Still vegging is a good sign that she can grow some more. Expect her to start Flowering soon. Excited to see what can be achieved by an Autoflower that survived frost and low sunlight hours although not expecting much yield. Will continue with biogrow and fish mix until she start flowering. Added some mulch on day 47. The increasing temperatures and African sun is dehydrating the soil too quickly and forms a hard layer which is a pain in the ass when I water.

Unfortunately I spotted one bud with bud rot on my gelato plant. I flushed it on day 91 of cycle, day 54 of flowering. Today is day 94 and it seems it has not spread out to any other buds(happy days) .. I am watching it closely everyday and also to see how the trichomes are going.. breeder says 65-70 flowering days to be ready.. let’s see.. if I spot another bud rot I will probably harvest it.. I hope that will not happen.. let’s go

Harvest is imminent! I'm basically just waiting for her to drink her last watering. So 1-3 days I guess - my last few "finished" plants basically stopped drinking much at the end, and she seems to be the same. But my last post was about a week ago so one more flowering week report! A few days ago I took off some of the brittle taco-ified fan leafs. My guess is they don't do much for photosynthesis anymore and just prevent lower growth from getting light. Upper leafs by now have turned a pretty violet/plum color! I put a leaf from another plant in the picture for comparison.😊 Structurally there is little change since last week. Smell is still incredible too! She is significantly heavier than three weeks ago so the stems are losing the battle against gravity.. but as she's coming down in a few I'm not gonna go wild with jojos or garden wire. 🤷

Week 9 .......... Flower Week.........June 6 to 12, 2020 ........ Days 57 to 63 from germination She bulked up more this week and buds are swelling. She has reacted well with Massive and has increased her nodal spacing. Now she needs to work on bulking up more and filling in that spacing😀👍 Switched to Advance Nutrients Overdrive for the PK booster this week.......didn’t realize how much i still have of this and Big Bud so I brought them back into the grow this run😁 Overdrive is a great product, just been trying out a different line last two runs. As you can tell I like to use the supplements😂😂 and it gets a little pricey with the Advanced line. They have some killer products though with Piranha, Tarantula, Voodoo, Sensyzime, Bud Factor X, Overdrive for example. A little more leaf strip at the end of the week to let more light into the middle of her. Focused on the leaves on the inside of her and left a number of the fan leaves on the perimeter of her to help with sugar production. Starting to see some possible nutrient issues forming as she is aging and some of her leaf tips are starting to curl down a bit. There will also be some wind stress on this girls main stem. Red hairs have started so we should be less than three weeks to go and guess at roughly 2 weeks to go. Will be feeding next week but that might be the end......see what the week brings. Hope she will run another three weeks allowing her to fatten up.....hairs are still large and lot are still very white......time will tell🤞👍 Environment has been hovering at 79 degrees and 61 percent humidity for most of the week. Yeast and sugar CO2 in use. Still feel there is going to be trade off battling the pH issues of the pots by feeding her 4.4 water and feed. I have to keep it that low to have a runoff of 6.6pH🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪 Going to start letting the pH drift higher the next couple of days though and give a couple of waterings at 5.6 to ensure she is taking up enough phosphorus and potassium. Now to just ramble........this girl is freaking awesome!! She is the one that captures all my attention right now. Her frost levels are ridiculous for 9 weeks on an auto, in my experience🤩😃🤩 She is certainly at photo period levels compared to girls I have grown and with hopefully at least a couple of weeks still to go to improve.......DAMN!!! The Skywalker I have run from Mephisto were also crazy good for frost levels. Her buds are stacking up gorgeous and getting thicker. Still a lot of long thick white hairs so hope she takes her time and fattens up and not just starts drying and hardening up.......not yet anyway🤞 Her side branches are producing long thick colas and make you instantly smile thinking about possible yields😉🤞 She is one of the nicest plants I have ever grown! The resistance is crazy good as she battles though this high pH crap I have thrown her into. Believe it was an issue with too much Magnesium too early and the fabric from the pots. To battle that I have been hitting her and Killer Kush with heavy watering/feeding everyday at 4.4 ph!!!!!!. runoff from that is 6.7 a day later. As time passes after the feeding the pH is drifting up......heave feed to pull it back down🤪🤪🤪 She has been powering through this and growing very nice at 28” tall......perfect!!! So happy I have 5 more seeds of her. Awesome work Mephisto!!!!! I forgot the seed in the cup of water for 2 days... but oh wow she was perfect to go impressive. Stayed in her first pot for like only 3 days. Something bite a chunk of the cotyledon, and she took it like a champ

They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! Day 14, the last week was an Amazing week! I am loving the roots 707 so far just for the pure fact that i don't have to water as much as coco based medium and the babies look so happy! All stretch has stopped and they are now working on leaf production! All are growing at the same pace with a few outliers on both ends but i have a feeling all will catch up with LST. Definitely got some interesting growth i know i have a couple two leaflet strains wich is interesting!
