9/2/25 Overall I'm delighted with these. 17 weeks grows for me are few & far between. These 2 phenos had 7 weeks in 2L pots. And were put into a 20L pot of coco/pebbles and gives 10-14 days to recover and were flipped. I purposely grew them this shape as I had to make sure I kept them apart if hit with WPM or anything like that. As grows these long, buds this dense. And running a tent with a bunch of mixed grows from done to days into the start of the 12-12 flip. I would have liked to run for another week on a 100w light and high doses of UV but because of such a mixed bag of grows in my tents. Running reds/uv just wasn't even attempted. 10/2 She smells absolutely amazing, buds are super big, sticky & very smelly. They're still mainly hard for the moment. And leaves not even limp. So, I removed the big fan leaves to allow air to move around better. They're hanging behind my 100cm2 tent kept out of UV rays.

🌱 Folder 09 | Candy Rain Auto Week 1 – Finding Her Rhythm Welcome to the first chapter of Candy Rain Auto in the 8×8 Adventure. Unlike many of her neighbors, Candy Rain didn’t have the easiest start. She entered the room a few days later than the rest of the project, immediately placing herself at a slight disadvantage on paper. But plants don’t read calendars, and every phenotype writes its own story. The purpose of the 8×8 Adventure has always been exactly this: documenting every individual plant honestly, allowing each genetic to express itself naturally under identical conditions. There are no races here. Every plant is given the same opportunity to demonstrate what it is capable of. Already during this first week, Candy Rain is proving that patience is often rewarded. While initially producing only simple juvenile leaves, she quickly transitioned into healthy three-finger leaves, with each new set arriving larger, wider and noticeably more vigorous than the last. The journey has only just begun. ⸻ 🌿 Grow Environment The entire room remains carefully controlled to provide every cultivar with the same stable environment. Environmental Conditions * 🌡️ Day Temperature: 27°C * 🌙 Night Temperature: 25°C * 💧 Relative Humidity: 55% * 🌱 Substrate Temperature: 21°C * 💦 Nutrient Solution Temperature: 20°C * ⚡ EC: 1.3 * pH: 6.0 * 💨 CO₂: 666 ppm * 💡 Light Cycle: 12 / 12 From Seed * ? Pot Size: 15 Litres Because Candy Rain emerged slightly later than the rest of the room, irrigation has been adjusted specifically to her needs. Rather than following the volume given to the larger plants, watering remains concentrated around the young root zone, encouraging the roots to actively search through the substrate while avoiding unnecessary saturation. ⸻ 🌿 Nutrition Candy Rain is receiving exactly the same Plagron Terra program as the rest of the garden, simply scaled appropriately for her stage of development. Feeding Schedule * Terra Grow — 1.8 ml/L * Power Roots — 1 ml/L * Pure Zym — 1 ml/L * Sugar Royal — 1 ml/L * pH Plus — adjusted when necessary * Lemon Kick — adjusted when necessary The objective during these first weeks isn’t rapid top growth—it’s establishing a healthy root system capable of supporting explosive development once flowering begins. A strong foundation always pays dividends later. ⸻ 🌱 Plant Development Watching this week’s progression has been incredibly satisfying. The earliest photographs show a delicate young seedling still carrying its juvenile characteristics. By the end of the week, however, the transformation is obvious. The stem has thickened considerably. Leaf spacing has become more symmetrical. The newest growth appears increasingly vigorous. Most encouraging of all is the transition into beautifully formed three-finger leaves, signalling that the plant has fully entered active vegetative development. Each new node displays noticeably more energy than the previous one, suggesting that the initial establishment period is already behind her. Despite being the smallest plant in the room, she doesn’t appear weak. Quite the opposite—she appears determined. ⸻ 📸 Behind This Week’s Photos Sometimes the smallest plants create the most rewarding photographs. The early overhead images capture a tiny seedling standing almost alone within a large container, emphasizing just how much potential still lies beneath the surface. As the week progresses, every photograph tells a different story. The side profiles reveal a stem becoming stronger each day, while the overhead shots beautifully document the increasing symmetry of the canopy. One of my favorite moments is seeing those first fully developed three-finger leaves spreading confidently across the frame. They’re small, but perfectly formed, and they represent the moment where Candy Rain truly begins her journey. Macro photography reminds us that growth doesn’t always happen dramatically. Sometimes the biggest victories are measured in millimetres. ⸻ 🌿 Looking Forward Next week should be particularly exciting. With the root system now becoming established, I expect noticeably faster vertical growth, larger fan leaves and shorter intervals between new nodes. The gap separating Candy Rain from the rest of the room should gradually begin to shrink. Autos often surprise us with sudden bursts of development once they settle into their final containers, and there are already signs that she may be preparing for exactly that. Her story isn’t about catching up. It’s about revealing what she’s capable of. ⸻ 💚 Thank You As always, thank you to every single person following this adventure. Whether you’ve been here since day one or you’ve only just discovered this diary, your encouragement, feedback and conversations are what make documenting every week so rewarding. This project isn’t simply about growing plants—it’s about learning together, sharing experiences and celebrating every stage of the journey. A huge thank you to GrowDiaries for providing a platform where growers from all over the world can learn from one another and document their passion. My sincere thanks also go to Plagron for providing the Terra nutrient line that is powering this entire 8×8 Adventure. Their products continue to deliver consistency, simplicity and reliability throughout every stage of growth. Finally, thank you to the incredible breeders whose genetics make projects like this possible. Every seed carries its own personality, and watching those differences unfold under identical conditions is one of the most fascinating parts of this journey. And of course… Growers Love and, Thank you for taking the time to follow along. One week at a time. One photograph at a time. One plant at a time. The 8×8 Adventure is only just getting started. 🌱💚

