06/07/2024 : almost done, waiting a few days more to harvest the other half. With direct lighting, lower buds are getting purple too. I vaped a 5 days dried sample : of course it didn't taste good yet but there was a noticeable fruity touch and a powerfull earthy one. I experienced long lasting light stone effect, quite surprising for me! I'll recheck after 2 weeks curing. 06/10/2024 : no camera today so sorry for poor quality pics. I trimmed dried buds and got 43g with a decent amount of kief (from trim then shaked) that turned in 3.2g hash. All this just with top buds...😀 Then I checked BB and saw that every upper buds turned purple so I decided to harvest a second time and let all the green material on the plant for another time. I removed all fan leaves and biggest sugar ones, debudded and got 176g wet buds (part 2) that went to drier.

Welcome to the Week 10 update for the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL Auto’s. Not much to report as this grow is on cruise control until harvest. I will be finishing up with the bloom fertilizer and starting to flush as these lovely ladies finish out Week 10 and move into Week 11. Defoliating as necessary and consistently checking trichomes as I’ve already spotted the first few ambers in and among the already cloudy trichs! Thanks for stopping by and checking out my grow! 😎

The plants seem to do very well they have been suffering from a little bit of Heat stress and too much light intensity the light was at 15 in to see if I could get out bigger buds but was way too close and the plants became way too stress and uncomfortable with it. They prefer temperature between 29 and 30 degrees Celsius as well as a humidity minimum of 30 to 50

The harvest of the first medusa F1 hybrid at day 93 after germination. The trichomes were starting to turn amber. I probably could have let her ripen for a bit longer. I am amazed how fat she has gotten, the weight of the flower is too heavy for the branches. Way to go RQS for breeding such a fast growing autoflower. She is already in the drying tent for 5 days now at a temperature of 19 °C with a humidity of around 55-60%. I want a nice and slow drying process to preserve the terpenes and cannabinoïds. This will take about 2 weeks in my opinion, when the branches start to give a clean snapping sound when bending. I will make a harvest blog once the flowers are dried and I have weighed the buds for the yield. This lady only received some LST and a little defoliation throughout the entire grow. I also dont flush the plant at the end since this myth was debunked by a scientific article. A flush is only needed if you overfed the plant. Dr bruce bugbee also confirmed this. The dry tent smells of hay/grass, which is logical because the plant still has a lot of chlorophyll inside. Untill the harvest blog! Check my other Medusa F1's for the progress of the experiment. Seeing as this is my first grow, I’m still learning to read the plant and know what’s going on. Think I’ve developed some fairly advanced leaf septoria. Might not be bad enough to affect the end result, but I’m pretty clueless, so I put up a question about it. Hoping to hear back from more experienced growers about what I’m looking at. Going on week 7 of flower, week 6 if we’re going off of the first pistils, when the breeder recommends 8-9. So I know I’m coming up to the end of things. Cutting back on nutes due to some burnt tips. Not any substantial amount, but put EC on the lower side of the range that GH recommends for its stage in life. Buds smell amazing and seem to be developing great IMO. Had to tie a few down to bring the canopy all to one level again. Didn’t think that sticking my arm down the leaves for 2 seconds worth of tie wrapping would make my arm hair all super sticky for hours. Lol. Every experience is a good learning experience for my first grow.

@FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. Last day of lights exposure. The buds will now go into a 48 hours of darkness. Last watering was done 2 days prior. The plants will use the last bit of energy to produce more resine . Trichomes are 10% amber .

Week 8 - second week of flower One plant is much smaller - still not confident on sex of any of them ... maybe that small one is a male - I’m guessing they’re all female tho. Either way i may need to slaughter that little guy - the other plants are just overtaking the tent - might not be worth keeping that little one in there. Update 6/5/19 - I’ll take some updated pics tomorrow - I’m 95% sure I have FOUR out of four female plants. Just picked up some yucca to try - and I got some more led hangers so maybe I’ll upgrade the lights today - the rapidLED far red flower initiator isn’t coming until Wednesday unfortunately but I have two more SolStix I could add. Update 6/5/19 - far red flower initiator and the two (now 4) solstix are installed - I need to make a simple aluminum frame - maybe this weekend Picked up some 29% H202 to clean the rez tank and pumps and filter etc (not to put in the nutes for the plants tho!) Got a better air pump and airstone for the rez. New Vivosun oscillating fan - wtf!? Made for grow tents but can’t turn without stopping on the sides of the tent!? - I emailed them maybe it’s defective.

This is a really odd plant. Lots of yellowing going on, looks like an N deficeny but ph in/out is 6.5. She's just weird and I have to assume it has something to do with genetics as I'm the only person here who's grown it so far and Seedsman shows it discontinued. It did come from my local seedbank where I got my Great White seeds from which was a disappointing grow. Anyways, I'll take what I can from her. I have 3 other plants going that I don't have diaries for as I've been too busy :( but they all are looking great! (Seedsman Auto Lemon, FB Wedding Cheesecake, SweetSeeds Sweet Gelato).
