Hey! Welcome to week 9 for Karen! Week 8 is now complete so please go and check it out 🙏. Big week last week... massive.
Day 57: Fertigated 6l. Height 40cm.
Day 58: Scent has stepped up again and I'm noticing some of bud sites starting to develop frost.
Day 58.5 Flushed with 20l of PH & CalMag.
Day 59: reorganised tent
Day 60: Fertigated 3l. Karen has put on a load of frost in the last 24h. I mean seriously. Smell stepped up again. Height 44cm.
Day 60.5: I have had a really good look at other KKA grows. I think Karen is going to need a few extra weeks. I think she will be ready for harvest in about week 14. So I think we have about another 4-5 weeks to go.
Day 61: Adjusted the LST a bit. She's frosting rapidly now. 😍😍🤩 Height 45cm. Width: 60cm x 70cm
Day 61.5: It is only 8 days since I *heavily* defoliated and I think I probably should do it again already. Things are progressing well at the moment though so I am trying to resist doing it too soon. She is still stretching.
Day 61.75: Right, I have done some research and I have made a decision,. I'm going to give Karen 2 full weeks from the last defoliation on day 53, so on day 67 (i.e half way through next week) I will defoliate and perform final LST just to space out the colas a bite more at the "top" of the plant.

Week Summary: Another big week with a plant barely recognisable from herself a week ago. As well as the ongoing stretch she has started to frost over this week and I am hoping this continues because more and more is appearing all over the place.

Semana 12 de los esquejes y su primera semana de floración, en realidad llevan 9 días de flora.
Hago los riegos 1/1, uno solo con agua(EC: 0.4) y el otro con los fertilizantes.
En los riegos estoy utilizando Sensi cal-mag para llegar a una EC base de 0.4 y luego aplicar los fertilizantes.
Regulo el PH con los reguladores de BioBizz.
Por lo demás todo va bastante bien, las dos plantas van con buen aspecto y sin posibles carencias, espero que todo siga así.
Seguimos con todo la flora!!

9/9 (Day 84)- Things are wrapping up I believe! Have continued to mainly just monitor and keeping the res topped with just the full tilt. Monday we be going RO water ph to 5.8 until finish. The leaves are starting to change to a yellow and the front and dive have been packing on! Looking forward to the finish and have ordered a rosin press so excited for it all and ready and looking forward to improving and learning from my mistakes this run.
9/11 (Day 86)- Did my final flush this morning and now just running RO water to flush. Just hoping I am not flushing too early. Everything is looking good. Dry tent is set up and ready to roll. I am able to get my area down to around 64. I am actually moving my set up after these girls finish to the room with my dry tent and have a better work area! I’m excited for the next run already!
As always any tips or recommendations always appreciated!

We had a couple unseasonably warm days this week, our wood furnace was going when the temps went up. The tent hit 27.5 degrees one day?, which resulted in the heat damage to the leaves. The leaves are also starting to die back faster. I have a feeling they may determine my harvest day instead of my trichomes. Still only some amber, maybe 5-10%, the rest are cloudy with very, very few clear

So as you can see, we have upgraded into a 5 gallon wide fabric pot and I'm going to give her another couple weeks to fill into her new home... i broke a couple of branches, definitely gave her silica to early on.. I'm not used to keeping plants in veg for this long... i do think when all said and done, she's gonna be a beast, so it'll be worth it... Thanks again @Grow4releaf!! Growth is amazing and the girls already need to be transplanted into their final 5 gallon pots.
Transplanting went well, I could have waited another week and I think it would have been better.
Anastasia is having issues with the main stem growing straight so I added supports to encourage straight growth. Drizella is too but not as severe.
During the transplant process. I also sprinkled Great White Mycorrhizae on the roots for better root health and to reduce transplant stress.
Nutrients still hand watering every other day to run off.
5.8 ph / 1.63 ec / 74.7 degrees
I reconditioned my coco coir from my first grow that was originally 1 bag of royal gold tupur blend which I believe produced some nats due to the forest material mixed in with the coco coir. This one original bag was enough to fill two 3 gallon pots and transplant them into two 5 gallon pots with a little left to spare.
I hand cleaned that first grow medium to remove all large root debris and then rinsed it thoroughly in Ro only water before letting it dry for several weeks leading up to this current transplant. I then soaked it in a solution of Sensizym and calMag to break down any remaining dead roots into nutrients while ensuring the medium is still well buffered.
The girls were started in the 3 gallon pots using a new bag of roots organics brand 70/30 coco coir/perlite. That medium had to be buffered well with calMag to avoid common Calcium and Magnesium deficiency that surface due to coco coirs ability to soak it up and steal it from the plant. This was a leason learned from my first grow that resulted in several foliage feedings to adjust for.
I was able to recycle a great deal of coco coir from my first grow which provided me enough to bump this grow up to three plants from two. So I used the recycled coco as the base and most of the back fill in all thee 5 gallon pots. I did have to use a little extra of the 70/30 to top everything off properly.
I still have a 1/4 of a bag of the 70/30 left dor future grows.

Day 43 this orange is running absolutely faster than the last I did. Every day flowers are getting bigggers and resin is awful to be at 42 days.
I’m really loving aptus product, but I really can’t ell what’s is pushing her so fast.
Behind, in the video, you can see another auto is a strawberry banana and germinated with just 24 h difference but is starting just now to get into flowering, same soil ‘, same feeding..

Welcome back to another week, finally decided to flip to flower as these girls do grow pretty quickly in DWC. Aiming for some nice quality buds bit also a decent yield of at least 1 gram per watt of light.
Nutrient solution has not been changing to complete flower schedule yet but I will be sure to switch it over in a few days. The crucial part now is keeping the EC and pH in a good range to avoid any deficiencies or Nutrient lock out.
Let's see what the stretch brings the first few weeks. Stay tuned, and I'll be back for the by the end of the week to report some video feedback.
End of the week has ending with a heavy defoliation session. Plants were getting bushy and covering potential tops so that needed to be addressed. For now, it will be selective defoliation once they have recovered, which should be in 2/3 days.

She's 4 feet tall!!! Wow! I'm a little concerned about light burn, but don't notice any signs of light burn yet. And she will be going outdoors soon. But I'm very impressed with this girl so far! 👍

The CBD started blooming at the end of last week. She's pretty small compared to the Gorilla Cookies, but she's still got a long way to go before harvest. The LST did the trick and I managed to create a nice even canopy. More pics and video's coming up later this week.

Was showing signs of nutrient lockout so decided to start flushing process.. amazing smell but this will be the last ever diary of disco biscuits as she has outstayed her welcome.
Not as fat as I’d like her to be but still 2 weeks remaining before chop.