Our Watermelon Candy Automatic #1 from Zamnesia Seeds is ready, and we're excited to show it to you. This plant has always performed well, a true powerhouse of nature as it grows, especially as it swells with high-quality central and lateral flowers. Ripeness - The resin content is excellent. The trichomes are mostly white and milky (about 60%), with some clear (20%), and some amber (20%). Some beautiful red-headed trichomes are quite common. The pistils are almost all red (about 80%). Remember, the plant should be harvested according to your taste. Since this is a 50/50 plant, I want to maintain the sativa/day-use characteristics and not turn it into an indica bomb by over-ripening the amber colors. (Amber is a sign of THC oxidation.) The overall shape of the plant is truly splendid. Techniques chosen: As mentioned, we only performed pruning, lollipopping, and defoliation here. Basically, we simply cleaned the bottom parts, which, as mentioned, helps us achieve better results at the top. We're 100% organic and 1000% Plagron, as always. The soil we chose is the recently launched Plagron Bio LightMix, which will allow us to start with smoother and more reliable watering, without the sudden changes that liquid fertilizers can cause. A week's worth of soil is enough, so don't overdo it. Choose your preferred style and calculate your results on the website: www.plagron.com Visit the new Growshop area on the Zamnesia website: Z - https://www.zamnesia.io/it/531-growshop A fantastic strain, not too tall but very bushy! Give it a try! Z - https://www.zamnesia.io/en/7484-zamnesia-watermelon-candy-automatic-semi-seeds.html Z - This feminized strain boasts everything you've come to know and love about the original cultivar, but with some welcome improvements. Combining Watermelon x Candy Kush with a pinch of ruderalis genetics results in a strain you won't want to miss, we promise. Being an autoflowering strain, the growing options are virtually endless. So, whether you choose to grow her indoors or outdoors, one thing is certain: she'll be extremely easy to grow. Otherwise, she'll take care of herself without requiring any special care. With a little general care and pruning, you can control her growth all the way to harvest. She's perfect for beginners growing indoors, as well as more experienced growers looking for easy-to-grow, high-yielding plants. Although she's not a particularly tall plant, her size can be easily controlled with LST, to which she responds positively. So, if you're interested in experimenting with this technique, don't be afraid to try Watermelon Candy Auto. In just 9-10 weeks from seed to harvest, this strain grows rapidly and, just like the original, will display a bushy canopy completely covered in large buds. Regardless of your growing environment, you can expect impressive yields. Indoor plants produce 350-400 g/m², while plants left to flower outdoors produce 50-100 g/plant. These are quite substantial yields for an autoflowering strain. With a THC level of 20%, Watermelon Candy Auto is a 50/50 sativa/indica hybrid, offering users the best of both worlds. After a few tokes, you'll feel more optimistic, and even the most stoic smokers won't be able to suppress a smile. After a few minutes, a deep sense of relaxation will take over, perfect for welcoming you home after a long day. Overall, Watermelon Candy Auto builds on the qualities that made the original so popular, but it also has other qualities that make it a much simpler and more practical option. You know it, but I recommend it. You'll find so much beauty here, essentially "the best nature has to offer." Z - www.zamnesia.com Music // www.radionula.com + Feng Shui Music + Frequency 432Hz

Hey everyone! As you can see from the photos, the girls are looking great overall and have already gained significant volume since the flip. The only note this week is that two out of four plants are still lagging slightly behind in growth. No surprises there, as they're the same ones that ran into some issues early on. At this point there's not much more I can do about it, so the plan is to LST the bigger ones a little wider to open up space and light, while leaving the smaller two untouched, giving them every chance to catch up and even out the canopy. Fingers crossed. On the environmental side, both temperature and humidity are starting to creep up, which is becoming something to actively manage. I'll most likely be adding a proper air conditioning unit soon, one that helps keep temps in check while also giving a hand with dehumidification. The dehumidifier I currently have inside simply isn't keeping up anymore given the density of the canopy. On the nutrient side, I added Bud Ignitor to the stack this week. It's a product that's consistently delivered in previous runs and I have no reason to think this time will be any different. That's all for now. Happy growing everyone, and as always critiques and advice are more than welcome! 🙌
