3/14: Came back from a 4 day vacation to a lot of dry, wilted, dead leaves on Amnesia. Trainwreck is super starved as well. My automatic watering system didn't kick on, and the humidifier ran out of water within 24 hours, so there's that. It may be for the better though, as the PH of the nutrients had risen to 7.5. I tossed that mix, and made another 2 gallons of half strength nutes, molasses and epsom salt. I watered them both to runoff, and now I'll wait for Amnesia to prioritize which leaves she thinks are worth saving, and then I'll defoliate the dead ones. Hopefully trainwreck will just bounce back to green. She needed to be defoliated anyway, so this situation makes it easier for me to find the dead leaves. Edit: Came back to feed the last of the nutes and decided to pluck the crispy goners. I found that pulling the leaf stem downward will make the most dead leaves fall right off, allowing me to test a majority of the leaves and give Amnesia a major haircut. Luckily I left a lot of leaves from prior defoliation, as Amnesia REALLY sucked them dry. 3/15: Amnesia looks no worse for wear than last night. Trainwreck as well. Went ahead and pulled as many dead leaves off Trainwreck as I could. Some leaves were a mix of crispy brown and healthy green, which I think is pretty goofy, so I avoided taking any green fans but removed the crispy ones. The colors of the leaves around the buds are really fun to look at. 3/16: Amnesia is starting to SHED her dead leaves, allowing me to pick the leaves with almost no effort. I tested as many leaves as I could, giving another haircut. I would say this isn't a good thing, but since it's my first grow, I'm rolling with it. As long as Amnesia keeps the buds and its nearest leaves alive, it will slowly grow, albeit stunted. I'm not sure if this condition will cause it to finish sooner, but I'm going to need to watch the trichomes under a microscope every couple of days just in case she's ready for harvest. Trainwreck looks about the same as it did before. No new leaves are ready to be removed there yet. 3/19: Amnesia is still shedding leaves, but also bulking up. Trainwreck is slowly bulking up, and turning purple as well! Going to keep an eye on Amnesia's trichomes. Edit: because amnesia is yellowing so much, and because it's been 5 days, I'm going to feed both plants a quarter strength nutrient mix just in case I've been overfeeding them somehow.

dawgstar is doing awesome stretched out nice and focusing on flower production gave her a little strip and tucked some branches she's drinking like a horse 3l daily will start using bud candy next week at 0.5g perl very happy with her so far thanks for reading happy growing guys

Week 5 looking good! Easy going so far. No problems at all and still growing strong. Put on another few inches of height and signs of flowering have burst through. Starting to get a lovely sweet smell now

Welcome to the Smoking Tiki's hut! For this grow, I'm using some of the seeds I won at the Summer Buds contest from last year. I kept the seeds in my fridge door during one year. It worked very well because all the seeds successfully germinated after 48h! 😎 I used 3x3 seeds. I selected 2x3 seeds with the bigger root to put them in some pots. I will let them grow a bit and then select the 3 best plants to make it until the harvest. It's the first time I grow some Fast Buds under a light and in a controlled environement, I'm really curious to see how it turns out! My set-up: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Mars Hydro TSW2000 (300W). - Tristar fan (30W) - Greenmigo dehumidifier (155W). - Compo Sana universal soil (2x40l) - Timer - Weather station + pH meter Have a nice journey through my grow diary!

*=UPDATED=* Not to much to add this week, I plucked a lot of the lower leaves off to prevent them from getting to close to the growing medium and having some disease issues, plus increases some air flow. Also plucked a few of the top fan leaves that where blocking the lower buds from the light. Don't think this is proper defoliation so I did not check it off as a grow technique. The plants are really starting to smell more and get a lot of trichomes on them. When I'm in the case and smell each plant, they all have different terpene profiles. one is very lemon and pine with a hint of sweetness, one is quite sweet and berry like with lemon notes "my fav", another is just more so woodsy pine smell and the last one is mildly sweet smelling with something else I could not pinpoint. one setback is the case fan I was using died out, i think the heat inside the tent and operating for so long got to it, it was an older fan to start off with so not overly surprising. It started to have a hot electric smell to it, like wires or rubber getting to hot. I manage the case heat by propping its door open on a angle. still keeps temps at 25c (77f) Other then that I don't think they grew to big vs last week, one plant is starting to get some more purple in it, I like purple colour on buds. maybe the leaf plucking set it back a bit, can't imagine the plant would enjoy that happening to it. Trying to post little fly over videos every week of the case to give better idea of plants and what they are looking like. will try and get a macro lens closer to trichomes and see what they are doing in terms of clear cloudy and amber for next week, may give me a hint as if ill harvest week after that. *=UPDATE=* I didn't want to wait till next week to post trichomes so took some photos with a clip-on Macro lens for my phone, not the best but looks pretty cool. mostly all cloudy from what I can tell. one plant has a bit of amber on its sugar leaves but not its bud.

