Beginning of week.. I almost started the flush this week.. But no, they need AT LEAST one more week of like a half dose of feedings.. then, I'll begin the flush. But they are both so beautiful! Lol.. So many purples in the ETHOS Cookies.. And the smell.. I can't get over the way she smells! So intense! Gonna be a great smoke for sure! Just don't want to harvest too early.. I did that with the Early Lemon Berry from ETHOS and it got me high.. But it was a very paranoid high.. Like VERY very paranoid hahaha.. I didn't like it.. But it tasted GREAT! But yeah, I harvested a little too early.. Not enough amber trichomes. And with these girls.. I feel comfortable flushing for 3 weeks if needed.. So this week I'm just gonna give them both a half dose (or so) of nutes but keep the sweetener at full power! Lol anyways.. Just (tRyInG tO) keeping these girls happy till the flush! The Mandarin Cookies leaves are beginning to look pretty pathetic.. They fall off pretty easily.. And look like complete shit in most spots.. Just can't wait to get these girls ready to smoke!!! They are getting STACKED! 💪💪💪 Mid week.. Still giving both plants: water, 1/2 feed, water, 1/2 feed, water, etc.. Mandarin Cookies gets watered/fed everyday (mornings) and the ETHOS Cookies gets watered/fed (afternoons usually). They are both looking like they should finish pretty close together. Trichomes are eVeRyWhErE! Seeing quite a few milky/cloudy.. Still quite a few clear tho too.. And almost no amber trichomes.. A couple here and there.. But not enough to even say amber are even forming really. Lol.. So pointless to even bring up.. Not till I see a gang of them.. Or at least a couple on one calyx to say there are some amber lol.. Just my 2 pesos, I guess.. Yet I suck at timing the harvest just right lol.. Still trying to find MY sweet spot.. Meh.. Anyways.. Just look at those pictures!!! Gorgeous colas! Good fucking job on these genetics ETHOS.. Good.. Fucking.. Job... End of week... Wow.. Just.... Wow... These ladies are looking awesome. This next week will be week 9 from 12/12.. Most of the pistils have turned.. Not all.. But more than 50% for sure. They are both looking about the same when it comes to pistils and trichomes.. Just BARELY starting to see some amber coming thru.. Still some clear.. But the next 2 weeks of flushing should give them enough time for the clear to mature a bit and should see more amber by then.. Hopefully not too many.. But I will harvest at the end of this week if they seem to mature too quick for another week.. 1 week of flushing in coco should be plenty.. I just like to overdose these ladies on water at the end.. It really does make a difference in my opinion.. I've even flushed a plant for like 4 or 5 weeks and yeah she looked like shit.. But only the leaves looked shitty.. The buds were still gorgeous as ever and VERY flavorful!.. Anyways.. This is about THIS grow.. These ladies are still loving life.. I have been slowly weaning them into the flush.. Not flushing them completely all at once.. But over a longer period of time so they can still get some nutes in.. But I am happy.. They are happy.. Tomorrow I will begin FloraKleen for both girls... And even run it thru the medium 2 days in a row.. Just to really get EVERYTHING out of the medium.. Then just water as I have been till harvest! Home stretch!!!!... On to the next week!...

This week we had to go on a destination wedding and had to have friends house sit. Again 😔 I hate having to do that, but this time everything went very smoothly. We didnt lose any plants lol. Before we left I was able to get #2 transplanted in a 7x7 nursery pot. Man was she ready too! I've decided since I am only growing 2 Choc Mknt OGs that i will be training one(both high and low stress) and this plant(#2) I will be leaving completely alone to do her own thing 🤞 Watering has went smoothly this week. Both plants only wanting water once in this 7 day stretch. I think because the transplant soil was already very moist. #1 has rooted and already started taking off from her transplant last week. Tent update: Our ES300 by the green sunshine company arrived this week!!! I was able to get it I'll installed before leaving. So now in my Vivosun 2x4 tent I have 1 es300. I moved the viparspectra to my large flower tent. The Choc mint seem to absolutely love this light. I started it at 70% power(its a dimmable light fixture) and am slowly moving it up over the course of a week. Day 12: my friend reported great growth on #2!! So she is rooted as well and doing good. Also, the heat in my 2x4 is in the low 80° getting up to 85° even 90°(for a few minutes) I'm mostly running Sativas which love the heat, but I have noticed Choc Mint OG prefers it a little cooler. Day 17F-24F (Day 19) Man it’s such a shame that bbb#1 stunted out. It was so damn vigorous until it’s most recent feeding. I will make sure to cut back on teas next round as they can be a wild card sometimes. All 5 plants are packing on some serious early frost. But I’m not seeing too much chunk to the buds yet. My other grow that was flipped on the same day has almost no frost yet so that’s a good sign. (Day 21) Big strip today. I will pull off as many leaves as I need to ensure nearly all bud sites are exposed to adequate light. I’m still seeing excess N so I’m going to water in 2 gallons each until I get some runoff. The plants seem to be up taking water pretty decently so I’m going to push it a little with a heavier watering. Wow do the plants look amazing after that strip and flush! Everything is praying up beautifully, including #3 in the back. Let’s hope that gets it back on track now. (Day 22) I want to give a PK boost but all my bloom nutrients have way too much N and I don’t really want to risk it toxing anymore. I could give it a little bit of 0-18-0 bat guano and some 0-0-15 kelp extract but it could be completely unnecessary. I can’t see any signs of deficiencies but a small surplus couldn’t hurt either. (Day 23) I like how the ladies responded to the thorough watering. I will up my watering to 1 gallon every 48 hours from now on. It sucks to see how short bbb#1 is. I was expecting such a huge stretch but it never came because of that fucking tea! I should have leached the medium as soon as I saw stunting. It’s too bad because it definitely had the most potential for yield. (Day 24) I’m starting to think the main problem with bud size this round is all the topping I did early on. Not to mention they were vegging for nearly 3 months. I will try to pick off most of the larf before it wastes anymore energy. I think the ideal style of growing for bud size and veg time is a semi sea of green, or 6-8 plants per 25 square feet. I’m not a big fan of these giant plants as it’s a lot of wasted veg time and smaller bud size overall. The smell is really ramping up!

