Day 28 Flower Hey Growers. So it’s day 28 of flower, things are going well. Buds are getting bigger. I have notice a bit of mag deficiency and I decided to treat that with Epsom and a suitable ph for its uptake. I’ve only removed leaves that’s couldn’t be tamed, 1-2/plant each day max. The canopy is pretty packed which I’m not 100% thrilled about as these lower branches have grown up….I never lollipop right 🤦‍♂️🏻 Also I’m gonna try more plants, manifolded and see if that is more what I’m after structure wise. The smell is of skunk and over ripe lemon 🍋 so far, we’ll see how it goes. I’m just watering every 1-2 days in FFW cycle. Honestly I’m not a fan of Manual water hydro. It’s too time consuming and wastes too much nutrient. I’d rather do Dwc or stick with my soil. I’m going for less work, not more. Thanks for checking in. Happy Growing 🌱

I have upped my nutes to 4ml/l but I am probably going to drop it back down again. I am going to ask for some advice on reddit. I really love the smell on this plant, when I open my windows the smell just streams inside 😋. It was a very rainy week so she had to be under a roof for a lot of the time. I also looked at her trichomes with a microscope lens and they look quite milky already, I am not very sure so I will check thoroughly again tomorrow.

Day 126. Really day 90 from seed, part of Control Garden. Amazing how they Bulk, 3 weeks of veg only, crazy strain ! If i ever wanted anything from this strain, she was like "Let's do it ! " 8 sisters were amazing, now i used last two biggest beans and those had no training, no light, nothing, but went into absolute overdrive smells amazing, branches hard to hold while trimming ... Love them, maybe this time taste will be better, different nutes used ... Its so funny to hear branches slowly bending and cracking under own weight with no support left ... Amazing sound for grower ;)) Control Garden is an absolute success even with Strawberries hermie part .. Cure day. 250 g total. Insane for 3 weeks veg, one cola lost to budrot, no direct light and early harvest which led to a bit airy Monster Bulk buds, she could make 150 easy without budrot and one more week of flower ... Will update on night shift ;) Day Unknown. Decided to try out finally last girls for diary records, but ... After a month of intense cure buds got angly/pyramid type forms ... ????? Any idea ? 12/4 Monday she is doing really well. I just gave her water and that’s all I’m gonna give her from here on out. There’s plenty of nutrients I almost overdid it but I caught the mistake just a little leaf burn tip. Her buds are as dense as any photoperiod plant I’ve ever seen. This has been my best grow ever for some reason she really liked me. She really did good even though I had bugs I think the big difference was silica. I read the article on this website about it and I started using it and it makes a huge difference I’m using 2.5 mL mixing it in with the rest of the nutrients and I don’t have any problems at all. 12/5 she looks more than ready her buds are so thick and dense. I just can’t believe it. I see these websites on Twitter where these girls trim up their weed and they sell it and it looks perfect. It’s gonna look almost as good as those I’ve seen really happy with this. This is my most successful grow so I gave her a nice haircut today. 12/6 I have a Bumble / flying fucking red nosed reindeer infestation it’s HORRIBLE you would think a fancy breeder like Seedsmen would put an a warning label on these seeds!! 12/8 I hunted the bumble into extinction and I ate the reindeer. It’s been a beautiful morning what a breakfast. I don’t know if I accidentally did this right, but taking the leaves off of it for the last week and just using water has been great. She’s starting to put out some more resin now I did take two little branches off and the one that I took earlier that dried is really rockhard solid. I’ve never had that before it’s just the best. 12/10 Sunday I’m just letting her dry out there’s three other plants in the tent with her so now they all have the bugs that she had. I had to spray again today with the garden spray I bought on Amazon. She looks pretty good I probably chop her down on Monday, I’ve smoked some it hasn’t really dried so I can’t get to the smell yet. Pretty exciting feels great though.

Sooo both of them are healthy had do drop down a bit of the nutes because of some burned tips around the plants, but other then that they are doing good, they are starting the bulk up slowly, but I think about 4-5 more weeks and its chop time!

Hello Diary. It has completed its sixth week of flowering, a total of 9 weeks since Watermelon sprouted. As can be seen in the photos, most of the leaves have turned yellow and do not look pretty. The consequences are probably over-feeding at some point, plus, the harvest is approaching and the leaves get a more yellowish color. As for the flowers, they look beautiful, have taken on a purple color and are covered with trichomes. The smell is intense. I would like to mention that over-feeding reflected a lot on Watermelon which was not the case with her roommates Purple Punch with whom she shares “Farm”. So I advise future growers to be more careful with adding nutrients. Watering is every three days, I regulate or lower the p.H of water to values ​​between 6.1 and 6.5. And I do that with every preparation of water for irrigation. I stopped adding any additives the previous week so they get clean water. Gelato this strain is really something special. Amazing smell, amazing taste, amazing terpenes really citrus cream bubblegum like. But beware of the smell, this is crazy it's to strong. Also this strain got so much frost on it. Both lady's had so much frost on it that I saved some good trim and made some nice bubble hash .

This week gaver the plant nutes each 2 irrigations (WATER/NUTRIENTS): using a high dose of Top Bloom, (maximum is 4 ml/l, using 4.5 ml/l at the moment,), Top Candy 2ml/l which adds carbohydrates, and Big One which gives the plant extra PK to help developing new hairs what means more budding sites.. 02/03/25 Short facts: - 58cm high - Light is @80% but in a distance of 24 to 35cm - 600 to 740 ppfd - VPD increased to 1.0 but I only do get it up to 0.9 - Defoliated again --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- She has grown significantly again, becoming taller and producing more leaves. I had to defoliate her once more, but she has already regrown some leaves, so I'll probably have to defoliate her again this week. I'm really impressed, she's doing so well!
