The plants are happy and on cruze control. Apart from daily defoliation I'm just letting them do their thing. No nutrients or boosters have been added this week🤙 Ok and still contending with bladdy LOAD SHEDDING !!!!!! 2-4 hours of electricity turned off by Eskom NATION WIDE!!! I'm currently sitting in the pitch dark tying this🤙 Google it.. totally sucks

Girls had a great week at summer camp! Smiles are found everywhere regarding their new homes. Plenty of room to grow and wiggle their toes in the amended formula 707, which is doing what was expected retaining moisture nicely, bringing the watering to a minimum. All three girls received merit badges for hiking(survived transplanting), water sports(2 liters), light tolerance(supplemental lighting), physical fitness(color and strength)and kite flying(added a fan). They are all looking forward to this weeks activities. Girls seem to like what they’re getting at the chow hall, green and growing daily, strong and upright. Plenty of good stuff in the soil. A fan was added and the benefits are three fold, dry out the top layer of soil, pest control, makes them stronger. I will update as needed. ***update, the girls are looking good this morning, well rested, well nourished, vibrant. Their roots must be really liking the 707 as evident by the rapid growth. Measured them this morning with the H. W. At8 in. the V. F. at 8.5 and the 91 Grapes at 10 in. And at least an inch wider as well. No water will be needed today. Note. The greenhouse may be better suited for growing mushrooms than cannabis. Pine trees and shade. No direct sunlight until after 2pm. Dappled sun all morning long, so installed a T-5 4 foot ArgroLed 6550(k) daylight led fixture above the girls. That was a bright idea! ***update, New Video includes new homemade lighting. *** update, new videos. Before 7/14 After 7/15 videos of the girls being sprayed with a folier dose of silica. I had forgot to add the silica on Sunday when I had watered them and they needed it! I would not be able to water them again until at least Friday so delivered it via a foliage spray. Worked wonders , will apply again in a week. Day 43/Flower Day 15 - Stretch, stretch and more stretch. Literally have all my headspace taken up and that’s using flat LED Bars! It’s not for want of light, these things HAVE to be getting a DLI over 45 now if not near 50 (I need to do a test)!!! Defs going to invest in 2 Royal Blue LED Bars for next grow. As soon as I bend over/tie down one set of big pushers, another pair start up that were not being shaded/shadowed by the previous set. Worried too with the stretch being as severe, the yield will suffer! As noted in comments, will be venting the building the grow tent is in better very soon but when I can get that done is another thing!!! Looks like I am going to have to pull my extraction out of the tent and run a blow through the carbon filter and get some more ratchet hangers to give me an extra 9"!!! Has to be Heat/Humidity and then the feed from the lights giving them what they need. Luckily, I am due to be receiving a 6" AC Infinity Setup tomorrow so may be the way to set it up just for the last 8 weeks of the grow. Also had 2 brand new RAM 7" Oscillating fans pack up within a few hours of each other...not 4 weeks old and they're done! The Sweet Cherry Pie defs not setting buds as quick as the Red-Hot Cookies...they look a few days to a week behind. This also probably means the last of growing different strains in the same tent! I don't have the space/means to set up a drying tent and need to use the grow space for that so need them to finish the same time. Both these are supposed to be a same week finisher but with the slower budset, I don't know - I could over-ripen the RHC or take the SCP when a bit under. Basically, that's it though. Nothing more to report other than things I have to engineer to get around! From the looks of it, I'll have no room to get my UVB tube in when the time comes but, dunno...we'll see. Have upped the Bloom Nutes now to be higher than the base to fuel the initial flower set. Have a bit of lower leaf fall off from lack of light/plants using the reserves and probs going to have to do a bit of a defoliate by the end of the week to settle humidity and have them top buds concentrated on. Apart from that, Happy Growing all!!! 💪

💧 Week 10 – Flush (10 Days) Final flush week went smoothly. Used Advanced Nutrients Flawless Finish to help clear excess salts and nutrients from the medium, then followed with clean RO water to let the plant fade naturally. Leaves gradually lightened in color, water uptake slowed, and buds continued tightening nicely. Trichomes reached mostly cloudy with a touch of amber — right in the harvest window I was aiming for. Aroma stayed strong and clean through the entire flush ❄️🔥 Kept RH low with steady airflow to protect resin and avoid any late-stage issues. Flush completed and the plant was fully ready for chop ✂️🌿

D65: Tried taking some pictures with the macro lens. I'd say the majority of the trichromes are cloudy with some still clear and the occasional amber ones. Will keep track of the evolution. D70: Buds keep getting bigger, the main cola is starting to look like one big, consolidated bud. Trichromes remain mainly cloudy, with some still transparent and some amber ones. Also gave her a flush (10l), since I think she'll be ready for harvest in at most 2 weeks. Next watering, I might add molasses a last time. Smell is strong and really sweet, reminds me of vanilla a little.

