9.07.25. Day 52. Major problem over last week with humidity as my humidity controller went out and I was not keeping an eye on humidity level. I took the controller out and now constantly sucking fresh air into tent with about 50-55 relative humidity. She lost a lot of vegetation. Also high temperatures 🔥 of 35°C or 95°F and is set to continue for next couple of weeks .Hopefully she recovers well. I'm thinking to move grow from loft to bedrooms where it is cooler.

In der fünften Blütewoche zeigt sich der Erfolg des Scroggens deutlich. Die Pflanze hat das Netz vollständig durchwachsen, und die Blüten verteilen sich gleichmäßig über die gesamte Fläche. Um die Stabilität der immer schwerer werdenden Blüten sicherzustellen, habe ich zusätzliche Netze aufgehängt. Außerdem habe ich die Beleuchtung von 400 Watt auf 720 Watt erhöht, um den Blüten noch mehr Energie zuzuführen und das Wachstum weiter zu fördern. Die Ergebnisse sind bereits sichtbar, mit dichten und kraftvollen Blütenständen, die sich vielversprechend entwickeln.

So, die Bestäubung hat nun stattgefunden. Zur Bestäubung habe ich jeweils einen kleinen Trieb mit Pollensäcken, in Luftstillen Bedingungen, vorsichtig in eine Plastiktüte fallen lassen. Von dort habe ich jeweils mit einem neuen Pinsel etwas Pollen entnommen, und wie im Video zu sehen auf die Stempel aufgebracht. Natürlich kann man nie zu 100% sagen, dass nicht doch etwas Pollen dort landet, wo er nicht hinkommen soll, aber mehr ist nicht möglich bei der kleinen Pflanze. Ich gehe auch nicht davon aus, dass sie noch wirklich weiter in die Höhe wachsen wird. Ich freue mich schon sehr auf die F1. Vor allem weil die kleine jetzt schon so riecht, wie ich es gewohnt bin. Ich bin sehr gespannt, was am Ende dabei herauskommt. Die Blueberry's werden nun auch entsorgt, weil ich die nicht mehr brauche. Ein wenig Pollen wird aber trotzdem noch eingefroren.

Die Woche verlief sehr angenehm für die Rainbow Road. Angenehme Temperaturen tagsüber, nachts schon mal runter bis auf 14°C. Sie ist mit 13 cm in der Woche gut gewachsen, obwohl ich die Stickstoffdüngug mit Vinasse reduziert habe (Mir geht der Dünger aus, Scherz.. 😉). Wegen eines angekündigten Gewitters, das dann doch nicht besonders intensiv verlief, habe ich sie besser verschnürt um ein Abbrechen von Zweigen zu verhindern. Da ich glaube an den unteren Blätter ein paar mineralische Defizite zu erkennen, habe ich einerseits mit Seetangextrakt und Bittersalz als schnelle Maßnahme die Blätter besprüht und am Ende der Woche auch ein wenig mit Bittersalz (Epsom Salt) gegossen. Ich mache das zum ersten Male überhaupt und hoffe dass ich es nicht übertrieben habe und keine Verbrennungen auftreten. Ein Esslöffel auf 5 l Wasser. Nächste Woche kommt die Ausrüstung zur Erstellung von Komposttee (eine kleine Druckluftpumpe und das passende Rohr zur Umwälzung). Das soll viele, viele Mikroben aus meinem Wurmkompost vermehren und sich fleissig am Pflanzenwachstum und deren Gesundheit beteiligen. Es ist eine Neuheit für mich, wenigstens wird der Wurmkompost hier sinnvoll verbraucht. Etwas Humus vom Boden der Benjeshecke kommt auch noch rein. Und es wird Zeit für ein Top Layer in den Töpfen mit Hornmehl, Rinderdungpellets, Wurmkompost und etwas Erde. Es wird Bilder und Blubbervideos geben. Meow! Week 4 is upon us! We adjusted her ties this week and removed a few of the larger top fans..her color is nice and uniform..her bud development looks closer to week 3 than 4 but she'll probably start plumping quick in the next week..we lost half of our flower lighting for most the week, we use a dual 315watt and one side of the ballast had a short..we remedied this and ordered another 315watt CMH..now that we have more light than we need, moving from a 4ft an 8ft flowering tent may be in our future... thank for reading and happy growing 🐱 7/12/21- light defoliation thru the center to base and removed some large fans from the top of the main stems

Nothing new to report. The camera I have is t HD, but the friend I have checking everything thinks I should flushing #1 in a week or two and #2 is only a little behind. I’ll be back home on Day 70, so I know they should be near time for the big chop. This is absolutely not how I expected my first grow to go as I planned to be home (and in country) most of the time. But two of three plants going strong is better than I expected.

