SUNDAY 6/23: I floated a single Zkittlez bean today to try in my Summer outdoor grow. Once it sprouts I'll sprinkle it with great white and plant it in a rockwool cube. Once I see a good amount of roots sticking out I'll sprinkle the roots with mycotrex and plant it in a 3 gallon pot that's already prepared with startrex and silicium. I'm also gonna be using biotabs, orgatrex, bactrex, mycotrex, boom boom spray, PK booster compost tee, bud candy, and terpinator in this grow. I've got a new outdoor faucet timer that I'll have run a soaker hose for 10 minutes at a time, several times per day through the hottest part of the Summer. (105f-110f), and she will be located in a fairly shady spot,. Hopefully baked Zkittlez are as good as the regular kind...😁 MONDAY: I figured what the hell and floated a second Zkittlez bean today...I've got the space, and I really like candy... TUESDAY: The first one sprouted into an inch-long seedling overnight, so I dipped the taproot into Great White, and put some more down the hole before planting it. The second one sunk. For stealth purposes, simplicity in transfer, and to give the seedlings an advantage, I've decided to transfer the rockwool-cubed seedlings from the dome to some 6" pots (1/2 gallon) that I've prepared with startrex and silicium flash. I'll grow the seedlings under my 2000w blurple light for a couple of weeks before taking them outside. I should be able to carry all of them in a big box out to the site without injuring them. This will give me time to start sneaking the big pots out to the site. I'll pre-mix the startrex and silicium flash on-site and add the mycrotrex when I transplant them to the 3 gallon pots and give them a good douching with bactrex and orgatrex to get them started well. My soil has been recharging for several months with tons of good stuff added (earthworm castings, bat guano, azomite, biochar, bokashi, nectar for the godz one-shot and myco), plus I'll be growing them with the biotabs line of products, so they will have a good chance. I figure that I'll probably fix up their first batch of PK booster compost tea right away and douche them with it in their first week outdoors. Every little thing I can do to help them strengthen for the oncoming heat they'll experience...probably some extra kelp too... FRIDAY: Still only one of them has emerged, but it looks good so far. FRIDAY 7/5: Still just the one..giving up on the other. Week 2 begins Sunday.

D57 - We're heading into the fourth week of flower, and the girls are loving life. Both look healthy, vibrant, and strong, and they have started to smell. I did some defoliation to clean up the bottom of the plants by removing leaves that didn't receive any light. I also removed a few branches with tiny buds on them. I honestly should have removed them long ago as they don't get any proper light, so they will only drain resources and result in larf with airy buds. It is better late than never to remove them, as we still have a few weeks of flower to go, and I want the plants to focus on the main buds sites. Finally, I gave each girl 1.25-liters of compost tea @ pH 6.5. D59 - Installed a new USB oscillating fan since my old one gave up. These cheap fans aren't made to run continuously so they break down after a while. Still works well enough in my small tents. I also raised the light as the girls were getting bit close and I was reading almost 1100 PPFD at the top of the canopy. Way too much for an auto! D61 - There isn't much to do now when all training is done, and the watering is automatic. The girls are looking great though so I'm not complaining :D D63 - The end of another week and the girls are killing it! I'm really happy with how they are coming along, and everything is smooth sailing at this point. I gave each girl 1.25-liters of compost tea (worm castings, neem meal, rock dust, biochar, algae lime, bentonite, molasses) @ pH 6.6.

This week buds are super dense and getting frosty by the day. Starting to wish I made the best use of space as some of the lower canopy not recieving as much light. A little difficult to reach all plants. Arimq is very strong and citusy , pungent & fruity.

Checkout my Instagram @smallbudz to see the Small budget grow setup for indoor use, low watt, low heat, low noise, step by step. 04/01/2020 - Did the last defoliation, removed about 1/4 of plant material. 06/01/2020 - Fed her 1.5l of 6.5PH water with 0,3ml Cal Mag (Atami) 0,25ml of Grow, 0,6ml of Bloom and 0,5ml Max, and 1ml of each: Heaven, Alga-mic and Vera, noticed some run off, I use about 1/3 of the nutrient dosage on the chart, to achieve about 200/300PPM (500 scale).

Soaked 7.27 for 36ishhrs, into paper towel for 12 hrs then into a solo cup with greentree garden supply pro ultra (coco/perlite). No plan on veg time I dont know when I'll have an open tent for flower but it could be a very quick veg kinda pheno hunt deal. First feed was a diluted leftover feed from my auto youngins. Basically about 1 ml/g of grow, 7ml/g humid acid, 1ml/g more roots, 1ml/g orca, cannazyme, hydroguard and a sprinkle of living organics in the nutes and on the top of the coco. Usually the ppm will be higher than I want it so I just dilute with r/o water until I'm down to 200-250. It makes it so I cant be accurate on ratios so that's why I'm tellin ya, but it's how I always do it no matter what nutes I use.