This was the girls last week! I decided to call them finished on day 63 the tricomes are almost all cloudy, with a small amount of amber. I’ve learned that they continue to degrade as you dry and cure your flower, so I’m trying something new for me, and pull them a little earlier than I usually would. In addition, after watching a podcast (Dude Grows Show) if you don’t know, check it out… I decided to run the lights for 18 hours instead of 12/12 for the last 5 days before harvest. The idea behind this, is to stress the plant enough to increase its natural sunblock/protections, which would be terpenes and tricomes just before you harvest, while also possibly quickening the finishing time for your plant. The group was discussing the benefits of this (listed above) while some already had implemented these practices when finishing plants. The recommended time to run extra light time would be around the last 5-9 days of the plant, without having any nanners or weirdness happening with your plants. Anyways, they finished amazing, sticky, stinky and heavy ❤️ the Terps are crazy on these strains….Harvest details to come. Thanks for stopping by 💚🇨🇦👊

Day 106. Joe is well behind, trimmed her a bit, catching up, but only 8 days left till harvest, will be week or so too early for normal time i guess... smells of rubbed leaves reminds very specific strain, cant recall yet ... very sticky already, bottoms miss light and penetration a lot ! But bulks ;) i see signs of fade starting too. Watered today, one more left. No work needed, just waiting ;) Mars TSL2000 is a bit too far in my mind, but stil gives enough power for Joe to have nicely stacked bottom parts. Good light , no doubts ! Happy Growing !!!

Ultimately I want to go full organic but time is life's richest commodity, so it will probably be a few seasons before I get their. Also I don't have a drying setup which is a problem for this next run which is in week-1 rn (I go week one staring veg in my calendar). For drying / curing, I'm looking at fitting out a second hand wine fridge as I cant spend heavy on the Cure Puck or any of those auto fridge setups. Who knows maybe they come down in price. Day 10: They have been growing nicely. Beautifull green leafs, no deficiencies or stress. I did some Defoliation and I'm planning to top some plants but not all of them since they make nice main colas as well. Also nice roots so far, will let those grow for another 1-3 days before repotting them into 7L pots. While doing that I will add some new clay for beneeth the pots to have a good run-off. I will add some mycorizza as well to improve the roots and I will water them again with lots of Regulator(anti-stress) and Rhyzotonic( root stimilator). Some days after that, they are ready to get pushed into flowering. Sativas like to grow twice and sometimes even more in size. So the size which they are at the end of this week will be enough. So at the end of this week you will see them being in 7L pots and in a bigger grow space under lots of lamps. There are like 3-5 plants not growing nicely. Might have to kill them. I'm not going to waste time,energy,nutrients on those if they don't grow in size in a couple of days. So might end up with just 235 plants. Il update again at the end of this week. Day 14: I almost finished the rest of the grow room. I still need to adjust and replace the lamps some more and other things. Did many defoliation below the plants. Thoose branches are never going to preduce nice and thick buds anyways. Such a waste of energy and nutrients. Because of the removing of branches and leafs, They get a better airflow and better exposure of light as well. So for now they look a little bit ugly haha and not so bushy anymore, but they will grow into fine looking ladies. I kept 5 or 7 branches each plant and some bigger plants I even topped because I don't want them to stretch alot. Another reason is that I want bigger stems. If other plants that didnt get topped, not improving stems I can still top them until the end of week 1 of flowering. I'm putting them into flowering, by putting the lightschedule to 12hours of light and darkness. It will take a few days before they start preflowering. The first buds will be seen in like 10-14 days. The lady has developed wonderfully 😊. The buds keep getting thicker and smell better :-). This week I added 1 g GHSC enhancer per l Coco. in total it was poured twice with 1.2 l each time. Fresh osmosis water was prepared and filled into canisters. The tent was completely cleaned and each plant was checked individually under the magnifying glass. Otherwise a few little things were done like yellow boards against sciarid mosquitoes and blue boards to prevent tripods. have fun with the update. Lemon Cherry is maturing very fast, already looks, like i could harvest it very early now, but i do not. Both producing a lot of smell now, Lemon Cherry is more Cookie like, Papaya has a very fruity smell. 😎
