Had some slight problems with the seed shells not popping off of the Cheese and Hulkberry seedlings. The fat banana looks good so far, some slight yellow coloring on outer edges of the fan leaves. Any suggestions from the pix above would be helpful to identify what kind of trauma the plants are going through and how to address it. ***** Regarding all pictures from 6/17/19, any help would be truly appreciated!!

Thank you to everyone for following this journey! The results were nuts. Honestly, I would've been happy with 40g dry as this is my first grow. I DEFINITELY did not expect this outcome which is insane. This gives me so much confidence in my future grows and appreciation for the companies whose products I used. So, now to the point - Dry weight - Top class buds - 176g, smaller buds - 32g, larf/leaves/scissor hash - 26g. To sum up - 208g of product you can smoke and 26g that'll go to edibles. First grow, 2x2 tent, 100w light, three-part fertilizer and cal mag - that's insane, especially because I was expecting nothing more than 60g and like I mentioned, I would've been happy with 40g. I even thought my scale was broken or something went wrong, I still can't believe I pulled 208g of bud. It took 117 days from seed to smoke - that's disregarding the cure. Seed to flower in 42 days. Flower to harvest in 61 days. 14 days drying. Thank you to FastBuds, I've sent them an email about the grow with some questions and got a speedy reply with some pointers towards the end of the flower. Also, I don't have anything to compare this grow with but I had 0 issues with pests which I was really happy about. I didn't have to spray anything on the plants, didn't have a single bug inside the tent. They mention on the website that NL is a very resilient strain so that might've been because of this specific strain. Spiderfarmer light did amazing too - 208g of bud from 100w light!. General Hydroponics did way better than I expected - there's so many companies with multiple bottles of nutrients that expect you to spend ridiculous amounts of money on their products while I got crazy results with just 3 basic bottles. Cal and Mag by Canna worked with no complaints. Takeaways - seems like the runoff pH doesn't matter in coco - I could be wrong but I struggled with coco pH from the very beginning. Regardless, the outcome speaks for itself. Maybe the harvest would've been even better with an optimal pH but in this particular grow, I don't think it mattered much. Before starting this grow I've done A LOT of research and it looks like it most definitely paid off! I was panicking at first because of the slow growth. The plant also had some leaf deformities and the color wasn't as green as I've expected it to be. It was stressful at first, I think especially because I was constantly comparing my grow to someone else's. This specific LST method where I kept rotating the main stem clockwise every day or two paid off as well. The canopy was relatively even and new tops grew crazy fast. The only thing left to do is to cure the bud. I had two 1.5L containers ready for cure/storing since I didn't expect to pull much but had to go acquire a few more "big boys" to fit all the product in, which is a good problem to have. I don't think that I'll be updating the cure here but the plan is to burp 2x/day for 15-30min each time for the first week and 1x/day for 15-30min the second week. After the first couple of weeks I won't be timing the burps. As of now, I've placed boveda 62% packs inside the containers to maintain a RH of at least 58% in the jars. About the Northern Lights strain - the smell hasn't fully returned yet post trim, but it smells like sweet fruits with a hint of black pepper. You can still smell a bit of pine/grass but I think that'll be gone after the cure. Buds are covered with trichomes, they shine like diamonds when you take a better look. Also, the buds look a little airy but are still really dense when pressed. The smoke - It's a tasty, relaxing high. I get why people describe it as night time smoke but for me personally, it grounds me a bit and I can enjoy it anytime. Also, it burns white ash :)) P.S. This is a lengthy diary but I hope that people can learn some stuff from my notes shall they read them! Thanks to everyone that followed the journey, showed support or just browsed through. On day 1 the reservoirs PH is 6.3. The rez is 483 ppm. The girls are looking good and nitrogen toxicity seems to have stopped. On day 2 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.1 to 6.3. The rez is 477 ppm. Trichomes seem to be 10% cloudy so I still have a bit to go i'm thinking 9 weeks should be a good bet! On day 3 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.4 to 6.1. The rez is 500 ppm. On day 4 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. The rez is 503 ppm. I lowered the ppfd so my tallest received 900 ppfd and an average of 543 ppfd. On day 5 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. The rez is 519 ppm. I removed some of the extra fan leaves blocking bud sites. On day 6 I changed out the reservoir with only tap water and adjusted the PH from 6.7 to 6.1 with a ppm of 249. The trichomes are maturing and I plan on harvesting on week 8 day 4 of flower. On day 7 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.5 to 6.0. The rez ppm is 250.

