garden I have no practical application for this technique . Thank you for reading have a happy grow

Starting of week 3 of flower. The plants look really healthy, no problems yet. FD17: the plants still show no damage from the hard lolipopping. FD18: gave them water today (30litre 7plansts) with biobizz, looking good so far. FD19: First trichomes, start to smell FD20: Smell gets stronger, buds starting to get bigger

These girls are throwing some gigantic buds already! I'm very excited for this run of strawberry banana. There is already some trichomes building up as well. I had to use a little neem oil to control mildew on mostly the right plant as the left one had hardly any. I'm very pleased with the size shape & overall vigor with these ladies. Check back next week to see just how fast she buds! And dont forget its 4:20 somewhere!!!!!

Hey guys! Another update! 💪 I bought a Cal-Max from Grotek 👌 From the photos I shared it seems Matcha and Pistachio are suffering from some Magnesium deficiency (I hope that's the issue 😰) and this should help with the issue. I foliar spayed both of my babies and then I added the recommended dosage to all the waterings I made during the week. Gladly the first changes were clear after 48 hours of spraying them and I'll probably see the rest of the changes next week (or the week after) 😱 Besides that Matcha is still super small compared to Pistachio and I wonder what might be the issue. Maybe I'm watering her a bit too much or the heat is too high and it's not letting her take the proper nutrients? Maybe her roots are still small (for some reason I think this might be the main issue) or the damage she suffered from the lack of magnesium was way too severe and can't be fixed? No idea but she seems to be recovering so I'll let her continue that way for a bit more (and let her grow some more roots) before switching into flower. Oh! And I switched places between her and Pistachio, in case the lights were a bit too strong for my baby! As for Pistachio, she's growing strong so I suspect she'll be a huge plant during the stretch phase 😃(you can only dream). She's also showing some chlorosis but absolutely nothing compared to Matcha. I also defoliated both of my plants, they were getting bushy and I want all the "new" colas to receive as much light as poooooosible! Anyway, that's all for now. 🍏🍌 Apples and Bananas – Harvest Update Two beautiful, healthy plants with very dense, chunky buds. I did run into some bud rot, but humidity wasn’t extremely high — it stayed around 60%. Most likely the issue came from insufficient air exchange, combined with how tight and compact the buds were. This has already been fixed with a ventilation upgrade, so the next run will have proper airflow. 🔥 Effects A very pleasant smoke overall. For me, this is a perfect afternoon/early evening strain. You come back from work, take a shower, relax on the couch, roll an Apples and Bananas… and everything just flows. It can easily pull you into a long gaming session — it takes you along for the ride. 😋 Flavour & Aroma I didn’t get a strong aroma from these phenos. Flavor-wise, one pheno gives some sweet touches, while the other has a slightly green/unripe note. Still, I can definitely imagine what this strain can become if you hit the right phenotype — there’s something promising underneath. This week was good, Did the transplant from 7.5L/2Gal to 28L/7Gal, Stared to do some LST but the main stem broke on two "blue and Red" of the three plants. Kinda sucks but a bit to aggressive, on the third plant "yellow" I also used LST just not as strong and got the shape and placement I was looking for. Will have to wait for the others to heal and then I can try again. IDK how long it will take, but I'll give it a full week. Sucks as the tips will be getting more light then the others. I also ran out of soil so had to make up a half batch as well to top off the pots, got about 8L leftover for transplanting the peppers and what not, tents so full I had to remove the clones and one smaller plant. They are growing in a window now. The extras where Gaia Green All Purpose 4-4-4, Gaia Green Power Bloom 2-8-4, Gaia Green Insect Frass 3-2-4, Gaia Green Seaweed Extract 0-0-17, Bokashi Grains, Epsom Salts, Yeast Powder, Fluvic Acids, Enzymes, Silicon and Multiple Microbes. PH adjusted really low as the amendments have a lot of rock dusts and such, wanted them to be broken down by the time the roots reach em. Watered in with 4L on each container, Should be ok for the first few days, will need to judge how they are doing in a bit and see if their roots are colonizing the new area. no idea how the clones will do outside the tent, Still have them in a plastic bag till I can see roots in the containers they are in. Checking about once a week. My goal is to veg this out for another 3-4 weeks and top it one last time they switch to bloom with a SROG net, should have good coverage and lots of cola sites per plant. Growing very beautifuly and as intented. I changed the nutrition line to a brand where you feed it Once a week, and rest of the time use Phd Water. Im also adding a secret bloom booster! (Hint: It makes the water purple) More pictures from Week 12 are incoming. I have been busy harvesting my first plant ever(Cream Caramel in my diary) To avoid Caterpillar(Larvae) damage, I remove any fan leaves that has Damage, a larvae or larvae poop/eggs on it(black dots). Fortunally this plant has been much better than my previous one, I used Neem Oil treatment and it seems to work better, also I have fresh Peppermint, Lavender among other plants now in the garden that helps against different kinds of outdoor damage. As a precaution I am massively defoliating the plant, and on my other photoperiod plant, as an experiment I decided to remove big fan leaves of some of main bud sites, the ones I removed fan leaves on, had denser and bigger buds when harvesting. I also tried doing it 50/50 experiment on the plant last week of bloom, and even there I could see a difference in harvest weight. So I might continue with this, depending on how future harvests go. ✌️🏽💚