Hey Growers, End of week 3 from seed :) - From the start of the grow Ive been experiencing small issues with plant #2 but everyday I learn new things and try to figure out what she wants and try to adapt to it. looks like its working slowly. 1st time of transplanting, it was a success. 1st week of nutrients, I will feed 1/3 to start

Je me lance dans l'expérience du topping sur ma nouvelle plantation de cannabis. Bien que cela ne soit généralement pas recommandé pour les variétés automatiques, j'ai remarqué que de nombreux blogueurs le pratiquent. Après avoir obtenu de mauvais résultats avec la technique de LST (Low Stress Training), je me suis dit que je ne risquais pas grand-chose. Pour l'instant, je ne remarque pas de ralentissement significatif par rapport au LST. Cependant, lors de mon premier arrosage avec des nutriments, j'ai mis un 8e de la dose recommandée, ce qui a entraîné l'apparition de griffes sur les feuilles... Vraiment déconcertant, je cherche encore à comprendre cette réaction... Topping au 16 ème jour, 5eme noeuds. Engraissage : 1/8 de la dose et apparition de légères griffes sur les feuilles Merci de m'avoir lu 🌱

Week 1 Day 1 - Clones #1 and #2 are looking alright, not super strong and slight nutrient deficiency issues, but OK. Will just observe for now. - These clones are currently under a very mild CFL light (20 cm away and about 200 ppfd measured roughly by phone app - Tent Buddy.) - Clone #3 still need to be covered to maintain moisture. Yesterday I un-cupped the clone and it wilted a lot. This morning it looks better again after a night of rest under the plastic cup. - I've checked the run off and these clone's pH are so low, while TDS are so high (pH 5.7 and TDS 800pm). This evening, I flushed them with pH 6.5 water and brought the runoff to about pH 6.0 and 350 ppm) Week 1 Day 2 - Just foliage spray with mild CalMag this morning. Soil is still moist, so no watering. Week 1 Day 3 - Just minor watering today. Glad to see the clones are doing well as they are growing a bit everyday. Will transfer them to 3 gallon airpots with new soil mix soon. Week 1 Day 4 - Foliage spray with mild CalMag and Seaweed. Add 5ml of 250 ppm of balanced NPK nutrients AN B52 for each plant. Week 1 Day 5 - Foliage spray with mild CalMag and Seaweed. Transfer them to 3 gallon airpots. Week 1 Day 6 - Foliage spray with mild CalMag and Seaweed. Skip watering. The clones responded OK to the new airpots. Week 1 Day 7 - TBA

the week went well, it bends very well, does not break, despite the fact that it is not tall, it is very wide)

Voilà la fin d un grow super (super de part la recolte , super de par l odeur et le goût, super car ma plante n' à demander aucun entretien ou lst etc j adore cette strain et je pense la refaire très, très vite ;) La plante m'a donné 542g (humide mais déjà trimer en très grande partie ;) Et voilà après 2 semaine de séchage est venu le temp de la pesé qui m'a donné = 122gramme sec /d une plante je l attendait à plys que sa au vue de la taille de la plante (mais les bourgeons typé sativa ne sont généralement pas trop dense ) Mais la ou elle se rattrape c est au niveau de l odeur/du goût = sorbet à l orange/citron/citron vert très sucrée j adore vraiment !!! Et l effet est quand à lui vraiment à mis chemin entre sativa et indica se qui en fais une herbe pour toute heure et toute situation (comme toute les herbes :) Voilà on se revoit quand les 122g auront eu le temp de se bonifié 8 semaine à très vite les amis

Gave em another aggressive trim up some lollipops this week hopefully wasn’t too early but hey it’s we learn as growers, but they are bouncing back super nice, praying a looking happy y’all! Week 6 is here. Finally starting to see a little fade. Full force on her flowers. They are already rock hard beautiful bastards. Stripped some dead weight and bigger fans over sights. At this point in the game I'm giving a low grow feed and high pk for 2 more weeks then flushing. Should be a 9 to 10 weeker. Trichomes are massive. Day 40 she is showing pink and purple hues. Man even the clone is showing pollen signs! She smells super strong with berries. Day 41 more colors and denser buds. Expected harvest day, day 63. Next feed which I fed plain water today, will be a heavy pk boost. She can take so much at this point, she can take a half tsp of flower fuel. So week 6 flower start a heavier feed for a week 10 to 11 ending. If not expect week 9. Noted. Shes going to be an amazing mom. Let's see what colors we get our of her dense ass buds.

I currently have the ladies drying in my dry tent on day 3 now. I have my temperatures around 61-63 degrees stable, with 50-60% RH fluctuating. Will be updating the diary with weights once they finish drying and I get them all trimmed up! Thanks everyone for taking a look, super stoked with how my first run turned out and will be starting my second run in the next few days as well so super excited. I have learned a lot from this run and looking forward to implementing things into my next run to improve. Will also update more info about the strain once I have it for sure. Good luck with all your grows and best wishes! Dried for about 9 1/2 days. Just finished a 12 hour trim session, that was a lot. I ended up with 18.3 ounces of nicely trimmed buds, and a ton of larf and trim (26 ounces) which is fine because I will be dry sifting and pressing on the nugsmasher! I did press out a little and have some work to do to figure that thing out and dial it in. I have learned a ton from this grow and look word to applying to my current grow. I see and have a much better understanding of feeding, training, and now I kinda see what is and is not going to developed that much. Going to give these girls time to cure. Will update. This week the weather is better. the buds are getting fat and it is developing well. Its smell like citric mango.
