Woche 5 / Vegi Woche 4 Der Grow: ​​​​​Zum Anfang der Woche, wurde die Pflanze zum zweiten mal getoppt. Damit wurden aus den 6 Hauptrieben, 12 neue Haupttriebe. Dass toppen hat die Pflanze wieder gut verkraftet. Die Triebe sind im Verlauf der Woche gut und gleichmäßig gewachsen. Am Ende der Woche war die Pflanze wieder schön kompakt und buschig. Wahrscheinlich werde ich die Pflanze in der nächsten Woche, ein letztes mal toppen. Ob jeder der neuen 12 Hauptriebe getoppt wird, mache ich davon abhängig, wie sie sich weiterhin entwickeln. Leider war ich mir dann zur Wochenmitte zu 100% sicher, dass die Pflanze zu feucht steht. ​Kurze Zeit nachdem gießen, hat die Pflanze, ihre Blätter extrem hängen lassen. Auch haben sich erste Mangelerscheinungen gezeigt. Da Mangelerscheinungen bei der kurzen Zeit und dem Erdvolumen, nicht sein können, plus die Kombination der hängenden Blättern, nachdem gießen, waren dann die eindeutigen Anzeichen, für eine über Wässerung. Die Symptome werden hierbei, durch den fehlenden Sauerstoff an den Wurzeln, ausgelöst. Ich habe daraufhin, die Bewässerung komplett eingestellt. Aktuell bekommt die Pflanze seit 5 Tagen kein Wasser mehr, damit die Erde abtrocknen kann. Meine neue Strategie, für die Sonnenerde, schaut jetzt wie folgt aus. Ich lasse die Erde jetzt auf 30% abtrocknen, danach gebe ich einmalig, wieder soviel Wasser, dass die Feuchtigkeit auf 40% steigt, um sie dann wieder auf 30% absinken zulassen. Zwischen diesen Bewässerungen, gibt es 1-2 mal, nur ca. 200ml Wasser, damit die Erde gleichmäßig feucht bleibt. Dies sollte für eine gute Sauerstoff Versorgung der Wurzeln sorgen und das Boden Leben fördern. Damit die Pflanze etwas wenig gestresst ist, durch die über Wässerung, habe ich die LED erst einmal wieder auf Stufe 2 gedimmt und den VPD auf 1,2kpa gesenkt. Beides wird wieder schrittweise erhöht, wen die Feuchtigkeit in der Erde, auf mindestens 40% gefallen ist. Der Trauermückenbefall, dürfte auch erledigt sein. Die Nematoden haben ganze Arbeit geleistet. Auf den Gelbtafeln sind keine neuen mehr dazu gekommen und im Zelt sehe ich auch nichts mehr. Sobald die Pflanze aber wieder Wasser bekommt, werde ich sicherheitshalber, noch einmal mit Nematoden gießen. behold the epic conclusion of my Medusa F1 odyssey! Week 11 brings us face to face with an absolute masterpiece – our mighty Medusa in all her glory. She has blossomed into a cannabis goddess, and I can't help but feel a mix of pride and hilarity. So, picture this: with scissors in hand and a grin on my face, I bravely took the plunge and performed the cosmic haircut of the century. With our Medusa delicately suspended upside down, she's now getting ready for her final act of drying. It's like she's doing an acrobatic performance, waving her buds at us from above. This week I added Floralicious Plus and Liquid Koolbloom to the nutrients to try and help with bulking and flavor profile down the road we shall see if this helps any. Overall this week looks to be quite average. Slow growth, the tent seems to be smelling quite beautiful more and more every time I open it up. Appears they like the stinky floralicious plus. These next few weeks is what I’ve been looking forward to so I’m getting very excited. That along with the fact it’s my sisters wedding today so there’s lots to do! Un SOG que empezó mal pero que se ven con un buen color y avanzan progresivamente, se marcan un color increíble y las flores van formándose, así que a estar atentos. La humedad es perfecta, la temperatura la e podido corregir y ya la tenemos entre 24/25 grados. Añadi la base,Blue line B de Agrobeta. Esta semana añadí tucán, gold joker, silver, tetra 9, beta shark, mega Pk, tricoma, explotacogollos y terminator también de Agrobeta. Estoy controlando el ph está alrededor de 6- 6,5. Normalmente riego cada 24 horas y más o menos cada planta está tragando 1 litro de agua en cada riego. Vamos viendo cómo progresan estas últimas semanas. Day 33: What an amazing height and bud gain in just 3 days! Lady #1 is 67 cm tall now, her sister a tad smaller. Both still have a great color, and I dared to cur away just the lowest branches and leaves that do not look like they could gain height in time. Really enjoying this strain so far! At the end of their day, they are a bit dropping leaves, so clearly no hunger for more light. The impressive growth speed continued on their buds: Tallest lady at 70 cm now. Their next morning shows growth is still at an impressive 5 cm/day as lady #1 with her leaves erected again stretches now 72, the maximum of my previous growth. Pulled the lights as close as possible to the ceiling and hope they won’t make it much more than 1 m. I activated the Sansi 30 W folded wings LED to give them somewhat of a morning and evening light and to add some more light to their overlapping center branches in the middle of "their" day. Sadly that’s causing some interference to the timelapse videos, but I can’t say they’re perfect if it wouldn’t. Watching the timelapse video of day 34, I have the feeling the additional light rather irritates them. Maybe the interference is not only visible for electronic eyes. I’ll keep it off next day for comparisons. Day 35 shows stretch speed has reduced indeed and they seem to be concentrating on leaf and bud growth instead. 75 cm, so we are currently at "only" 3 cm/day. Watered them with a HPE/Bud growth mix again last night, about 1 l each. Well, forget my words about reduced growth. After they recovered during the night, we are at 77 cm for lady #1. Which measured at 78 with hanging leaves in their day’s evening. I must have missed a day number – day 36 concludes their 5th week. I gave them another 2 l of fertilised water each and will lave them for the weekend again. Video shows that growth concentrates now more on leaf and bud development than on gaining height. So I guess my 160 cm tent will be sufficient. For a moment I was worried, but it looks like stretch is over. Anyway, time to rearrange the camera next week. Leaves are running out of focus.

