6/21/25 She started week 3 and was ready to top for the first time. Her stem reached over 3mm and look at those big ass fan leaves of her. Holy molly. Never going back to soil. For everyone who wants to try dwc or hydro, do it bc there is nothing to fear! Ph is stable between 5.7 -5.9 I only intervene when it would suddenly drop under or over by a lot. I am disappointed. Not in the genetics but in my growing. But....I've learned a lot this grow. I know there is still tons to figure out. That comes next season. The girls dried out sitting in front of an AC unit. I failed to realize it until it had done its damage. Early in the grow, we lost 6 seedlings. That hurt, so did the heat.

04/22/25. Start of week 8 flower. Uh.. apparently I took way too many pictures lol. Oops. Couldn’t help it.. she’s photogenic I guess. Anyway, getting some new pretty colors now and her pistils are darkening up a lot more now. Also getting some foxtailing on the two tallest buds. Probably getting light blasted a bit much, but they’re quite a bit taller than the rest.. and I don’t want them lacking, so it is what it is. I gave her food a couple days ago, but I’ll be looking at her trichs to see where she’s at. I’m guessing she still has a bit to go, but guessing isn’t gonna do it- pistils have lied to me before. I’ve seen a bit of white in them before and had amber trichs. My guess is that the next update will not be a harvest. Guess we will see. ✌️

One of the plants doesn't look so good, looks like is related Cal/Mag deficiency but I added it after 10 days from seed so not sure if I had to add more or is something else

The stretch finally... finally... stopped, just as I was starting to get worried about her outgrowing her bedroom. Four colas decided to shoot up above the rest of the canopy. I'm not mad about it. She's producing buds with vigor now--fat pistils and, interestingly, purple calyxes (happened with the last one I ran too... passive temp control for the win 🙃). A lot of trichomes popped up overnight too. She may finish sooner than I was expecting, which would be rad. She's grown into a real sphere of doom.

So 3 weeks in, 4 were males, unfortunately all 4 were descendants of mephisto’s gen’s. Bit disappointed about that but what can ya do. After growing 10 of the bitches at once I am NEVER doing that again. People always talk about how many they want to grow before they do… to those that haven’t started in this pursuit yet, heed my warning lol. They just hit their pre flower growth spurt, I did have 30 days marked on their lives on a reminder on my phone to defoliate because last grow I had so much larf. The fog dog grows nice and stout, the glue sniffers tall and lanky. Both phenos differ very little. I cut off like 3/4 of the bottom nodes off each. Fingers crossed they take it well.
