🌱 🤓 Spent this week keeping up with hefty defoliation and canopy maintenance. Two separate rounds of defoliation occurred this week, the last round included the removal of any branches that were growing. In the underbrush who had not yet made it to the surface of the canopy. Branches that hang out in the underbrush contribute to poor air flow while simultaneously sucking energy from the plant. I don't want my plant wasting energy on poor producing branches, so they gotta go! I also made sure to try and remove the same branches on all new mains as to keep the plant as symmetrical as possible. ✌️💜🌱

I may be slowing her growth by having her in a small but...However, she looks healthy and that is the most important part of the grow process.

She was great! Besides getting nice nugs to smoke, I made canna coconut oil, then I made chocolates, then I made brownies, then I made brownies with large chocolate chunks. The munchies have been great to say the least 🍫. I try to make something each harvest, having some smoke is good enough, but being dedicated to the cause & community I feel obligated to do everything in my power to explore all these girls have to offer. I could not afford to explore if I didn’t grow so it’s a no-brainer

8/28/2022 - 21 days since my little girl sprouted from seeds🌱 The third week of vegetation of my Mandarina XL 🍊🍊🌻 Nutrients: Jungle Indabox - I had to adjust the dosage, after the first dose of nutrients, the lower leaves of the plant lightened a bit, this was especially visible on her sister Orange Sherbet Auto, which burned the tips of the lower leaves - after this week I reduced the dose by half 🍃🍃 Hesi: Hesi Root Complex I give this root stimulator for root support, although Jungle Indabox also supports root growth, namely: Jungle Urban A - (N-P-K) - (2-1-6) Everything for healthy growth and formation of the root system Atami - ATA Calmag - I missed completely Advanced Nutrients - Bud Candy - I also adjusted the dosage by half 🍬🍬 Pre-flowering: This week the classic white hairs indicating the female gender appeared on the stem 👩‍🌾👧🏼 Light: Mars Hydro TS1000 - really great lamp with sufficient lighting and energy-friendly 💡💡 Training: Topping: I usually top in the third week of the plant's life, just like this time. However, now the girls are very advanced in growth, so they will have more main branches 🌴🌴 LST: Two days after topping, I anchored the lowest branches to the ground with metal clips, tied the higher branches with a string towards the edges of the flower pot, so that the light would shine on each of them 💡💡 Defoliation: In the next two days, I cut off all the large leaves that were shading the branches 🌞🌞 The girl is no longer a child, she is a strong young lady, full of branches and leaves. Its color has also changed, it is now deep green again. The stem is coarse, so I assume a strong root system. Day 29 29/07/24 Monday Nice feeding today with De-chlorinated tap water pH 6. Gave her 300 ml and she had a small run off. Getting chunky in the stem now 💪💚 Day 31 31/07/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated water pH 6 today with Plagron pk13-14 5ml to 5L Plagron power buds 5ml to 5L Used 300ml of the 5L solution. I will be using these on water days from now on as they are advised to be used every irrigation. We'll see how they perform 💪💚 Day 32 01/08/24 Thursday Another feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6, there now taking 300ml every evening. Day 35 04/08/24 Sunday END OF WEEK 😁 De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 today with Plagron products. 300ml each. Had a issue with leaf invaders this week, I have treated and am checking every 48 hrs so far seems ok and not progressive. All plants look great, very healthy, one of the Overdose is way behind and due to space maybe culled at flower I'll see how she gets on.

Gave them water on Wednesday at 6.4ph distilled water. Began having issues with ac in my house. Temps got up to 81° and humidity rose to 60%. Been sitting around 75° and 50% humidity. On sunday they were ready for water again. My wife changed out the fish tank water on saturday, so i used 20% ratio of old tank water to distilled water and adjusted ph to 6.1. They are starting to take off and develop nodes quickly, now.

So this week was the first week of flowering! 😊 lovely. She has stretched just a little bit and will expect some further stretching. Quite glad of this as my green house is quite short. Weather has been colder and slightly damper this week so she probably hasn’t been at optimal conditions. Gave her Some extra vegetation and bloom to help through this transitions. Also added a nice scoop of BatGuano to ensure she has enough P in the near future.

