Day 39 to 46 of flower Basically the girls are on autopilot, with the autopots and Gaia green there really isn't much to do, both methods are super user friendly and the basic needs that need to be meet are just ph water in the reservoir every couple days and then watch them stack buds on top of buds...Occasionally I move a branch over to another square in the net to make room but Basically after the last top feeding it's just watch and weight, pun intended....

1/17 - Day 62 / Day 35 Flower Pots felt dry so decided to give them about a half gallon of spring water each. This wasn't enough to induce runoff. Will save that for a bigger watering later this week. Nutrient issues continue to persist. **************************************************** 1/19 - Day 64/ Day 37 Flower - Feeding day Pots were feeling dry again. After about a week of laying off the nutrients following the flush, I gave them a feeding today with their watering. In retrospect, I probably shouldn't have waited this long to re-introduce nutrients as some of the lag in recovery is probably due to the fact that I flushed all of the food. The feeding solution consisted of the following: - 1 gallon distilled water - 5ml of FF Tiger Bloom (1/2 dose) - 10ml of FF Big Bloom (2/3 dose) Adjusted the solution to the following conditions before feeding: - pH: 6.5 - TDS: 303ppm - EC: .6 I gave each of the 5 gallon pots about a half gallon each of the solution, followed by enough spring water to induce runoff (approximately another half gallon). I tested the runoff for both of my 5 gallons and returned the following readings; Z51: - pH: 6.4 - TDS: 649ppm - EC: 1.3 Z52: - pH: 6.2 - TDS: 669ppm - EC: 1.3 I was encouraged that both plants are close to being within my ideal range and hopefully this means that they will start to show signs of recovery in the next week. **************************************************** 1/21 - Day 66 / Day 39 Flower I'm growing in an attic space and we've had a drop in temperature over the last couple days, my heating system was working overtime and more heat was rising into the space. I woke up today and the temp in my grow tent was registering in at 87F. I decided to play around with my temperature threshold on my fan controller, reducing the max heat threshold to 80 from 85. What I didn't account for was that I had a low humidity threshold of 30% (which I assumed meant that that fan would stop running if it hit this point). It turns out that my fan actually kicks ON when it hits that threshold... As a result. my fan was short cycling through the night where it would turn on when the heat exceeded 80 (causing humidity to decrease) then turn on again when it hit my low humidity threshold - creating wide swings in my temp and humidity. I'll tell you what, if I don't produce any viable bud this grow, I can honestly say I made up for the loss based on the education I've received. The nutrient deficiency issues are still present but don't appear to be getting worse. The leaves on my Z51 are pretty pale, it's clear they are starving for nitrogen but I am reluctant to try and address issue at this point. I'm planning 2 more light feedings over the next two weeks so hopefully this will be enough to get them to harvest. **************************************************** Day 1/22 - Day 67/Day 40 Flower My girls are really starting to frost up and the colas feel noticeable more dense by the day. I would have thought that the smell would have been stronger by now. Not sure if this is a consequence of my carbon filter doing such a good job or whether the buds are having developmental issues. When I get up close and smell the buds, I get a faint aroma but not the strong sweet and gassy smells that I've read about on other journals. I watered the 5 gallons today with a gallon of spring water each. My soil is not as airy as it once was and has started to cake up around the roots. I do my best to try and loosen up the dirt, usually to no avail. I was short for time so I didn't have a chance to test the runoff.

Week 11 Update – Harvest Time Approaching! 🌱✂️ BioBizz#1 – BT51 She’s done! She hasn’t had any water for the past five days and will be harvested later this week. AN#4 – BT51 She still needs a little more time—probably another 1-2 weeks before she’s fully ready. AN#3 – BT47 Somehow, she’s managing despite the extremely close distance to the light. I haven’t held back on PPFD at all, but she’s handling it like a champ. Super curious to see what kind of yield she’ll bring in! 😅

