Surprised by how well the water is wicked to the medium from the water bottle, it took a long time, but wick works as intended. I was unsure how much if any nutrient would be transferred via wick but the high salt content altered pH at certain parts. Right before the symptoms arose I decided to supercrop the stem top to bottom on one plant, shortly thereafter the burning happened from the same plant from running 8.0 pH, and nutrient uptake ground to a halt on the plant that was dealing with stress. She doesn't seem happy. Remedied with aluminum sulfate, things seem to be coming back to normal. I need to be more careful with salts. I need MOAR knowledge. How many weeks shall we veg? Going to take a while to fill that canopy with just two plants, should probably start topping now but I'll wait until pH problem Is remedied first, a couple more days hopefully 🙏. I defoliated maybe 6 bigger leaves that had burned yellow on one plant, as it comes back to optimal range, this will be a good opportunity to observe the subtle differences that early defoliation can make. Added a pound of tourmaline powder and biochar, both increase soil urease and invertase activities. *2025 Didn't charge the biochar skewing my ph drastically. Urease is an enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of urea into CO2 and NH3 and is a key component in the nitrogen cycle in soils. Invertase (d-fructofuranosidfructohydrolase, EC 3.2.1.26) is the enzyme that capable both break down α-1,4-glycosidic linkage between d-glucose and d-fructose of sucrose and transferring αβ-D-O-fructofuranoside residue to an acceptor substrate (Toledo et al., 2019). Since tourmaline is widely distributed in the natural environment and has many excellent physical and chemical properties including radiating far infrared energy, permanently releasing negative ions, producing an electrostatic field, releasing rare microelements, and stimulating the growth and metabolism of microorganisms and plants, tourmaline had been conducted to alleviate potential environmental pollution. Perfect for how much seaweed I've added just incase.

Hey all sorry for the late update. Got really busy with work and just wasnt uploading. I had to cull phat Gary cause she was a genetic herm, I’m talking pollen sacks all the way up the main stem. I’ve seen a few stress sacks here and there on the lowers but nothing like this. I added a video of it so you might know what to look out for. It’s my first experience with exotic genetix and while I have heard of them having herm issues before, I have never had anything quite like phat Gary. But, on the other hand, this Gary Poppins #2 is the best smelling plant I’ve ever had. She smells like a straight strawberry soda, just this very fizzy strawberry scent. It’s unreal. Gary Poppins #1 has a similar terp profile, but not as loud and she’s frosty as ever. Both the perm marker s1’s are identical. Both look exactly like the perm marker flower I’ve bought from seed junky in the past. Very lime green buds with light oranges hairs. Smells just like a permanent marker. Couldn’t be happier with how this run is going, well except Phat Gary. Still haven’t decided on Exotic Genetix yet. I guess we will wait and see how Blueberry Gary comes out, she’s currently in week 6 veg. Shout out to the mad scientist Jbeezy though, this perm marker is unreal. When I saw he was releasing s1’s I couldn’t believe it. Gonna wash this entire run for some fresh frozen. I would absolutely love to get this Gary Poppins #2 smell to transfer to some live rosin. Will update this when we finish and I’ll make a diary for blueberry Gary and Gastro pop from compound genetics when I get a chance. Not as many photos these past few weeks because this and harvest are the most non-eventful. However, I can add that this variety of cannabis is EXTREMELY robust and vibrant despite light, nutrient and medium constraints! I get why growth is slowing; I've introduced far-red for EOD and BOD 15 minute regiments and I'm slowly decreasing light lengths instead of flipping(I don't want to stress out other plants in room). This is fine with me as not only this plant outgrown its area horizontally, I have roughly 20% vertical space remaining which should work out with flowering stretch. I didn't want to put flowering in this weeks journal despite obvious maturity(pistils are kool-aide red), the transition is slow but the past 3 days have been slow-er than past month. Lots of very lime green new growth which I've associated with a tad bit of light bleaching but actual leaves themselves show no signs of anything, I go back to when this plant was weeks old...it was very lime green then too so Boron, Molybdenum and Magnesium issues are out of the window. Same with iron. This plant is just fine but could use some UVa baths to pull out those phenotypical traits, a couple more days and my custom built board will be added to this room for 6hr increments. Otherwise, all is good. I could transplant but it's not showing it's rootbound. I could also raise my lights, I probably will tonight even though I've grown other plants 1" away with zero burn(around the led edges). I also have been feeding with McCormick(must be an old-school midwest thing) Strawberry Extract and as usual been seeing the plant respond, especially with "oops, too much" moments when using the blackstrap molasses! This micro area has a very humid(despite 45%Rh), dank, floral smell and when doing the rub test; this plant has a very fruity pungency to it. I like using molasses all the way through as when buds are harvested are much more dense, stay humid longer and have much more sugary kief. Rambling. Next week will have the 365nm UV, the results will blow your mind! Until then. Couldn't figure out the extreme lime green new growth despite almost perfect growing conditions all around, concluded light bleaching but never thought N or Iron deficiency. After transplanting, roots were pearl white, no rotting spots and very little soil showing. Good thing I amended heavily with 5-3-3 and 4-15-12 dry amendments and that blood meal I bought weeks back...3 days later the darker green is coming back! Lots of growth and it has a very distinct strawberry candy aromas when watered and when surrounding air is humid. I have also stopped using my 150w ceramic heater, temps hover 76°F to 80°F day and stay constant 66-68° nights. This plant has almost ideal growing conditions and you can see it's now focusing energy to forming sturdy bud sites. 2 more weeks until full blown flower 12/12 cycle but I cannot wait for this heatsink to get here for this UV light I've sourced. Klima durchweg sehr gut. Aufgrund von dem Umtopfen nur 2 mal reines Regenwasser und 1 mal Zusätze von Green Buzz. Den Ladies geht es auch ohne Dünger in dieser Phase hervorragend. Den Haupstamm HST um die Seitenteilen zu puschen. Lichtstärke auf 35 % erhöht bei gleichem Abstand von rd. 40 cm. Heute Licht auf 40 % erhöht. Ventilator im Zelt umgebaut um mehr Fläche zu generieren. In den nächsten Tagen wird das erste mal etwas grober entlaubt.

