🗓️ Week 14: 2/26 - 3/4 📆 Week 4 of 12/12

2/3/22: Watered with only aquarium water, no nutes. They are all getting very thirsty! Sherbert was dry and droopy yesterday so I watered her yesterday. I watered all other plants today, they seemed mildly dry/very slightly droopy - so I gave them between a ½-¾ of a gallon each. I'll have to keep a close eye on Sherbet she's very thirsty & she gets hangry easily! (hangry = droopy:)

I have to dry the buds at 20 degrees in the dark at 50% humidity

This is the last week. I noticed some white powder on lower leaves again and decided, that it's better not to wait more. On the day 73 both plants were harvested.

Day 36. One girl is shooting the sky other still have that unhealthy look, made my mind - its genetics and i can't do anything. Girls got second feed, looks happy and hopefully will bring some nice flowers. Took some leaves down, spread a bit, but most of work will be done next week, if i will dare ;))) Last time used Root Juice, added Acti-Vera, increased Bloom and Heaven. Day 40. After last feed, girls got small rusty spots on 4-5 leaves total, cut out cal mag for couple weeks. Heavy training, its always tricky to decide what to do with Autos and i have almost no knowledge, but i have SPA Queen and Midget aka Margaret ;))) both different, but bushy, had to clear Midget really heavily and still loads future airbuds left, but maybe ... ;))) Girls drink 3 liters every day, highest rate ever, but i relate it to most powerfull exhaust ever. Some leaves on both plants got strange mutation, like leaf tries to branch out ... Never seen anything like this. But by height i presume it happend on first feed, late Root Juice aftermath ? Bloom Mode On 🌺⚡️ Big shift this week—after 24 weeks of vegging, I’ve officially flipped the light cycle to 11/13 and kicked off flowering! She’s standing strong and ready for the next chapter. Day 35 is here. We are a week into flower and most the plants are just starting to hit that flowering stretch. I have been bending them down a little every couple days, but I need to focus on cleaning up some of the bottom branches so we can keep good air flow through the plants. Will work on that through this next week. I haven't done a water change, just been topping off the reservoir with fresh nutrients as they drink it up. Feeding half and half maxigro and maxibloom. Will cut out the maxigro in a couple weeks when I notice their stretch slowing down. I had a plant overflow this week because the drain line is getting full of roots. I noticed a couple roots have made their way into the reservoir already. I set a pump timer to 1 minute on and 20 minutes off so they can drain properly. I would like to make it through the grow without having to mess with the drains, but we will see what happens. I will make some modifications if needed. Other than that everything is running smooth and I hope we have some little pistils to show by next week. Thanks for stopping by ✌️

Hey here we go again.. in the pics I explained how to clean the lava rocks but to make it easier I will put them here. LAVA ROCK CLEANING. 1... fill sink with hot water and about a half bottle of hydrogen peroxide . 2 ...dump rocks into sink 3....shake out rocks from roots...I suggest you do this in another sink then add lava rock to other sink..it keeps from adding to many roots to water sink. 4....skim off all roots from top of water...now while the lava rocks sit in the water..clean the buckets. 5...take fitting from buckets and add to a cup filled with hydrogen peroxide let sit 6...clean buckets with hot water and hydrogen peroxide....dry bucket 7...take fittings out of cup clean off and clean inside fittings..then wash off and put back into buckets. 8... use a colander and add lava rock to it and run hot water over the lava rock as you move them around...then add warm..then cold water this will help make the roots brittle and easy to remove...shake off all water. 9...put rocks back into buckets 10 ...set room back up with all new lines... Day 43 of life. Flower 8. Last 4 days a lot of stretching. 14.12.... A lot of life in her... , 16.10.10 TEN TTEENN SIDEBRANCHES!!!!!!! I did nothing. 10 plus main with 2 sides in the main.. 😛 💪 27.12. Day57 22 of flower. 2 weeks re gone. She stopped stretching. Buds on the way.

08/29/24. Going into week 9 flower Day 65 out of stated 70. I think this one might be about spot on. Quite a lot of milky trichomes when I checked a couple days ago. I will be checking again today. Not much else going on, other than water only now and decreased light intensity to about 55%. Gotta say that even with the fights I had with this girl in parts of veg, I’m loving how things are turning out. She’s a freaking sticky, frosty, smelly beast. Can’t wait to see what harvest brings, but don’t worry.. she won’t be rushed. Anyhow, Ill update if anything changes Update: 09/03/24. Banana is no longer with the living. She was taken last night and is hanging fully in a dark closet at 61/72 with a small fan for air movement. It’s pointed down and not blowing at her. I don’t have a way to wet weigh, I always just give dry weight so no point in doing the harvest update week yet. I will do that when she’s dry and ready to cure. She’s definitely heavy though :)

