This baby actually snuck up on me being the first of 4 plants on my patio to be ready for harvest using trichomes as my guide. It took me roughly 4 hours to take the entire plant down and wash it and get her ready for drying. A bit longer than I expected since there's a fair bit of space between the nodes and it was fairly easy to pluck fan leaves. Been very hot and dry lately... although we are expecting our first precipitation since spring on Monday so it's not a bad time to get some harvesting out of the way. It will be a few days before this stuff is dry enough to process further, but I plan to give the dry trimmer another go. After further processing we can add in some weights. September 19 > I'm surprised that it's taken this long for this baby to dry to this point - but it's been a weird week with two bouts of precipitation that we don't normally see. Slow is better - but I have a load of herb stacked up behind this. Fortunately... what we call indian summer conditions are about to prevail drying things out further. I'm surprised how tasty my initial tastes of this strain came in... normally I wouldn't even consider tasting something this young, but after initial tests I'm sure I'm a gonna like this stuff. I had to de-bud the C&C completely to make room for Northern Lights which needs to come down tomorrow... probably followed another half week by Amnesia #2, and then there is Purple Berry Kush bringing up the rear guard. Gonna be a busy next couple weeks. Started trimming on September 23 and finished the next day. Final bud weight comes in at 269 grams for one plant (9.5 ounces). The bud size is not tremendous but the yield was substantial and will keep me and my friends rolling in CBD until next summer. I would have to say this stuff did not dry as fast as I'm used to for herb that I've washed after harvest. Initial dry seems to be around 50%. Lower than I like but I was trying to dry the herb out for use with the Dry Trimmer... but I'd have to say the trimmer still isn't performing up to expectations. I used the maximum number of rotations/spins and really tried to beat the herb up but she won the fight. I still spent somewhere between 5-6 hours trimming by hand after that fight. I couldn't really wait any longer for the C&C to dry further because I have other trees coming in behind her and I need the space. The amount of shake/trim generated using the Trim Bag was about 65 grams - the amount from my hand trimming was 3x that easy. Off to wrestle with Northern Lights... Amnesia 7 comes down at dawn. Busy time of year... but what would you rather be doing...? ✊ 😬

Plant is recovering well from defoliation. It seems to be taking more water now so I'll up feedings to 2 litres twice a week to see if it responds well to that.

Hello Diary, The first week of vegetation on my little farm has ended. I'm a little late in updating the diary, but I'll try to change that. After the plant has received 4 leaves, the vegetation phase officially begins. In the case of Cherry Pie, it is 9 days since I planted the seed in the ground, or 5 days since the plant sprouted. Cherry Pie has been growing beautifully since the beginning, you can see a drastic difference every day. I have put photos on the 1st day of vegetation and the 7th day of vegetation and the difference is obvious in those seven days. Cherry Pie - Day 1. - 3.5 cm Cherry Pie - Day 7. - 7 cm Conditions on the farm are not ideal. I still suffer from the unbearable summer heat, which also affects the temperature in the apartment. When I add Migro Aray 4 to that, the temperature sometimes reaches 32 degrees. I don't see that it has a bad effect on the plants, but I would like it if the temperature were lower. The lights are now set at 35 cm from the plants and are dimmed at 40% of their power. Watering is every three to four days. I prepare about 4 liters of water, add 1 ml/L Calcium and Magnesium supplement and this week I started adding Bio Grow Fertilizer, a new product from RQS. After all, I lower the pH to 6.0. and with that amount I water all three plants on the farm. Here's a quick recap of the week. 25/07/2024 - Day 1. The official start of the vegetation. After photographing the plants, I watered them. I still put the seed booster in there, also a new product from the RQS organic fertilizer collection. 28/07/2024 - Day 4. Watering. I prepared 4 liters of water again, added Calcium and magnesium supplement, Bio Grow Fertilizer and finally lowered the pH. with Lemon Kick. 31/07/2024 - Day 7. End of the first week of vegetation. Taking photos and after that I watered all three plants on the farm. Cherry Pie - Day 7. - 7 cm. That's all from me for this week, see you soon.

'Only' 14cm/5.5" growth this week. She is now above my lights 😂 I deliberately did not FIM or train any of the plants in this grow, just to get back to basics and to make a final decision for future grows.

Fo' Twenny here with an update on our little Gorilla x Cookies cultivar from Expert Seeds! 9/16 - Day 12: She is a beautiful shade of green and looks happy. I was one square pots short and when I bought this one, I accidentally got the 7" x 7" instead of the 6" x 6". It will bug me, because I am weird, but I planted her in it anyway. I put 1 tbsp Mycos, .5 tsp Recharge, and .25 tsp of Azos in the whole at the root zone. Sprinkled some White Dutch Clover seed after transplanting. Watered with plain water. BAD NEWS: Half of the blue diodes have gone out in the TMLAPY light. This light was actually gifted to me shortly after a friend purchased it from Amazon and realized it was too small for their space. It seemed to be serving it's purpose well for vegging photos and running bumper crops of autoflowers but it failed only four months after the warranty period ended! Weak-Sauce! GOOD NEWS: So, I upgraded the 24"x48" tent to Samsung LM301H boards. I ordered a 320w straight single piece heatsink with 3 boards from Geeklight. Still on the hunt for those cosmic snacks, it'll be awhile until I see some fruits but here we are end of week 1.. There's only one but she's popping! Took a bit longer than the other strains to sprout from soil but as soon as she did you could see some nice strong dark green leaves. I placed the seeds in 500ml cups with BioBizz Light Mix soil, beforehand I mixed 1 gram of Synergy per 4 liters of soil. These are live microbes called Mycorrhiza which live in symbiotic association with the roots. My idea is to leave them in this container for about 14-21 days until the roots develop correctly then transplant them to their final pot which will be an 11L fabric pot. As the light mix soil comes blended for at least two week of life, no nutrients will be added until after the transplant. Happy Growing!😃 🌱 🌿 🌲

F50 Day 50 of flowering Humboldt Sour Diesel SD2 smells like vaseline/engine grease and tire burning with an oil/kerosine spill. The smell will get in your nose whether you like it or not and the smell has a thickness to it. SD3 smells like sweet oranges but mostly engine grease. A warm aroma,very pleasant. The buds are firm.
