Week 5 started off a bit rough. Continuing to over nute the plant babies, I realised I should flush and step back a little. The flush helped a lot. I keep the plants outside on days where the weather was good, and put them back inside to maintain 20/4 light schedule. I defoliated a large fan leaves at the bottom of the plants, as well as any of the yellowing leaves. This, coupled with the flushing, really seemed to perk them up. I trained some more of the branches and tucked away fan leaves blocking bud sites. All 5 plants are flowering, with B#2 (the untopped one), leading the charge with a solid main cola. I'm surprised by how little they stretched, but perhaps that has something to do with me nuking them with fertiliser at a critical point. Eh.

4/15/25 Things are progressing nicely. Some plants dont seem to be doing too much but 3 of them or so that are really standing out. Im curious if some of these are going to be longer flowering time than anticipated with the very obvious sativa dominant plants.

Well you can see this little girl is quickly starting to grow up now that I have given her the space and nutrients to do so. I FIMed at the 5th node and will LST in the coming days. Right now she is growing roots I will give them some rooting growth hormones to speed up the process. Aloe Vera Juice is packed with silica, micronutrients and improves overall cell strength and plant vigor plus root and growth hormones, lets see what this does to the little girl.

Plants in the main tent are coming along well since correcting the light intensity and run-off ppm, the one on the left is filling out now, so is the one in the middle just much slower. Not sure if I will let that one cook longer or just pull it with the rest... will see how she looks in a week. The plant on the right I spread out to take up almost half of the tent (I didn't want the spindler taking up unnecessary space) - her nugs are real nice - some foxtails and bleaching on the taller ones but for the most part looking good. Plant on the left has filled out a lot more despite its weirder more "wiry" bud structure - does't look as nice as the good plants but definitely better than the spindly plant in the middle. Big Mumma is still killing it - wondering if its getting close to flush time for her as it looks like some of her tricomes are starting to brown...

No big changes lately. 2 weeks after last post and seem getting thicker and I see few pistils got darker colour. Buds not very voluminous. Yet they still grow and need few further weeks.

Welcome back to growfessor theatre! Week 4F begins in the 4x4. Heavy defoliation performed on the Mandarin dreams and Do-si-dos, Green Crack and LSD got a light defoliation. LSD had the most yellowing, she seems to be the hungriest for nutrients. Not much else to report, the ladies are happy, healthy and bud is developing nicely! July 13: perfect cannabis weather after last week’s heat wave. Another heat wave next week, but for now it’s perfect. Added a third scrog layer and tied it off to some water bottles. This type of scrogging works, is easy, cheap, and it’s easy to still move the plant around the yard as needed. July 14: re-did the scrog net using a larger piece with more squares. Supercropped some ends to keep the growth tips at the same elevation. We’ll see how many colas I can make of this. July 16: looks happy enough but I need to up the water volume in this heat. July 18: really hot the last few days (33 C) so lots of watering and misting to keep them a bit cooler. Look really green and robust. 👍👍 Also wetting outside of grow bags to get some evaporative cooling for the soil. Added malted barley and Power Bloom to some soil and added it as a soil layer. Added plain soil on the top to deter birds from stealing the barley kernels. A bit less than 1 tbsp of Power Bloom per 1 gallon of soil with a bit more than 1 tbsp of malted barley per gallon of soil. #seedsman420growoff #seedsmanseeds
