Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. Not much to report on the Bubble Runtz, , she popped above soil on day 3 and is now on day 7 and is working on her 2nd set of true leaves. I started prepping the Coco Coir by flushing down to .4 EC and then soaking in water with an EC of 2.0 with Cal Mag and a PH of 6.8. I will let it soak until the seedlings are ready to be transplanted hopefully by next weekend or shortly thereafter. The weather in my region is perfect for cultivating seedlings as it is fairly hot and humid and I only have the Spectrum X running at 30% so it is not putting out much heat and I also have a humidifier running in the tent on low which is maintaining a RH of around 68%. I do have the AC Infinity fan kick on here and there just to keep some fresh air in the tent but no real issues with heat. This is my first run with Tastebudz genetics and super excited to try a cross of Bubble Gum and Runtz. I plan to build a mainline and flip as soon as all 5 mainlines are built, hopefully around week 7. This Medic Grow light is perfect for a 5X5, and the AC Infinity 8" exhaust does an excellent job of keeping the tent cool. I will set up an auto feeding system which consists of a reservoir, and some 1/2" tubing that is hooked to a submersible pump in the reservoir and set to feed for 1 minute every 6 hours through halo feeders connected to ball valves to adjust the flow. The runoff then flows via gravity to a 5 gallon bucket in the tent with a shallow pan condensate pump that pumps the runoff out of the tent when it gets above 3 inches to another reservoir. I have been growing fruit and vegetables for over 40 years and I have recently switched to high frequency fertigation in Coco Coir for my tomatoes as well, as I believe this growth medium combined with this technique is the safest, most environment friendly, and foolproof method of getting monster yields no matter what crop you are growing, and I have seen massive results in both cannabis and tomatoes. They are growing coots fast! I moved the smaller non-viable plants outside since it’s warm, but they haven’t done much. Think it’s time to say goodbye to those :( I’m just happy with the 5 plants I have now. I’m sure they will all yield nicely!

🗓️ Week 5 – Nutrient Refresh, Net Adjustment & Light Optimization Arrived in week 5 with a complete nutrient solution refresh. This time using 2.5 ml/L Plagron Hydro A & B and 1 ml/L Plagron CalMag Pro, mixed into a total of 13 liters of water (the bucket turned out to be bigger than expected, according to the Amazon specs 15L). pH adjusted to 5.5 using Hesi pH-. During the water change, I lifted the SCROG net briefly to check on the roots – they’re looking great: bright, healthy, and strong. Net was repositioned afterward. The light is now running at level 8 out of 10, delivering around 800 PPFD in the center and about 700 PPFD at the edges, with a distance of 35 cm to the canopy – everything’s well dialed in! ————— 🗓️ Woche 5 – Nährlösung, Netz & Licht-Feinschliff In Woche 5 gab’s ein frisches Nährstoff-Update: Die komplette Lösung wurde ausgetauscht – diesmal mit 2,5 ml/L Plagron Hydro A & B sowie 1 ml/L Plagron CalMag Pro auf insgesamt 13 Litern Wasser Eimer misst mehr als gedacht – laut Amazon-Beschreibung 15L. Everything went ok this week. They seem to still be drinking ok but not as much. The flowers are hard dense. I also notice the smell isn't as strong a week ago. This week I downgraded the tea to just molasses and my diy compost.

I was able to learn a lot again and am very grateful for it! USE THE AIRPOD ON THE RIGHT WAY!! :)

8-10 days in fridge and I’ll post last update with cured buds

These clones were mixed up & are either Orange sherbet or Tropicana cookies or they could be both! Unfortunately from experience growing them before they are very hard to tell apart untill late flowering. Originally grown in DWC ,all 3 got root rot at one stage Due to extremely high temps around 35°c. Had them in a 4x8 tent, running a 6 Inch adjustable speed exhaust fan which couldn't get temps lower than 33°c in our summer heat of 40°c days & nights! Moved back into 4x4, fan works good in this size tent reduces temps 28° to 31° max. Had to cut out rotten roots on back 2 plants & put them back into veg for 2 weeks until they came good, I also took them out of DWC & put them into recirculating hydro & put back into flower. Since then they have really taken off & are very healthy & lush. The 3rd plant at the front is 4 weeks into flower this one also got root rot at a different time, but I left this one in flower. I trimmed the root rot out & have had some issues with her, I also changed her from DWC to recirculating hydro as it's more forgiving in the heat & it's how I've always grown until recently doing DWC without problems in the past. All the bigger shade leaves have turned yellow, not sure if it's still something to do with root rot or a deficiency of some sort. Just trying to get this one over the line at this point 🤞🙏 increased light wattage from 480 to 730watts running 2 viper spectra lights (250watt) inside my Mars Hydro FC-E 4800.

This week the buds bulked up, more resin and seem to finally be showing some color with the Cooling of the temps naturally. The plant on the right had gotten some light burn so that’s why some of the leaves are lookin burnt. Plant on the left might be the one of the most beautiful I’ve witnessed flowering yet. Can’t wait to see what the next couple of weeks bring!!!

Third week since the change of photoperiod and resin production begins to look promising, we expect a fairly abundant layer of resin for extractions.

5/23/2023 Week 7- Day 1 of Flower (Day 110 overall) (Day 49 of Flower) There was a couple of small super small sucker buds on the lower stocks that needed to be cleaned off but that was it. Just watching them Flower!! 5/24/2023 Week 7- Day 2 of Flower (Day 111 overall) Tucked a few fan leaves below lower buds but didn't see any blatant offenders that needed to be removed. I typically do start my checks in Week 8 but since this is a new strain I decided to go ahead and do a Trichome check just to see what was what.. Just as I thought nothing but clear glassy Trichomes. I will check again in one week.... 5/25/2023 Week 7- Day 3 of Flower (Day 112 overall) Just letting them grow today!! Smell is getting stronger I would say it is a hint of Pine and a heavier fruity smell. 5/26/2023 Week 7- Day 4 of Flower (Day 113 overall) I did Nothing but took some pics and I enjoyed it!!!! It is nice to be able to just sit back and watch them on auto pilot.. :-) Tomorrow Water Change Day!! 5/27/2023 Week 7- Day 5 of Flower (Day 114 overall) I admit it.. I had to defoliate a little bit.. I looked in while changing the water today and there were just a couple blatant offenders blocking the light from lower bud sites and those leaves they just had to go. Other than that I changed the water and this week is where I drop everything and start preparing them for this last phase of the grow. Loving a few of these buds they are starting to beef out very nicely. Other than that I took off a few little sucker buds trying to form. I did start to setup my Dry space as well as did a Trichome Check today and the brown tips are coming in nicely. 5/29/2023 Week 7- Day 7 of Flower (Day 116 overall) Found a few baby sucker buds trying to form so I removed them. Other than that I am enjoying watching her mature. I also started my Reverse of the Clone I took 6 weeks ago in Apr from #3. I am uploading footage of the reversing process for your viewing pleasure.

#43 clones are maturing too fast I feel. Especially that a mother is ripening normally. I would guess it’s because of poor rooting. It’s the only difference. I keep runoff at around 3 max. Around week 5 the runoff ph started to drop below 6. Even towards 5.5. Both in rockwool and coco.