March 28th: She's still standing. I tried to take some trichome shots, but i'm not sure how well they are. It's my first shot at it, so cut me some slack! I gave about two gallons of water this week. I'm not sure if she's still drinking a lot, or if the pot getting dry faster is due to a few degree increase in temperature. All of the water was straight well water, not pH'ed. Which reminds me: pH of water doesn't matter when using living soil. The pH of the Soil is what matters. pH in hydroponics makes sense because the water is where your plants will pick up nourishment. The medium for hydro IS the water, which means your water needs proper pH. In soil, the pH is due to all the calcium, magnesium, micro and macro nutrients and minerals that are in it. That will create a pH in your soil. Now, you can also get a high pH in your soil due to sodium build-up. This isn't what you're looking for, as sodium build-up in soil is a no-no. Now, for the fun fact: If you have a low pH in your soil because you don't have enough calcium, pH'ing your water isn't going to do anything. You gotta fix the soil problem, which will correct the pH of the soil, and trying to use pH'ed water isn't the solution. You'd have to add more calcium to your soil to fix it. Anyway. Light intensity is still at 100%. As you can see, i've got some floppy branches on this cultivar. I gotta admit, i love when branches start floppin' around. It tells me that the plant is close to harvest! Just gotta wait on those trichomes to get a few more amber, then she'll be ready to chop. She's still only showing fade ever so slightly. The purple hue is nice, but i wish it would become a bit more pronounced. Maybe it will over the next few days. Esta semana las chicas han mejorado un poco, se detuvo el amarillamiento, descubri que Cal-Max de Grotek interfiere en la composicion de la linea hesi por lo que las chicas sufren un bloqueo de nutrientes, dejé de utilizarlo y las chicas han continuado con su desarrollo relativamente normal. ya estan en su 5ta semana de floracion, Tutankhamon ha producido una cantidad gigantesca de resina, Lennon esta engordando a toda velocidad y aun le quedan 6 semanas aprox. Anubis a pesar de su color intenso amarillo palido esta engordando bastante bien y su produccion de resina es inimaginable y ya solo que quedan 2 semanas y media aprox. espero que a partir de ahora ya no surjan mas problemas y que las chicas terminen su floracion de la mejor manera. esto es todo por esta semana chicos, espero que se encuentren muy bien ! This week the girls have improved a little, the yellowing stopped, I discovered that Cal-Max from Grotek interferes with the composition of the hesi line so the girls suffer a nutrient lock, I stopped using it and the girls have continued with their relatively normal development. They are already in their 5th week of flowering, Tutankhamun has produced a gigantic amount of resin, Lennon is gaining weight at full speed and he still has about 6 weeks left. Anubis, despite its intense pale yellow color, is gaining weight quite well and its resin production is unimaginable and there are only about 2 and a half weeks left. I hope that from now on no more problems arise and that the girls finish their flowering in the best way. This is it for this week guys, I hope you are doing well!

Harvested day 51 due to bananas 🍌. He is under developed and needed 5 or 6 more weeks. I'll dry and test, probably go in edibles.

End of week 4 and all is going well, had a slight calcium issue on a couple of leaves, but it was corrected and all is good again. This girl is responding well to the nutes, but my run-off is getting a little high, that should change when I cut out the Flora Micro and just feed calmag, Dnectar and KoolBoom for the next couple of weeks. Any comments or suggestions? Wish me luck.... just a few weeks to harvest now.

Alright grow cycle, mistakes, improvements, etc... She did stay in veg for too long, her growth was slow and not the best and so she took quite long, next time i'll be there from the beginning so I can take care of her throughout. But her growth is really fun. It is a tall growing sativa with fairly tight noding when trained accordingly, producing long filled colas. The buds grow fairly dense and fluffly but do air out a little when dried. Trichome production was pretty impressive as well as terpene production. She had thrips since her early days but did not seem to mind them at all. I did spray them initially but once flower started I stopped. I believe predatory mites might have been feeding on the pupae in the soil, if that is what this specific species of thrips did, the reason I say that is I could never see adults only larvae. Whatever the case maybe they were there but the population never really increased. Something I did not mention during the grow is that those plants were played music during the days, music that is apparently developed for plants. The 10L pot was WAY too small for a true sustainable living organic and to provide enough space for the plant, that was a mistake, I'd say a 20L would be the bare minimum and still. The bigger the better. The hempy transfer did not hurt the plant and I believe even helped to some extent, BUT, I am still running test on the subject and so can't confirm anything, here are my observations Roots did not colonize the perlite, a little on top and the sides but that was it, I was expecting to see a big root mass in there. I believe hempy are great for salt fert as it hold a soup of nutes where the plant can feed from since the coco only holds very little Whereas in nature most nutrient are in the top soil where the highest amount of decomposition happens, this is where the highest microbial activity happens and so where the plant will find food. Living organic is trying to reproduce nature and so there is no need for the plant's roots to gather at the bottom of the pot. Although it could have potentially provided the plant access to a larger amount of water and possibly more oxygenation of the pot. Those are all theories, please speak up if you have other proofs. In conclusion , unless i get proven otherwise by someone or my latest running experiment , I will not be using hempies again as I believe it brings more complication and issues than a simple fabric pot. The lights, The 600w at the start was good, then I decided to add a 400w...😂 That was completely overkill and not necessary. Waste of electricity. And they started suffering from too much light it seems at some point, I raised the light by a good 30 cm and they were fine. 600 is more than enough. I am happy about how the soil performed but it has room for improvements. As for the watering technique I have been watering large ammount every few days, next time I will be giving constant small amount of water each day and a soak every week or so, I believe the soil might perform better under those conditions. She was also an easy plant to harvest whit her long colas which had very little foliage, I do trim in excess as I like my buds extra clean but the buds are not excessively bushy. The trims were use to make some bubble hash, around 100g of wet trims yielded around 1.5-2g of bubble hash. I did add a negative effect but only because it wouldn't give me a smile otherwise, but to be honnest it barely dries your mouth. The soil is going to be recycled and reused in a next grow. I can't think of anything else at the moment but if you have any question don't hesitate.
