Done final defoliation 3 days ago. Took 2 kg of leaf from 43 plants. Now they all fully exposed to the lamps. Buds will be fat on these girls . Smell is extra nice. Nice genetics. Start adding some magic juice.

Let’s Go day 29!! This week went real nice ! Girls are staying very healthy and building up nicely and even started showing signs of female sex which is super great ! We started doing a little bit of leaf tuck training method on em , nothing to big as like I said I want these girls just to do there thang an grow more on naturally side! My Air temp and Humidity have been on point all week, staying from 70-75 degrees throughout the day and humidity staying around 58-61% humidity , my girls are loving that summer an 75 feeling !! Finally finally flipped to flower. Should have happened well over a month ago, maybe 2. (Couldn't, because reasons) This has been a very long Vegg. But it gave me the chance to do all the stress techniques I wanted to try. Officially fixed my deficiency or toxicity as I come to find out.(I think) Waited at least 5 days before I felt safe to flip. Doing literally everything I can to bend this crazy tall girl down and at the right distance from the light. Some branches do a loop da loop. Haha. Some sweep way down then come back up. It's crazy! I am not trying to get quantity here. In fact, I'm doing everything I can to make sure I have very few tops and absolutely no lower canopy anything. Don't want any small larfy buds. Pushing all that energy to the few mainlines to see how large I can get the colas.

What a beautiful strain Orange Hill Special is, nice and bushy, great internodal spacing, sturdy and healthy. Happier and happier with how this grow is going. The less beautiful parts on top are my doing, my blind as a bat FIM destroyed half the top of the plant. More patience next time... The super soil is still performing great and I´m pushing up the dimmer to get the ladies used to more light, very carefully because leaves are folding every time. Some of you might be happy to find my European recipe/shopping list for super soil. I tried to make it with widely offered products throughout Europe. Feel free to use it and elaborate on it. If one product is not available in your country, please check the brands at the bottom, which might be available in your country, and substitute. The only thing one could add to the recipe (which I did but forgot in the shopping list) is some Epsom salt. Fed them again with my permaculture tea, all seem to flourish and smells are starting to come from the plant, with that same distinct dankiness I had in earlier grows with this tea. See the germination page and other diaries for more info on my Perma tea. Now they were big enough, some might even say too big, to start the real training. I always love to give them a little bend the week before, to get used to the idea. With some sterilized bamboo sticks I pushed the plants down to expose their sexy undersides. The genetics in this little lady are very good she stayed short.. All the stretching and bending are paying off right now she has a very nice even canopy .. Well we are gonna start to see some buds getting size now . Can't wait till next I also can't wait for the few bid sites I dusted with some male pollen ..

Very variable weather, summer is at the end, temperature drops quickly, even 60 °F. I was out for 3 days, on my return I found the three girls who were starting to wither but they were promptly watered. No damage to report. The yellowing of the lower canopy has started. Acceptable weather forecast until 10 September. I bought 5 transparent PCV tarps to protect them extemporaneously from the rain. My beloved Gorilla rocks! Buds are forming and filling very well, super sticky and frosty. Strong citron/bubblegum scent. This sativa-like pheno is funtastic, she is not very leafy, leaves are narrow so the sun penetrate very well through the whole plant. It remains to be seen how the buds will fill up and if my girl can disprove the reputation for "quality buds but low yields" . Let's see. Expected harvest September 3rd week.

Day 1: This was the fastest germination I have seen. Only 72hrs from being planted to looking happy and healthy above ground. My plan is to not water this week and only rely on the humidifier which is filled with Ph’d water for feeding the plant. Now that the seedling is above ground I have changed from the 3 small CFL’s to just one 200watt CFL. I’ve added a strip of silver tape around the inside of the top of the pot to help reflect light. Day 2: Looking good. I put a few drops of water around the seedling just to dampen the soil a bit. Temperature is a bit hotter than I’d like at 30 degrees with the lights on but that’s down to the outside warm weather conditions. Seems to be okay though. Day 3: Happy and healthy. I put another few drops of water around it again to keep the soil damp, but only in close to the seedling. I’m keeping the top layer of the rest of the soil dry so it’s not appealing for little bugs and mould. Underneath the dry layer the soil is still wet since I soaked it through before planting the seed. Day 4: Getting wider but not any taller which is awesome. I put another few drops of water around the bass of the stem. The humidity doesn’t seem to be enough on its own, probably because of the high temperature. Day 5: Happy and healthy looking. Day 6: Everything is awesome. Day 7: One week old and it’s all looking good. Another few drops of water again today around the stem. Plant is starting to take shape. Wahoo, one week down.

