Week 3 since we first put seeds in the dirt. Found out the hard way that's not really how we want to germinate our seeds moving forward. Had a pretty shitty success rate. I still have 300 seeds left so, live and learn. The ak by critical mass has taken off pretty well, the OG Kush is taking longer than we expected, the quarter pounder is moving along quite nicely and the Northern Lights, which are only a week old are still lagging behind. In the "clone room" the MKUltra is looking very nice, growing extremely fast and we will probably be putting those into flower in the next couple of weeks. We went ahead and chose a few of them for mother plants; we took 25 clones today and set them up on a rack with cob LED lights. We also started our mother plant seeds; Northern Lights, blueberry, white widow, and super lemon Haze. Hopefully those will pop in the next few days, and in anticipation we have added a small mother room (closet really) for them where we will hang 2 800 watt LED cob lights and one Mars hydro sp250 and veg those out until we can start taking clones. So she was chopped (wet trimmed) yesterday (F74) and is now hanging up to dry at 55% RH and temps between 15 and 18ºc. I made fresh frozen dry ice hash today using a 160 micron bubble bag, a flat surface, 8kg of dry ice and a couple 5 gal buckets. I already have the weights for that, which far exceeded my expectations. Those figures I will post once she is dried and in 1 quart screw top glass jars. People suppose dry ice hash is inferior quality vs bubble hash. I am not experienced enough to comment on that but must say it is extremely easy to make hash with dry ice, it took 40 mins to process 995g of trim which included sugar leaves, some stems and popcorn buds. I then pressed it into 3.5g briquettes for storage using a pollen press. As you can see from videos, this stuff is all blonde - and after already trying some today with some friends, it knocked our boots off! Will be back in 5-7 days with harvest figures, smoke analysis and other details! Happy growing all! Week 7 in the comedy of my garden journey, and my green squad has decided to embrace the art of being vertically challenged – they're like the plant version of a pocket-sized superhero team. "Short and sassy" seems to be their new motto. In an attempt to uplift their spirits, two of the ladies scored a new, roomier 3-gallon final home – it's like they moved from a cozy apartment to a botanical mansion, hoping a change of scenery would inspire some vertical ambition. They're probably comparing their new homes and deciding who has the fanciest leafy chandelier. However, the plot thickens as one plant emerges with a leafy fashion statement that's a bit too avant-garde – discoloration that could rival a Picasso painting. Is it a magnesium deficiency or an oxygen rebellion? The plant might as well be holding a tiny protest sign that says, "Give me answers or give me wilting!" Playing the role of a plant detective, I cranked up the fans, turning my grow tent into a botanical wind tunnel. It's like a leafy hurricane is sweeping through, and my plants are either loving the breeze or planning their escape. As a bonus, I threw in a leafy spa day – deformation and topping, because who doesn't love a good horticultural makeover? But wait, there's more! In the midst of the botanical sitcom, the humidity decided to play the villain in this leafy drama. It's like the humidity gauge is staging a rebellion of its own. So, armed with misters and perhaps a leafy motivational speech, I'm on a mission to turn my grow tent into a tropical paradise and give my plants the humidity vacation they didn't know they needed. Week 7 – where the plants are short, the homes are upgraded, the leaves are avant-garde, and the humidity is throwing a curveball. Day 51, 4th of November 2020: The 3rd day since the lamp switched to be 12/12... I raised up the nutrition intake as it can be seen above only the BioBizz family 2ml/l and removed some LST because the plant remains in shape or just set a bit but nothing significant.... She looks really good and strech is on the way..... Lovely shape 😅 Nothing really to report there is crazy 2-3 weeks from now ;) ;)

Both of my plants are suffering from nitrogen toxicity so my buds are very small and late flowering. I know what I’ve done wrong, I have been treating them like soil but I grow in coco so runoff is super important, I just learned that and it’s almost harvest time! Better luck next time I suppose 😂 Next time I will feed them to runoff every time and feed more often!! Schedule will be light feeding for now on, to avoid toxicity but I will keep an eye out for deficiency’s as well. This week will be the last four days I give her nutritions. She has like 3-5% amber, and pistils are 65% brown. So a 7-10 days flush will be good I think. I just need the growing space tbh so I need to rush her Day 94: last data with nutes, i will give her canna flush for 3 days then ph valences water for 5-7 more days Day 95: just started to flush her! She is slowly getting pink color calyxes haha and the thricomes also turning pink! She smells super nice! Very sticky plant!! Can’t wait to harvest her 😍🥦