Hi Growmies, I'm excited to share some big news today! Although there have been some unexpected twists, it's all part of the incredible journey of gardening. I've just completed the harvest, a tad earlier than initially planned, due to finding a bit of mold in one of the buds. Despite this minor hiccup, the trichomes were already at a decent 10% to 15% amber. So, all things considered, the timing ended up being pretty spot-on. The harvested weight was a solid 609 grams after trimming, which is quite a feat! A lesson learned for next time: perhaps I let her grow a few too many buds, leading to a denser canopy than ideal. But on the bright side, the aroma is absolutely divine. I sampled an airy bud that had dried a bit, and wow, it packs a stronger punch than its clone mother. And the flavor? Pure, unadulterated cheese – no hint of pineapple here! Now, the anticipation builds for the final dry weight, which I should know in about 3-4 days. It's always exciting to see the fruits of our labor fully realized. A huge thanks to everyone who's been following along on this journey. Your interest and support mean the world. And now, the adventure continues! I've started on Epic Buzz by Anesia Seeds. The diary for this new chapter is up and running, and the seedlings have already sprouted, marking the beginning of another exciting phase. (https://growdiaries.com/diaries/185718-grow-journal-by-salokin) I can't wait to share more updates with you all. Here's to the continued growth and learning in our gardening adventures!

Hello Diary. Fourth week of flowering and the Hulkberries look great, two more weeks and we will have a harvest. 😎 The branches started to bend from the weight of the flowers, so after taking photos in the box I put wooden sticks to stabilize it. Hulkberry # 1 which is much more branched than # 2, got three rods because I had to connect almost every branch. At Hulkberry # 2, one rod was enough, and I tied it lightly around with a rope. 💪 The flowers look great and there are a lot of them, on the lower branches they are not so developed, but I expected that considering the shade from the upper branches and the distance of light. I’m not very great with descriptions, so I have photos that describe it a lot better than I will in words. 😉 Earlier this week I inserted two dehumidifiers that have some gel in them that gradually absorbs moisture, I can’t say anything drastic has happened, the humidity in the air is still higher than I would like at this stage. Two circular fans and a large exhaust fan that I put on maximum is all I can do at the moment. The temperature is also high in the box, it is around 28 degrees but sometimes it rises up to 29 degrees, but genetically they belong to a warmer climate, so it might suit them warmer. They look happy. 😎 As we get closer to the end, I decided this was the last week that they got BioBizz, so from now on they’re just on the water. I also made a little effort to take more photos. How could they not when they are so beautiful. 😍 Let’s take a look at what this week looked like. 02/08/2020 - Day 45. Watering. This time I watered only with water, I did not add BioBizz food. I still regulated the water at p.H 6.5 with Plagron’s, Lemon Kick. Each time I prepare 7 lit. water and with that I water all three plants evenly. 06/08/2020 - Day 49. Photographing and watering. Last feeding, I added BioBizz on schedule for week 7. In 7 lit. water I added BioBizz and adjusted p.H to 6.5. That's all for this week. The plants are beautiful, they smell great and now I can’t wait for the end. See you soon.