everything in the second week of flower went well. she really stretched and the buds quickly started getting fat. also every watering i would notice a very strong odor of weed. december 22nd 2021: gaver her last half of gallon used in last feeding. also nothing was tested. ph tested at 6.6 last feeding and it usually comes out a little higher after a few days. january 1st 2022 i noticed the first trichomes.

She's really frosting up and producing quite the smell! Definitely a lot smellier than my first grow which I appreciate :) One thing I've done is kept the light much lower than usual and while it's creating issues with temp it seems to be helping the budsites grow faster. I think it's also helped with her not stretching as much, especially that main cola which is still 5" higher than the rest of the budsites (better than my first grow where main cola was 8-9" taller). Wish I had more space, looking into a 24x24x48 tent. Happy growing everyone!!😊

Week 5 (20/02 - 26/02) I made no progress with the LST last week, hoping to do better the next grow. Some secondary branches developed more than usually but not as expected. I haven't been effective enough with the training. The last day of the past week, the two fat banana moved into pre-flowering, while the blue cheese is still into vegetative stage. During this week, I will start to add bio-bloom and top-max together with the bio-grow. The light will be to 40 cm from top of the plants at 100% of its power. No changes to the heating/cooling parameters. 20/02 D28: - 21/02 D29: watering day. Added to 2.5 liters of tap water: 2ml Bio-Grow, 1ml Bio-Bloom, 1ml Top-Max. This evening, being secondary branches still flexible, I've tried to horizontally extend them with ropes in order to give them more light, let's see what happens in next two days. 22/02 D30: leafs sprayed with tap water 23/02 D31: watering day. 1 liter of tap water only each plant. Evening check: plants became thirsty; the soil seems to be almost dry even if I watered them this morning. 24/02 D32: watering day. Added to 2.5 liters of tap water: 2ml Bio-Grow, 2ml Bio-Bloom, 1ml Top-Max. 25/02 D33: leafs sprayed with water. 1 liter of tap water each because they are growing and drinking a lot. 26/02 D34: Added to 2 liters of tap water: 2ml Bio-Grow, 2ml Bio-Bloom, 1ml Top-Max. They seem to grow well and faster. The blue cheese seems to be in pre-flowering, almost a week later than the two fat banana.

Apr 11 The plant is now actively sacrificing lower, less important leaves. I've used flexible garden wire to separate the side colas from the main cola to help light get in. Things are fattening up and trichomes are developing.
