Week 9 April 9 -a lot of progress since last weeks flip. She is stretching but it seems manageable right now prolly about to get crazy come next week -did a lil defoliation to open up bud sites to light but that’s all -number 85 and 86 stem rubs have that soap astringent smell to leave and are the loudest outta the bunch - 88 and 86 have great structure the side branches are coming up to fill in the net very well so looking at them for possible breeding in the future -while defoliating the purple stems bleed purple/purplish red. I thought sour d was strictly an all green plant but it may be because this is an f2 generation and these plants are showing recessive traits. We shall see -it’s strictly watering 2 times a week (Sunday and Wednesday) alternating between recharge, stash blend and FPJ. FPJ is top watered in to help break down organic amendments -Just switched to FPJ of a past harvest will use throughout flower to see if it makes a difference compared to PK booster

Starting the week off very healthy. Only change is the adjustment of light height and the removal of Mass Pro. I’m seeing very rapid growth both vertically and horizontally. Plants are showing signs of pre-FLOWER, light intensity was moved up to 80% with a max 700 PPFD. So far so good. All plants are happy and healthy…

Usually keep in the shed in the evenings but a rather strong edible made me forget that I left the plant outside overnight.. she was covered in dew in the morning and it was overcast so the sun wasn't burning it off. Because of this, I pulled her maybe 1 week too soon but she was almost done so can't complain. Only downside was I lost 30g + to bud rot during drying 😭

Week is going good except for the shortage of co2 around here. Lot of clean up in lower parts of the plants as it is just not needed and will get better airflow in the room. Things are coming along as expected.

Gestern wurde ein letztes Mal entlaubt, ich denke so in 10 Tagen fange ich dann mit Terra Aquatica Flash Clean und Final Part an (dauert dann auch nochmal insgesamt 12 Tage die Prozedur). Die Buds duften sehr gut und die Pflanze ist mehr als gesund. Sie wird jeden Tag fetter und fetter. Also 3 Wochen dann wandert sie in den Cannatrol Cool Cure. Ich denke so 100 g dürften es trocken sein, wir werden sehen.

Well, this was a interesting first journey.... the buds finished drying today, 5 days drying, added pics and vids. Just curing to go.... ah nice buds :) Edit: i forgot to mention i went over the buds when i harvested them, and checked / removed any impurities, like gnats caught in the sticky bud.... picked em clean with tweezers... 👍 Edit: needed to air/dry out the buds abit more, and get some Boveda Humidipak for curing.... it's looking good... i'll update with some pics of trimmed, cured buds 😎 The buds turned out beautiful, pungent, pine, berry, citrusy, daytime, medical..... this has theoretical 1:1 - 21% THC, 19% CBD, so it's not going to give u a knockout high.... its medical grade 1:1 ....... side effects - happy, relaxed. haha :) I weighed it dry and came up with about 123.32g (4.35oz) ... i used abit of guesswork in the weight, not to concerned with weight, as to quality.... (that weight is with the test buds added in, +-15g.) .... you can guess the weight from the pics and vids, haha I really enjoyed growing this.... i found the website by looking up the seeds, decided to start a grow diary, it's my first grow, i made alot of mistakes and growdiaries really helped alot, joined a chat group with some other really good growers. Edit - Day 111 - added vid/pic, Been curing for a week, burp and roll em abit twice a day....... smell and taste nicer each day, 👍 Edit - Day 112 - added good vid of trimmed up test bud, beautiful ...... Début de semaine 8 remplies de surprises, la tente de culture qui avait du retard selon moi par rapport à la deuxième tente, a progressé à une vitesse fulgurante, certes les plantes qui composent celle-ci sont plus petites mais la canopée est plus uniforme et il est à présent difficile de différencier dans ce que l’on voit de qui appartiens à qui tellement chaque plante à des ramifications remplies de bourgeons, un vrai régal pour les yeux et le nez. Elles font rêvées, ces jolies demoiselles... Ma deuxième tente que je pensais nickel si ce n'est que je n'ai pas su contrôler leurs hauteurs et que je me suis retrouvé avec les pointes qui touchaient la lampe, enfin après avoir tricoté un peu et diriger les branches en les attachants des fois avec de la laine, j'ai pu reprendre un peu le contrôle et m assurer que la lumière transite bien dans toute l'espace de culture devenu une vraie forêt. Et la surprise à 2 semaine de la fin, alors que je comptais commencer mon rinçage, je me suis aperçu que certaines de mes feuilles de la partie basse, comportaient des taches suspectes, après investigations et recherche sur internet, j'avais des thrips ! Etant en phase de floraison très avancés, mes moyens de traitements contre ces nuisibles sont donc presque nul, traitement chimique interdit, me reste donc comme solution le protoxyde d’hydrogène mais très discutés sur la toile ou les avis divergent beaucoup... le savon noir, dont beaucoup de sites présentes des recettes qui peuvent nous être très utiles , les bandes adhésives bleu prévus pour les thrips, et la dernière solution éliminé manuellement a la main... Après avoir lu et fouiller le net, je me suis tourné vers growdiaries et je me suis rendu sur le chat du site ou j'ai fait la connaissance de chouettes personnes qui me sont venus en aide et je les remercie encore grandement. Pour ma pars face à ce nuisible, j'ai suivi leurs conseils : savon noir plus éliminé à la main et contrôle minution chaque jour. Si je peux les nommes, merci à laBOSSANOVA, bird_of_prey et weedawan pour leurs conseils et leurs sympathies, première demande d’entraide réalisé à merveille. Ce site est juste top.

D-70 : At this stage, I'm a bit.... surprised that the Desfrans are not taller thant they are. The smallest one is 35cm wich is really small for a 100% sativa strain. The tallest one is about 56cm, wich is also quiet small I think. If I compare with some other diaries, the tallest one could be in the target if we take into account that I trained them a lot during their first weeks. But the small one is almost the half she should be... There's no sign of deficency, none ! I have 420w @ 50 cm from the top, so it's not because of the light. The container is a 20L smartpot. I simply do not understand. Is it juste because of that phenotype ? Will she grow during the next 7-9 weeks untill she'll recover her late ? I Modified a bit the position of the light so the Lumatek 100w FullSpectrum on the side of the box is really pointed to the "slow" girls. We'll see if it change anything but I really doubt about it... The only lead I have is : Desfran loves HEAT and Light. The 2 smallest are on the coldest side of the box, even if it's not cold at all. But it is the side near the window...