Flipped these ladies 06 Oct 23 (Friday). After watering 09 Oct 23 (Monday) I walked in and the before SOG photos are what it looked like, I put up the new net and tied a few tops down to spread the canopy out. With the new trellis in place I'm going to let theses ladies rip and add another trellis once they outgrow their current one.

Day 80 This morning I started defoliating Tropicana. She will be in the darkness for the next days. I already harvested a part of the head flower and let it dry trimmed. Because of extreme weather conditions and very high humidity I got a little bud rott. I found it out quit early I think. So I hope nothing will not happen any more. Just harvesting relaxed and drink a Tropicana tee. Day 81 I decided to cut her down in the evening. The humidity in the basement room is high and I don‘t want to risk here anything anymore. Waiting for my first homegrown weed to be vaped. Day 82 Tropicanas flowers hanging to dry in my basement. I check them once per day with a strong light. Day 83 Same same. The smell is wonderful like a bit of gas combined with a fruity flower bouquet. Our neighbors in the house like the smell, too. 🙏 Day 84 I could try my first homegrown weed. It‘s absolutely tasty and have a very smooth vape. I was very surprised cause it‘s not cured yet. A longer vape report will follow when it‘s dried and cured. Day 88 All flowers, sugar- and tee leafs are trimmed and filled in glasses for curing. I open twice per day for 20 minutes. Boveda packs 58% inside. I will fill out the rest of the diarie when my buds are dried, cured and vaped. So far this was a very exciting journey for me. Growing cannabis and even legal on our balcony. Feels still a bit unreal, but it’s real! Thank you for reading my diary! Thanks to all the people who worked on legalizing cannabis in Germany, especially to the „Deutscher Hanfverband (DHV)“! Hey everyone, Day 14 and things are going ok so far. I put all the plants in a pop up greenhouse so I could add some humidity. Hoping for some good growth this week as weather continues to be nice.

04/22/25. Start of week 8 flower. Uh.. apparently I took way too many pictures lol. Oops. Couldn’t help it.. she’s photogenic I guess. Anyway, getting some new pretty colors now and her pistils are darkening up a lot more now. Also getting some foxtailing on the two tallest buds. Probably getting light blasted a bit much, but they’re quite a bit taller than the rest.. and I don’t want them lacking, so it is what it is. I gave her food a couple days ago, but I’ll be looking at her trichs to see where she’s at. I’m guessing she still has a bit to go, but guessing isn’t gonna do it- pistils have lied to me before. I’ve seen a bit of white in them before and had amber trichs. My guess is that the next update will not be a harvest. Guess we will see. ✌️

Woche über haben sich die Blüten weiter entwickelt. Die Trichome wurden mehr und man fängt an erste Terpene zu riechen. Wir haben Donnerstag (BT 21) stark entlaubt und schauen jetzt wie die Pflanzen wachsen. Tropi fängt an erste Farbakzente zu entwickeln in den Buds.

I’ve been flushing them bringing the pH down little by little trying to go gentle eventually the last flash show PH at 6.8. Which is OK anything between six and seven is considered optimal range for cannabis plant. Today I shut Lemon cherry Gelato. PH after runoff is 6.8 I used 1gal added 4ml of Gold leaf
