June 21st : Figured I started off last week with a video update So i'd do the same this week. Buds are really fattening up. Making my mouth water when I stare at them. Smell is very strong when the exhaust is off and the tent open. Getting Hot around here lately 106 outside today. Trying my best to keep them cool but it seems like a losing battle. Good thing I have that co2 tank. 🙌 June 22nd : Decided to try out my Digital Microscope tonight see what I could see. WOW am I going to have fun doing Macro Shot's! This is gonna be so much fun! Nothing else done with the plants except some admiration! June 23rd : Didn't have time to get to pictures darn real life. June 24th : Watered tonight as they were showing signs of drooping from under-watering. I expected as much due to the recent 106-111F. Temps around my area lately. Hard to keep them all cool but trying my best. Everything's looking good as far as I can tell. 👌 June 25th : Tried my hand at more closeups boy was it a failure. Gotta turn off those damn fans next time *lol* 3 out of like 40 clicks were "ok". Oh well.. Another day.. June 26th : Had the breaker for the room my tent was in keep tripping after adding the t5 lights to everything that's already on the same circuit.. had to move the ac to another circuit. June 27th : Ended up bumping the timer switch on the lights to always on and ended up giving the girls 18 hours of light. 😭 Praying nothing goes hermie.. Didn't have time for pics the last two nights as I've had previous obligations.

9/10 Went and shook the plants off. I don't think it rained. I think it's just dew. Plants with ailments seem to be progressing well and it looks like they'll outrun the pathogens. It may not be a banner year yield wise but the quality will be great it looks like. GMO is stacking up real nice. The ones in further flower are swelling more and more everyday. Earwigs MAY be back because I noticed a couple of plants where I left a tiny little branch on the bottom have been lollipopped on tje sherb pie and rather quickly too. I suppose it could be leaves dieing and rotting bit I doubt it. If they are here there aren't many and most plants are too far in flower for them to bother. They eat the lower newly developing shoots. Not big dense buds. Luckily. I noticed some pm on the gmo with pm. Looks like it's time for another treatment of k bicarb. I'll probably do that tonight. I'll keep this updated. WENT BACK OVER AND DEFOLIATED A BUNCH OF STUFF. ITS TIME FOR ANOTHER APP OF K BICARB. I CHECKED THE SHERB PIE AND IT DOESNT NEED TO BE WATERED. IT WAS STILL VERY HEAVY. If IT IS ear wigs they are impossible to fight. I put poison down and d.e. around those plantscand we'll see. It could also be rot from dying leaves. I need to treatcsome of the plants with a longer flowering time with plant doctor. I'm going over today to spend a few hours working in the garden. I'll apply something I just don't know WHAT yet. I had to cut a couple small interior secondary branches on my shottiest GMO due to the appearance of grey mold. I also found some botrytis in both the event horizon and toasted toffy that I plan to take the tops of today. I scoped them and I'm planning to do a staged harvest. Trichs are milky with some amber. Everything is blowing up! I'm not sure what's happening but like it previous years there's a couple plants with leaves dieing near bud sites and an overall yellow appearance. Maybe it's late stage septoria. I cant isolate it due to local laws but if I have to I'll deal with it. Nothing else had anything like that. I hace noticed SOMETHING nocturnal that can eat a small branch and leave it bare. Also eat the small newly forming shoots at the bottom of plants. I shouldve taken off ALL the larfy stuff as it draws bugs but I did things a like different with each plant this year. I'm going to go through the plants again today and I'll update what I decide. Chances are the top half of those two plants are coming down. I'll do a video. 9/15 I'll have to add pics and videos tomorrow. Last night I did a final check of the trichs on event horizon #2 and toasted toffy. Everything looked great so I proceeded to do a "wet trim" outside (ill use the leaf blower to clean up) and cut the tops off the plant. I know this injures tje plant but it also makes them go crazy thinking they are dying and the buds and trichs swell. I had one plant last year I got two harvests off and a bunch of fresh frozen for concentrates. I looked this morning and I madecthe right decision. These plants are DONE. I've got another event horizon but it's not quite there yet. I'm going to leave it as long as I can. If the injured plants pick up pm or something (already had septoria) then the flower will be used for extracts or I'll do a Cervantes wash. I imagine concentrates though. One GMO isn't doing as good as the rest. Yesterday I had to cut three branches off due to grey mold on the stalk. If laws allowed it I'd isolate that plant. Luckily since I spend so much time going through the garden I'm able to find this kind of stuff. The GMO'S look wonderful (even the one with some yellow leaves that I cut the branches off) . K bicarb has kept pm at bay so far. This strain has TONS of trichs. It's like trich on trich on trich. I can't wait to try it. It smells amazing. Sherb pie is completely purple with rock hard buds that smell amazing. It's quality over quantity this year. The big one in the 50 (I think red runtz) is swelling more everyday. I'm going to switch to ch ching soon. The plant in the 10 had TOTALLY SUPRISED ME. I've never grown a plant lime this. It started out with dark purple in the middle now buds are swelling and calyxes are EVERYWHERE! This plant is growing extremely fast! You'll see what I mean when I put the pics and the videos up. I'm not going to do the event horizon harvest until I get both plants and all of both plants. It will be a while before I finish the toasted toffy one as well. 9/16 I'm glad I took those plants. Weather is good but plants were soaked thos morning. I need to go out at night and see what is eating new shoots. Flowers are looking great. I need to do another app of k bocarb sometime. I'm suprised the pm has pretty much stayed with that one plant. That two other GMO's flanking it are doing awesome! Purple, sticky stinky. It's got the whole package. The one in the 50 has some huge flowers that won't require much longer. The one invthe 10 has some time left. This is clearly a sativa dominant hybrid. The buds are swelling like crazy. It went from NO buds to having little purple calyxes to flowers that look like cat-tails! I can't wait to see what rhis year brings. Once I get things dry and manicured I'll give you guys a look at how the first stage of the first harvest went. I'm super happy. Defoliated and trimmed lower limbs, lowered light now on Canna Flora

