This week she is getting sweet smelling and very frosty. She is very healthy in all ways. Switched lights to 12 on 12 off. Also thanks to my broski @budbanditUk I did some defoilage of the bigger fan leave es to bring the light to the bottom of my lady for full light penetration

Actualización 05/10/2024 ¡Hola, growers! Perdón por no poder compartir las semanas completas, pero poco a poco volvemos a la normalidad. Las fotos que ven corresponden al día 01/10/24 y, como pueden ver, están llenas de terpenos y tricomas por todas partes. Tanto la Fruit Gum como la Biscotti x Candy Rain son dos de las cepas más resinosas que he cultivado y, además, desprenden un olor increíblemente fuerte. La Fruit Gum tiene esos toques dulces y nostálgicos, como a chicle de mascar, que me transportan directamente a mi infancia. En cuanto a la Biscotti x Candy Rain, su aroma es como el de una clásica galleta americana casera, ¡muy intenso! Ambas cepas me están impresionando mucho por su resinosidad y aromas únicos. Cabe destacar que las genéticas de Uktha Genetics me han sorprendido gratamente; los resultados están siendo fantásticos. Eso sí, estas cepas comen como camiones, pero mientras se mantenga un control exhaustivo de las fertilizaciones y del medio de cultivo, no hay problema de sobrefertilización. Pronto cortaremos una de las plantas que está bastante adelantada. Espero que disfruten tanto como yo este proceso y, como siempre, ¡buenos humos para todos! 🌱💨

This was a great experience and something I have looked forward to for 19 YEARS!!!!!! Thats right, my very first attempt was a summer when I was 14 in a backyard with mediocre results and no flower but that was my very first grow ever. 19 years later its fully legal and here I am getting 36 grams of decent bud grown by the sun in a very questionable cannabis climate!!! NO COMPLAINTS HERE!!!!!!!😋 This diary was never about getting giant buds or the best flowers but more about I'm growing ORGANIC PINEAPPLE EXPRESS IN MY BACKYARD literally a dream come true, to do this worry free, 100% legal. As far as the grow goes I will certainly have some new strategies next year, I think a plastic pot would have been better to keep the heat in at night time with the cool temps earlier on in summer. Maybe even some minor insulation would be a good idea?!?! I'll invent the canadian outdoor cannabis pot hahahah I did not scrog the lady but I did use some yoyos to pull down the outer branches to help the flowers get even light. Will try folair feeding as well next time. I also dried her outside! and trimmed her outside to, she got the full outdoor experience. I just cut the plant and hung her under the deck, worked out good as it was a fairly dry week and she dried out fairly slowly, a little quicker than the tent plants. Now in about a week or 2, maybe a small cure at least first I will be doing the end game goal, smoking endless doobies of pineapple express while watching pineapple express!!!!!!!!! Today is day 36. I had to tie up some branch’s this morning. The colas have been slowly leaning in every direction, and I wanted to get them back standing straight in the light.i will flush her for a few days seems last batch of nutes burned her a little. I also believe there is to much nitrogen in her roots as some leaves have started to yellow up top. This is just my opinion from what I have been reading. I know Leaves will yellow during flowering, but from my understanding it is usually is the lower leaves. Any feed back would be appreciated.

Earlier in the week, I saw a discolored bud, and upon closer inspection, I found bud rot. Ugh. I immediately cut off the infected bud and the one closest to it. I looked through the canopy but couldn't see any more affected buds. Right after, I went out of town for a few days to Mary Jane, the big Cannabis Conference in Berlin. It was the first one after legalization, and it was wild. I had an awesome time, and it was great to meet up with friends while in Berlin. What wasn't so great was seeing more signs of budrot when I returned home—those days of +85% humidity at the start of last week made the botrytis go brr. Sigh :( Checking the trichomes showed it was still early to harvest, but I decided to chop anyway to save the unaffected buds. I also decided to hang each branch separately, as it would allow me to inspect each one closely to ensure no affected buds made it into the drying tent. Another reason is to decrease the drying time. Usually, I prefer a long dry, but due to botrytis, I aim to speed up the process. Overall, I found 12-15 affected buds, and of course, they're always the nicest-looking buds. I don't care about the yield loss, as more than enough is still left. I only hope the remaining buds are unaffected, and I'll inspect them daily throughout the dry. Now we wait. And hope.

Song of the week : Eminem - Fall ------- Day 87 - Back for another week🤘 , that grow seems to be endless ⏲️ but you can put it in me as I am on a Nitrogen excess since... a lot of time. But the lady is good , buds are packing and smelling really nice : a mix of Guyana/pineapple/bubble gum 😍😍😍. Contrary to the leaves the buds are clear green , did not check the trichomes yet but I can see many but not that much , I would like her to be just a bit more frosty. Yesterday she get a 1.80 Ec feeding with 6.4 PH and no runoff, feed with megacrop+calcium (once again I'am not doing what I said last week 😅). -------- Day 88 - Water with clear rain water with EC 0.03 ph 6.3 and the runoff was 1.98EC and 5.8Ph. Next watering will be water + calcium to low the nutrients amont of the coco and to prepare the plant to a low N feeding for the next weeks. I will only use GHE rippen the last weeks then flushing. Today I check the trichomes and they are all milky (90% at least) so I hope they will soon become amber. -------- Day 90 - I just water her with clear water yesterday as she started to burn a bit due to the high EC in the medium. Couples flush should get rid of it but it means that I'll go light on the next feedings. She's also packing beautiful nugs, last week was a good fattening one ! She' still Dark green but the buds are clear. And the most important thing : She's out since a week now -------- Day 91 - Last day of the week and an ultra hot day with 31/32 °C outside 😲. Clear water today , Runoff 6.3 PH & 0.70 Ec. Next week will be the full PK one

Layla was my pride and joy. First plant of the year put her outside. She grew wildly beyond my expectations pushing 12 ft tall before just beginning to flower. I was so proud.... A violent storm came and broker her in half. She is likely dead now as i wasn't home and it happened with the plant broken for at least 12 hours before i tried to fix it... I tried to re set her in the exact same spot and use a splint and duck tape to secure it along with multiple ties. Its only been a day but the leaves are all looking wilted and dying....

Slight accident this week where the red spectrum bar had popped of the railing and fell on the front row of babies and burnt them :( they’re recovering Everything seems slow in this compost/coco soil mix but hey…chugging along. I think I may go full coco next run. I believe they should start focusing on bud now have top dressed once more with compost & 2-8-4.

Week 2: Moving the Twins Outside After a slow start, I decided to move the twins outside and plant them together in a 5-gallon pot. Space is limited, and with how slowly they’ve been growing, they’re not getting their own pots this time. I’ve had slow starters before, and they don’t usually yield much, so I’m keeping my expectations low. Since these two have been particularly slow, they’re sharing a single outdoor pot. The medium I used is a mix of 50% coco, 30% soil, and 20% perlite—this should provide good drainage and aeration. I used Great White from Plant Revolution during the transplant. The taproots on both seedlings were barely visible, which made me nervous—especially with autos, since they can be sensitive to transplanting. But it had to be done. Now, they’re settling into their new outdoor setup, and I’ll be watching closely to see how they respond. Current Setup: Medium: 50% coco, 30% soil, 20% perlite (now in a 5-gallon outdoor pot) Transplant: Used Great White when transplanting Taproots: Barely visible on both seedlings Lights: Moved outdoors Nutrients: Biobizz Fish Mix for now; Big Plant Science later if needed

Significant decrease in pest population, now needs a high quality compost top dressing for long term correction