Day 49-56 (Day 50) I hooked up my carbon filter to the humidity controller and it is keeping the room exactly at 65-70% RH night and day. It looks like it turns on about every 45 minutes for about 5 minutes so it allows me to run the co2 bag properly. I don’t even have to use my dehumidifier. The room is 100% dark now too. Even the small red lights on the space heaters. Not going to feed anything other than foliars this week. (Day 51) Blackberry #4 & #8 #9 and white widows #2 & #3 are all confirmed males. Chopped them down and recycled the soil. White widow #1 is the first official female and I’m starting to see pistils on the m39/zkittlez too. Plants seem to be responding to the light fairly well. It’s hung 32 inches above the canopy which is as high as it can go without strapping it to the roof, which may have to happen one day. The plant can get within 6 inches of the light so I’m probably good. The ppfd output is 1800umols which is super high so I want to hang them as high as possible in veg. I wish I could rent a ppfd meter to see if I’m in range at 32”. (Day 52) Blackberry breath #3 is the first official bbb female to show. I decided to scrap BCTG #2. It sounded like a good strain but after looking at pictures of people who have grown it online, it doesn’t look up to my standards. I found a very small patch of powdery mildew on one of the leaves so I’m not even going to start with that shit again. I’m really thinking about scrapping the m39/zkittlez and the white widow too. I’m praying that I get at least 4 females of BBB. I tried super cropping for the first time today. A few of the branches I definitely squished a bit too much as they turned quite brown and looked dead within a day. (Day 53) Despite the m39/zkittlez vigorous growth, I know it will be a shitty strain that will most likely herm as it’s from a bag seed of low grade weed. I’ve decided instead of scrapping it, I will use it for experimenting with a new chemical powdery mildew preventative. If it dies oh well. I doused it and chopped a limb off a few hours ago during lights on and it seems fine. (Day 54) I’m about 90% sure BBB 6&7 are both female. #2 & #5 are looking like males but too early too tell. #1 is really tough to say. Just gotta be patient I guess. #3 has a great spread out structure, I hope it doesn’t stretch too much. The scrogging is a priority. I put up the scrog net just to see how it fits. It’s a little small around the edges but that’s fine. So it’s looking like out the 9, I would be lucky to get 4 fems if #1 & 7 would show forsure already. If #1 is a female I have my 4 and I can throw out the white widow. The white widow is just insurance at this point. Super cropped plants have recovered nicely. Going to continue doing this more. I’ve noticed that the plants that were put into my custom soil mix have very small fan leaves compared to the fabric pots of straight promix and dry amendments. Could also be the fabric pot is helping dry downs too. (Day 56) I’m seeing some yellowing so I’m going to give a foliar spray just too keep some deficiencies at bay. All of the plants are stunted except the m39 and bbb#3. Node spacing has also reduced significantly. I can’t help but feel it’s from the intensity of my lights but maybe they just need a transplant into some new soil something. Luckily the stunt and droop is only really happening to what I suspect are male plants anyway. Leaves are looking twisted and gnarled on #5. Going to move it into the veg tent for a while. I’m going to mix up and amend my Destiny/coco blend today and transplant bbb#3 and 6 & 7 in a few days. I mixed them up in contractor bags making sure to toss and turn vigorously. Here is my blend: 2 bags 40L Destiny soil 2 bags 40L coco 700ml glacial rock dust 700ml oyster shell flour 700ml nature’s pride bloom 300ml basalt rock dust 150ml langbeinite 150ml nature’s pride veg I am also going to try the Destiny top dress as it’s only 13 bucks a bag and full of good shit. I’m trying to not feed heavy in flower other than 2 or 3 top dresses and 2 teas and nothing after week 5. Because it’s taken so long for the plants to show sex, when I transplant into the 10 gallon pots, they should have more than enough nutrients too keep them going strong all the way through flower with just water. I’m a little skeptical about that though. Besides teas and dressings are fun. Everything should be broken down by week 8 or so. Will transplant in a few days.
