Tag 105: Die letzten 2 Wochen beginnen. Ich gieße nur noch Wasser ohne Dünger. Eigentlich würde ich Temperatur und Luftfeuchtigkeit gerne weiter senken, doch da macht mir gerade ein warmer feuchter Herbst ein Strich durch die Rechnung 😤 Die Pflanze hat schon recht helle gelbliche Blätter, was ich schon früh befürchtet hatte. Das Wetter war leider oft einfach zu warm für die Pflanze.

looking really good now. i removed some of the larger fan leaves at the top and trimmed the bottom to tidy up :) still loads of white hairs, a few have turned brown but not too many.

9/4/24 she's starting to perk up and look happier than she was. hopefully will revert back to vegetative fully soon. 9/7 shes one bushy fn plant 9/8 i topped the taller main in an attempt to keep her canopy more even leveled. Shes so bushy its like ivy wrapping around the trunk of the tree but the ivy is just the leaves and nodes exploding

I came back to the fridge after 6 days and stretch was running massively. They grew like 20cm in 6 days I changed my climate to: 27° C 60% rlf in order to adapt to early flower Day and Night same 45% light about 580ppfd Still running the water in a circle. Adjusted the scrog a bit in order to fill the space more They eat like 1100ppm CO2 an hour 😎 __________________ Update: last 2 videos show day 8 of flower ,🤙🏼 Decided to give them a heavy defoliation due to it being a closed loop system and them emitting tons of humidity. So far so nice 🏼

Plants with more direct UV showed much more purple across all 3 plants. The data shows that the number of terpenes in dried Cannabis flowers increases with a “No Red” light treatment for the final three days of production. Based upon these findings, we feel confident in recommending a spectrum control program that eliminates red light output from fixtures for the final 72 hours of the Cannabis flowering cycle. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. It has been found that sound waves were at different frequencies, sound pressure levels (SPLs), exposure periods, and distances from the source of sound influence plant growth. Experiments have been conducted in the open field and under greenhouse growing conditions with different levels of audible sound frequencies and sound pressure levels. Sound waves at 1 kHz and 100 dB for 1 h within a distance of 0.20 m could significantly promote the division and cell wall fluidity of callus cells and also significantly enhance the activity of protective enzymes and endogenous hormones. Sound waves stimulation could increase the plant plasma-membrane H+-ATPase activity, the contents of soluble sugar, soluble protein, and amylase activity of callus. Moreover, sound waves could increase the content of RNA and the level of transcription. Stress-induced genes could switch on under sound stimulation. Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%. I cut feeding towards the end of week 8 , the plants could have easily gone for another week but at this point the tops were loosing all colour so I decided to harvest at the end of week 8. The trichomes were cloudy and clear with a few Amber.

Slowly going into flower. I mean real slow lol. It's showed some pistills about a week ago and still you really have to look for them a week later. My veg lights are 5700k and are on 24/7. Guna let them stretch a bit more and flip to my flower light's 3500k and change time to 20/4 sometime this week

Tasty bud, and tough plants, when the Gelato's were struggling with mildew and budrot, the mimosa's didn't have any problems, even when they stood in the rain. Had a few nanners because of light leaks, but no seeds. Too green at harvest I know, even after two weeks of flushing. Guess there was still too much left in soil. Still, this is some outdoor that looks and tastes like indoor.

3 weeks from germination, they look green and strong full of vitality, even with the heat it is doing ... I just started with Biovega at 1ml per liter (half dose), I have chosen the largest specimens, you can see the difference between varieties, with respect to size. The most branched is already seen to be the Sugar Candy and the Sugar Black rose, the distance between branches is incredible. Like all in their own way.😉

The screen is slowly filling up! I will admit the ScrOG method is a little more work than other LST/HST, but I love messing with my plants anyway. Its like solving a puzzle trying to find the next spot to pop up a cola. The Lucas method is going great. Still no water changes, and I haven't had issues with algae or root rot. Some people report their reservoir smelling bad without water changes, but all I smell is ganja 😀

05/18/22 changed nutrient water PH 6.20 TDS 870 now on bloom nutrients. Done. Harvested ALL on Day 72 - one LCC was very heavy on amber trichomes, one BPP and one LCC were what i consider optimum, and one BPP was VERY milky, like peak potency. very few amber. Interested to try them all! Total Drying time was 7 Days for both LCCs and 8 Days for both BPPs. I decided to do my first proper dry trim. For two plants i hit the spot and could just shave off the remaining leaves. For the other two it was much more of a hassle. They already smell way better than my previous runs where i dry trimmed. Also the colors are awesome for both plants that purpled. Smoke review will have to wait some time. Right now, all of them are curing.
