Switched to flushing on monday morning, watered 1.5 gallons of distilled water only through the soil each morning. For those who do not believe in flushing your plants, remember in elementary school when you added dye to the water of flowers and visibly saw them change colors? Same idea. I have been checking the maturity of the resin heads closely under 60x magnifying. Turned off the lights for good on her last night (Wednesday), planning to leave her in the dark a few days (72ish hours) and then planning to harvest a few hours before the lights would have turned on. For my first indoor grow, my own custom living soil build, massive amounts of cover crops, only aact (actively aerated compost tea) with natural farming inputs, and some ferments to boot I think this is one amazing plant. Looking forward to drying her for a few weeks the splitting her in to multiple jars to test 30, 60, and 90 day curing with a 4th jar to smoke from when I get impatient.

Day 43 12/08/24 Monday Feed today, it was warm again so they drank the whole 300ml each so I have topped up another 150ml to see run off to prevent salt build up. I got a week and a half notice that I had to go on a work trip out of country for 10 days, so the clown show continued. I was definitely overwatering them. Thanks @shinsimilla, I saw the difference after waiting a few extra days. Also, I definitely should have started LST at least a week earlier than I did. Now for work issues: I found an old security camera that the cats had knocked over a million times and damaged. With a lot of tape, I got it working again and set up in the tent so I could see what’s going on while gone. Be warned, the photos are NOT good quality. I also looked up DIY self-watering systems. I needed it as simple as possible to reduce the risk of something breaking while I was thousands of miles away. I found one where it wicks water up a cotton or wool string. Here's the link: https://youtu.be/P0hn5cKZ0Z0 I cut up an old 10K shirt that was made of cotton. I had just broken down my balcony garden since it’s already getting cold here. I took two long planters, lined them with a construction garbage bag to be the reservoirs. Even though the floor of the grow tent is waterproof and I put plastic between the floor and outside of the grow tent, I didn’t want to risk any water getting out while I was away. I was nervous y’all. Basically, you wet the fabric then use a chopstick to run the it through the plant from bottom to top. It needs to be long enough to have a few inches sitting in the bottom of the reservoir. I filled each with 3L of water with the BioBizz nutrients mixed in and ph’d to 6.1. More info in week 5.

Buds starting to grow throughout the room now having afew issues across the board on all plants with yellowing leaves and have concluded it is mag deficiency so will add call mag now see if they peek up until next week!

Plants are flowering and their height stays stable. I noticed that their leaves are really dark and smaller compared to other strains that I cultivated. 2x Night Queen Automatic : 41cm and 47cm (same as last week)

Will continue PK for one more day as time for the last push here now as upped nuets about 200ppm. PK ends Friday, nuets will drop back 200ppm at the same time. Stopped the PK booster and reduced nuets to get ready for flush next week. Day 10: They have been growing nicely. Beautifull green leafs, no deficiencies or stress. I did some Defoliation and I'm planning to top some plants but not all of them since they make nice main colas as well. Also nice roots so far, will let those grow for another 1-3 days before repotting them into 7L pots. While doing that I will add some new clay for beneeth the pots to have a good run-off. I will add some mycorizza as well to improve the roots and I will water them again with lots of Regulator(anti-stress) and Rhyzotonic( root stimilator). Some days after that, they are ready to get pushed into flowering. Sativas like to grow twice and sometimes even more in size. So the size which they are at the end of this week will be enough. So at the end of this week you will see them being in 7L pots and in a bigger grow space under lots of lamps. There are like 3-5 plants not growing nicely. Might have to kill them. I'm not going to waste time,energy,nutrients on those if they don't grow in size in a couple of days. So might end up with just 235 plants. Il update again at the end of this week. Day 14: I almost finished the rest of the grow room. I still need to adjust and replace the lamps some more and other things. Did many defoliation below the plants. Thoose branches are never going to preduce nice and thick buds anyways. Such a waste of energy and nutrients. Because of the removing of branches and leafs, They get a better airflow and better exposure of light as well. So for now they look a little bit ugly haha and not so bushy anymore, but they will grow into fine looking ladies. I kept 5 or 7 branches each plant and some bigger plants I even topped because I don't want them to stretch alot. Another reason is that I want bigger stems. If other plants that didnt get topped, not improving stems I can still top them until the end of week 1 of flowering. I'm putting them into flowering, by putting the lightschedule to 12hours of light and darkness. It will take a few days before they start preflowering. The first buds will be seen in like 10-14 days. After lots of perturbations, including visit from electricity company and moving 80cm-1m plants to another location in plastic bags 😅 we finally can start this run. Plants look super happy so far. They are all my best clones. This time I will try another cut of violet face and it will be probably the last time I grow her. I have coco jambo from. Anesia in another tent. This week went well, She is growing well, and I am planning to transplant her in about a week and a half to her final home which will be a 5.2 gallon airpot. Plants with best root growth are begging for soil and it shows. Another two clones is showing root sites. Qualitative change in root growth seen via week on week comparison. DAY 23: June 7 2018: Transferred two of the clones from the clone box to 1 liter pots with an living soil medium. Of the two, 1 will carry on using URB through the end of its life. DAY 25: June 9 2018: Drenched the soil medium of the URB test (orange pot) as a soil inoculation-- ratio of 0.8ml per liter of water...will apply whatever is left over to the base of the stalk.
