I have a hard time adjusting the room temperature because of the air conditioner failure. I started growing with one plant, a week later I added two more, and the next week 2 more.This is why my job is really hard. AK 49s have not started blooming even though they are in their 6th week!DNA genetic seeds and I bought them 3 years ago. In my previous cultivations they flowered in 4 or 5 weeks.With the 12/12 light cycle I encourage them to bloom.Since they're all at 6 weeks of auto seeds, I've started adding the bloom fertilizers. I guess I just need a little luck and good wishes! Please send your beautiful energies...Thanks :))

Started giving full strength nutrients and added big bud and bud candy at this point. Dropped my room temperature slightly. Been having a bit of an issue with room humidity and I’m too cheap to buy another dehumidifier so I added a second fan to keep everything dry. Starting to get a nice purple on one of the plants too :) Also have some orange sherbet autos going in the back of check my other diaries :)

Week 6 Veg Report – Runtz We Meet Again! Another week, another step forward in our Eternity Grow Cup 2025 journey, and oh boy, do we have a lot to unpack! These Runtz girls are showing their potential, and we’re dialing in every little detail to ensure they thrive. Let’s dive deep into everything that happened this week! Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. It's been a busy 2 weeks. Luckily i took pics and a video i just didn't have time to post so i'm going to do both weeks one after another. Great week for growth, started to see some bud sites. I did a bit of pruning and some more LST. More to get some light into the middle part of the plant than anything else. This plant is growing really well.

End of week 9, harvest time! She has dense heavy buds for the most part. Just the lowest and most inner bud sights are fluffy and small, compared to the rest. I will update with dry weight results and smoke taste review in about 2 weeks. Update - March 7 - today was the first smoke and then weigh-in for the OG Kush. Total dry weight 242.2 grams, not including the smoke sample.

Adjusted the light distance to 55cm again it was toooo close about 32cm. 10/12/2019 - Decided to go back and check the basics, removed led strip to give a proper 'night' time, changing light cycle to 20/4h no more 'exotic' 22/2h, re-checked the light distance every 2 to 3 days to ensure 60-45cm and I can tell all ready she is loving it. Also added home made Co2 made with 1 tsp of yeast, 3/4 tsp of sugar 700ml of warm water in a 1l bottle with a tiny pin hole on the cap. 11/12/2019 - Fed her 1.5l of 6.5PH water with 0,5ml of each Grow, Bloom, Max and Alga-mic, and 1ml of each Heaven and Vera,noticed about 10% run off. 12/12/2019 - 8 weeks have passed and no flowers I guess I'm flipping to 1212h to see if she reacts.

The strain is really strong to various stress, it's felt a difference between the two phenotipes, their are both delicious but one more berry flavoured and the other more exotic one. At the moment the best strain I've ever grow! 💐🍧

19/06/2021 - Day 28 - First day of the 5th week. MEMO: I'm using the following "names" for differentiating the two both in comments and pics: 🅰️ - "A" for the one transplanted in the garden soil and that will NOT receive any nutrient; 🅱️ - "B" for the one that will grow in the pot and that will receive nutrients. 👉 Started LST also for "A", 3 good spots for the flowers. She is starting flowering right today. Smaller than "B" but I'm positive. 👉 "B" started flowering basically the 2nd day of 3rd week. Isn't this a little too early? Didn't have time to optimize LST so now I have to remove fan leaves in order let the sun light reach all the flowering spot. Definitely not satisfied with the training. Started right today feeding with "Easy Bloom Booster Tablets" by RQS. Hot and sunny week, zero rain, we good 😁 There is just one problem (is this a problem?): I think ants created a nest under both plants. Do I have to worry?
