Water week 6/1

Cherry Limeade von Doja – Wochenupdate 🌱 Die Entwicklung der Buds schreitet weiterhin sehr gut voran 🌸. Sie legen sichtbar an Masse zu und insgesamt entwickelt sich die Cherry Limeade genau so, wie ich es mir zu diesem Zeitpunkt der Blüte wünsche. Auch beim Geruch hat sich wieder einiges getan 👃. Das zuvor sehr spritzige Limettenaroma ist mittlerweile etwas schwächer geworden. Dafür entwickelt sich das Terpenprofil zunehmend in eine angenehme Zitrusrichtung mit etwas Süße und Cremigkeit 🍋‍🍦. Genau diese Entwicklung gefällt mir sehr gut. Das erhoffte Kirscharoma ist allerdings leider weiterhin überhaupt nicht wahrnehmbar 🍒. Ich hoffe zwar immer noch, dass sich hier gegen Ende der Blüte noch etwas tut, langsam habe ich aber Zweifel, ob die Cherry Limeade tatsächlich noch in diese Richtung geht. Beim Tensiometer habe ich inzwischen einen weiteren Versuch nach den Angaben des Herstellers durchgeführt. Leider zeigt es auch diesmal nach einigen Tagen wieder deutlich trockenere Werte an, als ich aufgrund des tatsächlichen Zustands des Substrats erwarten würde 🤔. Ich habe inzwischen allerdings einen Verdacht, woran es liegen könnte. Mein Substrat enthält einen gewissen Kokosanteil, der bei der Herstellung der Suspension stark aufquillt. Wenn ich diese Suspension wie vorgesehen in das Loch einfülle und anschließend die Keramiksonde einsetze, scheint sich das Substrat beim anschließenden Rücktrocknen wieder etwas zusammenzuziehen. Dadurch könnte der direkte Kontakt zwischen Keramiksonde und Substrat schlechter werden und das Tensiometer anschließend zu trockene Werte anzeigen. Diese Woche werde ich deshalb noch einen letzten Versuch mit einer entsprechenden Anpassung durchführen 🔧. Danach werde ich das Thema für diesen Grow aber auch erst einmal abhaken. Ich kontrolliere den Wasserverbrauch der Pflanze ohnehin relativ regelmäßig und habe dadurch einen zusätzlichen praktischen Anhaltspunkt 💧. Aktuell liegt der Verbrauch bei etwa 1,8 Litern pro Tag, was für die Größe der Pflanze weiterhin sehr plausibel erscheint. Ab heute erhöhe ich den Ziel-VPD noch einmal leicht von 1,3 auf 1,4 kPa 📈. Ansonsten läuft der Grow inzwischen praktisch vollständig auf Autopilot 🤖. Alle drei bis vier Tage fülle ich den Wassertank wieder auf – viel mehr gibt es momentan nicht zu tun. Genau so soll es sein: Die Pflanze macht ihr Ding und ich versuche, möglichst wenig daran herumzuschrauben 😎🌱. 📊 Aktuelle Parameter: 💡 Licht: 900 PPFD / DLI 39 (12/12, Stufe 6, 40 cm Abstand) 🌡️ Temperatur: 28 °C 💧 Luftfeuchtigkeit: 61 % 📈 VPD: 1,3 kPa → 1,4 kPa 🌿 CO₂: Ø 740 ppm 💦 Wasserverbrauch: ca. 1,8 l/Tag Cherry Limeade – Weekly Update 🌱 The buds are continuing to develop very well 🌸. They are visibly putting on more weight, and overall the Cherry Limeade is progressing exactly as I would hope at this stage of flower. The aroma has also changed quite a bit 👃. The very zesty lime aroma that dominated before has become a little less pronounced. In return, the terpene profile is developing more towards a pleasant citrus aroma with some sweetness and creaminess 🍋‍🍦. I really like this direction. Unfortunately, there is still absolutely no sign of the cherry aroma I was hoping for 🍒. I’m still hoping it might show up towards the end of flower, but I’m slowly starting to doubt whether this Cherry Limeade will actually develop much cherry character. I made another attempt with the tensiometer this week, once again following the manufacturer’s instructions. Unfortunately, after a few days it is again showing noticeably drier values than I would expect based on the actual condition of the substrate 🤔. However, I now have a theory about what might be causing it. My substrate contains some coco, which expands quite strongly when making the suspension. When I fill the suspension into the hole as recommended and then insert the ceramic probe, the substrate seems to shrink slightly again as it dries back. This could result in the ceramic probe losing some of its direct contact with the surrounding substrate, causing the tensiometer to indicate conditions that are actually drier than they really are. I’ll therefore make one final attempt this week, with a slight adjustment to the installation 🔧. After that, I’ll probably leave the issue alone for the rest of this grow. I regularly monitor the plant’s actual water consumption anyway, which gives me another useful practical reference point 💧. At the moment, the plant is using around 1.8 liters per day, which still seems very realistic for a plant of this size. Starting today, I’m also increasing the target VPD slightly from 1.3 to 1.4 kPa 📈. Apart from that, the grow is basically running on autopilot 🤖. Every three to four days I refill the water reservoir, and that’s pretty much all there is to do at the moment. Rocko’s Runtz Rumble – Tag 63 Blütewoche 2 – Der Stretch trudelt aus! Die zweite Blütewoche ist geschafft und unsere drei Kandidatinnen haben noch einmal ordentlich an Höhe zugelegt. Zum Glück scheint sich der Stretch gegen Ende der Woche langsam zu beruhigen – und darüber bin ich ehrlich gesagt auch ziemlich froh. 