Nature uses: Mass Flow (Barometric Pumping): This refers to the bulk movement of air through soil pores caused by pressure differences. Fluctuations in barometric pressure (high and low pressure fronts) and wind speed over the surface create these pressure differentials, which can force air in or out of the soil. This is how soil "breathes" so to speak. Barometric pressure fluctuations can cause day-to-day variations in gas emissions by a factor of 20 to 35 times, a dynamic response that highlights its importance in the overall carbon cycle. Indoor growers use: Negative pressure can replicate the effects of barometric pumping by creating pressure differentials that induce air to flow in and CO2 and nitrogen out in a controlled manner. Carbon dioxide is released by microorganisms when they eat sugars, when there is no mass flow in a cycle/system where microorganisms are releasing CO2 from eating sugars, the CO2 accumulates in the medium, leading to several significant effects: cut a long story short, the lack of mass flow prevents essential gas exchange, causing the waste product (CO2) to become a self-inhibiting factor that limits the microbial activity and can eventually kill the organisms. Huge yield of sticky buds, took 12 weeks from seed and filled a full 1.2m tent. Needed quite a bit of maintenance so happy to reach harvest day. Ran simple nutrients, slight foxtailing at the end, but most buds in the net are around 100g each plus ( and the net is full! and still a whole plant hanging with fat buds👍

19.1.25: I have watered all plants with 300ml of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3, with 1/3 jar of black strap molasses with Ecothrive Biosys-1g. I am looking to increase the sugars for microbial life and plant processes. It'll also add some extra Calcium, Magnesium and trace elements. I also, watered all plants with Bloom nutrients. Using dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 with the following nutrients: (ml/l) ;- ♡ 2ml Cal-Mag ♡ 2ml Ecothrive Flourish ♡ 2ml Xpert Nutrients Bloom Booster ♡ 2ml Biobizz Bloom ♡ 2ml Biobizz Top Max ♡ 1g of Ecothrive Biosys I watered around 1-3 litres per plant. Depending on size and requirements. I'm still spilling water containing the nutrient solution. 🙄 I am using this to rub into the leaves. I think a nice foliar massage won't do any harm, make the most of the situation. The plants have become very hungry and thirsty. Increased the water by double. I ran out of my TNC cal-mag. I decided to order the Xpert Nutrients brand, as I like their products. It isn't organic as far as I can tell, but I don't think it matters too much to me, to be honest. I also want to top dress this week, so I bought some Green Leaf PK bud Booster dry amendment from Amazon, too. I'll mix it with canna coco, perlite, worm castings, and Ecothrive Life Cycle. 24.1.25: I went ahead and top dressed all the plants with 4.5 gallons of my supersoil custom mix. 11/05: another week on autopilot. They look like they could use a slight defoliation, but i haven't had a chance to get in there and do it. Will get it taken care of sometime this week. There has been a noticeable growth in flowers this week. No signs of any purple outside of some stems. These look and smell exactly like OG Kush. And that is not what i was expecting at all. I am personally not a fan of OG Kush and so I am really hoping for some significant changes over the next few weeks. If i were growing OG Kush, i would be thrilled with the results. They are growing plump quickly and getting insanely frosty very early - also something that all the OG Kush i have grown does. Alas I am not growing OG Kush, these are what FastBuds told me were Purple Lemonade, and based on all of their marketing material, this is not what I should be seeing or smelling. And im unhappy about that.

Day 39: Things are going well. Did add some sticks to support some plants. Because I put many plants per m2, stems and branches are weaker as when only having a few plants per m2. Those will have a nicer expose from the airfans. Because of a compact cantopy,with lots of plants per m2, mine are''lazy'' and don't get much wind. So they didn't invest much in growing thick and having strong branches. There will be no problem with that since they will support each other and I will be using many sticks. - I have to adjust my fans again, they have to be putted higher. - Some plants that I didn't top, stretched alot lol. Might have to find a spot for them together under the same lamp. Might update again at the end of this week if I feel like too. See y'all next week.

Hey everyone! 👋 It's week 9 and the girls have really impressed me! 😵 The plant that's on the back of the tent (or the one closer to the timelapse video) was the most troubled one of the two (long leave stems, tons of branches, their leaves weren't very strong) but this week something happened and she stretched a lot, it was shocking! Perhaps she was stunned or something was affecting her? No idea but she even responded really well to the defoliation I did! (and to be clear, I did a lot of defoliation 😝). Her sister on the other hand was just developing well and it's clear she's a little more ahead. One important thing that I realized this week (and I completely forgot) is that these plants are autos and their flowering phase is shorter compared to the ones from a normal feminized plant. So regardless of which plant might be ahead of the other I decided to start feeding both of them (not full dose!) with my NP nutrients. Hopefully both will receive them well! And that's all for now. Week 8 flower, watering until the end. No more top dressing or fish shit. Just the same de chlorinated tap water, not ph’d or filtered that I’ve been using since the beginning. Comes out the tap with a ph of 7 and less than 15ppm tds. The soil takes care of everything.
