🌱 Sour Diesel — Week 7 From Seed (Week 2 Flower) Quick Recap (for context) This Sour Diesel has had a tougher road compared to the rest of the room. Earlier in the cycle, she was hit by a combination of: • Colder external temperatures • Environmental instability during early development • Slower initial adaptation compared to her sisters She never fully enjoyed the colder phase, and recovery has been slow but steady, not explosive. This update reflects a plant that is stabilizing, not one that is racing. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Update • Day temperature: ~28 °C (successfully raised and now stable) • Humidity: ~65% • PPFD: ~600–850 (depending on height and position) • CO₂: ~900 ppm (now stabilizing around ~909 ppm) As outside temperatures remained low, the room naturally became its own heat source due to: • Increased plant mass • Higher light intensity • Addition of under-canopy lighting No forced heaters. No extremes. Just letting the system balance itself naturally. 🌬️ Airflow • Vortex extraction • Multiple cross-flow fans • Constant, gentle air movement No leaf chaos — just steady motion. ⸻ 💧 Feeding & Nutrition Strategy This week marks a clear transition phase. • EC: ~2.4 • pH: 6.5 (now transitioning downward — all feeds moving toward 6.0+) Why a Slightly Higher pH Right Now? As plants enter early flower, demand shifts: • Improved Ca / Mg uptake • Stronger P & K availability • Increased root activity A slightly higher pH during this moment supports: • Structural development • Flower initiation • Stability under higher PPFD and CO₂ Nutrient Transition • Terra Grow → flowering nutrients • Supporting the hormonal shift from stretch → stack • Minor signs of possible Ca/Mg demand observed → already being addressed → nothing severe or alarming (Reference images included above for transparency.) ⸻ 🌸 Flowering Progress & Current State She is flowering — slowly, which is expected after stress. Important clarification: • Week 7 from seed • Week 2 of flower This slower pace is not a failure — it’s a recovery-driven transition. She’s prioritizing balance before expression. Leaves are not “happy” in the Instagram sense, but they are: • Responsive • Stable • Not deteriorating That matters more right now. ⸻ 🌍 Seasonal Reality Outside conditions remain harsh: • Temperatures around 4–5 °C • Humidity consistently 90%+ • Full winter conditions The room itself is stable and dialed. The rest of the garden is thriving under these conditions. Because of that: • We are not changing the whole room for one plant • Instead, Sour Diesel receives extra attention and care • The environment remains optimal for the majority of the crop Adaptation goes both ways — plants and growers. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect (and What Not to) What we expect: • Continued stabilization • Gradual stacking over the coming weeks • Expression that comes late, not loud What we don’t expect: • Explosive stretch • Perfect symmetry • A “pretty” early flower phase This phase is critical because it determines: • Whether the plant commits energy to survival or production • How much it can realistically give later on Right now, the goal is completion, not competition. ⸻ 🙏 Closing Thanks Huge thanks to: • The genetics creators • The nutrient partners • The GrowDiaries platform for providing a space where growers can document, learn, and interact • The community — OGs, newcomers, supporters, skeptics, lovers, haters — all part of the journey Growing is adaptation. With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. Another week of growth in the books here. I am loving the flowers peyote forum is putting off. Starting to see some purple colours starting on these plant. Also noticing one of the plants starting to lose its colour which has me concerned as I saw some bugs on this plant a few weeks ago and sprayed for them, something to keep an eye on moving forward. I top dressed these plants with 1 tbsp/gallon of Power Bloom and hit them with a compost tea made up of worm castings, Bokashi Pro Gro, Molasses and Bat Guano. This will be the last feeding I give these plants.

The snow is really coming down out there. Big fat flakes are piling up on the ground, and it doesn't look like it's going to stop anytime soon. I guess that means no outdoor plans for today. Might be the perfect day to get cozy inside with a warm drink and a good book The pound cake auto plant is growing like crazy! I'm so happy to see all the progress we've made. Yesterday, I finally got around to tying it down – it's amazing how much more stable it feels now. I can't wait to see what this plant looks like in a few more weeks.

