The Ganja Gelato girls are done! This was this their last week. I had been watching the trichomes closely daily, and by Thursday (day 77), they were ready. A nice mix of almost all cloudy and a few ambers peeking through 😋. They had 4 full water feeds to runoff, so I feel that they are ready to go. I no longer do a 48 hour dark period before harvest, so it’s happening, happy Gardening 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨

1 plant was very ripe, 1 plant was almost perfect to harvest and the 3rd could take another 1-2 weeks...but it was end of 10th week of flower and i had to go on vacation, so i perhaps choped 1 plant abit too early....still awesome result!

Day 43 - Commence the flowering! Flower sights are becoming clear now, with lots of pistils appearing along the top of branches. Watered with 1.5L with a run off of 120ml(8%). Day 44 - Watered with 1.6L today. Run off of 200ml(12.5%). Day 45 - She's getting thirstier again. Watered with 1.6L with run off of only 65ml (4%). Can really see the height gain by the day... Hoping the tent will be tall enough. Day 46 - Watered with 1.8L today with run off of 100ml(5.5%). Had a few warmer days outside causing more water evaporation. Will move to 2L soon if run off stays low. Day 47 - Watered with 2L with run off of 260ml (13%). Flower sites really starting to stretch out now. Day 48 - Watered with 2L run off of 260ml(13%). Will continue to water with 2L and only note when changes are required. 2L seems to be the sweet spot for this week. Day 49 - That brings us to the end of Week 7 and the first week of flower. Bud sites are now really established - I'll be increasing nutrients to 1.5ml/L for Advanced Nutrients and 0.75ml/L on CalMag. Total growth of 12cm this week compared to the usual 7cm over the last couple of weeks. An extra 5cm of growth can be attributed to pre-flower stretching.

8 weeks later and these girls are getting smelly! They are also steadily packing on some weight and I'm getting excited! This week the girls look to be in mid flowering stage and they were starting to show some kind of deficiency (maybe should've top dressed last week) well I top dressed last night and whipped up a compost tea for them too so we'll see how they react this week. Other then that a very light defoliation for air flow and tightened up the lst wires. Getting very excited for a taste 😋 Hope you all had a good week and thanks for checking in ✌️

All fine, stretch nearly done, DLI was increased to 30, fertilizer changed mid week.

MY WEED LOOKS LIKE WEED! It's sticky to the touch. My fingers smell like chocolate and mint and dankness after defol. The trichs are absolutely insane and the flowers are now legit buds. 😍 I know everyone that's done this before is like "... yeah that's how it works." but as this is my first time .. you know.. *fart noise* 👆 Jog on. Having a random fall heat wave this weekend but humidity is steady around 45% during lights and no more than 60% in closed tent with new outtake fan. Staying heavy on the defol to keep problem spots like leaf overlaps and light blockers at bay since the RH is still a few points above where I want it. I've also found that 16 Hour dark periods, in my personal observation with no other experience, seems to have a positive effect on the plants. A few times this week I've had plans at night and had to dark tent it early since I still don't have a timer. It's almost like my plants are fast forwarding through flower with crazy trich and full buds by start of Week 4. Little Danny on the left is way more of a classic structure with 9 long main colas along the outside and smaller sites through the middle. Big Arnold is a super stretched out net weaved nightmare of single bud sites with a 4-5 traditional colas but most of the flowers are very spread along the net, I definitely experimented more with LST on Arnold. I remember looking at them both when I got them and said "I bet little Danny will end up with a higher yield" and if those colas go Superfudge Judy Bloom on me, it just might. The starting to notice the smell in the room and are they ever sticky 😍 Thinking about Backbuilding/Bud Topping, does anyone have any experience with it? Seems like a tried and true method to get a better looking bud. I'd love to experiment and do some side-by-sides for future reference. Harvest week for atleast the BG’s. The motor breath looks like it could go a couple more weeks but won’t have the time so….. we rollin with it!

Humming along just beautifully. Heavily defoliation on f21 opened up lots of bud sites to the light. They’ve responded by packing on buds everywhere. Moved to the 32 gallon res this week as they’re drinking a lot now. 4 x 20 second feeds. Ppm around 700. Ph 5.7 light smell light last time. Seem to have gotten the fungus gnats under control with huge yellow sticky traps and a strong h2o2 drench. Cheers!!

Day 84-91 (Day 3F-10F) (Day 6F) I’m giving a final foliar spray of Velokelp tonight before I start to see buds develop. Forgot to water today as I didn’t have any RO and bbb#1 was slumped and droopy. I decided to just water everything with tap water. I’ve been doing quite a bit of research on using city tap water with organics and it shouldn’t disturb the microbiology very much at all. And it will actually help smokability and ash color because of the extra CaCO3 in it. The higher 7.8 pH will also lockout heavy metals like aluminum as well. (Day 7F) Plants look just fine and the pH fluctuation didn’t make any difference at all. I’m going to discontinue the use of RO water for the rest of my run and all subsequent runs. (Day 8F) I’m defoliating small amounts of leaves and sucker branches but this thing is out of control. Every 12-18 hours I see noticeable growth. I want to do a heavy strip around day 21. Starting to see budlets and pistil clumps form! These plants don’t seem like huge stretchers but I’m still anticipating quite a jump in the next few weeks. (Day 10F) Everything is looking just perfect. I’m surprised how fast these 10 gallon pots are drying out now. They go from soaked to light and airy within a few days. Hopefully I can make it the next 2 weeks without seeing any N or Mg deficiencies.

Girl Scout Cookies Auto was suddenly ready to get chopped - I would've like to see a few more amber trichomes, but the fan leaves started yellowing faster, and more sugar leaves got crispy tips. Also, the smell got pretty strong over the last week or so. It was a very nice grow, and I'm curious on the yield and effect after drying and curing. Yuhbar Auto still needs a little more time, and will enjoy a few more days or weeks under the (artificial) sun, giving the trichomes more time to ripen.

Grow diary 11 Stage 4 Days 31-40 Day 31 Turned power up to 85% on the mars hydro ts1000. Mines one of the old ones you need to stick a screw driver in to alter it. Day 36 Removed the single finger fan leaves and the 1st 3 fingered leaves. Day 39 Removed the 4 fan leaves from where she was topped last week. The start of this stage we hit a heat wave, day after day of heat. I had my humidifier on most of the 9 days. The tent didn't hit the temps I thought it would so that means I have my loft under a bit better control. The plant really kicked into gear this week, around day 34 she started to explode in growth. So far I have only done some lite defoliation by removing some of the 1st leaves that weren't getting any light anymore. I think the kosher cake is the 2nd nicest looking one in the grow. I topped the plants at the end of week 2 veg. The plants are starting to take off. Things are looking good. Oh stable and PPFD on point.

Hey growmies hope everyone is good missed last week as I wasn't well but anywho update on them girls the video is from Tuesday 7th July and the pictures from today unfortunately had to chop the smallest fadiest plant of the Lemon Meringue Auto from Tastebuds Genetics as a lower top succome to botryitis 13 days early (I got rid of the affected top and chopped the rest down to small buds and thoroughly washed the rest with fresh water) 95%milky - 5% amber so this one is going to be melow not all is lost so happy growing peeps stay humble and as high as humanly possible! 👊💚

Cantaloupe haze needed a good flush brought runoff from 2000 ppm to 1100ppm will continue to monitor.

She fully recovered from the heavy defoliation now i hope she puts on the weight now August 13th: plant got flushed and right after fed ripen untill 300ppm runoff, the hairs start turn brown so in 10 days she will be ready. It has sativa shaped buds so i dont have to wait for swelling anymore
