For my second grow, I am OVER THE MOON!! I just yielded 16.1 ounces (wet trimmed) from a single lady in a small 23"x19" x 48" DIY tent. The strain; Mandarin Cookies v2 from Ethos Genetics, was very easy to manage and did not have any issues even in my small space. It was really difficult to determine the run time, it suggested 9 weeks from the breeder, I ended up going almost 13 weeks!! the trichomes stayed white

Starting week 2 of flower and these girls are Still stretching for a couple more days probably. I will definitely be adding a second layer of trellis this week. Also starting feeding big bud this week. Everything is looking happy and moving along nicely.

Just checking the trichome heads daily to harvest them at the for me perfect moment.

DAY 29: Wooohoo, it is that exciting time when we notice more of the little white hairs poking up around the bracts and the tips take on a bursting opening of growth appearance. The main 2 in flower are the Northern lights #1 and Grandaddys mimosa. Both have started to stretch and will benefit from the planned l.s.t to keep them in their best light . Northern lights has taken a very healthy S-bend in her stem as she wanted to go tall from the beginning. Her growth rate has been excellent under the light and I can see her stretching will certainly have me pushing the lights footprint limits. Grandaddys mimosa has also added a nice bit of height at around 12 inches now. A good start for stretching too. She has space and I have been removing the larfy lower growth from rhem all to not waste energy. She is a little more advanced in flower then the northern light but very close. Both of the Gorilla cookies are starting to join the party now and look like they are still in veg and pushing tips up for flowering but no signs of bract hairs yet so they will hopefully match the size of the other 2 soon enough. They are a bushier appearance than the other 2 strains so I will have to make sure they dont get overgrown by their canopies after the stretch periods. The mutant Northern lights has still remained small and hopeful but I wont be holding out too.much hope on her. I contacted Fast buds and used their after sales service to discuss the failed seeds. They were excellent and only needed a few details of purchase and a couple of pics with some info on what happened and they have now replaced the 3 that I lost. Well done for keeping true to your word @fastbuds . THE LIGHT What can I say about this amazing piece of tech. A small unit, solidly made and delivering a punch way better than I honestly expected. I thought it was going to be ok to sprout them and bring them up together then remove most of them to grow with my other lights while I flowered a single plant under it. Seeing how bloody capable it is , has thrown that plan out of the window altogether...... I plan now to grow all 4 main plants to harvest and really push the limits of this sunshine in a shade. For 150w of power , it is having no problems providing plenty of par for all of the girls to max their photosynthesis needs. All of them are in homemade super soil and the lights are their main input from my end so something is keeping them very happy indeed. In a box or cupboard , this light could work wonders on a single plant or couple of trained but I feel this would be hiding a lot of potential and underestimating its abilities. The grow was good, we messed up a few times such as cutting one of the bud sites of Plant A when training but it ended up healing, and cutting off completely the main bud of Plant R which made it produce a lot of trichomes probably to try to survive. We struggled in the beginning with humidity because we did not have a humidifier but the girls were very resistant to the heat and low humidity and their growth was not stunted. I was surprised by how small their roots were in the end which is maybe why they were both quite small. Other than that it was quite easy to grow them and the end result was good so very happy with the grow!

So flower has seemed very slow. We are on day 60 of flower, and they are NOT ready. The past two weeks the pH has been dropping tremendously every day. I couldn’t imagine it would be a root issue since I use hydroguard and we have a chiller set at 67 degrees, plus the plants look healthy! So I did my research and tried everything. Finally I decided to go ahead and treat with hydrogen peroxide because nothing else was helping, and Bam! Stable pH! Lesson learned. I hope the plants now start putting on weight over the next week and maturing. I was hoping to flush in a week, but I will just base it off what they are telling me.

Dark green color trichomes are starting to form on her buds and leaves and she's starting to fill in you can see the white hairs and start off little buds on her. She is doing great outside!! All appeared well with this Lady until yesterday 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️ I noticed a small discoloured patch on one of the top buds, it had the start of what appeared to be bud rot 😿 Asked a couple of mates their opinion and we’ve all come to the same conclusion. I’ve checked the rest of the plant and can’t see any signs of any more. She’s meant to be coming down in 7 days, but that may have to be pushed forward. I’ve bought some more fans (5 to be precise) they should arrive today, so hopefully that should help. I’ve needed to upgrade my fans for a while, wish I’d sorted it out sooner. I’ve added a video at the end showing the bud in question. Don’t be surprised if this diary updates as finished in the next few days, until next time 🌱💚

This week was great this is supposed to be an autoflower but here we are at 8 weeks and I've seen one pistol per bud site I'm wondering if I was accidently sent photoperiods? I'm not sure if anyone has ideas is this normal for this auto or is it a photo

Unfortunately, I don't have pictures of the buds when they were dried and cut. But I can tell you they looked very nice The taste and high were very good. Verry potent ! Really liked this strain. Unfortunately, 1 of the 2 blue zushi had become a mutant. I made some very nice fresh frozen bubble hash out of it. The dry weight was : Blue zushi 1# 96 gram And from the mutant i made 15 gram of fresh frozen bubble hash, wich was very nice.
