Happy New to everyone sad to say I’m going through a tough time with the girls grow has seems to slow down since I began training week 3. FBTF 1 is showing preflower The new growth on a the girl looks smaller and shriveled on FBTF 1 also Gummy bears , where as cheetah the hut is a (photo period) her leaves are drooping and wrinkled. Which I’ve been seeing for a few days including new more drooping I did top Cheetah the hut would the effect her in this way? I’m stressing to figure this out I have added be light which is 230 true watts which I believe cause some heat/light stress also watered with 1 tbsp of molasses per gallon and gave each pant a qtr about 5 days ago. Recently watered Dec 30 with advanced nutrients 3 part micro grow and bloom a qtr each ph was 6.1 will letting pots dry to figure this out problem

2nd net is up. Early bud formations are promising. holding up to the extremes pretty well, some leaves taking minor damage, but overall, she is holding up, gave her 1 night at 50F see how she would react, stressful. Not advised as it messes with her metabolism, but I want to see if it triggers any anthocyanin response. Love to see her purp up but no signs yet. Remember, For every molecule of glucose produced during photosynthesis, a plant needs to split six molecules of water. This process provides the hydrogen needed for synthesizing glucose and other organic compounds, while oxygen is released as a byproduct. Homework. If Rubisco activity is impaired and it cannot properly function or regenerate its substrate, the plant's leaves are likely to turn a pale green or lime green, a condition known as chlorosis. Essentially, Rubisco activity is highly regulated and susceptible to various environmental and metabolic factors that can cause it to become inhibited, leading to an apparent failure in RuBP regeneration due to a lack of consumption. Rubisco regeneration is intrinsically linked to nitrogen supply because Rubisco is a major sink for nitrogen in plants, typically accounting for 15% to over 25% of total leaf nitrogen. The regeneration phase itself consumes nitrogen through the synthesis of the Rubisco enzyme and associated proteins (like Rubisco activase), and overall nitrogen status heavily influences the efficiency of RuBP regeneration. RuBisCO is a very large enzyme that constitutes a significant proportion (up to 50%) of leaf soluble protein and requires large investments in nitrogen. Insufficient nitrogen supply limits the plant's ability to produce adequate amounts of RuBisCO, thereby limiting the overall capacity for photosynthesis and carbon fixation. Maintaining the optimal, slightly alkaline pH is crucial for the proper function and regeneration of Rubisco. Deviations in either direction (too high or too low) disrupt the enzyme's structure, activation state, and interaction with its substrates, leading to decreased activity and impaired RuBP regeneration. (Lime/yellowing) Structural Component: Nitrogen is an essential building block for all proteins, and the sheer abundance of the Rubisco protein makes it the single largest storage of nitrogen in the leaf. Synthesis and Activity: Adequate nitrogen supply is crucial for the synthesis and maintenance of sufficient Rubisco enzyme and Rubisco activase (Rca), the regulatory protein responsible for maintaining Rubisco's active state. Nitrogen deficiency leads to a decrease in the content and activity of both Rubisco and Rca, which in turn limits the maximum carboxylation rate, Vmax, and the rate of RuBP regeneration Jmax, thus reducing overall photosynthetic capacity. Nitrogen Storage and Remobilization: Rubisco can act as a temporary nitrogen storage protein, which is degraded to remobilize nitrogen to other growing parts of the plant, especially under conditions of nitrogen deficiency or senescence. Nitrogen Use Efficiency (NUE): The allocation of nitrogen to Rubisco is a key determinant of a plant's photosynthetic nitrogen use efficiency (PNUE). In high-nitrogen conditions, plants may accumulate a surplus of Rubisco, which may not be fully activated, leading to a lower PNUE. Optimizing the amount and activity of Rubisco relative to nitrogen availability is a target for improving crop NUE. Photorespiration and Nitrogen Metabolism: Nitrogen metabolism is also linked to the photorespiration pathway (which competes with carboxylation at the Rubisco active site), particularly in the reassimilation of ammonia released during the process. To increase RuBisCO regeneration, which refers to the process of forming the CO2 acceptor molecule Ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate (RuBP) during photosynthesis, the primary methods involve optimizing the levels and activity of Rubisco activase (Rca) and enhancing the performance of other Calvin-Benson-Bassham (CBB) cycle enzymes. Biochemical and Environmental Approaches: Optimize Rubisco Activase (Rca) activity: Rca is a crucial chaperone protein that removes inhibitory sugar phosphates, such as CA1P (2-carboxy-D-arabinitol 1-phosphate), from the Rubisco active site, thus maintaining its catalytic competence. •Ensure optimal light conditions: Rca is light-activated via the chloroplast's redox status. Adequate light intensity ensures Rca can effectively maintain Rubisco in its active, carbamylated state. •Maintain optimal temperature: Rca is highly