🌱 Germination Journey with Terpyz Mutant Mentha de Croco 🌱 Hey Grow Fam! Today kicks off an exciting adventure with Terpyz Mutant Mentha de Croco genetics. I’ve got 10 regular seeds ready to sprout, and I’m looking forward to discovering some beautiful female phenotypes—and maybe even a standout male for potential future breeding. It’s been a while since I’ve worked with regular seeds, so I’m thrilled to dive in! Germination Process Overview: Here’s a step-by-step rundown of the germination setup and process, with a special focus on the equipment and nutrients that are helping these seeds thrive right from the start. Step 1: TheCannaKan Germination Pod 🌱 For germination, I rely on TheCannaKan—a device I’ve come to love and trust. It’s designed to create the perfect microclimate for seed germination, and within just 24 hours, the seeds started showing signs of life. By the 32-hour mark, they were all ready to be transferred to the next stage! I can’t recommend this gadget enough for anyone serious about getting strong, early growth from their seeds. • Why TheCannaKan? • Humidity Control: Ensures seeds stay hydrated without oversaturation. • Stable Temperature: Maintains an even temperature around the seeds, so there’s no shock or stalling. • Enhanced Oxygenation: Keeps fresh air circulating, helping prevent mold and ensuring seeds don’t suffocate. Step 2: Transfer to Root Riots & Aptus Holland Supplements 💧 Once the seeds were sprouted, I transferred them into Root Riots, known for their excellent water retention and structure that encourages strong root growth. Root Riots also have a pH-balanced, spongy texture that makes it easy for roots to penetrate, promoting sturdy, healthy root systems. At this stage, I started using Aptus Holland’s Regulator and Startbooster at 1ml/L each. Here’s why I chose these products for early growth: • Aptus Regulator (1ml/L): Helps strengthen the plants against environmental stresses by supporting cell wall structure. It’s a fantastic choice for giving young seedlings an early boost in resilience. • Aptus Startbooster (1ml/L): This product provides essential microbes and nutrients that stimulate root growth and early plant vigor. Especially for regular seeds, the early root development makes a noticeable difference in later growth stages. Step 3: Lighting with Future of Grow (FOG) LED at 200 PPFD 💡 For lighting, I’m using a Future of Grow (FOG) 600W LED. For the germination stage, I’ve dimmed it to around 200 PPFD (photosynthetic photon flux density), which provides just enough light for healthy, strong seedling growth without overwhelming them. • Why Low Intensity? • 200 PPFD ensures that young plants aren’t exposed to too much light, which could cause stress or stunting. This level of intensity is perfect for encouraging healthy development without risking “stretching.” • The FOG LED provides a balanced spectrum tailored to plant growth, setting up these young sprouts for success as they grow. Step 4: Environmental Control with TrolMaster Tent X Controller 📲 For monitoring and control, I’m using the TrolMaster Tent X Controller, which lets me dial in every aspect of the environment to make sure these little ones have the perfect conditions for germination and early growth. • TrolMaster Benefits: • Precision Control: Adjust temperature, humidity, and lighting all in one place. • Notifications: Sends updates in real-time to my device, so I can make adjustments as needed without being physically present. • Consistency: Maintains stable conditions around the clock, reducing stress on seedlings and ensuring they’re thriving. Grow Tips & Reflections: Germination is one of the most crucial stages in a plant’s lifecycle. Starting with strong genetics like Terpyz Mutant Mentha de Croco, combined with a solid germination setup and the right nutrients, creates the foundation for a successful grow. 💡 Quick Tips for Fellow Growers: • Hydration Balance: Don’t oversaturate! Moisture levels should be high enough for the seeds to sprout but not so wet that they drown. • Light Management: A low PPFD for young seedlings prevents stretch and keeps nodes tight, preparing them for a healthy vegetative phase. • Environment Consistency: Use a reliable controller like the TrolMaster Tent X to manage your settings, and consider monitoring tools for real-time adjustments. Shout Outs to the Community: Big thanks to Terpyz Genetics for these incredible seeds, Aptus Holland for their top-notch nutrients, Future of Grow for the stellar LED lights, and TrolMaster for the amazing controller. Also, shout out to all of you in the growing community—you make this journey exciting and filled with endless learning. Let’s keep growing and sharing together! That’s it for the germination update! Next up, I’ll be monitoring growth closely to identify strong females (and maybe a standout male for breeding). Week 14 (Plant Week 14) = Flower Week 5 Humidity management became more serious, so I installed a dehumidifier. I focused on keeping the tent dry and stable, so everything runs properly (less risk of mold). Defoliation continued gradually across Week 13 into Week 14: small cuts consistently over time instead of one heavy session. Today (end of Week 14) I did the final defoliation session. This is the last major trim; I’m not planning to remove more leaves going forward. Buds now have a stronger smell, and the resin is very sticky during handling. If you want it even tighter, here’s a one-paragraph version you can use as a caption: Caption version: “Flower Week 3–4: Started gradual defoliation and canopy control. Plants kept stretching longer than expected, so I added new tie-down points and continued LST. Reduced light to ~60% after heavier trimming to reduce stress. Humidity was high, so I installed a dehumidifier in Week 4 and focused on keeping the tent dry and stable. Today I finished the final defoliation; buds are now noticeably more aromatic and extremely sticky/resinous.”

SUMMARY: I flushed the NL with tap water straight from the hose. I’ve heard you’re supposed to flush with 3x the container volume, however that would be around 57 litres for a 5 gallon pot which seems absurd. I didn’t record the amount but I took my time and flushed with at least 30 litres. I will now continue to flush until harvest on 10th April by which point she should have faded nicely and used up any residual nutes. I read that the each time you water/irrigate you draw oxygen into the root zone and this promotes growth and in turn helps to increase yield and so I will endeavor to water her twice per day now until harvest. DAY 86 ----------- Sunday 28th March I flushed the NL with tap water straight from the hose. I’ve heard you’re supposed to flush with 3x the container volume, however that would be around 57 litres for a 5 gallon pot which seems absurd. I didn’t record the amount but I took my time and flushed with at least 30 litres.