😅 Der Stretch Melonade Runtz ist von 85 cm auf etwa 105–108 cm gewachsen. Ihre langen Internodien und ihre offene Struktur werden immer deutlicher. Sie bleibt weiterhin unsere empfindlichste Kandidatin und einige der oberen Triebe zeigen leichten Lichtstress. Kein Wunder, denn der Abstand zu den Lampen ist inzwischen verdammt knapp geworden. Pink Banana Runtz ist von 70 cm auf etwa 90–96 cm gewachsen. Sie bleibt damit weiterhin die kompakteste und buschigste unserer drei Kandidatinnen und zeigt deutlich kürzere Internodien. Besonders auffällig ist inzwischen ihr Abendrhythmus: Pinky zeigt von allen drei am deutlichsten, wann sie Feierabend haben möchte. Gegen Ende der Lichtphase lässt sie ihre Blätter gerne schon deutlich absinken, während Melonade und vor allem Blue Zushi teilweise noch richtig steil dastehen. 😴 Offenbar hat hier jede Kandidatin ihre ganz eigene innere Uhr. Blue Zushi ist von 90 cm auf etwa 113 cm gewachsen und hat damit inzwischen die Führung bei der Höhe übernommen. Unsere Wildcard entwickelt sich weiterhin kräftig und vital und macht ihrem bisherigen Ruf als kleines Monster alle Ehre. Bei allen drei Damen sind die ersten Blüten inzwischen deutlich zu erkennen. Zum Glück scheint der Stretch gegen Ende der zweiten Blütewoche endlich langsam auszutrudeln. Die täglichen Höhenzuwächse werden geringer und das Wachstum verlagert sich zunehmend in Richtung Blütenbildung. Darüber bin ich wirklich froh, denn nach oben ist mittlerweile kaum noch Luft. Um überhaupt noch die letzten verfügbaren Zentimeter aus dem Zelt herauszuquetschen, musste sogar der Aktivkohlefilter nach draußen umziehen. 😅 Jetzt dürfen die drei ihre Energie wirklich gerne in die Blüten stecken. Düngung und Pflege Die Grundversorgung läuft weiterhin hauptsächlich über die BioTabs im Substrat. Deshalb bleiben wir mit zusätzlicher Düngung nach wie vor eher zurückhaltend. Mit dem langsam auslaufenden Stretch und der zunehmenden Blütenbildung verschiebt sich der Fokus jetzt darauf, die Pflanzen gesund und gleichmäßig versorgt durch die kommenden Blütewochen zu bringen. Gesundheit und Schädlingskontrolle Insgesamt machen alle drei Kandidatinnen weiterhin einen gesunden und vitalen Eindruck. Ganz los sind wir unsere ungebetenen Gäste allerdings noch nicht. 😅 Die Thripse zeigen sich wieder, deshalb läuft unser Nützlingsprogramm weiter und die Situation wird genau beobachtet. Melonade bleibt insgesamt die empfindlichste der drei und reagiert insbesondere auf die hohe Lichtintensität. Pinky steckt das Ganze bislang deutlich gelassener weg, während Blue Zushi weiterhin sehr robust wirkt. Beleuchtung Unser kleines Experiment mit 730 nm Far-Red geht weiter. Mittlerweile läuft Far-Red allerdings nur noch für etwa 15 Minuten als End-of-Day-Behandlung am Ende der Lichtphase. Zusätzlich ist jetzt 660 nm Deep Red dazugekommen und läuft für ein paar Stunden in der Mitte der Lichtphase. Fazit Blütewoche 2 hat die Unterschiede zwischen unseren drei Kandidatinnen noch deutlicher gemacht. Melonade überrascht weiterhin mit ihrem starken Stretch und ihrer offenen Struktur, Pinky bleibt unser kompakter kleiner Busch – und zeigt abends von allen am deutlichsten, wann für sie Feierabend ist – und Wildcard Blue Zushi hat inzwischen die Führung bei der Höhe übernommen. Am meisten freut mich aber, dass der Stretch jetzt endlich langsam auszutrudeln scheint. Nachdem wir selbst den Aktivkohlefilter aus dem Zelt werfen mussten, um noch die letzten Zentimeter herauszuquetschen, darf es nach oben jetzt wirklich gerne etwas ruhiger werden. 😅 Die ersten Blüten sind da – jetzt kann die eigentliche Show beginnen. this cycle will be godzilla glue#4 and sunset sherbet, both females. and although you see 2 sunset sherbets in the video, 1 of them was later transplanted for outdoor, which is in my other post. the GG4 was germinated 1 month AFTER the SS. i will be feeding with BluePlanet FarmersPride organic 3-part high yield system 24 hrs in 5.5ph water and then directly into grow plug they go. 👍

