Seen some good progress over the last week. Have been tinkering with water cycles. Got it up to 3 x 15min cycles in a 24 hour period, but i think I'm going to go back to two 15min cycles in 24hrs because she seems to wilt a bit in the morning. I'm wondering if the cycle an hour before lights out is too much. I've reset the cycles to 15min an hour after lights on and again 8 hours later for 15 min. I'll see if that improves things. I'm also going to change the reservoir for a fresh batch of water, nutrients and ph balance today or tomorrow. I've also got a sister plant on the go, but she's about a week behind in growth as she germinated later. She's also doing well, but obviously smaller than her big sister.

So this week has been quite eventful. First, for the good news, there has been tons of new growth and the plant has stretched like mad! The buds seem to be fattening up in the last couple of days which is always exciting!! That was the good news lol. The bad news is I found a few pollen sacks on this plant which is really disappointing. I have never run seeds from the breeder I went with this time around and I am chalking this up to weak genetics. I do not have any light leaks and I run a pretty tight and tidy ship on my end so it’s hard to think it was environmental. I pulled off what I found and it appears only one opened 🤦‍♂️ (see pictures). It has been a good 4 days since I have seen any so 🤞 I won’t see anymore. I will keep this plant going but if I wasn’t running a single plant I might pull the plug. Who likes seeds in their final product! 😬😬 Not me!! Bud wet weight : 168,1g of trimmed medium to big sized buds 25,4g of tiny tiny buds/larfs = 193.5 grams of trimmed wet buds. Details on genetics and smoke report above. This, as my first grow, is way more than I ever expected it to be. I haven´t had that much fun and enthusiasm in a very very long time. I can´t even explain the feeling it is to harvest your own cannabis, but I know most of you know what I´m talking about haha. It was really nice to practice LST, even tho it was SO HARD, ´cause I didn´t had barely any space to work since I used a hard pot and did not fill nearly half the size of it and the walls of the pot were really high. It was even difficult to water without dropping water on the lower buds. I haven´t learnt much about defoliation tho, I feel I need to study a little more about the phases you should or should not do it. Also, I discovered thrips are a pain in the ass. I had 2 tough weeks dealing with thrips, but in the end it was alright. I don´t have any humidity control device, which I intend to buy for the next grows. Growdiaries was really helpful for me, it kept me motivated everyday (not that I wouldn´t have had it anyways), the Grow Questions are REALLY useful and all the community is awesome. Thanks to all people that helped me here on GD during this first grow! To conclude it: I am really happy and satisfied with how the grow turned out. They look incredible, it almost feels like I can´t believe it still. Peace. UPDATES: 07/10 : The buds are now dry and already in curing jars, one of them with a Boveda 58% humidity pack. The total grams of the dry buds are: 41.4g (medium to big sized buds) 4.1g (tiny buds) = 45.5 grams! I´m really happy with the results, I thought it would be around 30g so yeah, that´s a really good surprise! In 2 weeks I´ll be back to update the smoke report. Thanks so much for reading! Peace. 09/10 : I managed to fit everything in the same container with some space between them, so now every bud is with the Boveda pack. 14/10: It´s been a week and the smell improved, it still smells a little like hay/plant ( even tho it´s not too dry neither too wet ). 21/10: Now it´s been two weeks and even tho the smell isn´t anymore hay, it´s a lot herbal. I really think the aroma can get better, but the taste is already good enough for me. The smoke report has been done and in case I have something to add, I´ll report here. Doggo update Couple vids sprinkled in here. Love doing slo-mo with frisbee throws and treats catching in their mouth. Slo Mo vids didn’t upload slo mo so I had to go thru and edit them and screen record it just to get them in slow mo on the site but they’re worth it Dukes ear has been bugging him and so he pins it down sometimes with the other ear straight up and he looks goofy as hell.

These are a dream to grow big yield fat buds hopefully nice they just grow big and have a long flowering time I think I had two different phenos one was short and bushy and one was huge and one is really frosty and one is huge budded with little frost they take to basically all training very well did lst extreme lst topping and a bit of bowl training one of the plants was over 6ft too big for my liking they produce very well I think they should yield nicely will be growing this strain again if she smokes as nice as she looks will update when dry ...yield let me down was expecting more lol I think the problem with this grow was I grew too much plant not enough buds couldnt get round to sorting things how I would have liked but happy with the smoke the 297 was shared between 3 so I only have 99g to show dry thanks for reading happy growing guys thanks for following the journey 0

Week 4 of the reveg. And we’re almost there👍. We could flip half the plants to flower now but the others are gonna need another week, maybe 2 before they’re ready. This weeks mostly been about chopp’n out the old buds at the base of the stems and spreading branches. About half of em are still workn on branching while the other half has shown vegetative maturity and remain ready for flower at any time. Kinda predictable - the white widow is again, on beast mode next to the others. Northern lights and SOG Lookn good too. Blueberrys got a little more work to do and the boogie nights still needs to find its way as well. Other than that - the system is still purr’n like a kitten and the plants seem to be loving the Berkana nutes. Hopefully not much longer n the veg. Cycle so that we can finally bring these strains to a full flower close.👍 Background This ones tied to part 2 of the pollen chuck. They were supposed to be a clone run for pollination but the mothers all reveg’d due to a timer incident and high stupidity. These will be the inaugural flowering run of the revamped dutchy system.