temperature-sensitive and can become unstable at moderately high temperatures (e.g., above 35°C/95F° in many C3 plants), which decreases its ability to activate Rubisco. Maintaining temperatures within the optimal range for a specific plant species is important. •Optimize Mg2+ concentration: Mg2+ is a key cofactor for both Rubisco carbamylation and Rca activity. In the light, Mg2+ concentration in the chloroplast stroma increases, promoting activation. •Manage ATP/ADP ratio: Rca activity depends on ATP hydrolysis and is inhibited by ADP. Conditions that maintain a high ATP/ADP ratio in the chloroplast stroma favor Rca activity. Enhance Calvin-Benson-Bassham (CBB) cycle enzyme activity: The overall rate of RuBP regeneration can be limited by other enzymes in the cycle. •Increase SBPase activity: Sedoheptulose-1,7-bisphosphatase (SBPase) is a key regulatory enzyme in the regeneration pathway, and increasing its activity can enhance RuBP regeneration and overall photosynthesis. •Optimize other enzymes: Overexpression of other CBB cycle enzymes such as fructose-1,6-bisphosphate aldolase (FBA) and triose phosphate isomerase (TPI) can also help to balance the metabolic flux and improve RuBP regeneration capacity. Magnesium ions, Mg2+, are specifically required for Rubisco activation because the cation plays a critical structural and chemical role in forming the active site: A specific lysine residue in the active site must be carbamylated by a CO2 molecule to activate the enzyme. The resulting negatively charged carbamyl group then facilitates the binding of the positively charged Mg2+ion. While other divalent metal ions like Mn2+ can bind to Rubisco, they alter the enzyme's substrate specificity and lead to dramatically lower activity or a higher rate of the non-productive oxygenation reaction compared to Mg2+, making them biologically unfavorable in the context of efficient carbon fixation. The concentration of Mg2+ in the chloroplast stroma naturally increases in the light due to ion potential balancing during ATP synthesis, providing a physiological mechanism to ensure the enzyme is activated when photosynthesis is possible. At the center of the porphyrin ring, nestled within its nitrogen atoms, is a Magnesium ion (Mg2+). This magnesium ion is crucial for the function of chlorophyll, and without it, the pigment cannot effectively capture and transfer light energy. Mg acts as a cofactor: Mg2+ binds to Rubisco after an activator CO2 molecule, forming a catalytically competent complex (Enzyme-CO2-Mg2+). High light + CO2) increases demand: Under high light (60 DLI is a very high intensity, potentially saturating) and high CO2, the plant's capacity for photosynthesis is high, and thus the demand for activated Rubisco and the necessary Mg2+ cofactor increases. Mg deficiency becomes limiting: If Mg2+ is deficient under these conditions, the higher levels of Rubisco and Rubisco activase produced cannot be fully activated, leading to lower photosynthetic rates and potential photo-oxidative damage. Optimal range: Studies show that adequate Mg2+ application can enhance Rubisco activation and stabilize net photosynthetic rates under stress conditions, but the required concentration is specific to the experimental setup. Monitoring is key: The most effective approach in a controlled environment is to monitor the plant's physiological responses e.g., leaf Mg2+ concentration, photosynthetic rate, Rubisco activation state, and adjust the nutrient solution/fertilizer to maintain adequate levels, rather than supplementing a fixed "extra" amount. In practice, this means ensuring that Mg2+ is not a limiting factor in the plant's standard nutrient solution when pushing the limits with high light and CO2. Applying Mg2+ through foliar spray is beneficial to Rubisco regeneration, particularly in alleviating the negative effects of magnesium (Mg) deficiency and high-temperature stress (HTS). While Mg can be leached from soil, within the plant it is considered a mobile nutrient, particularly in the phloem. Foliar-applied Mg is quickly absorbed by the leaves and can be translocate to other plant parts, including new growth and sink organs. Foliar application of: NATURES VERY OWN MgSO4 @ 15.0g L-1 in a spray bottle. For those high-intensity workouts when 1 meal a day is just not enough! Foliar sprays are often recommended as a rapid rescue measure for existing deficiencies or as a supplement during critical growth stages, when demand for Mg is high. Application in the early morning or late evening can improve absorption and prevent leaf burn. The plant was getting a little limey yellow in the centre. Shortly thereafter, she was back in business, green mostly regenerated. The starting point [of creativity] is curiosity: pondering why the default exists in the first place. We’re driven to question defaults when we experience vuja de, the opposite of dĆ©jĆ  vu. DĆ©jĆ  vu occurs when we encounter something new, but it feels as if we’ve seen it before. Vuja de is the reverse—we face something familiar, but we see it with a fresh perspective that enables us to gain new insights into old problems. Confidence is evidence... nothing more. Took them outside because it was a sunny week, looking good so far. I take them outside as much as I can because I'm still worried that the 10€ light bulb won't be enough powerful.