This week was very hot. They stressed a lot some heat stress and some fan stress that came up to uptake look down. The weedding cake was that must sofer. Shr was still recovering from that led issue...and she gets direct sun light in the hottest hour. Black cream in the other hand sofer a lot with fan stress bleaching the leafs in direct contact. Started the girls with some LST to see how they all coped and they bounced back well.

Poda apical hecha y brotes y hojas que no pintan na, fuera, a crecer 4 brotes con fuerza, que de estos sacaremos 8 y así sucesivamente. Esto de momento a la que nacio y arrancó sana, a la otra aún no, vamos a dejar que recupere un poco que está llendo muuy bien y con carrerilla. En sí ambas están creciendo muy bien. Seguramente la semana que viene le haga apical a la chunga que se está recuperando super bien. Edito domingo 22/02: cambio de armario, de luces y de maceta. El armario es la leche, se nota la calidad joder jajajajajaja es de la marca Vevor, poco conocida de momento... Pero dadle tiempo, uso también su extractor y de verdad que funciona de lujo y muy silencioso. Las luces las tengo a 300W ya que es lo minimo pero bastante alejadas, a unos 40/50 cm. Les llega una media de 11,12k de ppfd. Y lo dicho, trasplantadas a maceta todas.

Day 64, 22nd of November 2021: Hi there! Here we go..... so basically pistils are appearing stronger this is the 2nd weeks since they started producing pre flowers. The plants getting a bit light might be some air circulation problem? However they look good and of course closer to the end the gettin' older so the leaves also die. Set up and timing is the same since flower season started. ViparSpectra XS2000 is on full power which is 240W so 100% capacity. Ventilation: 12 hours period when the lamp is on it switches 1 hour on and after one hour off mostly to keep the temperature and of course because of fresh air flow. When the lamp is off it switches on in every 2 hours for 15 min at the same time with the extraction fan. The extraction fan is on 12 hours when the lamp is, and then it switches on in every 2 hours for 30 min. That's all a bit more water for them from today also. Humidity quite the same approx 50%, temperature as well approx 26-27 Celsius. Fertilization remains the same since last week, the BioBizz family raised up to be 2ml/L each so it is like 2ml/L of BioGrow, 2ml/L of BioBloom, 2ml/L of TopMax... see the ratio above. The schedule of the fertilization has not changed happnes 2x a week except epsom salt just 1x a week.

4ta semana de floracion,con un crecimiento notorio en los cogollos,( ya la planta ha dejado de crecer en "altura" para empezar a dedicarse a inflar los cogollos). El deterioro de las puntas de las hojas no avanzo, gracias a que baje el ph del agua de 6.5..a 6.1,en la semana siguiente le bajare la base de Grow de 3ml a 1ml ,para quitarle el posible exceso de nitrógeno, veremos que sucede con estos cambios,faltan muchas semanas por delante pero creo que va por buen camino.

Flowering day 35 Today the tent was cleaned, the humidifier refilled and both plants sprayed with Canna Cure :-). Flowering day 36 Both were poured today with 1.2 L per pot 🙂. Both were also checked for their health and pests 👍. Everything looks great 🙏🏻. Flowering day 37 Again the tent was cleaned and fresh osmosis water was filled into canisters. Flowering day 38 Today 1.5 l per pot was poured so that some drainage comes out again. therefor two days are not poured 😋. Flowering day 39 The tent was cleaned, the humidifier was filled, both plants were checked for vitality and the entire electronics were checked for functionality.