i did a light defoliation on fan leaves to free up some bud sites i have only been doing this for some 8months or so but it feels like second nature but i am surprised how my first batch came out but anyways theses are the clones off of my first photoperiods so i feel like im getting shit done lmao but anyways these will stay in veg until there mothers finish with flowers i did a light water today with 5ml of cal-mag and 2ml of fox farm root drench and 2ml of microbe brew im still trying to figure it out not sure when to kick them into flower trying to make this a Perpetual Grow ya digg!!!

Couple plants at doffeent weeks here's a quick tour of the tent

I was flushing all the plants since August 9. You can see in the videos with de microscope ( I really try my best, but it was pretty difficult) the trichomes looks cloudy and some of them looks amber. Maybe in the videos you can't see it because my hand was really shaky. August 17: all the plants were in dark. August 18: i cleaned all the plants, buds, leafs, everything..., spraying water to remove the rests of potasic soap. Today august 18, during the nigth, i'm going to harvest all the ladies. In the past 3 days i didn't watering the plants and the smell was stronger. August 19: Before dry -Critical Kush: 150g -Red dwarf: 60g -Syrup (2 plants): 270g -Lemon (4 plants): 570g

Growing very well, nice colas cover in white, almost finishing 2 week with beastie blumz, starting to create huge looking nugs, really excited about the finish result.

day 42 images are in last week, I can not count XD. bridal is stacking a lot of weight and is constantly shifting/leaning every morning, good things. I would chop any day but I will wait it out. water, tiny bit of humic and folvic to reduce chloromine, chlorine- air stones day 45 took a few nugs off on day 42, dried for 3 days. Tried bridal and blackberry. As a heavy recreational, thc is up there! bridal felt like having a blindfold over your eyes somewhat sativa uplift but heavy weight feelings. Very good. Lasted as good as 30%'s. Dr. Thunder was also very nice, nug was smaller so mixed with blackberry to have a small j. Also feels very good indica. Both trials were chopped on week 6 day 1. Very pleased with the results. I was worried bridal was more sativa; which charasteristica I am not looking for. So I believe this is a very good heavy hitter run with 4 plants. I can chop any day, but I am waiting for pink paradise to finish seeds. day45 took top nugs from bridal party, blackberry oreo bigstuff and dr. thunder. No touching pink paradise!! day 46 can chop anytime just waiting on pink paradise seeds to finish, bridal party leaning more day 47 bridal leaning hard from weight. day 48 stacking, day 48 video

Everything bounced back to normal. These smoothies want a bit of nitrogen throughout veg. 90% of the time when I have an issue it’s because PH or PPM being too high. This wasn’t the case as I ran two tests on my medium and everything was fine. Once i fed them twice with some higher nitrogen levels and some kelp n algae they bounced back in a week. After the first feeding I could notice a nice green coming back into the leaves. I have not flushed once since then. I’ve been feeding a tea every two weeks instead to break up whatever’s left behind. I plan to do one more feed in a couple days and I’m gonna do a light flush with SLF and then continue feeding nutes and teas until she’s ready to be flushed towards harvest.

Just keep watering as it drys. Supporting buds along the way that are getting too heavy. Smells like skunk and gas. Little fruit but not much. Trics still getting thick. Look forward to it finishing. Tricomes still cloudy. Little amber on sugar leaves but it's still going strong. Some leave fading finally to fall colors.