Everything goes more purple during this 5th week!! Devil cream is developing bud quickly and she is definitely the most rapid plant I’ve ever grow till now. Since I put her outside she was attacked by different kinds of pest, but she is like a rock and seems don’t have problems with them, however I removed 2 or 3 damaged leaves. I’m using neem oil on the soil to avoid bread flies and I washed the leaves with marseille soap, seems working great! Purple is spreading more and more and she is super lovely to see ā¤ļø It is funny to see differences between same strain plants grown in the same environment, this one is tall and is developing dark purple buds, second one and third one have light purple mixed with green buds with beautiful pink and purple pistils while the last one is totally green and very short Compared to its sisters!! I’m falling in love with these amazing colors and we are just at the start šŸ’ŖšŸ”„

4/9: Frost really coming in and she’s getting funky 4/10: I opened her up a little with HST and bamboo stick tie-downs to hit the center, fed her going to check in again in 2 days to see the progress. 4/12: My spreading her open I did a few days ago actually did help the center out and will pay off in the long run. She’s getting sticky and the calyxes are swelling up. The buds haven’t really fattened up in the last few days just got bigger length wise. 4/13: I might have fucked around and made her herm on me....I gonna wait and see what happens the next few days/weeks

Well they definitely made progress in the flowering dept over the weekend! I came back home to find a nice amount of bud sites and pistil growth all around. Bubba ya gotten so big it can’t fit under my lights in the tent with fan & filter, so it’s now been moved to the other tent. Kind of fucks with my auto grow I had planned, but not much I can do

03/01 Wow, I’m honestly blown away by how this grow is progressing! In the last 24 hours alone, they’ve guzzled an incredible 45 liters of water. 😲 I mean, seriously, that’s insane! The stretch is probably just about wrapping up, so I’m keeping busy tying them down for now. Once the stretch is over, I’ll be going in for some selective pruning—there are just so many new shoots popping up. I’ve got to say, I’ve never seen growth like this before. It’s exhausting, though, and I’ve already run out of zip ties again! šŸ˜‚ So, tomorrow’s mission: stock up on more. I’ve noticed a few slightly discolored leaf tips here and there, but it’s really minimal. That’s exactly what I’m aiming for—pushing them right to the edge without overfeeding. šŸŽÆ Also, I just realized it’s been over a week since I added any CO2. Maybe that’s why I’m seeing these tiny signs? šŸ¤” Something to experiment with moving forward. Honestly, I’m so curious to see where this grow takes me—there’s so much potential in these plants! Stay tuned, folks. šŸŒæšŸ’Ŗ 06/01: Last night, I started defoliating, and I really went at it with a ruthless approach. I didn’t worry about branches snapping while scrogging—my philosophy is simple: the strongest will survive, and the weakest will wither away. Survival of the fittest in action! I also noticed that one plant seems to be either too wet or too dry. I’ll need to keep an eye on this one because there’s quite a bit of dying foliage at the bottom. My gut tells me it’s slightly overwatered, although that shouldn’t really be an issue with coco. Still, better safe than sorry! šŸŒ±šŸ’Ŗ

Hi guys, the third week of flowering is over. The plants have grown a lot, almost a meter. Today I sprayed plagron's 'vita race' for the last time and now I just have to wait for the tops to swell. The temperatures drop at night to a minimum of 14 degrees, which is why I lowered the power of the fans, to try to raise the temperature by a couple of degrees. The humidity is still at 50%, I will try to lower it in the last 3 weeks of flowering. I hope I'm doing a good job because I want to collect as many buds as possible.

