Been a lil busy. Haven't been on here or in the garden as much as i need to. The girls are growing all natural. I have literally taken no leaves off their entire lives. Some of the old fan leaves die during light drybacks. Inuse deybacks for stacking nutes and some light drought stress which can increase oil production. They just have a small cage at two levels. I have cut nutrients to most of them, going for quality smoke as its already more than I can consume lol. Two look like they are still bulking. Some are getting close. Everyone is still getting bokashi/ffj for the terps and ethylene found in the ripe fruits. It helps with senescence.. I turned the lights and temps down to help crop steer ‘em. We are getting close! Which means airflow and internal light penetration become critical early. And that’s exactly why this week mattered. ⸻ 🍃 The Defoliation — Not Aesthetic. Architectural. This was not cosmetic trimming. It was: • Removing large fan leaves blocking interior bud sites • Cleaning inner congestion • Opening airflow channels • Resetting light distribution across the canopy • Helping the entire room environment (not just this plant) The room needed air — this plant was advanced enough to handle stress. That’s key. Week 3 of flower is the transition window: • Stretch is slowing • Bud sites are set • Energy shifts toward stacking At this stage, a strategic defoliation: • Improves transpiration efficiency • Reduces microclimate humidity pockets • Prevents internal leaf-to-leaf condensation • Encourages bud site activation below the top canopy This was structural architecture. Not haircut vanity. ⸻ 🌡️ 28°C in Flower — “Too Hot?” Let’s Go Deep. People panic when they hear 28°C in flower. But here’s where most growers confuse: 🔥 HPS vs LED Heat Behavior Under HPS: • Radiant heat warms leaf surfaces directly • Leaf temperature often equals or exceeds room temp • 28°C air under HPS can mean 30–32°C leaf temp • That pushes VPD dangerously high Under LED: • Less infrared radiation • Leaf surface temp is typically 1–3°C LOWER than room temp • So at 28°C room temp, leaf temp might be 25–26°C And VPD calculations depend on leaf temperature, not air temperature. ⸻ 🌿 What Is Leaf VPD? VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) measures the difference between: • Moisture inside the leaf • Moisture in the surrounding air But if you calculate VPD using only room temp, you’re missing the real transpiration dynamics. With: • 28°C air • ~25–26°C leaf surface (LED) • 65% RH Leaf VPD sits in a very workable mid-flower zone. Not extreme. Not stress-inducing. Not shutdown territory. We’re driving metabolism, not cooking terpenes. ⸻ 💧 Why 65% RH Isn’t Dangerous Here Context matters: • Good airflow • Opened canopy • Compact but cleaned structure • Early-mid flower (Week 3, not Week 7) At this stage: • Pistils are forming • Bud density is still moderate • Transpiration is active High humidity becomes dangerous when: • Bud mass is dense • Internal airflow is poor • Late flower resin traps moisture We’re not there yet. my dry and cure style is this: 4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. buds are one of the hardest as fucking rocks type of buds! very dense , compact , sticky , smelly , amazing at every aspect growing stage was 56 days and flowering stage was 75 days total (harvested tops at day 64th) the total weight of dry buds was : (plant #1 & #3 top buds 56 G + lower buds 22 G ) 78 G + (plant #2 top buds 47 G + lower buds 18 G ) 55 G + (plant #4 top buds 120 G + lower buds 67 G ) 187 G = 367 G

So Friday will be day 70. I messed up a lot, did lst and used big pots so I'm thinking these might go 3-5 more weeks. They smelled so amazing a few times today though. First the purple punch, then the sour diesel, then the girl scout cookies, each gave off aromas one after the other a few times today. The purple punch smalls so sweet and delicious.

La LSD 25 auto évolue avec brio malgré son démarrage un peu trop "gourmand" en azote. Les premières feuilles ont fait un clin d'œil jaune, mais rien de comparable à la banane purple punch qui a décidé de prendre un virage jaune express. Est-ce la sénescence ou un petit coup de mou en azote ? L'avenir nous le dira, mais croisons les doigts pour que notre traitement porte ses fruits et atténue ces petits caprices. J'ai opté pour un rééquilibrage en donnant un quart de la dose recommandée d'azote, pour finalement arriver à la moitié. Les têtes sont déjà en pleine maturation, certaines ont même déjà fini leur course en seulement 47 jours. Imaginez-vous, une plante de cannabis qui nous offre des têtes en un mois et deux semaines ! C'est tout simplement impressionnant. Je prévois de patienter encore deux ou trois semaines, histoire de laisser la magie opérer un peu plus. Cruise control... Watered plain water 6.7ph on Wednesday and Sunday.... Literally no fuss. The Stalks are fatter than a #2 pencil already. No sex yet. I need them to hurry on that because I think they are already getting close to needing a flip. They should be some good sized plants. Which the 3 gallon are obviously going to be to small for a plant this robust. Maybe if I had flipped them already... All 3 are showing desirable traits. So I think we just send them all into flower and decide which one gets either Back crossed or maybe 1 of these will be a male! If one is a male then I will shoot for an F2 pollination / Offspring. But if not the back cross should be good as well. Not much else to report on this diary, easy cheesy week. Thank you all for looking.

Puggles Autos Ruby Dragon BX 19th November 2020 Well that's it ✊ I've officially pulled up the Male Ruby dragon BX as it has produced ample amounts of hopefully viable and healthy pollen. I then used that pollen to cross with a Fastbuds Seeds Origanal Sour diesel Female that should ( if I did it right) produce lots of nice Auto hybrids to play around with. I would like to Thank you all for your weekly visits and likes for each update and Keep an eye out for the Diary I'll make when I try out the seeds from the F1 cross 😀

I topped and trained them two more times. I also lolipopped them, that is cut the bottom 2 sets of leaves and branches.

Videos were taken on day 37 of flower. This one has a heavy strawberry aroma and some strange lookin buds. Looks like it will fill in pretty good. It's on the far right of the tent in the videos next to the purple leafed plant.

Week 14 (1-5 to 7-5) 1-5 Temperature: 28.2 degrees (lights on) 22 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 62% (highest) 46% (lowest) No pictures. 2-5 Temperature: 29.2 degrees (lights on) 20 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 61% (highest) 48% (lowest) Removed the net, and tied down some branches to the pot with some gardening wire. This way i can easily remove the pots out of the tent to weigh them. I also moved the oscilating fan from underneath the canopy to above the canopy. This is because the leaves gets hotter as i increase the light's power output. The Gorilla Kush #2 and the Chemdog #2 are showing some heat stress. Installed a valve on the autopot from the Kush #2. This is because its weight is higher then the other pots. Before i watered them i weigh the pots. Dry weight: Gorilla Kush #1: 4.4 kg Gorilla Kush #2: 6.0 kg Added 10L to the reservoir. Opened the reservoir for a couple of minutes. 3-5 Temperature: 26.2 degrees (lights on) 19.9 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 61% (highest) 47% (lowest) No pictures. The bud development of the #2 is very mediocre, some buds show some THC, and some buds have almost none on them. Another hot week in the 30s but obviously they like it due to the amount of growth considering ,really just 19 days in growth and two days germination. Is this normal for auto flower growth?

At the end of this week EC is at 3.0 so first thing to do next week there will be reservoir change. All goes well looks like the small POGP plant is maturing so probably about two more weeks for her. I spray them every second day with CannaCure or a hydrogen peroxide solution to be safe from the moldy buds. The SE7000 runs at 550 Watt and about 35cm from the canopy and is doing an astounding job.