Seemingly overnight, the A.K. plant overcame Sour Ripper in growth! Been a fun week as far as the plants go, havent needed to water them at all. Ill take a peak into the tent occasionally, witnessed the growth pick up exponentially this week. I noticed the pots are getting pretty light when i was taking these pictures. Will likely water them tomorrow. Notes for those interested: My last grow was RUINED from consistently overwatering and NEVER checking pH of feed water. Everything that could have went wrong as a result, did go wrong. Murphy's Law eh? Just trying to see to it that doesnt happen again. For those interested in the DWC girls, their growth has been nothing less than great 👍. It was less than two weeks ago that i went to the local hydro shop to pick up some hydroguard and damn! Is that shit good or what?! Root rot has been stripped away in almost ALL of my DWC girls, tons of white, happy root growth in their place. Ive decided that i will flip them all either halfway through this week or monday of next. Going to mother both A.K. and S.R. 2-3 weeks into flower transition. Again, great job @RipperSeeds and @Nirvana, really loving this stuff.

Welcome to week 8 of flower!! Things are really starting to get heavy and loaded in frost! I will be checking the trichomes this week to see what plants are nearing the end and which ones will still need a bit more time to mature and finish. To say the least Im very excited to get to the finish line with these ladies! Huge shout outs go to @MarsHydroLED and Hidden Vault Genetics for their dedication on making stellar gear that making growing extra fun and really easy. Huge HUGE shout outs go to all my followers and to the people who stop into the diary alike to show their support! Keep on inspiring to grow! -The Projexx Day#50F Some of the ladies are still putting on some mass! Day#51F Pictures N/A. Macmelonz and Banana Smoothie #1 will deff need more time to finish then the rest of the ladies in this room! Day#52F Started removing some leaves from the bottom , I will be looking to continue this until harvest day. Day#53F I knew I should have installed the second net, Some of the flowers are leaning right over now haha. Going to get some stakes to add into the buckets for some support. Day#54F Checked the trichomes looking like 6 of the 8 plants will be starting their flush while Macmelonz and Banana Smoothie #1 will continue to feed for a bit longer before starting to flush. Day#55F Really digging trichome production on Creamy Cereal #2 , she's got a wild Lucky Charms aroma to her that's quite unique.

🌱 Week 3, Day 7 Update: Buds Are Blooming! 🌿 Hey Grow Fam, We're cruising through Week 3, and my girl is really coming on—buds are starting to form, and it's a sight to behold! The girl is growing so fast now, drinking 4.5L a day. She could even do with in-between waterings, in my opinion. She's aiming for the stars and shooting for the moon, getting bigger every day and stinking out my room. I had to tie my light higher up with some rope as it wouldn't go any higher, and shoots were getting way too close! I did SCROG when flipping, and I should've been a bit more strict on it (did it longer), but now I realize why SCROG is used. Imagine if I never used it—she would be way too tall. Overall, I'm so happy with how she is growing and can't wait to see the final product. :) But, as with any journey, we've hit a little bump in the road. Despite keeping our feeding consistent at 850ppm, the runoff readings have been creeping up. Last check-in showed a runoff of 1400ppm. It's got me thinking we might be dealing with a salt buildup in the root zone. To address this, I'm sticking with our feeding routine at 800-850ppm. If the runoff ppm keeps climbing or if our plants start showing signs of nutrient burn, I will adjust accordingly, but as of right now, I'm sticking to the same feed as she looks great! ( If I do begin to notice signs of nutrient burn (excess), I will try to water with a lower EC/PPM, like 700ppms, to bring it down. But if I don't get the results I'm hoping for, I will just flush the plant with 3x the media size of water (just plain pH water) to wash out any old salts and reset the medium. You don't really want to do this with coco depending on what stage your at in flower, veg on the other hand flush.? Sure!, if you really need to reset that medium go for it, (i do see tiny signs of burn but thats fine if it gets worse then i have a problem) Let's stay focused and keep our eyes on the prize—beautiful healthy buds. We've got this! #GrowUpdate #Week3 #BudsBlooming #KeepGrowing 🌱🌿