- Day 57 Watering day. Gave 3 Liters today, see how fast she'll drink that up. Day 59 Not much too report other than that the buds keep bulking up for now ^^. Day 61 Gave her another 2.5 liters today pot was fully dry after 4 days, so gave her a bit less this time. She smells great, very deep smell, almost smells like tobacco somehow, but sweet. Buds still have quite a few white pistils so she will still take a few weeks to finish I think. Day 63 Buds are definitely still bulking up šŸ˜ definitely strong buds, very colorful and got a really nice smell going. I removed some yellowing leaves today and my fingers got stiiiiicky.

So this week the plants streched like crazy, the NL started to flower too and has actually become taller then the other 2 plants, even though its technically 2 weeks behind. the strange thing is its way more spacious then the packed Diesel.... it'll be fun seeing how they match up in the end! My new fan and dehumidifier solved the RH issue I had and I crushed it down to under 50% now! Things are looking like they're on the right track.....fingers crossed! I wonder if there is anything else I can add , nutrient wise... i know I shouldn't overdo it but I'll play around a bit and see. Got rid of most bigger and medium fan leaves that i felt were blocking the bud-sites from getting light...again, not sure about if I'm going about this the right way, seems counter-intuitive to get rid of so much green but hey ...it helps greatly with lowering humidity and keeps the bottom of the girls nice and ventilated. I actually took off a bit more because it keeps growing shut. Update: got some big bud and overdrive from my local grow shop... I'll give it a try...

Plants looking happier week by week. Peach Tree and Gary Payton also got their haircut. I pushed the light up to 120W which matches the light intensity recommended by Sanlight for the stage. Will keep it like that until I flip to flower. Recharged the crystals while the sun was shining on the weekend.

Day 3 of 12/12, could of vegged this girl a little longer as she Germinated a few weeks later, still I'm happy with her. Roll on the next 65 days.

Ladies and gentlemen we are on day 82 and this girl is no more, through the loophole I can't find one clear trichome I understand the white hairs but I also understand the trichomes is what we go by.. also wanted to get her down because I was worried of possible root issues and did not want to ruin such a beautiful little plant.. Divine seeds has some great genetics this thing was topped and in such a small cup handled the training well and rewarded me with what I'm assuming is going to be between 28 and 35 grams so I'm thinking over a gram per ounce of dirt that's not too shabby.. I hope everyone in the contest is doing well and I hope everyone else is doing just as good.. we are all in this together, to be able to grow our own medicine at our own discretion and know what we're smoking is worth its weight in gold.. again big shout out to Divine Seeds for putting together this competition I thought I would do something a little different to stand out by doing a mini pot grow I don't know if it'll get me a trophy or not but it was sure fun growing it and was very beneficial to me in my personal development as a grower.. until next time folks and a month or so I will have the smoke report.. I tried to upload today for another strain and it wasn't working so hopefully grow diaries fixes the bug of not being able to update a smoke report.. happy growing everyone āœŒļøšŸ˜Ž ladies and gentlemen after 8 days of drying I trimmed her up today and as you can see from the video 46 g or 1.625 Oz which is extremely good considering the small amount of medium... Now I know during the cure I will probably lose around 1/8 of my total weight but still I will be definitely over 40 grams my guess will be at least 42 to 43 .. now for 28 Oz of soil I could not be happier.. between the genetics being great and the plants loving my feeding remedy all has been well.. I want to thank Divine seeds for throwing such an awesome contest and giving us enough time to do it right and also for providing the seeds but not just that they really hooked it up.. Big ups to them and I have more genetics that I will be running from them in the future.. hope everyone is doing well good luck to everyone in the contest and to everyone happy growing āœŒļøšŸ˜Ž

things are still on the go..Looking at the tricomes the are still clear with hints of cloudy.. Coming along pretty well. Im just watering with plain water now and just enough for a light runoff. Ec is low already and I don't think I can get it to anything less. Just doing routine maintenence this week. There has been no change in the colour of the leaves and this is the 11th day of. plain water.. Its all a waiting game.. I also changed the light schedule to a 11-13...... its supposed to help in trichome ripening... I hope. šŸ˜€ The vanilla Kush looks ready but I'm not sure. If anyone has an opinion on how much longer please share