The plants are now growing slower in height and start to develop real flower clusters at all tops. Both Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants are bushy with lots of budding sites, but plant#2 is now 15 cm taller than plant #1, which is a little more bushy than #2. Both plants are healthy and still enjoy the normal recommended feeding schedule from Advanced Nutrients.

10/27 Week 5 PURPLE BUDS! This was unexpected even as a mystery strain Saw some unwanted bronzing on leaves, like its ever wanted, lets just say also unexpected. Best we can see is PH variances as possible issue, so there is that again. Just began on the middle leaves not top or bottom. So looking forward to the coco he is preparing, nice to know where you stand. Will watch and wait as the foliar spray did not help for certain. 10/29 Problem does not seem to be advancing - Soil PH confirmed at 6.7 so no problem there. 10/30 Feeding time Recharge 0.5 tsp - Kangaroots 5ml - CalMag 5ml - PH 6.5 for one gallon over 3 tbs top dressing Dr. Earth Flower Girl and one inch of mulch (50% coco/perlite) Trimmed off the damaged leaves where I could so if anything new arises it will be plain. See where it goes with the Flower Girl New Pics! My baby Krisabel is back! Her color her bearing her presence is restored! The change worked removed all dead zones since it stopped advancing, noticeable growth in just a couple of hours. Happy day 😁

First time growing the new RF3 version and the stability and uniformity is on point. They smell so sweet and delicious. I decided to hang dry then since the weather was perfect for the conditions and also hung some in the dryroom. One I'll be Growing again as the flowers are covered in trichs and perfectly dense. I did a test wash with 10g to see if it'd make a good washing strain but the results weren't the best so I'll be drysifting this one. Happy Growing

