Hello!! Too bad I only found this site now and didn't take too many photos during the first month. About the plant, it was the smallest of my plants at first, but then it grew very weel and now is the biggest of my girls. She entered in flowering a week later than expected, but beacuse of that she could grow more than the others. I've done only some LST and the plant just loved it, now i have like 11-12 main stems. Today I also have done some lollipopping but very cautiously because it was my first time doing it, and I didn't want to mess up.

Noticed a little late that the plant needs more water than nutrients. Burned Frankensteins tips a little.

The yield on this plant was excellent. Very happy with end results. She did great with some LST and defoliation. FoxFarm Ocean Forest soil and ph balanced water, no nutes. Will run her again next round.

Before diving into the details, let’s start with a note on my flowering timeline. While this is Week 4, I don’t start counting flower days the moment I flip to 12/12. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! The final Week, before harvest! She has some massive towering buds! 2.5 gallons of water is lasting this plant 5-6 days before drying out, and ready for more.. She was harvested instead of being watered!

Fifth week and the signs of the beginning of flowering are now clearly visible. As I had already announced, at the beginning of the week I defoliated again, and this girl reacted very well without being affected. This week she drank a total of 2.5 L of water, 1.5 L with nutrients and 1 L of water only, and grew to 45 cm. She looks really healthy and continues to grow. The lamp was dimmed to 75% all week, but I increased it to 100% on the last day of the week, still at 30 cm. Flowering is starting, and I'm really curious to see how this girl's flowers will develop. Ready for week six? Let's see where this Northern Light takes us!

Week 8 Here came fall. End of last week plant seemed hungry, the fade wasn't progressing as supposed so I gave her two nutes round with only water round in between them. I used bottled feeding: biobizz biobloom + top max (2ml each per liter), ghe ripen (2ml per liter), solved micronutrients and calmag (not mixed, one time one the next the other, 1-0,5 ml per lt). Solution EC was about 1,4, starting with 0,3 tap water. She reacted well to the feeding in my opinion. now the fade is progressing more naturally. I did observe that the plant under the less powerful COBS in the same tent are doing better then the ones under the sp250 wich has a higher par output, so I raised the light to 45-50cm from canopy. This had a positive effect on the plants imho. I'll stay a little bit further from the beginning in my next grow. I took a sample under the microscope to take some tricho pictures, they look beautifully clouded but the buds still has to ripen some 50% more. Based on that I think we are arriving to an end in 10-15 days max. Happy bottanic guys
