Bud sites are producing black/purple spot in leaves. Bud growth is producing as the days go by. Really excited with this being my first grow Nitrogen boost really helped with the deficiencies. Plants are starting to look really heathy... Prunes lower colas that weren't stretching past the canopy and receiving energy so more energy can be used towards the top buds

She’s in pre flower stage at week 4- the cold, windy, hot, and everything in between has probably forced her a bit early- Raining the past few days and overcast. Looks nice though and she shot up in height!

So I had a few issue. I over watered early on, took them out the seed tray early, started feeding them a week or two late, no humidifier yet but they recovered well.

FBT 2308 is doing great so far. He roots have hit the solution. She is growing in Agrogardens nutrition under a Medic Grow mini sun 2. Everything is looking great at the moment. Algae is an asshole. Thought things were going really well... and then found a bit of algae in the rockwool.... No biggie I figure. Wrong. Left it one night, and today (Sunday) open the jar to find algae in all the roots. Not cool. Well, I needed to swap the nutrients anyway, and was going to do a major bonsai pruning... so why not also wash everything, plant included, in mild hydrogen peroxide solution? Sure, THAT's fun. Made the decision to swap Hydroguard for H2O2 as well, since the water is room temp (21-22 C) and the H2O2 supposedly helps prevent algae.... and keeps away root rot even in higher solution temperatures. Oh, and H2O2 is also seemingly a buffer... making getting the pH right in that small jar strange - needed WAY more pH down than without the hydrogen peroxide. Fingers crossed that the major life disturbances will help manage the algae and not just put the nails in the coffin.

Four of five plants will ba harvested right after taking those photos. Strawberry Cough will stay longer - as long as I can keep her alive - she already lost most of leaves but she is far from being ready. She now have whole tent for herself 😂 I need to give her another ScrOG net - she is starting to bulk and already colas are too big to stay vertical by themselves. More like HST instead of LST. This week was all about low stress training or lst. But as it was for the very first time I would say it was more of a high stress trainig (for me of course). First ties I started already the previous week but this week was hard tie downs on pretty much every branch. Since I messed up the first week and put my lights on almost max power the plants didnt strech out for light and are pretty low and bushy. Thats why the space is really tight and lst is just the thing to do. I used a metal string since I think its better because I can adjust it more and all tension is not on the string. For the past 2 weeks or so I noticed some weird spots on one leaf. This week it went on 3 more leafs and on one more plant. After some research I found out thats a serious Calcium defficiency. Since I’m not from US I didn’t have the same things as in videos I watched. So I didnt get the regular cal mag. But instead some from local store and I must say it was bad choice. Way too less calcium. Ordered a proper one and hopefully it will come in the next fee days. Another interesting thing happened. At the beginning I was cinsidering toping. But after researching more decided no to go with it on the first grow. As the lack of calcium appeared I went full blast with feeding. And it appears thats I was underfeeding, since I thought that my coco was too wet. Guess what happened when I went from once in 3days to twice per day. Thats right. The growth was massive ! One of the metal strings somehow got stuck in the plant and when this acceleration happened it simply snaped itself of 😳 I must say I was a bit sad at the moment, but then I figured it’s some form of self-toping. Not that I wanted it to happen on my strongest plant. But will see what will happen out of it. Alltogether this was a nice week full of wide strech and a lot of new knowledge!

Fun grow, treated each plant with a different growing techniques - Fim, Top, Lst, super-cropping, etc. Surprised on yield using basic $130.00 Bestva. Dry weight over 1/3 of a pound. They hung for 5 days. I put time into flushing and Trichome viewing, willing to sacrifice THC content for a more energetic medicine. I nailed the harvest based off of partly/mostly cloudy trichs(pic above). The weed is gas, top-shelve, better than the 21.5% thca GC I purchase through dispensary. Very, Very pleased with results. Biggest mistakes made on this grow: 1) 2 initial pots too small for 10 week veg requiring a tricky late veg transplant. 2) not using cal/mag in mid Veg. 3) allowing humidity to drop too low while drying buds in tent - final product is a little brittle.

Start of week 8 (day 50). Started the week off with a little recharge&water. I had to rig up some branch supports to compensate for compounding nugs. I'm pretty sure a pack of papers is a standard measurement? I've been struggling to get out of bed from knee pain (awaiting my 3rd surgery). And really not sleeping at all.
