WEEK 7 (Day42 - 48) The training has proven effective for all plants. I continuously defoliate them at the beginning of flowering. This strain has a very compact growth form, almost resembling a bonsai. Nevertheless, all the shoots are covered with dense flower pistils. I think this strain is ideal for small grow spaces. The current growth suggests a really strong, compressed flowering pattern, and I believe these plants will deliver solid performance in the coming weeks. As for the values, I have increased the VPD to 1.2 kPa and raised the light intensity to 650 PPFD.

It's just officially week 8 day 56 fron flip. Been on 10/14 schedule this week too. My select strain i kept clones of are very vigorous and u can still see some hairs on leaves. Also perfect buds. Early cut test makes u go in another universe. Both are sweet but the select one is mossy n sweet hint cheese maybe thats the best one. Other one is sweet af even before cure like skittlez but the shape n yield aint good foxy n small :( the other one has a taste that is rare and denser very long trichomes. Anywho from here i givem non npk goodies then ro flush few days before chop. If they are not finished b4 contest to mt taste, ill harvest like half of the branches or something....they'll get their pics and ad.

2023-03-15 All of the Plants had male Flowers, too one could be saved, in just removing the Male Flowers and stripping her , so 2 Branches remained These 2 branches turned out very frosty she smells like acid Lavender and some diesel

Week 2 into flower and she is doing well. Lots of bud sites! Dropped the light to 13 inch, around 800 PPFD. RH is around 40%. I gave her 2 L of water and green rush nutrients. Nothing much. Happy Growing!

2/8 Week 13 ! Her drinking is falling, almost a quart less today. Moving into flush range as the hairs are beginning to curl and seeing some small showings of amber. Reducing the Bloom nuets to 5ml until I see its time to change again, increasing PK slightly. Prob two days then go to full PK (15ml) to take her into flush. Plan a fast flush with an agent to speed things along. 2/9 Fed 5ml/gal CT Bloom A/B 12ml/gal Peak Another day 2/10 Leaving feeding as is, building nicely leaving the plant positioned as is think this is the best compromise between all the plants in the tent. Not sure how long this will go at this point, but not cutting her short for anything. Pics 2/12 Beginning to back off the PK leaving the CocoTek at a low dose. Plan to have the PK gone in a day or so but leaving the CT until flush. Just following some new ideas on using PKs and Finishers. Due to some issues, one is on this grow (I need to increase potency on Tara), changing out the HPS for MH for a while, may finish under it depends on the other grow. Looking at the trics I have decided to drop the PK and go to normal levels of Bloom nuets until flush. Continuing to keep her cleaned out as much as needed so light gets all the way down. 2/14 Pics of the rearranged tent to end the week, Realize now how much time switching the lights to 12-12 has added to Tara's finishing time. Had no real choice but its a point learned. Happy with her progress

W11F7 8/17-23 HARVEST 8/19 This past week has been rainy and overcast from a tropical storm with temperatures mostly in the upper 80s. We had Hurricane Erin with wind gusts of 30-40 MPH. While we won’t be directly hit by the storm, we will get the outer bands of heavy winds and rain. To protect my plants, I brought all the girls inside on Tuesday in preps for the storm. I inspected each one for bugs, rot or anything unusual. I did not find any bugs or bud rot on AK47. The leaves have some wind burn but that doesn’t affect the plant in any way. Auto AK-47XL is 59 days from germination. Divine Seeds indicates it is ready for harvest from the end of August to early September. 8/19 AK-47XL Auto grew outside until harvest today. I put her in the 3x3 in the dark for 3 days and cut her and hung her on August 23rd. Trichomes were mostly milky with only a few amber so it was time to harvest since AK47 is sativa and I don’t want a sedative effect. The smell is woody and piney with only a hint of citrus. From what I see and smell AK47XL should be a nice wake and bake vape. I can’t wait.

Tangie'Matic growing nicely, as expected. Really excited about growing this stain again at the end of my growing cycle. Tangie'Matic was one of the first strains I grew last fall and I really liked the results. But I'm hoping for even better results now with a few grows under my belt. I feel like I've learned a lot over the past few months. Hopefully it pays off here.👍

I had to remove some yellowing leaves... I am not sure if the plant is just too tightly packed around the edges or if I am not feeding her enough nutrients. I have started giving her BioBizz Grow (1st last night) since I've read it is mostly just molasses and should be supplied not only during "growth" - e.g. the vegetative phase. On the buds - the leave edges have started to turn a nice shade of purple. I usually only water exactly the required amount - so 1l for my 15l pot. At the beginning of this week I decided to do a small flush - as per grow question recommendation. I only used 25l to my not completely full 15l pot (I am guessing 10-12l earth) with rain-water and checked the runoff: PH=6. PPM dropped from 1800 to <400ppm at the end. She has started to smell very tropical the last few days... With humidity levels hitting 80% outside - my little 25W dehumidifier can't keep up... I keep my fans on and hope for the best. Soil is still wet from the flush - might try the Seedhunter's recommendation and not water for 5 days. Looking back - I really should have noticed the whitening tips 2 weeks ago... last week I should have made the connection of "burnt leaf tips = overfeeding" - but nooo. =) I have been making the same mistake as with my last grow - I watered exactly what she was drinking... 1l/24h. So salt could build up and the magic marker is 10 weeks. This is when "watering wrong" shows... Day 87 (Friday): still no signs of drought stress so I will water with low nutrients maybe tomorrow... Happy palindromic 4202024. To help celebrate I’m starting a couple of Euphoria seeds and making the first diary entry of the season. This year i’m doing two photoperiod plants, starting today, and two autos that I’ll start in mid-May. Apr 22: moved into soil after about 48 h in 25 C water in the dark. Have a ripe apple beside the seeds under the foil because apparently the ethylene gas that is given off helps. Science paper I happened across last winter - will post reference when I remember. Apr 25: removed foil (and apple) and left on a 25 C heat mat beside a light that is going for tomatoes and peppers. Weak light, warmth, and high humidity is what they need at this stage.

12week Leaf started like mutating into like a claw and some leaf don't have the same amount but I think she doing good. Almost finishing week 12 buds are getting size now getting a little bit dense

Flower starting to form now for the fast buds the white widow is miles behind and so is the ww, first time in a new room & the mega pots has resulted in plants to big for my room the autopot ones look alot better tho get there eventually 😎soon hopefully the purple lemonade smells incredible.

This one is going to be weirdly exciting like all grows… but nothing beats growing strain you know nothing about down to to it’s ID. This is why this diary is dubbed Unknown Strain, and a lot more journals will be dubbed unknown strain. eg. Unknown Strain #1 - these strains are seeds I’ve collected and forgot to catalogue Unknown Strain (dealer/grow name #1) - I have it this way,to indicate where or from whom did I get the seed, but failed to get the accurate information regarding the strain. Alike this particular diary. I received seeds from my friend saplug16.20_exotic_genetics. Check out his work on instagram, his my mentor in growing. But I go overboard when it comes to growing. Ever since I’ve seen YouTube videos of growers growing weed plants like bonsais, I started growing my plants like I am growing actual bonsais, LST them in shapes and size while using defoliation and topping to achieve aesthetics. This type of growing is not focused on yield more for the hobbyist who grows for themselves and close friends. But I want to see if I can get more yield with this type of growing bud.
