Let’s talk about the unexpected guests making an appearance in the grow room—gnats! These tiny critters can be a common nuisance for growers, especially in environments with moist soil. While they’re not devastating, they can be a sign that things need a bit of tweaking. Why the Yellow Stickers? Yellow sticky traps are like candy for gnats—they’re irresistibly attracted to the bright color, which mimics flowers. These traps are a simple, non-toxic way to monitor and control the population. It’s not just satisfying to see them stuck (though, let’s admit it, it kind of is)—it’s also a great way to keep tabs on how many are lurking around and take action if necessary. What Causes Gnats? Gnats love moist environments, and overwatering or humidity that’s a bit too high can create their perfect breeding ground. Day 24 Second topping 🤒🤕

Hello everyone week 5 of flower has passed for this LSD-25 auto 🎢 For the feeding schedule i stopped feeding Power Roots and Pure Zym and started feeding Green Sensation 0,5/l Mars hydro FC-E6500 75% have a great day and wish you all happy growing 😎👨‍🌾🏻

With another good week under the belt, the tent has been flipped to flower. A pre-flower strip will be performed sometime in the first week here, and then it's off to the races. I'm hoping to see around 150g without trim from this go, let's see how we do. -9/24- Performed a first week strip to let the ladies breathe a little better, looking good. Still a lot of leaf mass to go about photosynthesis, just removed the less useful leaves and a handful of sucker nodes that had little or no light exposure. -9/25- Noticing the stretch bit time. They gained about 1/3 their total height in the past couple days.

(Only Calcium) EC: 0.4 PH: 5.6 Dry Weight: Both 2.7 kg. 28-8 Temps: 21.5 to 28 degrees Humidity: 51% to 56% 29-8 Temps: 23.3 to 27.4 degrees Humidity: 55% to 62% 30-8 Temps: 19.9 to 27.7 degrees Humidity: 50% to 60% 31-8 Temps: 20.2 to 26.6 degrees Humidity: 50% to 55% 1-9 Temps: 21.1 to 29.1 degrees Humidity: 49% to 55% Watering: Both 1000 ml. EC: 1.4 PH: 5.6 Dry Weight: Both 2.4 kg. Recalibrated my PH pen and it was only 0.1 off, so i dont think the leaf problems are PH related.

The white coverage is diatomaceous earth against gnats. Flipped them couple days ago , still nothing ,waiting

Coming close to the end now folks they were checked on 62 days old with microscope and a good few trichomes still looking very clear so will give them a few more days and check again and most importantly I will keep yea's all updated happy growing folks 😁

The grow was fairly straightforward and no complications. Veg was fast amd stalks were the thickest to date, I was impressed. Flower was a beautiful show, colors were dark and pretty, got to love that. Buds frosted up immensely amd after the trim still looked frosty. Smell was also a beautiful fragrance, the nose does not work so good amd to be honest mybe its me too. Cant really say amd don't want to make shit up. I will leave this up to a friend and will update later with the smoke report. I have to say this was a great and very satisfying grow. I'm not really sure if I am getting better or ot is the strain. I did change a bunch of things up. I topped at the fourth node this time, probably should have did some more topping too. Will work on that on later grows. During flower I did not let the pots get too dry, maybe 40 or 50%. I also started using a smaller area and now in a tent. Temperatures were also a bit higher, I think the Silicate helped the plan throught this. Flower I had low humidity, consistantly around 38%. Started using a PH pen part way through, just after flower started. This also seemed to help and being it was accurate. I PH'd runoff, never had to make much adjustments thought. Week 7 Coming Down to the home streak

Adding the photos I took for that week, sorry it’s been hectic.

Day 2 in the pots they came out beautifully with their seed as a hat! Day 4 they were all 3 1cm out of the ground, they were born! Day 6 is almost over today and 2/3 seeds go delicious. Both of them already have their first set of real leaves and you can see the next set coming, oewhhh. Unfortunately there is one that I think is less gene/old seed. It sits around half the height and the lobs are almost closed, but hopefully it is still hard 💪 🏼

Ginger Nut Cookies and Aussie music videos week six Thursday 6th feb 2020 Hi Growers well I decided to bite the bullet and attempt some LST and topping , I gently bent it over and tied each branch down to a predrilled hole in the pot with some soft wire. I then topped each node that was showing. If any one has any extra tips or advice on how I should go about my training I would welcome it as I am still learning . This girl is definately showing some Indica dominant characteristics about her and looks nice and healthy. I will continue to train the branches as they grow and tuck fan leaves that block light . Now for the Music Videos ###### This Week I chose two songs from two different Music Videos and two different artists both spreading the message about Reconciliation and land rights for our Indigenous Brothers and sisters here in Australia . This is something I feel is very important and is still a major issue over 200 years later. Song and video number two is from a Group called Midnight Oil and this one is also all about giving back to the Indigenous. Flower day 17 - All the ladies are looking great, starting to see a lot of bud sights & the smell is definitely getting stronger everyday I open the tent! Thanks for following & happy growing friends!🌱✌️🏼 Flower day 19- Got a bigger dehumidifier because I was having problems on days I would water the humidity would go through the roof at night so to prevent mold I bought a bigger dehumidifier but now it is throwing off so much heat the tent is pushing 90 degrees F at some points throughout the day so I’m not exactly sure how to fix the issue! Will definitely not be running so many plants in the next run for the 5x5! Hopefully things get better!😅😅

Growing nicely. Clipped it down and used the FF feeding schedule.

May 31st Everything is looking good after the LST from last week, I said I was going to swap them into flower and I realized that I should wait another week or so as they will be going into a new home so to speak. Updates coming next week for that. Doesn't look like to many PH issues anymore or whatever was happening but the plants seem a bit happier now June 1st I Figured today would be a good day to do a bit of defoliation on these girls in order to get some more light down to the newer growth. I didn't take a ton off as you can see, but for the size of the plant I suppose it was a decent amount. I read somewhere that a general rule of thumb is only defoliate roughly 30% of the plant at most. I'm not to sure if it is true but I tried to stay within that general rule. June 2nd, I decided since I would have them in veg for at least a little while long I would top them again. After topping I gave them some water and nutrients. I know I said I would do straight water for the next one but I went for it anyways as it seems the flowering mixture may be giving it some deficiency's. So I gave them the recommended feeding for heavy veg growth. I gave about 3L to the bigger plant and around 2L to the smaller plant (as it was still a bit moist but it wasn't damp). My crappy soil tester was saying my soil was at around 8PH so I figured I would aim to feed around 6ph. With the small amount of runoff from the smaller plant I did A PH test and the PH seemed to be around the 4.5-5ph area. My liquid ph meter arrived broken so I am waiting for the new one, therefore I am using the general hydroponics liquid test kit. I presume my soil ph is lower then the water I have given seeing as it went from 6ph water to around 4.5. Next feeding I will aim to feed at 7PH. With the defoliation I just made sure that the tie downs were decently tight still and moved what I thought needed to be moved. June 3rd,4th Not a ton to update on. I didn't get any pictures for these 2 days. June 5th Some obvious problems going on with the bigger plant. I am guessing it is the PH issue but I am still unsure. The one browned leaf I accidentally squished in the tie down while I was low stress training it so it got a bit damaged. Other then that the plants are growing decent. Im not sure why I didn't have more pictures for today but I mainly took problems of the problem areas. June 6th Not much going on still. They are still just hanging out not doing to much. It was a busy work week so pictures in general were a bit lazy. I will try to get more for the upcoming weeks. Big news for next week!
