The beginning of week 5! I think we are going into flower this week, signs are there. 7/22 (Day 35) - Started off week 5 with the most LST and Defoliation I have done and I was nervous. They needed it though, I was getting worried about mold and airflow through these bushy ladies, so I did my best and kinda followed my instinct. I did watch and read a ton of videos and articles and tried to put what I learned to use. I think these ladies are about to go into flower as well, started noticing the white pistols and where potential bud sites are going to be so I did my best to make those available to light and as even as possible. Will be letting them rest for a few days and reassess then. Everything continues to stay in check and the new dehumidifier worked awesome last night keeping the humidity in check. 7/23 (Day 36)- Didnt get any pictures this day. Pretty normal day, they drank 2 gallons and just continue to grow. I feel like they are just growing like crazy still and I think im starting to see them start stretching a bit more. 7/24 (Day 37)- Did the res change this morning, they are definitely starting to stretch and the bud sites seem to becoming more obvious. I went with more Veg neats after doing some reading, I may switch to bloom next week depending on how they are stretching. They fully recovered from the LST and defoliation two days ago. I decided to do a bit more today and focus on opening up light to sites that need them. Everything gets covered up so fast and I am having to defoliate a bit almost every other day it seems. 7/25 (Day 38)- Everytime I defoliate and do some LST they seem to bounce back so fast like next day. I did a bit more with the front left plant, she is lagging behind the others a bit, but that one has always seemed to be the runt. They are starting to form buds, especially back left plant which seems to have taken off a bit faster than the others. They are drinking almost 3 gallons a day! Everything continues to stay in check. I am debating if I should try scrogging or not, or just continue to LST and defoliate. Any input is welcome! 7/26 (Day 39) - Just kind of checked in on them and topped up the res today, Everything looks nice and healthy, all conditions are staying consistent and everyone is looking healthy. 7/27 (Day 40)- Did quite a bit of defoliation this morning. They needed it badly, a lot of the light was not getting through to under the canopy. Going to just keep an eye on them and see how they recover the next few days. week intel: its time to harvest top buds! because my base nutrients and one of boosters was salt based, i'll do flushing this week to get some relieve to plants in the last days stresses : flushing Drought stress via watering only one time with flushing this week feeding: day 1 : i flushed them with Advanced Nutrients Flawless finish and adjusted ph day 3 : no more feeding from now on day 5 : no more feeding from now on guide of the week : i harvest in 2 parts : first i harvest top of the branches and will let the lower buds to ripe another week then ill harvest the second wave. its crucial to get uniformed buds in terms of quality that you let the lower buds to get some extra air and especially light! then the pop corn buds quality will reach the top buds. my dry and cure style is this: 3 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 3 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. im happy as hell with this harvest :D.

This is a beautiful big bush of a plant, she's absolutely awesome,I had to Supercrop her to avoid too much height on the balcony, her smell it's exactly the same as her sisters, super sweet and floral,very stable genetic, I love this black cherry punch, I would love to keep on growing this strain and take some clones, what a beautiful strain to grow. She's being fed organically and naturally 100%. 💚🤞🌱❤️ Let's see how this lady performs at the end! 💚🌱🤤

The lady has developed wonderfully 😊. The buds keep getting thicker and smell better :-). This week I added 1 g GHSC enhancer per l Coco. in total it was poured twice with 1.2 l each time. Fresh osmosis water was prepared and filled into canisters. The tent was completely cleaned and each plant was checked individually under the magnifying glass. Otherwise a few little things were done like yellow boards against sciarid mosquitoes and blue boards to prevent tripods. have fun with the update. Swapped out a light that’s slightly too big for my tent but squeezed it in with minor cuts to the tent. Probably should’ve done it sooner. Can only run the light at 50% or below.

Last week of smart proteins she got it once maybe twice by now, had a tough week not gonna lie the travails of the grower what are you gonna do 😅 drinking a bit, no nutrients yet, she might get a pk boost who the tf knows 😎 dropped her lights to 10/14 to induce resin production now these absolutely reak lol can't quite put my finger on it , sometimes it's really sweet citrus sometimes it's dankier 🚀

This week I added a new controller to handle up to 8 functions. I installed a new heater, my old humidifier and some LED strips to the controller. Targeting a VPD at 1.0 day and night. Trying to keep the nutrient ppm under 900 and ph at 6.0 in the reservoirs. Ordered a second ph pen because I don’t trust my readings. Will be here by Thursday. Friday: Checked the ppm in the reservoirs and it’s at 1,000. Added more RO water with extra nitrogen to bring the ppm level down to 925. Saturday: I installed an updated AC Infinity controller 69 Pro Plus (controls 8 pieces of equipment) which allowed me to add a humidifier, corner LEDs and a heater to the controller. Overall I’m extremely impressed with this AC Infinity equipment. My VPD is within the range I want to achieve (.8-1.1). I programmed it to maintain 78 degrees and 67% humidity during the day, 73 degrees and 63% humidity at night. Charts posted also show the impact of an open tent compared to the closed environment. The heater is constantly pushing fresh air into the tent, so I don’t need to cycle the exhaust fan often. Rewired the tent again and moved the controller later that night. I mounted the controller on the wall. Added Mars Hydro UV/IR lighting to fill out all 8 slots on the controller. Sunday: I checked the ph in the reservoirs (6.8….i had filled it with 6.0 ph) and the ppm (1200 ppm…I had filled it with 900). So evaporation and possibly a mismeasurement of ph. I topped ff reservoirs with slightly stronger nutes and adjusted ph to 5.8 in the reservoirs. Poor magnesium absorption could be driving some leaf yellowing. Effective tomorrow, I’m switching over to Heads Formula which consistently feeds GH Flora series nutes at Micro (6ml/g), Bloom (9ml/g) and cal mag (3ml/g). Turned on the UV/IR lights for 3 minutes every 8 hours. I’m easing the plants up to 5 minutes every 6 hours which will provide the recommended 20 minutes of IR per day. This will help the plants stretch a little more. Monday: checked ph and ppm in reservoirs. 6.1ph and 880ppm. VPD remains stable except when I open the tent. Tuesday: checked ph (6.4) and ppm (880) in reservoirs. Added .5ml of ph down to two reservoirs. Still see slight yellowing between the veins but it’s not getting worse (might be improving). Adjusting ph down to 6.0 target might have solved this. The plants grew by 1-2” last night…..is the infrared light working already? Decided to mix up fresh nutes for the reservoirs following Heads formula. 6ml Micro and 9ml Bloom per gallon of RO water. Added 5 ml of CalMag too. Ending ppm was 1080 which is too high, so I diluted down to 880 with RO water. 6.0 ph. Wednesday: plants grew another .75 inches last night. I topped above the 5th node. Thursday: added RO water with heavy cal mag to reservoirs to increase amount of CalMag available.

Disconnected from autopots due to overwatering symptoms. Some leaf edges curling up so I am also suspecting on heat/light stress. Went forward with LST on both plants.

Day 30 of flower and so far things remain smooth sailing. Stretch ended day 26 or even day 27 I think. The smell is absolutely wonderful. It seems like in the past couple days the syrup smell has intensified a lot but now the butter element of the syrup is a lot more pronounced and recognizable/distinct. I’m so excited for the next month if the smells are already this powerful!