Day 37 - Hitting the ladies with a little LST. My cloner project took a bit of a backseat to life, so I'm a little late in the game to top these babies.... So I decided I'm going to do something I have never done before.... Let these plants grow naturally. Yeah, you read that right, I've never let a plant just grow out without some sort of fun training technique. Even my very first grow was riddled with aggressive plant shaping. This time will be different! This time I will be just doing some very basic LST to open up their branches to more light. I went in and stripped some of the inner growth sites that would have produced nothing but popcorn buds being so hidden from light. I then created anchor points around the grow bags by pushing toothpicks through the holes in the mesh. I like this because it gives me the ability to easily move around anchor points by simply sliding out the toothpicks and moving them where I please. I got the idea from seeing someone else use pushpins once, but I didn't have any on hand. And so, the toothpick hypothesis was born, and so far its working very well! Both ladies look much happier now that they're getting more light to their branches. The leaves on these Blazin' Skywalker plants are just so effing fat that they've been doing a solid job at blocking light to the branches. I tried doing some leaf tucking early on, but the branches just weren't quite long enough for me to properly tuck the leaves behind them and would constantly come un-tucked. She had gotten a bit over watered so I let her go a few extra days between watering. The next morning, she let me know I did the right thing. 💜

"What you get for a bag seed" week - I've stopped using the Nitrogen reach nutrient. Bloomax is 1.7:14:14.5 NPK, by the leaves it seems like they have a slight nutrient burn, so it feels right to reduce nutrients. - I've done some really low stress training on PE, just opened a light space for lower buds And............... - 'I think I saw a pollen sac', indeed suddenly something green appeared on the top part one of BD's biggest colas.... I've decided to use tweezers and get it out - Now I imagine hermis everywhere, I've read about them a bit, mainly looking for images.... Something about PE doesn't feel right. Just spoke to friend and he also thinks PE has many pollen sacs. I'm going to try to save it - problem is I can only see the bastards when I take a picture with extra zoom... at least she's not huge. I guess BD is pollenated by now.... will update..... EDIT: I've transferred PE outside, week 6 of flowering starts today, so I think I'll harvest her in 10 days. She originated in a bag seed, so I'm taking it easy, learning a lot!!!! My first grow is kind of a rehearsal - the feminized seeds arrived couple of weeks ago and I hope to start a new diary soon :)

Week 3: Stacking…

Here we are again ready to start again, always under the sign of Zamnesia, we make our fantastic plants and we show you what we are capable of. We have 5 autoflowering strains and 5 photoperiodic ones and now we present them to you. The fifth and last autoflowering for now of this round that we present to you is another classic of the classics always in the Zamnesia version. We have already grown it once and we sincerely hope to find the purple phenotype, Mythical mythological herb really in music and in everything, WE ARE TALKING To explain my germination method which is a combination of experiences acquired in the field and readings of right advisors, I have chosen to divide it into phases so whoever wants can follow them and understand better step by step. - Preparatory Phase ---- Check the average temperature in the room, humidity status to understand well whether it is the case to start or wait, I decided for the end of August because the temperatures start to drop towards the 22-25 degrees recommended for germination. Then another thing more or less credible depending on the sensitivity is the control of the lunar phases. I believe in it a lot, it is a method that ancient farmers used to understand when it was best to plant depending on the attraction of the moon. To make my life easier I use a simple app that advises you on the right time to plant, harvest and put in a jar (depending on the lunar phases). - Phase 1 --- Soaking in water. There are many authoritative friends who advise against this method due to the risk of drowning, but I have always been fine and I follow the rule if it opens in water almost certainly the seed is healthy and will come out of the ground 90% normally. - Phase 2 --- Opening of the seed in water. As soon as the seed opens and the root comes out a little you have to be very very careful not to leave the seed in water open for too long. This is why there is a risk of drowning. So as soon as the root has come out it must be planted. Do not wait for it to stretch out too much, in the absorbent paper you can wait a little longer in water no. - Phase 3 --- While I soaked the seeds I prepared my pots: I use small biodegradable pots (choose the ones with holes underneath for drainage). A few hours before working with the opened seeds I moistened the soil with water adjusted to the right pH (5.8 - 6.2) and Plagron Power Roots. The small root is now open and we can make a little hole with a toothpick, widen it and insert the seed. Not too deep with the root facing downwards. From Serious Seeds we learned the dome technique: if you put a small dome of soil on the seed the water will settle on the sides avoiding overwatering problems. - Phase 4 --- The plant emerges from the soil. Up to now I have not put the light on, now I turn it on at minimum after half a day of soil to give direction to the seedlings. The first week the light will be gradually brought from 40% to 60% to go to 70% - 75% in the remaining weeks of veg. During the first week maximum, I keep the cycle of 24 hours to avoid stretching.
