So another week and some more thickening and ripening. The smell is like blueberry on one and the others are sweet as well. Slightly different smell to each. Watering when dry still at pH 6-6.6 and monitoring overall plant trichomes. At this point it's autopilot to the end. No more feeding with slow release and will slowly flush the remaining food out next few weeks. I like my trichomes to have some amber, not too much but mostly cloudy with some amber. Seems like most will be dense, except one plant I've called corona virus. It has smaller buds but are really resinous and smelly. Cheers and happy growing!

Day 121 (Day 1st Week 19) and the lady's buds are very clearly packing on weight. She is ready ready for a PK boost again! But if I really have to tell my opinion, I think she doesn't need more P, she's growing very well. On the other hand, a boost won't hurt. It's a pity the high temperatures of summer, she may be really suffering the heat inside the grow room. Luckily prosilicate may help her (as it seems to be) helping on this heat issue. Of course everyday I inspect buds to put those approaching the lights farther. Led lights are too bright and may bleach the precious buds so proximity to lights is the real problem of this current grow. Day 124 (24/01/2020) Helaas i found an incipient spider mites infestation, this f*cking plague always makes its way into my grow. Because of spider mites I sotpped growing outside. Really, I do hat these nasty animals and I would eradicate forever if it was in my power. I found a few leaves with inequivocal symptoms of spider mite bites, and in the back of the leaves I saw eggs, nymphs and adult forms. I started treatment with neem oil 5 mL/L applied as soil drench. I'll repeat in 5 days. on the other hand it's fortunate that I have seen them and so I can start treatment soon before they take over the entire plant. 1/5 day for PK boost: 0.5 mL/L Prosilicate + 1mL/L CalMax + 0.6 g/L Bloom fertilizer + 0.2g/L Boost (inflow 530 ppm) pH 5.85 (run off 450 ppm) Day 125 High temperatures again, with the open tent temp is 29.4 ºC inside... Getting close for the chop after checking the trichs, I'm starting to see amber so will keep a close eye until we get to about 10%. I did to a major defoliation this week taking off most of the fan leafs to allow some of the lower buds to mature before getting chopped. With the new netting up, I switched on the red lights along with the blues to help the plants stretch a bit to reach through the screen. It looks like it is taking effect, so late in the week (Friday) I trimmed some of the lower branches. Last week I FIMmed Zoe and Grace to give River a chance to catch up, and I expected 1 of 2 results: 1) FiMming will encourage growth in the cut plants causing them to grow taler than River, or 2) Things will stabilize and River will be on par with her siblings. But instead, I discovered a 3rd result: River is continuing to grow bigger and thicker each day and is even taller and fuller than her sisters. In addition though, the trimmed plants are developing nice, strong, sizable leaves, and most of the new growth is coming from down below, rather than near the top. Oh, and this week I added a new camera (Wyze) to the time lapses so I can take my pro camera out.

WEEK 1 Flowering😀. Oh boy!! This plant is going to outgrow this tents height in no time. The trellis Height is 20 inches from the floor, and the plant is currently 10 inches through the trellis. This leaves only 8 inches of growth, to reach 18 inches from the light. Good thing She's still mobile. I foresee a move next week. Tidied up her undercarriage with some defoliation on Day 6 of flower and applied some diatomaceous earth to fight fungus gnats. I'm happy with the bud formation this early into flowering. The inter-nodal spacing looks good, and the buds should stack nicely. My apologies for the shaky camera work and the changes in white balance levels. This week the new growth of the plants transitioned from looking relatively healthy to droopy and yellowed. I wasn't sure what the issue was at first and thought it might be light stress. After more research, I determined that I had what looked very much like a zinc deficiency, which is almost always a symptom of over-watering, which is the most common mistake for new growers, i.e. "Me". I had assumed that adding a good amount of perlite to my soil and using smart pots would prevent me from running in to any drainage issues but I guess not. I was up to 1.5 liters per plant when I realized that it was too much. I also realized I was misreading my syringe which I use to mix nutrients, and that i had been giving only 1/10 of the liquid nutrients that I thought. I'm super embarrassed about the mistake but I'm going for full transparency here, so there it is. Course correction takes places after day 31.

Days of flowering 42 Since the water was only poured on day 41, both were only checked for their health today. Flowering day 43 Today both were poured with 1 l each, completely without additives as they should use up their remaining nutrients :-). Flowering day 44 The tent was cleaned and the humidifier refilled. Flowering day 45 Today both were checked for health and sprayed. Flowering day 46 Today everything in the tent was tested for functionality (fans, etc.). The humidifier has been refilled. Flowering day 47 Again today it was poured with 1.2 l each time, and the tent was cleaned. Flowering day 48 Both plants were checked to see how wide their trichomes were (70% milky, 20% clear and 10% amber). The plants are really extremely fast 👍. Everything was cleaned again and the humidifier was filled. That was it pushed with this week, and I have to say the Fast Version lives up to its name 😳😃. The plants are really beautiful with this huge top, the flowers underneath are large and very fragrant. They are dark green and white really nice. The resin is really sticky and fragrant, I can't wait to harvest

day 55: 2 of the plants are finally turning purple! I always have to remove some leaves for the lights to reach the lower buds, other than that I just feed and love them. :-) day 57: those 2 plants are getting more purple every day now! Unfortunately the camera cannot let u see what I see, but the colors are bright pink and almost pearlescent like. I will try and make more pics in natural light, but it's really tricky to get them out of the tent as they're pretty big now ..:P