Lots of smells have become their own... The fried banana has this crazy skunk smell with a real earth dirt smell once the skunk fades... The orange cake NO kidding, smells like a fresh peeled orange and some kind of batter smell... It's nuts... The big Z has the immediate Skittles blast with a earthy afternote... And the paint is just like the last one and smells real chemical like! When u say the name it makes u smell the paint... Is that just me???? Hahaha anyways... Thats what I got .. everything is going amazing and for day 37 I think they've filled out real nice... Now hopefully they fatten up in the next 20-30 days!!!!

18.10.2024 very humid and little sun on the west side 21.10.2024 day 187 Beautiful sunny day, then powdery mildew discovered and started the 3rd harvest.

14.1.25: I've been readjusting the LST. I just took all the pegs out and reshaped her. I got some new LST equipment in the mail today, have been glad to have more pegs. I got some clips too, but they don't seem to stay on 😕 I'm currently only using the pegs, I have some thicker soft wire, but I forgot I don't have pliers to cut it! Also I'm running very low on Biobizz nutrients, so that could be bad 🤞 18.1.25: I have done another large defoliation on PPP1 and PPP2. Also, moderate defoliation on all other plants today. All LST ties and pegs are readjusted. I have turned up the light to 90%. Same distance of between 24-28 inches, depending on height of specific plant. I have increased the dosage of Biobizz Bio-Grow and Fish Mix to give an extra boost of Nitrogen as several plants were showing yellowing. They have responded very well to this. Unfortunately I ran out of my Biobizz nutrients and PH UP. I'm currently using Bicarbonate of Soda to increase the PH after the nutes PH comes out to about 4.1. Obviously, that uses a lot and I only had a 250ml bottle, which I used last run too. This run I have 9 plants. The only thing I'm worried about is the salt build up. Have you used it before? Or any other natural way to increase PH? Please let me know! I've also added Biobizz Fish Mix to help with the extra Nitrogen needed. Watering with 1ltr of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 with the following nutrients;- ♡ 4ml Biobizz Fish Mix ♡ 4ml Biobizz Bio-Grow ♡ 2ml Biobizz Bloom ♡ 2ml Biobizz Top Max ♡ 2ml Cal-Mag ♡ 2ml Ecothrive Flourish. I water with this every 3 days. I did order some more Biobizz Bio-Grow and Bio Bloom. I found some at a reasonable price on Amazon. I still have about 800 ml of Biobizz Fish Mix left, too. It is fairly expensive this time as the plants are hungrier this run. I also got a new bag of Canna coco, which I may use to add a top dress with some dry amendments. Which hopefully will save some cash on the bottled nutrients and stretch out until the end of this run without having to buy anymore. I have purchased a funnel to pour the water. It is difficult, due to the shape of my LST, to water precisely. I have spilt it all over the tent several times 🙄 I've also ordered a 2 litre jug. Currently, I'm mixing water for 9 plants individually in a 1 litre jug. It's tideous. Hopefully, this will solve the issues. Great flowers with beautiful colors! Smells of sweet oranges and grapefruit sour grape woody spicy chem aromas and tastes of earthy sweetness with a hint of citrus.

As expected, the girl grows well, the flowers enlarge, the resin appears and the girl smells wonderful. I'm running it all the time, she still has plenty of time. 😉

First attempt LST tie down stems on Gelato 41. I decided to try lst on Gelato 41 since she charged out of the gate full force and was taller than the other sprouts. From the side view, the node structure is very close. I thought since she was shooting up so quickly, there would be more space between them. Week4 I was using thin wire pins for the last. I had to switch to 1/2 garden pins to hold down the stems. As you can see she is very short and bushy. The tight node Structive is indicative of indica dominance. Lots of leaves. Looks like an afro hair do. Pic 5/24, 5/27, 6/2. Put mirrors under the canopy to add more light 6/5. Start week 5 water feed. Check pins as her stems are strong and push the pins up. 6/7 water & feed 6/9 water & feed 6/11 water & feed 6/13 water & feed light deformation 6/16 1 gal flush Gelato 41 She's the last gal in the tent to start flower. Nothing yet. 6/25 pics 6/26 took her out of the tent today and put her outside. She is one of my Afro girls. I See flowers today. 2 months after the seed popped the soil. I thought she was an auto but maybe fast photo. I will say that she is very bushy. Because of the LST, she has an even canopy with at least 20 or more tops. 7/9 pics. She has acclimated to outside very well. It's hot and humid and we have had lots of rain. Her colas have shot up in bud formation. This plant has thin leaves.much different from most other strains I've grown 7/12 more pics showing LST tie down and bud development 7/22 more pics 7/30 outside girls.
