It is almost boring to photograph vegetative plants, they are all the same. it is in bloom that the quality of a genetics is determined, and now the fun begins... so far the plants have shown no deficiency and no abnormal growth. You can clearly see the difference between the fertilized plant and the non-fertilized one, but I will make the necessary observations at the end of the cycle. these will be the last plants I grow with the "classic" method. In the future only Canamatoes style 🍅🍀 (look for it here on Growdiaries, one of the best growers I know) there is little else to say at the moment about these beauties. Good luck for all! 💚 ------------------------------------------------------------------- #10/01/2025 I’ve prepared my Super Soil mix, and it’s now cooking until I start germination, which will be in about 3 weeks. ------------------------------------------------------------------- #03/02/2025 For germination, I leave the seeds in a bottle of water for 12 hours, then transfer them to a paper towel until they sprout a root. This method has worked well for me! ------------------------------------------------------------------- 04/02/2025 I’ve transferred the seeds to the paper towel method! Now it's time to Pot preparation! For my pots, I use a three-layer method, filling each layer while shaping them with different-sized pots: - First layer: Super Soil - Second layer: Regular fertilized soil (BatMix by Plagron in this case) - Third layer: A light soil with mycorrhizae (Seeding Soil by Plagron) ------------------------------------------------------------------- #05/02/2025 I’ve planted the seeds! I'm using a cheap LED light from Amazon just to kickstart germination and gain a few extra days to finish flowering the plants in my tent. As soon as they sprout, I'll transfer them to the tent, where my old but fantastic Electric Sky 180W is waiting for them! ------------------------------------------------------------------- #08/02/2025 Two of them have already germinated, but one still hasn’t. I’m struggling with low temperatures, as it's been only 12°C during the day and between 3°C and 7°C at night. Unfortunately, I had a bit of bad luck—my lamp fell onto the pot, disturbing the soil and seeds of two plants. One of them is the one that hasn’t germinated yet. Just in case, I’ve put two more seeds in the paper towel method as backups. If I don’t need them, I’ll give them to a friend! 🙂 ------------------------------------------------------------------- #10/02/2025 I placed them in the tent on the 10th. Two of them germinated on the 8th, while the other was affected by the lamp falling. I’ll probably replace it with one of my backup seeds and offer #R03 to a friend, but it all depends on how things go in the next few days. ------------------------------------------------------------------- #12/02/25 I replaced the seed that went into shock with one of my backups. So, from now on, #R03 will be the backup seed, and it will be about a week behind the others. --------------------------------------------------------------------- #13/02/2025 The backup seed has sprouted! 🌱 ---------------------------------------------------------------------

Another week done, finished up week 6 of flowering, week 10 of the whole grow. The buds are continuing to fatten up, inching closer and closer to harvest. Noticed the first few Amber tricombs on some of the upper buds, going to be leaning off the big bud and switching to overdrive to help aid in ripening and the final bulk. I’d like the run them another 4 weeks giving them a full 9-10 weeks in flower. But will judge harvest on a near 45/55 or 50/50, Cloudy/amber tricomb production.

Her flowers are forming nicely this week! A few more weeks to go yet.

(12/18-12/24) Days 15 to 21 Hope everyone enjoys the pictures. I will try to add a video and black back or cover pics by end of week every week. Week 1 Notes & Observations: Plant 1 and 2 have been showing nice steady growth. Both seem to have similar phenos so far, so Im looking forward to a nice straightforward grow and training with minimal variants. They will be kept in these containers until week 4+ 12/24 - fed both plants 4 cups purified water. I added 100ppm of veg mix concentrate (recipe above) added .25ml of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0). PH balanced water to of 6.55ph. I got about 2 cups of runoff from each plant and it was 6.25ph. I will be topping next week. I also topped the first set down to the 3rd node on each plant.

The autos are all doing pretty good, some minor deficiencies from early on but seem to be doing much better now since I got the new bottle of calmag. They probly have another 3 weeks left I'm guessing they are fattening up nicely tho.

Only the gorilla glue from fast buds made it smells danks think I need more direct light next year i did have a tantrum when I saw most of them died so haven't bothered going up for this since then

6/17 - Watered today. 5 days since last watering. Made sure to add water slowly to the cups, as the medium I'm using is a coco/peat based medium, and I realize that peat becomes hydrophobic when it dries out, and the top was close to that. By watering pretty slow, it allows more of it to be absorbed vs just running through. Both Chinook Haze plants have 3 nodes already, and are starting their 4th. 6/18 - I watered yesterday, then life hit, and the plants were without lights for just over 24 hours. Looks like the newer area started to yellow a bit, which I assume will green again within a day or two now that the lights are back on. 6/19 - Plants are looking good to me. There seems to be a lot less vein swelling, so it appears the chance of overwatering that looked like it was coming on a week ago is subsiding. Got to let them grow some more before I start to chop them up in an attempt to mainline. 6/21 - Plants will be watered tomorrow. Other than that, it is just slowly moving along, and I am considering going to 1g pots soon. I believe I am going to try to go from solo cup to 1g to 5g this time, and I think that by doing so, I might not need to fertilize at all during veg at least. I figure if I can get 3-4 weeks out of the solo cup, then similar out of a 1g, by the time I get to 5g, I will be close to 8-12 weeks, and close to flipping time. I have dimmed the lights a bit, and raised them close to 33" above the 2 Chinook Haze plants in hope to induce a little stretch between nodes, but they still seem to be growing fairly compact. 6/22 - Watered the plants today. Could have probably waited another day, but I figure 5 days between watering was enough, and the cups did feel pretty light.

Plants took a few days to get stripped down. Missed the second week of flowering and stretching but oh well there is always next time. Very excited to see this canopy full of uniform buds its going to be a sight to behold haha.

I will be focusing this diary on the smoothie strain but you’ll be seeing some other plants in the tent that are not the same strain. I only have room in this tent so bare with me. There are 2 Smoothie, 1 CNC, and 1 Stardawg (dog). The smoothie are the two bigger ones in the back of the tent. Now, the Smoothie from FastBuds is just killin it right now. Since I popped the beans they have done nothing but show signs of greatness. I don’t think this one is gonna slow down much either. I’m going to push these plants harder than my last harvest. I had a really really amazing harvest last time. I was even able to pull sap out of all 4 plants. 2 Zkittles and 2 LSD-25. This was all done by feeding at the right times and keeping a “moist” soil. Also I want add that I ran pretty much the entire line of Nectar for the Gods at a little less then the recommended ratios. This time I plan on going a tiny bit over the recommended ratios just to see what these plants will do. Trust me, if the plants have a bad response I will go back to the recommended ratios. The reason I want to do this is because I really think these auto strains can handle a lot more than a regular flowering cycle plant would. They can handle more stress, that’s for sure. When do you think I should add a compost tea into my regimen? Soon or wait till the plant is a little larger?

First week of flowering. Added a mixture of hydroponic nutrients, added a 50w lightbulb (for a total of 250w) and did some more and final defoliation; now she's ready to bloom at peace.
