☀️ // Day 66 🍁 Chopping Day Every grow must come to an end. I can't be the only one who always gets heartbroken when chopping down the plants. I mean, for 4 months you do everything for the plants that they're having a good life. You cheer every healthy sign from them, you want them to love life and from one day to the other, you kill them. That's just sad, isn't it? I am always telling myself that they're basically become a part of us through the endocannabinoid system, so that's their afterlife, right? Haha Anyway, this was a rather stressful grow. I had major problems with the soil, I just couldn't control it. I think it's because of the Peat Free stuff I mixed in, it somehow fucked up the buffer capabilities of the soil or something like that. But that doesn't matter now, I got it under control, the buds developed perfectly but the leafs are damaged by the tips. So it's not the most beautiful plant overall but the buds are very marvelous. They have a rather unique shape, like a pyramid but with an almost flat head? And their purple hue is just breathtaking. It's a very pinkish purple which I haven't seen by myself until now. I am very happy with this genetic in that regard. But let's see how the buds really turn out. I am aiming for a 10-14 day drying period. With 55% humidty during the first 24-48h with 19 °C. I will rise the humidty to 60 % after that period until the end. In that way, I want to make sure that the critical moisture gets out in the first 1-2 days but after that it should be a very, very slow drying to preserve as much cannabinoids and terpenes as possible. Esta es una de las semanas mas bonita del cultivo si llegas sin carencias ni excesos obviamente. Las plantas empiezan a definir el cogollo. La parte izquierda se a definido como un fenotipo xativo mas alto y con muchas ramas. En cambio el lado derecho a sacado un fenotipo mucho mas indico con plantas mas cortas y que seguro generaran un gran central. La temperatura se mantiene entre 25 y 26 grados. Ya hemos empezado a anadirle co2 a 1000 ppm.

Will need to teat them and kill em all off if possible. The thrips are also outdoors on some of my plants, I feel they came from the bagged promix I got or they overwintered and travelled indoors. Light was a bit to strong at 100% when i grew taller, turned it down to 80%ish now till it starts to blooms. currently at 45cm hang height, Tent is having some issues with cooling down, even running the extractor is not doing much, so I prop the door open at the top and it helps vent it out. Maybe because of the vents the air is not circulating though and just travelling up one side of the tent, IDK. its a waste to run it past setting 5 on a 2x2 so the door will stay propped indefinitely. Still no smells unless I'm rubbing them, no signs of flower just yet, temped to top or LST but I think I'm going to let them go as is and get a good gauge on how they grow and yield. This week I started to notice my stems getting dark purple and the leaf showing signs of a magnesium deficiency. This is the largest indoor plant I’ve grown so I was worried about some issue of nutrient depletion happening during flower. I added magnesium sulfate to my mix at a rate of 1/8 teaspoon per feeding. This is on top of my already 4ml per gallon of Cal/Mag. I should have noticed that I was getting nearly 50% run off all of a sudden after my stretch phase was over. I thought it was just done sucking up as much water but it was indeed a magnesium deficient that finally showed itself two weeks later. After the first dose of the Magnesium Sulfate. The very next day the plant sucked down WAY more water. It’s amazing how fast these plants can fix their problems if provided the correct environment and nutrients. The bud development is amazing so far and it’s looking like I will have some great 7-8” tops. Frost production is next level. I have 5 weeks to go and it’s unbelievably frosty on the buds and already working out to fan leafs. Time to start packing on the mass!

Her first week above ground! I didn't do a very good job with this strain last time 😏 Lets see what happens this time.

Lollipopped the monster crop clones in the tent; defoliated everything a bit. Everyone seems to be moving alone nicely. Everything is showing pistils except the two bagseeds in the middle of the tent. Smells great in the closet. Between the two tents I have a 2x7’ area with three Sunraise lights running. I’m hoping to have a better harvest than last time. Last grow I only used the 2x4 tent with three plants and two lights yielded about 2 ounces per plant. I nute burned the hell out of them last time and I’ve been feeding about 1/4 the amount I was last grow. These plants seem much healthier and are much larger than my last grow. I have also become more comfortable with defoliation than I was previously. This time I am focusing on larger, denser buds. The plant in the solo cup is a Pineapple Express clone. It has not rooted but the stalk has turned white and it hasn’t been needing much humidity anymore. It is almost rooted; I have been spraying it with colloidal silver to try and Hermie it. If I can get it to Hermie I can separate it before the pollen sacs burst and selectively breed branches on my other plants to make feminized seeds. **growdairies is messing up; I cannot change the temperatures on substrate, night air or day air. Average temp for all is about 75 degrees Fahrenheit.

Topped this girl this week. Growing pretty good so far. I’ll be potting up to 3 gal pots next week sometime. I also have a Bison Brew that I’ll be using sometime after transplant.

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days.