For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. AC Infinity does not extend the warranty to the replacement parts. I guess that makes sense since they would be in a state of perpetual free replacements. I bought a new one from Amazon that came with a new controller which is different from the controller 69 currently using. I decided that while it is very inconvenient and inefficient to monitor the tent through the day, I would rather finish this Frostbanger run without introducing a new unknown variable. I will continue using 3 circulating fans, the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already. Before FastBuds announced the strain name and characteristics, I was disappointed that FBA2502 could be an indica sleepy strain but the universe provides what you need at the time. The mycorrhizol with the guano is a mix for the perfect start I won't water much and by the time my roots get down there will be a thriving ecosystem waiting to welcome them. Grow report week 6: The recovery and the training Hello dear growers and growerettes, it’s time for an update on my grow. My plants have completed the sixth week and have grown further. But they also mastered some challenges that I will tell you about. The recovery This week I had to save my plants that suffered from a nutrient deficiency. The reason for this was the combination of osmosis water and BioBizz fertilizer, which the plants did not like. I came across reports on the internet that reported the same problems and switched back to normal tap water. The plants already started to turn yellow and showed signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. On the day of realization, I fertilized the ladies with normal tap water, as well as twice a week a mix of water, Acti-Vera and Fish-Mix from BioBizz as a foliar fertilizer. To be on the safe side, I watered two liters per plant today after almost complete drying out of the pots, which is a lot, but I wanted to make sure that the soil is equally well supplied. Since I have fabric pots, I worry less. I believe to recognize that the plants will make it, as their development has improved greatly. The next two weeks will show it. The training This week I continued the low-stress training and bent and tied the plants further. The low-stress training is a method to gently bend and tie the plants to improve the light distribution and air circulation. The goal is to keep the plants low and wide and promote more side branches and flower clusters. The training works very well with the gained experience now. The plants are bent in one week and will then be allowed to come up again. I hope all the work will pay off despite the short weakening of the plants. The outlook I am very satisfied with the result of the sixth week. My plants have recovered well and trained and have shown great growth. I look forward to the next two hopefully healthier weeks. Another warm week of flowering down and the smell has developed into dirty socks dipped in citrus! Bumped up the nutes a little bit more for this week. Trichs are looking great. The sugar leaves are darkening up well.

Watered each with 1ml/200ml once for each plant top of the week. Weather is now sub 16°C in the day time, i'm guessing the seedlings are hibernating for the cold. Mostly it rely on the rain to keep these drinking but i notice when the weather gets cold the plants drink less, anyway seeing their size looks like they really dont need much right now. most of the plants got attacked by some leaf eaters, nothing that major though, one of the plants is showing some burn, but nothing i can do about that... Basically on cruise control and i'm not really taking care of them. Companion plants seem like they're slowing too but less so than the cannabis plants. i pulled on pot marigold because it was just so huge, otherwise it's handsoff basically. Wish these poor plants good good luck - they really do need it ! 🚀

She was left alone for 10 days but it turns out that I managed to leave just the right amount of water in autopot. She used all the water and dried out her root just at the same time when I was back. She recovered nicely from overwatering and went pretty high witch was expected for part of sativa genetics in her. She was already in flowering phase but I still I decided to apply some heavy LST to lower her down and spread around the grow tent since she is the only one in. She has now covered 70% of my 80x80cm grow tent. Also I used BOOM BOOM spray twice to save her from LST shock. First added bactrex 1 gr, orgatrex 20ml in 1 lit (BIO TABS) . After that I was using combination of 2ml orgatrex and 2ml of BIO PK 5-8 in 1 lit water with each watering. And she really started to use loads of water, 1,5 lit per day. No photos during week 5 so I added early week 6
