Tag 102: Es scheint ein Kühler August zu werden, das ist ganz Wunderbar für meine Pflanzen 😍 jetzt in der Endphase.

J'ai continué mon LST et la défoliation au cours de la semaine passée. J'ai ensuite continué l'arrosage, mais un petit surrengraissage d'azote pointe le bout de son nez alors qu'elle demande toujours du phosphore et du potasium (leger), je vais lui faire un arrosage à l'eau claire, seulement additionné de PK 50/33 pour faire tampon jusqu'à rétablissement de la belle.

Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I did some HST bending on my photos and cut down 2 of the 3 Blackberry’s. The branches are starting to recover and straighten out after the HST now. I still have some issues with pale leaves and a few spots here and there. I’m going to try adding some Dolomite Lime with the next watering and think that should help with the paleness. I’m also going to up the amount of CalMag and Mammoth P to see if that helps with the spotting. I’m not sure if I should see the spotted leaves recover or if the spots will remain. I suspect the spots will remain on the existing leaves regardless of what I do at this point, but hopefully no new spotting will develop. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. Also all close up pics of the Critical+ are with the lights off and flash on. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible. This was an easy grow, and had some amazing results. This is some of my best homegrown to date ❤️ the ladies were easy to manage, no PM, pests or disease. The root balls were enormous, wasn’t much soil to recover. They got heavy in the end from the weight but managed to stay upright for the most part. They were big stretchers , prepare for that, scrog was a good way to go but some of the eager beavers got away from me, which ended in some massive colas. Overall easy to grow, no surprises and you won’t regret the results! 10/10 ❤️👊🤤

Somit beginnt Woche 5. Woche 4 war entspannt. Abermals legt Painkiller XL ein gutes Wachstum hin. Ich schätze, dass der Stretch nun vorbei ist und alles in die Blüten geht. Schaut euch dieses Blüten bitte an. Wunderschön und harzig.

Hi all Another week in the heat and all are still alive and well. FFT#8 Is now at the bare maximum , showing some green. !! She took such a terrible hit in the NFT tank due to high temps here in the UK. The cube it was in has been crumbling and rotting but has now been treated so she is in a new space in the other tank. Her size is tiny a d inthinknit will be a miracle if she makes a good harvest. She did well to survive the root rot though son there is hope. FFT#9 Has has a brilliant week catching up with the other ladies in soil pots. I began training her out a couple of weeks ago and have now re bent her knuckles to pump them up again. I took a lot of lower growth out to get some airflow around her now and she is taking on a planned ball shape nicely. She is a nice syrain to grow sonfar and is starting to have a tacky feel to her when handled. She is also taking on a little fruit smell too. FFT#10 Is a monster in the making. Her stems are nice and thick and have tooknreally well to the training sessions. Like her counterpart , she is tacky to touch now and a hint of a smell is starting. Her overall size in the huge pot is at least 3ft across already. Having to wait for the FFT#8 to catch up is going to be a task. The soil pots are taking a good 8L every 2 days and not looking overrated at all. They are so healthy and vigerous. Be safe Growmies

Another crazy week, hot days, cold nights, always windy. These are the conditions in which weed grows in nature and my girls seem to love. PK is confirmed as a beast. Perfectly healthy only a few scratches caused by the wind. No parasites. Very rapid response to bending with excellent branching. What a smell !!

The Ogs still looking good, the blue widows looking a bit better now, but im not happy with them. Lets look what the next week will bring to them.

I have been vegging these plants for the last 1.5months.they will be getting flipped to flower immediately. They sit at 19" and had a slight issue while vegging. I believe I missed watering with Epsom salt and they developed some leaf spotting. They were approx 25" tall and were pruned back about a week earlier and allowed to recover. Removed most older leaf growth with the spotting. I will be running veg nutes for the first week or 2.then switching to flower nutes.

Everything fine! She’s getting bigger, and her roots too, because when I give her water, she doesn’t bend around anymore. Day 15 (April 26, 2019): she was hungry, she got food! Exactly like a Queen. 👱‍♀️🏻👗👑 Day 19 (April 30, 2019): topped over the 3rd node. Day 21 (May 2, 2019): removed the 1st node and started a 4-way LST.

Week 7 – Day 51 (BT27) A quiet week for RedPure#4 – mostly just watering, observing, and removing an occasional leaf 🍃 The stretch seems to be coming to an end. Height is stable at 40 cm, and space is still manageable 😅 Her buds continue to swell and look very promising 🍇 However, the drain pH remains low at 5.7, which might explain some of the issues she’s showing. After some digging, I suspect the combination of BioBizz soil and Advanced Nutrients is the cause. BioBizz relies on microbes for pH buffering, unlike Plagron or Canna, which use dolomite lime. On top of that, I’m feeding the microbes with Bud Candy – which likely lowers the pH even further 🔬 📌 Takeaway: If you're using Advanced Nutrients, a substrate like Plagron Growmix or Canna Terra might be more compatible. With BioBizz, the pH in runoff stays constantly low despite using water with pH 6.6. RedPure remains the most sensitive strain in the tent – but also one of the most aromatic 🌸💜

Day 83 - end of week 4 flowering and everything thing going good , super easy to grow so far with no problems. They have started giving of a really sweet smell can’t wait to taste 👅

Hello,,, semaine 1 de floraison. Les plantes se portent plutôt bien. Elles semblent vigoureuses. Le stretch a bien commencé, elles ont poussées de plus de 10cm cette semaine. Le remplissage du scrog est bien répartie même si il reste quelques imperfections😅. J’ai aussi augmenté un peu l’ex, je suis à 1.6/1.7 maintenant,, J’interviendrais probablement sur les plantes une dernière fois après le stretch fini, pour enlever ce qui ne donnera pas de belles buds. Voilà pour cette semaine... Happy grow...😎

It was probably the hottest week of the year with a maximum of 34° C, a lot of water had to be administered, especially the Frisian Dew in the pot. On the other hand, I continue to enjoy the good appearance of the plants, with no pests, caterpillars, aphids or similar to be found so far. Even the slugs are no longer interested in the leaves, there are now so many flowers in the garden that simply taste better. As the flowering that I have read about already begins with the pre-flowering, I can say that all the plants in this report are flowering. Only the Durban Poison is by far the fastest and is already producing buds and seeds. As I had used regular seed for the Durban Poison, I fertilised it with pollen from a remaining male Durban Poison. The seed pods are already visible and look promising. The Durban Poison flowers are purple in depth, at least in my phenotype, and it doesn't need as much water as Frisian Dew and Shaman. The Shaman and Frisian Dew in the garden are showing their best side and continue to grow diligently, they need much less water than the others, probably due to roots that reach deep down. Do Durban Poison, Frisian Dew and Shaman actually have tap roots? However, I would really like all the plants to start producing flower buds now, as it is already mid-August. This is my first project. I hope to learn a lot from this new experience and get the best feedback from it. Its good to say that i have been applying some work experience in project design and management in this new hobbie.
