Welcome to week 7 of my first Grow diary. Unfortunately it has rained a lot this week, but the temperatures have risen again. On Sunday we had perfect weather, which I would like to have all the time. The plant is growing bushier from day to day, which has made LST a little more difficult for me. Apart from a bit of aphid infestation, which I fought with neem oil, everything is going well. This week I fertilised with nettle manure again. I completely forgot to give you an update on the cuttings. A week after I cut them I unfortunately discovered mould and had to dispose of them. I really like the weather forecast for next week. End of Week 7 CO2 is definitely increasing growth rates but also changes the game with controlling your environment now that it has to be sealed in order to not waste CO2 unnecessarily. You change one thing and it adds many other variables to keep everything in check. I am learning everyday and that's why I grow. The trellis net is doing its job and the canopy is looking nice and even. I also added a soil top-up and top dress of some BioBloom and Mycorhizae so it can start breaking down before I flip to flower next week (Slow release dry organic amendments). And the ladies are using up nutrients in the soil much faster because of the added CO2 (another variable to take into consideration - faster growth = faster nutrient consumption) In detail: -Carefully removed trellis netting -Ammended each plant individually with my soil mixture and nutrients -Placed them back in the tent -Reinstalled trellis netting and trained the ladies to shape Pest Report: Thrips VS Ladybugs... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. I did not spray any insecticide this week and it really seems like the ladies are happy with my new method of bio-warfare and are wilting less and less often

1/25/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 1- took 2 Tops today and cleaned up a few lower leaves that were hanging down. The FiM seems to have worked well and looks like I have three branches coming in where it was FiMed. 1/26/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 2- took 2 Tops from the sides and took a little of the foliage that was touching the lid. She seems to be doing very well.. Water change day tomorrow.. YAY!! will get a good picture of the roots and see how she is doing. 1/27/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 3- Water Change Day! I noticed a slight red coming in on the STEMS which I added a pinch of EPSOM salt to help correct. I added 36 Gallons of Water I added the following Nutes: Silica = .5Mil/Gal= 18Mil CalMag= .75Mil/Gal= 27Mil FloraMicro = 4.2Mil/Gal= 187Mil FloraGro= 3.8Mil/Gal= 137Mil FLoraBloom= 3.0Mil/Gal= 108Mil ORCA = .5Mil/Gal= 18Mil EPSOM- 1 big pinch 1/28/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 4- I cleaned her up just a little bit on stuff hanging down. I also made sure the PH is balanced so she could soak up the New Nutes. 1/29/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 5- I Got sick, Possibly food poisoned.. Luckily for me the system was able to do what it do and hold it down until I was feeling better. 1/30/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 6- I was still to sick to go to my grow room... Possibly food poisoned.. Luckily for me the system was able to do what it do and hold it down until I was feeling better. 1/31/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 7- First day back.. Her PH was down to 5.72 so I raised the PH back up closer to 6.0, I took a few pictures and got her height.. Feeling better through prayer so was able to get some pics today.

We are at 21 days from these girls breaking the surface and they are making progress. I noticed at the beginning of the week that they were a little overdosed on nitrogen so I added 2 gallons of tap water to the reservoir and adjusted the ph to 6. They are still looking a little heavy on N but their growth rate is going great so I think it should balance out by the end of next week. I dont plan on doing a water change until I flower them. I left the plants alone most of the week. Tied most of them down to spread them out and defoliated a few lower leaves on day 20. The branches on most of these plants are thick and solid already. They don't budge easily. Bananasicle is looking pretty funky with uneven branch and node growth but we are just going to push forward. Still pumping nutrients and beaming light 24 hours a day. I'm thinking day 28 we will switch them to flower and see if any of these ladies can bring some❄️🔥💨

Not a record breaking yield but a few rock hard colas.. first time we've topped an auto and in not displeased with the results..we have a bad habit of not weighing wet/dry as this is all for personal use but we will get weights on the next plant... rough guess would be 1.5oz maybe a little more..this is a very sleepy strain but has been a great change from all the Kush..thanks for reading and happy growing 🐱

I can no longer risk removing the plant for res change so I am using a siphon. Good thing the buckets are a few inches off the ground it makes it easier to get almost all the water solution out. Also stopped using my DIY cO2 past this point

48 hrs. of dark are up and its time to chop. pots have dried from the last flush. These did not stretch as much as I would have liked I will have to adjust my light better next time and there was a lot of lower development near the media, hence not enough air flow. when I flushed the pots the water level went up to the lower growth on the Think different and the bottom was wet and rotted the bottom half. I did a mild lollypop on them I'm early flower it just was not enough, LESSON LEARNED. Chopped on 2/8/20 whole plant drying low and slow 54% RH 68F for 10-14 days then will trim and jar. 981 grams wet with the lumber. lets see how they dry. I got a rosin press coming today I will squeeze all the trim and larffy buds into dabs yummy! All in all I recommend these genetics I will try the think different again I'm sure I just got a recessive dwarf gene. I have seen other grows of this same strain same breeder that are huge and stacked. thanks again to Fast Buds 420 and Green Buzz Nutrients for suppling the goods for the grow. Hello everyone! Made the last defoliation .. removed all hopeless branches and buds .. left only those that can develop normally .. as you can see, the color of the buds is already violet-red .. and the smell is pleasantly fruity, sweet))

While I was away in Mallorca, enjoying the sun and smoking some Sativa Landrace, the girls were given a more simple feed to make things easier for my friend whilst he was taking care of the garden. The feedings came to around 700ppm (Including 150-190ppm tap water). As you can see in the video I've been bending her down for a couple of days instead of tying a string to her. It's just a lazy LST that should basically do the same thing. This girl has really impressed me with her growth and bushy structure. She's responded very well from topping and just wants to carry on. Every second feed from here on out will also contain Mammoth P for the first time in my garden! 🐺

today with more experience. I see that I made some mistakes, about nutrients and some techniques, but as I repeat this was my second crop. it did not yield as much income as it should, but it was worth it, cultivating and learning.

Checked the fast bud Cherry Cola and gorilla cookies in paper towel and it had a nice tap root so it went in to the the Ocean from Fox farm with the center using a starter seed CoCo mix. So now we have two seed planted with tap roots in soil with clear solo cup over the top with some spritzes of water in the cup to keep the humidity up over the seed until they pop through the soil.

Things have kinda been on cruise control pulled maybe 3 dead leaves. No major issues this week. One more week of nutes then I’m giving her a flush.

Seeing how the results are, the big ones I made apical and fmi species or the one you cut 3/4 I think they came out in a few days, some just cut the leaf and sprouted, I helped the biggest one with its final production and all of them general the different techniques, although curious results for a beginner, the techniques were not done well, they were cut halfway or only the leaves and not the apex itself ahahahaha, it turned out but very good in the end I would say

I gave the 8 Ball Kush and the Blue OG a full 9 weeks in flower , we started the trim yesterday and will finish up today , now it’s cleanup time and get the room reloaded with 8 Ball Kush and Zombie Kush, I will update next weekend on final weight.