With 33 grams on such a small plant I can't complain. I was amazed on the many hours (3) to clean the buds before curring. Several buds had rotten places because of the yellow leaves, they died and caused this problem Luckily I stopped in time and dived a little bit earlier in harvesting here highness.

👋🏻☘️ Started low stress training this week a long with the first proper defoliation to provide more airflow and light coverage. Continuing to bend the main stems down everyday to help even out the canopy as much as I can before adding scrog net next week. Will switch to 12/12 soon. ✌️

The week is progressing as usual. They continue to grow, flourish, and get denser. I continue the same feeding regimen, 1 nute feeding and 2 to 3 plain water feeding before another round of nutes. 3 liters seems to be the sweet spot for them in these 10 gallons. Every 3 to 4 days.

Hello Canna Fam, So the end of week 6 has arrived and the ladies are in flower officially. I did some defoliating to all 6 plants as some where very bushy, hopefully they respond well and don’t slow down too much on the flowering. Nevertheless now the flower fun begins 🤩

I visited her today!!!! Day 147!!! when I came I saw one broken branch, yesterday there was quite a strong wind, I think it's his fault :) but everything else looks good, just found 1 small ring of rot :), which allows me to leave it to grow for another week :) very beautiful girl :) there will be a renewal, good luck!!!!

Giving her ph adjusted tap water to flush her out well for the chop in 7 days. 🌊✂️ First time growing a sativa dominant strain & I was expecting it to grow taller than the other hybrids in the same enviroment but it didnt. Not sure why my buds are airy & foxtailing a bit. Maybe heat stress or maybe just the genetics. 🤷‍♂️🏽Nothing else in the room showed nug structures like this so it kinda makes me suspect the bud structures to be due to genetics. 🤔

Day 80 This morning I started defoliating Tropicana. She will be in the darkness for the next days. I already harvested a part of the head flower and let it dry trimmed. Because of extreme weather conditions and very high humidity I got a little bud rott. I found it out quit early I think. So I hope nothing will not happen any more. Just harvesting relaxed and drink a Tropicana tee. Day 81 I decided to cut her down in the evening. The humidity in the basement room is high and I don‘t want to risk here anything anymore. Waiting for my first homegrown weed to be vaped. Day 82 Tropicanas flowers hanging to dry in my basement. I check them once per day with a strong light. Day 83 Same same. The smell is wonderful like a bit of gas combined with a fruity flower bouquet. Our neighbors in the house like the smell, too. 🙏 Day 84 I could try my first homegrown weed. It‘s absolutely tasty and have a very smooth vape. I was very surprised cause it‘s not cured yet. A longer vape report will follow when it‘s dried and cured. Day 88 All flowers, sugar- and tee leafs are trimmed and filled in glasses for curing. I open twice per day for 20 minutes. Boveda packs 58% inside. I will fill out the rest of the diarie when my buds are dried, cured and vaped. So far this was a very exciting journey for me. Growing cannabis and even legal on our balcony. Feels still a bit unreal, but it’s real! Thank you for reading my diary! Thanks to all the people who worked on legalizing cannabis in Germany, especially to the „Deutscher Hanfverband (DHV)“! I will give more updates and write a vape report after curing several weeks. Maybe with some Tropicana Cookies baked in Comfreys garden kitchen.

Happy New Everyone 😀 🙏🙏 I have now got all of my Photoperiod Girls under a Greenhouse. Its only an elcheapo from Ebay but I reinforced it with a heap of good old Gaffer tape and Zipties. I also ran guide ropes to the ground at the corners for Protection against heavy winds so hopefully it'll stay put. The Wifi Plant just keeps growing and growing and will soon need some type of branch support and I'm thinking of using some of those plant yo yo's. The white residue you can see on the leaves is Diatomaceous earth. I mixed some into the worm/mollasses tea just before I sprayed my plants with it. It acts as a bug deterrent and can't hurt the plant in any way. I also mix some into the worm tea that I feed straight to the soil as Diatomaceous Earth is a fantastic source of Silica which we all know is extremely beneficial to your Plants Health. As Far as my super soil is concerned , so far I have not needed to feed the plants any fertilisers as the soil is providing everything the plant needs. All ive been adding is biodynamic food for the soil itself to keep everything under the surface happy and well nourished. Once flowering begins next month I will need to add an organic Booster to the soil that will replace any depleted resources. Because I only feed water throughout the grow there is no need for any final flush I can simply Harvest when it's ready and dry/cure etc. Thankyou for reading this weeks update 2nd January 2020 👍