Las flores siguen engordando y las hojas llenas de tricomas. Creo que a pesar de algunos detalles, el resultado va a ser interesante. Ya es la cuenta regresiva y de no mediar problemas habrá una cosecha abundante. Por ahora se prende intermitentemente el ventilador a la noche, por lo que no se ven problemas de humedad. Pero ante la duda en cualquier momento coy a dejar prendidos los extractores toda la noche. Día 40. Estoy viendo que unos pocos tricomas recién se empiezan a poner blancos. Por lo cual puede ser que incluso se alargue una semana más de lo que pensaba, llegando a 8. Hoy llegó el overdrive de advanced, pero no se si usarlo en esta planta, ya que depende de la maduración de los tricomas si empiezo el lavado en tres días, o no. El engorde es muy notorio en estos días, así que ya estoy bastante conforme. Aún así voy a ver si es necesaria una semana más de nutrición o no.

Day 40 : Watering today community after 3 days. They were too thirsty and drank 2.5L per plant. I added a lot of food to the water. But it finished with 800ppm only. I think Biobizz decreased the density of nutrients. I added 1 co2 tab / 5L as every time. Also made small defoliation to the bottom for all ladies. She have reached 45cm. There is something strange in this one. She is indica phenotype as its obvious, which means she flowers faster but she looks a bit behind. Maybe she felt the air so much in front of fan. I moved her and places DsD in front of fan.

This week was when I first recognized that there was something wrong.... Initially I only realized that the stems of my little girl were slightly bent downward. In some cases I have experienced this orientation when a plant is exhausted and about to got through its sleeping period but, this seemed different. In the following days I began to notice that the lower leaves were beginning to fade, the stems began to turn red, and still the leaves were bending downward and not praying to the light! At first I just figured that my plant was in need of a feeding and transplanting to a larger container but, after doing a bit of research I realized that the I may have been experiencing a phosphorus deficiency. From my understanding I knew that these plants require nutrients that is high in nitrogen during the vegetative part of its life however, I did not realize that it's still needed an adequate amount of phosphorus in this stage too. As I mentioned perviously, I decided to reuse my soil for this grow and as a result of sterlization my growing medium no longer had any nutrients to offer my plant at the time. I believe this is the reason I began to see signs of deficiencies and going forward if I ever reuse my medium again I will make sure to re-amend it before using it. *I also topped the plant at the 5th node this week as well*

May 4: nice spring day so the plants were outside in the afternoon. Some direct sun but mostly in the small greenhouse to stay warm out of direct sun. Still spraying with water to make up for low humidity, but also starting to water soil in a circle around the plant. Using Monster Maxx this year. Used last year in my compost tea and the root balls were very dense and intricate so it seems to work as advertised. Will still be mostly used for compost tea but also according to label direction of 2 mL/L once a week. May 5: mixing soil and sorting out grow bags for this year. Putting some spruce cones in the bottom to ensure air gets to the roots at the bottom. Indoor growers often use clay balls for this apparently but I’ve got lots of spruce cones handy and they’ll do the trick. May 6: looking good with all three looking very similar at this early stage. May 7: looking good. Room temp could be higher but oh well. May 9: beautiful warm spring day so I decided to transplant the chosen seedling into the final container. The smell is not very remarkable i get some notes of pine and herbs. But apart from smell she's crashing it :) She grew like a monster under the Mars Hydro TS 1000 150 Watt lamp, I Am really pleased, especially considering how little maintenance i performed on this girl. Dinafem did create a real tough plant. A big thanks to Mars Hydro for supplying the necessary equipment for this grow. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Same feeding schedule. I water every 2 days. Sometimes i wait the 3rd. The 11th week is starting off nice buds flowers are getting closer together. 3rd week of flowering

Grew like an animal I reccomend giving it a shot. The high is similar to the northern express strain but a little more potent. Calms you down relaxes but doesnt lock you in to the couch. Taste like hashish. Updated with a video of some nugs I still have left. After the cure this has become a crowd favorite from my indica selection. Feedback has been hard hitting and long lasting, for most good for any time of day. Impressed mostly by the denseness of the nugs. The smell remained earthy and woody with notes of citrus. All around great producer and a quality product.

It's so crowded between the Z Up and Poundcake strains that it's just growing upwards. It'll produce such beautiful buds, but certainly not many.
