Week 5 flower going well. Nothing much to report. Increased the drip as she is taking in more water. Turned up the fans to 100% for maximum flow, and due to that, the tent got a bit warmer and a bit dryer so the exhaust fan and humidifier are working a bit harder. 75-77 deg F, 50-60% RH. Not sure if the lights are to intense or if it’s purple coming through, but at the highest tops there seems to be a bit of discolouration on the newest growth, just at the tips of the new buds. But I’m looking really close and it may be purple, not brown. I’ll keep an eye on it and turn the lights down if symptoms worsen. This plant is growing strong and getting chunky. Hopefully she keeps growing well until the end. Thanks for the views…keep calm and grow on!

Bueno , este es el segundo cultivo que realizó del la cepa "Waka" , el anterior lo tengo igualmente documentado en otro diario . en esta ocasión cultivamos los clones que habíamos recolectado del cultivo pasado , guardando los fenotipos que nos gustaron más y los clones restantes los pasamos a floración que fueron los que se le hizo seguimiento en este diario. El crecimiento fue bastante explosivo y reaccionaron muy bien a cada trasplante realizado . pude observar que los clones de cada fenotipo seleccionado se desarrolló con mucha similitud al de sus madres . El olor en vegetación es bastante discreto y en floración se pone un más intenso El desarrollo en floración fue explosivo generando bastante resina y se vieron muy hambientras . Al fumar se puede sentir un rico toque cítrico en las N° 4 se siente un fuerte sabor a limón en algunas flores mucho mas marcado que en otras, N° 3 y 13 un agradable toque a naranjas muy rico de sentir en el paladar , La N° 8 con pizcas dulces bastante interesantes. El humo al fumar es muy suave lo que permite sentir mejor el sabor de cada fenotipo.- saludos y buenos humos😉 Al momento de cosechar se cortaron los clone y se dejo secando en oscuridad a temperatura ambiente por cerca de 16 días posterior a eso se pasó a curar en frascos

Nearing the finish line! OMG these ladies are blowing me away 😳 the Tricomes are carpeted, the buds are fat and dense. I’ve been. Tapering off all the nutrients and feeding ph’d water until I get 10-15% runoff from the pot to help break up the pockets left behind and to use up what’s left in the plant. Have some very distinct phenos, all of them are stellar but there are a few standouts… won’t be much longer 🇨🇦👊❤️

7th of May Day 59 day 11 of 12/12 4 plants are looking healthy the stretch has started and and the canopy is starting to get a bit dense I may rom I’ve some large fan leaves on day 14 of 12/12 to give better airflow and allow for the lower growth to get more light, I can picture the colas already 😁🍁 ppm still going in at 650 ph 6.5, i top dressed each plant with fish blood and bone mean 3 table spoons to each 3gal pot on day 1 of flower

Week five all the plants are doing great. They all grew think upwards of 10 inches this week. Had a little problem with leafhoppers bought me seed meal and name seed oil hopefully that will fix leap poppers problem. All the girls are doing a great fifth week in soil excited to see next week..

This plant was a pleasure to grow, with cola buds dense and encrusted, and a problem free first grow. Seem to have gotten an OG dominant pheno with nice gelato hints of flavor and color; the citrus zest may or may not come out in the finished product, for me it is faint. Hope to grow this strain again in the future, definitely head-stash potential so my remaining steeds will be going in the vault. I let it hang dry a bit too long, but they’re currently a week into the cure at about 59% RH. My next grow will probably be the same set up, but improving on it with the experience I’ve gained through this process. I hit my 10 Oz total yield goal I’m pretty satisfied with my techniques and strain choice. Get this strain if you want an easy, high potency indica with impressive yields and good flavor. I’ll also be dry sifting the (tons of) sugar covered trim from both of the plants to press into resin, so I encourage y’all to take advantage of all that the plant provides. Cheers

Week went again very uneventful. The plant does what she is supposed to be doing (gaining weight) :). Still lots of new pistils appearing overnight, I am checking the Trichomes daily, however, everything remains milky, with only very little % of amber trichomes. Once amber colours start increasing I will start flushing.

Well this little tester has out grown her sisters by quite alot in its development , she is much larger and bigger leaves than the others and looks like she is really reaching for the stars and has had nothing more than fresh water until this week

Fastbuds Week 4 Original OG Kush Auto The 3 of these are staying on the shorter/bushier side. All in all showing amazing growth, good node spacing, and a nice rich shade of green while showing no issue of nute burn. I've given only water up to this point so around week 4 I like to give them a good feeding of a molasses tea (1tsp of molasses/per gallon of water) is what I do and they seem to enjoy it. Have had some challenges this week. In my lack of experience, I have struggle to discern whether my plant is deficient in nutrients, suffering lockout or approaching harvest. Symptoms were yellowing leaves... The cause of which can be, of course, many different things. I decided to flush last week, thinking that a nutrient lockout was most likely. Leaves less yellow this week so think it may have done the trick. I have spent some time researching and considering flushing as a technique to improve final bud quality. I have decided that there simply isn't enough evidence to deny my girl of nutrients at a critical phase of her growth. I am therefore continuing a reduced feeding schedule of - 1mls topmax - 2mls BioBloom - 1 scoop biosys ecothrive - 2.5mls Cannazym. And, unless indicated otherwise, will continue with this schedule up until harvest. Today I have tested PPM of the run off and measure it to be approx 1050ppm. I will measure again in 24 hours to monitor change after a feed. Purchased a 60x microscope and am able to see that 90% of trichomes are still clear. I am therefore anticipating at least another couple of weeks before harvest. Buds look fluffier than I'd like, but resin and trichome production haven't disappointed. I'm hoping that over the next few weeks the buds will continue to fatten. 19/11/2021 - Day 79. Have a few days off so have managed to catch some photos in day light. Have also uploaded a video. Feel that she isn't particularly happy... But on the other hand, she is showing the resistance and ability to adapt to less than ideal growing conditions; as promised by the strain genetics. Plenty of trichs, plenty of resin, plenty of buds. Just need them to fatten and fill out for maximum yield and quality. 23/11/21 - Day 83 - Still some deficiencies but she doesn't seem to be using much water so reluctant to feed at risk of overwatering. Noticing lots of new pistil formation. Looking frosty, but all trichomes still clear. Temperatures dropping to around 2°c overnight here. Managing to maintain temperatures around 10°c in the shed. Appreciate that this is too cold for growth but she seems to be coping with it well. I think that a gradual reduction in temperature has been tolerated better than fluctuant or sudden drops would be. Fingers crossed that her hardy nature keeps her strong. Fed today: 1mls BioBloom 2mls Topmax Half scoop Biosys Ecothrive Filtered water - pH 6.5, TDS 320 Run off 953 TDS 29/11/21 - Day 90 - no sign of any amber yet. Still mostly clear with a splattering of cloudy. Really worrying about the night time temps now and holding out hope that it doesn't die off before the trichomes mature.
