Day 72 - Starting week 11 and all I great, really frosty and getting nice and plump. Just counting down till I can chop and the way things are going, I’ll be doing it next weekend. Only seen a couple clear trichs in there and mostly milky! Hoping that by next weekend she’ll be full of amber and if not, I’ll let her go a bit longer. Day 73 - Gave her her last “feeding” today, mixed 5ML of MagiCal and 80ML of Sugardaddy to 2 gallons of water. She’ll probably only get one more watering of plain water this week and let her dry up until chop day. Day 74 - Nothing new today, just some updated pictures. She is definitely starting to fade pretty quickly, just need her to make it about 5 more days. Day 75 - Not seeing any clear trichs anywhere, all milky and starting to get more and more amber’s mixed in there. So looking like everything is on track for a weekend chop. She’ll get one more round of plain water tomorrow and let her dry up from there. Day 76 - Gave the girl her last drink of plain pH’d water tonight and gonna let her dry out from now until chop day and looking like I’ll cut her down Saturday sometime. Day 77 - End of week 11 and her last full week alive. Trichs are starting to amber up quite a bit and she’ll be getting the axe on Saturday. Gotta get a new jewelers loupe so I can get some pictures.

Week 6 of my Runtz Fem Green Sensation test with/without using Plagron soil. The mother will be raised on Xpert Nutrients. And then when I take clones in the next week or 10 days. I'll be growing them as close as possible using Terra line from plagron. Days 35-40 Plant is really starting to push. Making sure to not the soil dry up. I only topped yesterday, so I'm hoping the nodes will start growing now. Giving me 4 sets. 1 row ( 2 sets/4 clones) will be taken. And from those 4 the 2 best rooted will be grown very similar to this using Plagron & of course Green Sensation with & without. I'll be using separate 9L pots once rooted to give them a good few weeks of veg without any need to uppot to bigger veg pots delaying the veg. Xpert Nutrients continues its amazing job. Seeing real growth now pushing it on. I won't bother doing any major fan leave removal until their nodes develop a bit more. Nutrients have been kept low. As its only been put in fresh grow mix a few weeks back. Mainly my focus is on roots, calmag & silica for stress. As you can see. I'm getting a very nice pheno for cloning. Day 41-42 She's moving along at a much quicker pace since topping 3 days ago. I think I'll have to remove fan leaves. As it continues focusing on growing leaves. I transferred it to a half-gallon pot and I mixed the organic fertilizer with the soil.

First attempt at FIM failed. She bounced back just fine this week. She grows thick. FIM attempt #2 @ end week. Mainline training going strong and continues to grow and is on her fourth and final node on each side.

Going strong. End of week 3 , gave her a decent tidy up for more light penetration and air flow.

For this week or the next, I had planned to harvest the Sour Strawberry, but while inspecting the plant, I found some nanners - still mostly in hidden inside the bract - which made me decide to chop it a few days early. Most likey due to heat stress endured due to stretching too much or me turning up the lights to 80% for a while a few weeks ago, I can't be certain that there aren't other nanners or haven't been any in the weeks prior. I expect to find some seeds here and there, but overall I don't think it's going to be a lot. The nanners and harvest aside, this week wasn't very eventful just like the last one. The Acapulco Gold has started to visibly and quickly fade, I'm removing a couple of yellow leaves every day. Trichomes are still in part clear, I expect this one to take at least another 2-3 weeks. The other plants haven't changed much, the trichomes are also still partially clear, similar to the Acapulco Gold, so I'll probably give them at least another 2 weeks. They started drinking less water, so I'll probably also put a little less into the tank this week, given that it's one less plant now, too.

All done with the growing, now time for the long arduous harvest 😸🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️✨. Started the harvest on day 63 of flower, I’ve not just checked their trichomes with a loop or anything, but I’m happy with how they look. The smell is very intense. Slightly worrying in all honesty 👀 filter is really struggling, contemplating getting out my spare extractor fan&filter just while it all drys. Maybe two filters will scrub the smell completely. It’s a lovely smell, Sour Tangy Sherb, but now an extremely heavy gassy wall of smell has permeated everything. Pretty much all the buds have turned purple, just a few of the lowers are a pale green, but that’s to be expected. I’m in the process of cutting them all up into individual branches, giving them a quick wet trim, then hanging them on hangers. I’m aiming for around 10 days drying, then a final trim and into jars for curing. This was the final run of the MotorOG, it’s been a fun strain to run 😸 another decent one from LIT Farms. The grow was a complete success I am so happy and have some great quality product at the end of it. First things first the important bits the weights of each plant and what was done differently on each during the grow, plant colours can be determined by looking at the colour of the pipecleaner hooked over side throughout the grow. Pink - Wet = 548g | Dry = 106g Pink didn't have any defoliation or trimming throughout the grow, she was the untouched girl, looked the biggest at the begining but the other girls overtook in flowering in a big big way! She looked like she got root rot close to the end of the grow potentially, her leaves turned on me very quickly and I harvested her early, she wasn't quite as dry as I liked and during drying more mould occurred on some of the buds, I was left with a good 85g after being very fussy and wipping lots of buds out to protect the rest of the harvest. You can tell she was harvested a little early as doesn't taste as good or smell as good as the rest. Her buds in the jar are more compact as been curing for a week on the rest. Orange - Wet = 416g | Dry = 120g A little bit trimming/defoliation. Stripped of fan leaves on last week for flush. Blue - Wet = 466g | Dry = 121g She was smaller at the start, and I flushed too early as she had a late growth spurt and became massive, think she also developed a late root rot but caught it before any harm was caused to the buds but the leaves are a bit yellow as you can see from the final trimmed product! Also potentially so tall she may of been a bit close to the light and got a little hot. Yellow - Wet = 508g | Dry = 132g The abosolute star of the grow! We grew her originally as a backup in a spare container that is awful for growing, we ended up needing her and transplanted her in the early weeks when we broke one of the other girls. She had a good trim/defoliation throughout grow to ensure she was getting good light coverage. So from this grow I have learnt alot and will be taking the information to try and create a perfect grow next time! My plans are to use perlite to help prevent root rot in the later stages and increase air flow through the soil mix. I will also use a 9cm pot to start the grils off and transplant when they have grown out of them. I will place the scrog net in the tent early on so can use it to train the girls, probably around week 2/3. And I will do a light trim late veg and last couple weeks of flower will get a heavy defoliation. Keeps your eyes open for my pineapple express growing coming soon! Frosty Frosty Frosty! To be a bunch of bag seeds I am beyond happy so far! Have not had very many problems, they have been great with LST and defoliation!