? Blue Waffle F1 — Pheno A Week 1 | New Tent, New Genetics, New Adventure Hello GrowDiaries family! 👋🌱 Today marks the beginning of something completely new in the garden. Not just a new genetic. Not just a new diary. But an entirely new growing environment built from the ground up specifically for this project. Welcome to Blue Waffle F1 by Zamnesia Seeds. And welcome to the first official week inside the new Zamnesia setup. ⸻ A New Beginning This diary is part of a completely separate project from the 12/12-from-seed run many of you have been following. While the previous garden focused on photoperiod plants grown under a strict flowering schedule from day one, this tent has a completely different objective. For this project we’re running: * 18/6 light schedule * Full vegetative development * Potential training techniques * Possible topping * Possible LST * Possible Scrog * And whatever these genetics decide to inspire along the way For now, however, everything starts exactly where every great grow begins: With a seed. ⸻ The Cannakan Germination System As with many previous diaries, germination began using my trusted Cannakan system. The concept remains wonderfully simple. Seeds are placed inside with plain water. Nothing more. No nutrients. No stimulants. No secret ingredients. Just water. The objective isn’t to feed the seed. The objective is simply to wake it up. Nature already packed everything required for those first moments of life inside the shell itself. For Blue Waffle F1, germination was fast and impressive. After approximately 24 hours of soaking, the seeds had absorbed water and begun the process. Most of the water was then removed, leaving only enough moisture to maintain ideal conditions. Roughly 12–13 hours later, one seed had already produced a beautiful healthy taproot. The second wasn’t far behind. At that point both seeds were transferred into their final containers. Sometimes plants make the decision for us. These girls were ready. ⸻ From Root To Light Once planted into Plagron Lightmix, development continued at an impressive pace. Less than 24 hours later, the first seedling was already emerging above the soil surface and searching for light. Pheno A was slightly faster from the start. The photos clearly show her vigorous emergence and strong taproot development. The characteristic little “tail” visible during germination quickly transformed into a healthy young seedling eager to begin growing. Her sister wasn’t far behind. Both seedlings established themselves quickly and showed exactly the kind of vigor we hope to see from modern F1 genetics. ⸻ Why Use A Humidity Dome? During the first few days after emergence, both seedlings spent some time under a humidity dome. This is something many growers choose to use during early development. The purpose is simple: Young seedlings possess only a very small root system. Because they cannot yet absorb large amounts of water through the roots, maintaining slightly elevated humidity helps reduce moisture loss through the leaves. The dome isn’t intended as a permanent environment. It’s simply a temporary tool that helps young seedlings bridge the gap between germination and proper root establishment. Once the plants become established, the dome is removed and normal environmental conditions take over. The objective is adaptation. Not dependence. ⸻ Building The New Zamnesia Grow Tent Kit One of the highlights of this week was assembling the brand-new Zamnesia Grow Tent Kit. Everything shown throughout this diary was built and installed by a single person. No assistants. No special tools. No complicated setup. Just patience and a free afternoon. To my surprise, the entire installation process moved extremely quickly. Even including: * Tent assembly * LED installation * Carbon filter installation * Inline fan setup * Ducting * Controller installation * Cable management The complete system was operational in under an hour. If I can build it alone, most growers will have absolutely no trouble doing the same. The instructions included are excellent, although in my particular space I ended up making a few adjustments and performing some creative grow-room gymnastics to fit everything exactly where I wanted it. The quality of the materials immediately stood out. The frame feels extremely solid. In fact, during setup I jokingly tested just how sturdy it was and found it capable of handling far more abuse than most grow tents will ever experience. First impressions have been extremely positive. Now it’s time to see how it performs over an entire grow cycle. ⸻ What’s Included In The Kit? For those curious about the exact setup being used throughout this project, the complete Zamnesia Grow Tent Kit includes: * Grow Tent 100×100×200 cm * Phytonaut LED Grow Light 320W * 150 mm Inline Duct Fan * 150 mm Carbon Filter * Grow Environment Controller * 152 mm Clip Fan * 2 m Flexible Ducting * 24-Hour Timer * Rope Ratchet Hangers * Velcro Cable Management System Everything currently running in this tent comes directly from this package. No substitutions. No upgrades. No additional equipment. This allows us to evaluate the entire system exactly as it arrives. ⸻ Environmental Conditions For this first week, conditions were intentionally gentle. Light intensity was measured using a PAR meter and maintained around: ~200 PPFD At this stage, seedlings simply do not require high-intensity lighting. The objective is root development and healthy establishment rather than explosive growth. The plants responded beautifully. Healthy posture. Good color. Strong emergence. And steady daily progression. Exactly what we hope to see. ⸻ First Impressions Of Blue Waffle F1 Although still extremely young, Blue Waffle F1 has already made a positive first impression. Fast germination. Strong emergence. Healthy color. Excellent vigor. And perhaps most importantly: Confidence. Some seedlings seem hesitant. This one simply got to work. The coming weeks will reveal much more about structure, growth rate, branching potential, and eventual terpene profile, but the opening chapter could hardly have gone much smoother. ⸻ Looking Ahead Week 1 is always about foundations. Roots before fruits. Patience before training. Observation before intervention. Over the coming weeks we’ll continue documenting: * Vegetative growth * Structural development * Environmental management * Training decisions * Nutrient progression * Genetic expression * And everything these new F1 genetics choose to reveal For now, Blue Waffle F1 Pheno A has arrived safely, settled into her new home, and seems very happy about it. The kingdom has officially opened its gates. Let’s see what this little Blue Waffle decides to cook for us. ?💙🌱 Grower’s Love everyone. 💚

Another dream week for orange dream , it’s more like a fantasy as this stage like for real for real she’s a stunner !! Chunky as , fruity as , sticky as , smells like , like it’s too hard to describe like a sticky orange syrup cake full of orange zest a hint of vanilla.. I don’t know I’m in love with this girl . I smoked a lil bud off her yesterday and it was as good as it looks . Another week or two to go and I’ll be the happiest inmate of trim jail I’ve ever been .
