D-56 : The girls are great, beautyful and starting to stretch fast. No deficiency, no watering or feeding trouble, the temperature is a bit high but this variety are really comfortable with temperatures between 27 and 30°C, so I maintain it around 27-29°c during the day time. The horizontal space is fully occupied already. But, I guess the Desfrans are growing vertically now. However, I'll continue to reasonably defoliate to let light and fresh air go through the canopy. As I start the second flowering week, the flowers should apear... can't wait to see the first ones !

Hey Growers & Tokers! Sorry for the delay with the weekly updates, some things I had to attend to but i'm back and at it! Alright, so this week 21 days had passed since the 12/12 switch. So there was a little defoliation done. Taking away all of the big fan leaves and some of that extra bottom growth I didn't want, that tiny twig I left behind in hope that they'd grow.. but they didn't 😑 I won't be taking anything else away from here on out it's just feeding and caring.. maybe pluck a leaf here and there. She's growing nicely, bud sites are stacking up correctly, very happy I didn't give on this one when she was struggling as a seedling. Good color, very healthy. Good to see there are no deficiencies or signs of stress which is just awesome! Besides the defoliation there really hasn't been any news. Feed: 1,5L every other day. Hope you all have a good one! Day 65 - Pics/Vids..... Everything looks good......stress bent them into position and defoliated ..... lots of flowering now..... ..... hadn't actually measured them for awhile, and updated the height, 44 cm .... tested out the lights higher, 40cm away, and seemed to slow down growth... so moved em back, 20-25cm... watering is the same, bottom saucer feeding, 850-1000 ppm dutch master one flower 5-8ml/lt.... actually using about 12-15ml / 1.8l....... Day 70 (10 wks) - Pulled em both out of tent, flushed em and trimmed em abit, took some pics/vids in the sunshine. ...... the soil started smelling bad, - stale, moldy, damp, soil smell..... so i did a full flush out on both.... noticed afew gnats, been afew since the start, but haven't really been many.... i'm going to try out a UV bulb, and also a usb uv led bug trap ..... just ordered them.... posted a pic of both... see if they are any good..... 😎

Im thinking tonight’s will be the final water change given how things are looking. Probably harvesting in 7-10 days. Trichs are looking cloudy but no amber yet and still to many white pistils showing for harvest. The smell is pretty strong now. I installed a carbon filter and 6” inline fan to fix that since it was permeating the House. Within an hour the odor is completely gone. Bummer the cabinet doesn’t hide much but I understand why. The plant up front has markedly smaller buds and colas than the plant in the back still. I’m so ready to harvest and start planning my next grow. Thinking Pineapple Chunk?

Day 77-84 (April 17th-24th) (Day 78) I honestly cant believe I’ve been vegging this long. The growth for almost 80 days of veg is laughable. I’ve compiled a little list of what has gone wrong so far. - I added too much glacial moraine which made the soil too water retentive - I’ve been foliar feeding too much kelp - I gave too many bloom nutrients for a plant in veg - EDIT: DID NOT WATER ENOUGH AT ONCE The plants have been drooping like crazy this past week and I’m going to try watering in a full gallon per plant. I first thought it was from the medium not drying out enough, soil compaction ect. and I’m sure those are definitely areas where my soil mix could improve but the bottom of the container is pretty damn dry. I could actually be under watering despite soaking the top with 500ml a day. I’m going to sit the pots on some plastic sheeting so they don’t evaporate as much from the bottom and water in a full gallon each making sure I get some runoff. I was going to wait until I get my air pump but fuck it, it’s coming tomorrow afternoon. The pots are so big that they’re not fully wetting to the bottom even with a gallon. I’m going to try to water in a gallon every 4 days while keeping the top soil moist with the sprayer. In hindsight 6 plants in 5-7 gallon pots would be the most ideal. (Day 79) Holy fuck did a full gallon watering make a difference. I should have been doing this the whole time. All 4 plants are praying and stretching upward like crazy. They just look more vigorous and happy within a day. I bet they will be even happier with that supplemental air. If things stay this smooth I should be able to flip around day 84, possibly earlier. Got my air pump in the mail today. This is kind of a shot in the dark so hopefully it works. It’s super loud and vibrates like crazy. First I’m going to try running it 24/7 and see if there is any improvement over the next few days. If it does work, I’ll try running it on my humidity controller so it’s not constantly humming and will only turn on when the humidity is high. I’m going to turn the night time temps down to 70f to prevent root problems now that I’m watering much bigger amounts less frequently and it’s getting warmer during the day. (Day 81/Day 1F) Ever since I’ve been watering in the proper amounts I have seen an absolute explosion in growth. I’ve decided to flip today, now that I’m confident my soil mix isn’t completely fucked. I might run into some N/mg problems during the stretch so I will make sure to give a final foliar feeding around the end of week 1. (Day 3F) So I’m literally seeing dwc growth rates now. Plants have grown more in the last 5 days than the last 3 weeks. If I had stayed at this pace of growth since day 1, I would have an 8 foot tall plant or I would be halfway through flower already. Oh well. Good learning experience. *grits teeth* I’m going to put up the second layer of trellis before these girls stretch out of control. Bbb#3 is seriously stretchy and will likely more than double in size in the next 2 weeks. The other 4 are all quite stout and bushy. I’m giving a light, preemptive defoliation each day and picking off some of the lower sucker branches. I will do a full strip around day 21F.

She is bulking up now :) some leaves show some brown discolouration but nothing too serious. Just removed 2-3 Leaves that were not looking too good. Just let the plant do its thing. Light hits with about 850 PPFD

I know it is only two weeks but compared to other auto flower plants during this stage I'm starting to think that all three of my girls are stunted. I did have an issue during week 1. My light wasn't 18 inches as Mars Hydro indicated. I still had my lights height at 24inches.

First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps.
