Welcome to week 3 of veg. They’ve been growing about 1” per day lately. I’m planning to SCROG these three girls with a portable scrog screen. Supplies arrive today and I’m anxious to test this. (Note that my portable scrog screen didn’t work, so I’m using a 2x4 stretch screen). So far the self watering feeders are working well. The reservoir ph does tend to climb, so I make regular adjustments by adding RO water to the nutrient mix and using ph down. The PPM of the nutrients is climbing too, so adding RO dilutes that. As an example, it had climbed from 925 ppm to 1080 ppm overnight. I diluted it back down to 880 ppm. Saturday: installed scrog net Sunday: checked reservoir ph (6.4) and ppm (970). Added ph down. Adjusted scrog net. Discoloration in leaves appears to be worsening. Waiting for a new dehumidifier to arrive. With all of the humidity that the fiber pots put off, I’m going to need a dehumidifier in flower. Monday: ran pipes for humidifier, heater and dehumidifier through a different tent outlet. I’m ready to start dehumidifying at flower flip. Removed humidifier since I won’t need it until after the harvest (I dry in my tent ideally). Topped off reservoir water with a heavy emphasis on CalMag. Reservoirs are at a ph of 6.0 and 750ppm. Lowered ppm due to start of burnt leaf tips on one plant. Wednesday. Lowered ph in reservoir from 6.4 to 6.1 with ph down and diluted nutrients. Lowered ppm from 780 to 700. Removed growth below the SCROG net. Adjusted lighting to a DLI of 35 which proved too intense for the plants, so I backed it down to 30 DLI. Thursday: wrapped up the week by giving them a foliar spray after lights went out. Feeding 5ml/g or CalMag and 30ml/g of Seaweed Extract. Topped off reservoirs using 6ml/g of micro, 9ml/g of Bloom, Seaweed and 2ml CalMag.

Starting week 7 flower

5th week of flower everything still looking good. Nugs getting bigger. 9/8 Middle of week 5 some of the buds are starting to flower and just thc everywhere. Will have plenty of trimmings for concentrates. Still wondering about the yield??? But see a little burn on edges of leaves. Probably go water only anyway cause still have organic toil soils working. Smells so good!! Last day of week 5 looks amazing so much THC everywhere. Looking forward to them fattening up in next week or two.

she in her second week ... of flowering ... she has a weak smell yet ... but her buds begin to take shape outdoor ... we will see what she offers us in the future ... the substrate is made by me ... and its feeding began the 1 week of flowering with earthworm humus .. red guano and fishbowl water ...

She is very frosty and smells like candies. Nice color and the trichomes are passing from clear to milky.

Day 126. Really day 90 from seed, part of Control Garden. Amazing how they Bulk, 3 weeks of veg only, crazy strain ! If i ever wanted anything from this strain, she was like "Let's do it ! " 8 sisters were amazing, now i used last two biggest beans and those had no training, no light, nothing, but went into absolute overdrive smells amazing, branches hard to hold while trimming ... Love them, maybe this time taste will be better, different nutes used ... Its so funny to hear branches slowly bending and cracking under own weight with no support left ... Amazing sound for grower ;)) Control Garden is an absolute success even with Strawberries hermie part .. Cure day. 250 g total. Insane for 3 weeks veg, one cola lost to budrot, no direct light and early harvest which led to a bit airy Monster Bulk buds, she could make 150 easy without budrot and one more week of flower ... Will update on night shift ;) Day Unknown. Decided to try out finally last girls for diary records, but ... After a month of intense cure buds got angly/pyramid type forms ... ????? Any idea ? First two weeks moved at least twice a day.

Bud wet weight : 168,1g of trimmed medium to big sized buds 25,4g of tiny tiny buds/larfs = 193.5 grams of trimmed wet buds. Details on genetics and smoke report above. This, as my first grow, is way more than I ever expected it to be. I haven´t had that much fun and enthusiasm in a very very long time. I can´t even explain the feeling it is to harvest your own cannabis, but I know most of you know what I´m talking about haha. It was really nice to practice LST, even tho it was SO HARD, ´cause I didn´t had barely any space to work since I used a hard pot and did not fill nearly half the size of it and the walls of the pot were really high. It was even difficult to water without dropping water on the lower buds. I haven´t learnt much about defoliation tho, I feel I need to study a little more about the phases you should or should not do it. Also, I discovered thrips are a pain in the ass. I had 2 tough weeks dealing with thrips, but in the end it was alright. I don´t have any humidity control device, which I intend to buy for the next grows. Growdiaries was really helpful for me, it kept me motivated everyday (not that I wouldn´t have had it anyways), the Grow Questions are REALLY useful and all the community is awesome. Thanks to all people that helped me here on GD during this first grow! To conclude it: I am really happy and satisfied with how the grow turned out. They look incredible, it almost feels like I can´t believe it still. Peace. UPDATES: 07/10 : The buds are now dry and already in curing jars, one of them with a Boveda 58% humidity pack. The total grams of the dry buds are: 41.4g (medium to big sized buds) 4.1g (tiny buds) = 45.5 grams! I´m really happy with the results, I thought it would be around 30g so yeah, that´s a really good surprise! In 2 weeks I´ll be back to update the smoke report. Thanks so much for reading! Peace. 09/10 : I managed to fit everything in the same container with some space between them, so now every bud is with the Boveda pack. 14/10: It´s been a week and the smell improved, it still smells a little like hay/plant ( even tho it´s not too dry neither too wet ). 21/10: Now it´s been two weeks and even tho the smell isn´t anymore hay, it´s a lot herbal. I really think the aroma can get better, but the taste is already good enough for me. The smoke report has been done and in case I have something to add, I´ll report here. What up fam, weekly update on these lovely ladies. They're growing great so far. Seeing new upwards growth and new leafs with zero signs of deficiency. I started adding 2ml per gallon of the Athena Grow A & B and 2ml of General Hydroponics CalMag this week to see how they respond and all in all its been Happy Growing.

Great week overall-5 Gallons PH water every 72 hours. Added Beneficial microbes and Molasses to feed them is all. Due to new trich development she remains about 50 percent cloudy. Time will tell.

Hello This is the end of week 10 and the beginning of week 11 of veg. The plant is doing good. It's got a couple of bottom fanleaves going yellow. Going to have to take clones of this one before it flowers. It's quite sticky with the rub test. I let the paper Wasps live in a smaller greenhouse that have my cactus in it. They are very good for the garden bringing back lots of pests to the nest to feed their young. They are not very aggressive and mainly just stick to themselves. I can go in and out of that greenhouse and not get stung. They just fly around me. Fun to watch. OK. Be Great. Chuck.