Es sieht so aus als ob die schon im Stretch sind/waren da ich heute gemessen habe und die immer noch bei 146cm sind 🤔 hmmmm Zucker und Kelp aufs auge Zucker nur bisschen Kelp bisschen mehr 14.07.26 Heute Letzter Tag der Veg morgen leite ich die Blüte ein ich bin gespannt wie der Balkon in ein paar Wochen aussieht

Hi Growmies, I feel I had a root issue, may have even been root rod. So as I saw a few of the very deeply submerged roots turning brownish and decay, I decided to generously cut away the affected areas and cleaned everything with hydrogen peroxide as good as I could and then properly rinsed the whole system. It seems, however, like she has started a whole new set of roots that started to submerge after I started feeding the orca from plant success (can be seen in the video below). Can highly recommend this product! She has also not show any signs of stress due the suspected root issues. Other than that she is a super pretty indica lady :) almost crazy how symmetrical she is. I have trained all main colas horizontally until the canopy had evenly opened up. Now I will let her grow towards the scrog and depending on her stretch, I will flip her at some point towards the middle or end of next week. This was a lot of fun. Looking forward to growing more like this one. **Update** Total dry weight was 2.6 oz (74g). The buds were a little airier than the Tangie'Matic, not as tight/dense. Placed dried buds in mason jars with Boveda 62rh packs. Will be opening the jars daily for the next couple of weeks to cure. So far it tastes nice, I can taste some mint, but mostly just nice tasting overall. Will update the taste again after further curing.

day 15: flowers start to appear day 16-17: temps go 24 celcius, i throw ice bottles in the res day 25: insane stretch stops flowers fatten up, even crystals around the young budz.

Well I'm sad and excited at the same time. Sad they got chopped but happy to see what all my work and dedication was for that sweet sweet marijuana. I know I'm just a beginner but damn with these genetics and love it is truly shocking what they can do in such a short time frame.

[ Introduction ] Welcome to my first ever grow journal! I have been growing medically for the past couple years, documenting some of my grows on my Facebook and Instagram (@OnlyTomatoes) pages, as well as several cannabis cultivation subreddits. I've found that I do a lot of things differently than other growers, so I'd like to share a full cycle publicly in case I have the answers to somebody's questions. [ Updates ] Day 4 - Lights have been lowered to 18 inches off canopy, dimmed to 25%. They've recovered from both their transplant and their topping, new growth looks almost perfect. I'm going to keep the accidental sunflowers for a few more days and see if there's any significant difference between plants. They all received a foliar spray of neem, kelp, and a bit of calmag before lights off yesterday. I expect to be able to remove the remaining damaged leaves by the end of this week. Day 7 - Lights increased to 30%, C02 increased to 800ppm, getting ready for week 2 of veg. Fed today, fairly low EC (<1.5) blend of Silica, Calcium, Kelp, Molasses, and Tribus Grow in a mixture of R/O and tap water. Very little runoff at 1gal per pot. Will most likely foliar again before lights off with a light fish hydrolysate mixture to help with any nitrogen issues. Any dead or dying leaves you see are from pre-transplant, I'm just waiting a few days longer for the existing rootballs' ph levels to swing back to a healthy range before removing all that unsightly growth. I'm really not sure when I'm going to remove the sunflowers growing in some of the pots, I've seen no negative effects yet. I could flip group 1 into flower if I wanted, the canopy is level and beautiful, however group 2 will take a while longer to fill a canopy. Normally I would never allow pre-veg plants to have such obvious deficiencies, but constant hand watering led to some poor nutrient decisions on my part. They've been in their final pots for a few days now and were topped on day 0 of veg. I plan on lowering the lights to 18"-24" within canopy around day 3, I'm just allowing some extra time for the roots to really dig in. I've found that a batch of dirt that was used had sunflower seeds in it, possibly winter food storage from an outside rodent, so I'm debating how long I will let these sunflower seedlings grow alongside my plants. They do make a good cover crop with amazing root systems, I just don't think that really applies in pots of this size where plants can choke each other out.
