Lemon Cake week 18 7/28 - 8/4-10 I am late for my outside ladies diaries updates. Life has been getting the best of me lately. I’ve been packing my daughter’s room and moving her things to her new home. For those that have followed my since my beginning here, Cancer left me with neuropathy and arthritis in my hands. I can no longer do my glass fusing or flame work. To close this chapter of my life, I’ve been inventorying glass, tools, equipment, molds and supplies to sell. The most stressful has been appealing Medicare claims and receiving the second denials on the same claims. They are the last payer of record so good luck getting any reimbursement you are entitled to. My apologies to all of you for being so brief on your diaries and not providing many comments. Photos are from 7/28- 8/9 for both weeks. For my outside ladies, Opium, Auto Opium, Fractal, and Lemon Cake not much changed. They continue to live in sweltering conditions. Temps are in the upper 80-90s with humidity over 105. In addition to the heat, Hurricane Debby started up the coast but was downgraded to a tropical storm by the time it got to us. Expecting our normal thunderstorms, I waited til morning to bring the ladies inside. Overnight, we had wind gusts of 25mph. Yeah, then I brought all gals into the house. The photo gals are strong and with thick stalks were able to withstand the winds. I top dressed all ladies with Bloom Soil for organic fertilizer. Harvested at day 76, after 72h of darkness. Very good yield! 3.3 pounds of dry buds + 1 pound of trim The 2 keepers yielded 366 and 342g of premium quality smoke. Very uplifting and energizing high :) Love it!

17 weeks now and I'll give one more week for my Dwarf to see how the trichomes will being. About the Northern Lights, I don't know if I'll wait for her to get the point that I'd like. I'm having problems drying my two Jacks because I don't have a proper space to do it so I had to improve. So, maybe I'll cut both together using the Dwarf as reference...cuz she's going big, maybe the biggest yield among them. As a first attempt to growing, I'm quite excited.

As seeing some deficiency pop up after flush. Also some stress from light. Added dome Cal mag, Alaska fish fertilizer and it started cleaning up. Added another king Brite 240 raised the lights and set them at 45000 lux evenly accross the tent. Everything looks like it's doing better. Defoliated a massive amount on most of the plants which you'll see in week 9. After I did it the 2 smallest plants started taking off. Dropped off c02 till the recovered. Only getting co2 @1100 ppm for 6 hours, 2 hours after they wake up to start. Still around 600ppm when lights go out and then down to 380 during dark.

Got everything moved around & the new carbon filter, fans & lights so hopefully I got better coverage with less power👍🏼 Topped 1 of the Gelato OGs today was getting way taller than the rest we will see how she bounces back! Everything else seems to be going great! Day 22 topped & trimmed them up a bit Day 23 started LST on a few Day 24 started mainline on one of the GZ Day 25 trimmed them a little more today

Final week at week 11 of flower. I think I could have let her go a little Longer but she’s probably around 10-12% amber. Looking and smelling great!! Chopped, hung, dried, trimmed and cured. Bud tastes great and is potent. Not going to be a couchlock for the everyday stoner but definitely a great strong sativa type high. Packed on a lot of weight and was happy with the outcome.

Roots really took me by surprise, was not expecting that. Yet apparently are very healthy and rather have too much root than not enough. Giving the girls no more grow nutrients and still been having to add water daily. Due to the overgrown roots causing drain flow issues, I separated the girls into 2 systems. 2 buckets per reservoir and slowed the feed to accommodate the slower drainage flow. As far as I know they seem to be doing good...growing and flowering. 😀 Definitely need to look into larger buckets, 7 gallon buckets are expensive and not much more room, yet might be the way to go. 1" drains need to happen.
