Day 72, 21st of November 2020: Hi! Wao this is what I can say and luckily stoppe streching.... All LST has been removed as the plants remain the same so no need to keep them in "chains". Those Original Sensible girls 3 of them (Gelato, Runtz Gum, Do-Si-Dos OG)went crazy, except Black Ghost OG she did not strech much typical little indica lady. And the THC crystals alrady on the leaves on the Runtz Gum and Do-Si-Dos OG just simply beautiful. Buds are coming getting thick they are gorgeous only I can see some some sort of deficiency on Do-Si-Dos OG a bit on some leaves. The fertilization schedula isnthe same every 2nd day and happens with the mix and ratio above. Wedding Gelato is beautiful also I hope the nice purple colour will come out as well in late flowering stage. :) The lamp is on 11.30 min and off 12.30 min. Last week was 15 min longer light cycle.... So every week 15 min shorter light cycle until the 5th week. So far -30 min. It switches on at 6 am and off at 17.30 pm.

A slow start for this plant and it’s still pretty skinny but it looks like it will pull through.

Week 8: Day 50-53: Things are looking ok here, could be better. Still assuming my soil is too acidic certain nutrients to lock out. I now believe what I thought was a calmg deficiency on 4AM#1 was actually a phosphorous lockout in combination with the aforementioned calmg. Day 50 I watered with PH 6.5 and got runoff around 5.5 PH. 4AM#3 was visibly worse off, and no real improvements to the other 2 either(both had signs of calmg deficiency in combination with various other small deficiencies it seemed like). Day 54-56: Seeing no real improvements in any of the 3 plants I decided I would flush them on with 6.5 PH'd water only with regulator until runoff read atleast 6PH. After about 4-5L the runoff was 6+PH, seemed to me like there was a slight build up in the bottom so the first 3L cleared that up quite nicely(runoff was around 5.7). I then fed them 2-2.5L feeding of calmg and regulator with some Biocanna Boost PD'd to 6.5 immediately after flushing. Runoff was pretty much 6.3-6.5 on all plants at this point. I think I am happy with the results of the small flush, this IS my first time indoors(last summer first time was outdoor and I never really dealt with deficiences), so not sure if what I did was correct, I just went with my gut feeling here. Anyway on day 56 now and they haven't gotten any worse, and the leaves feel healthier to the touch. Also seem to be liking the addition of the 150W COB, also decided to lower the lights and see if they could take it(they could). End of Week 8: I don't think I will get more much bulk on 4AM#1 but daaamn is she frosty as hell. 4AM#2 on the other hand is bulking up real nice, those are going to be some fat buds! And 4AM#3 seems to be a slower finishing pheno and seems like she will bulk up loads more, going to be a beast I reckon if the deficiencies didn't stunt her from the last 2 weeks(leaves felt dry and showed yellowing and spots, but are doing better and feel better after the flush).

This week 2 of Veg went really well! Overall I just continued the same nutrient feeding regiment I used last week just without a few due to them being Organic amendments they'll break down into the Soil releasing slowly so I'll amend with them again before Flower. I used Fish Shit or Fish Emulsion at a rate of 1tsp per gal and gave them both a Liter of the solution. The ppm was 200 and EC of 400. Then, a day of just H2O. Next, I gave them the MaxiGrow at a rate of 1tsp per gal and gave them a L each. The ppm was 710 and EC of 1420. Next, I gave them just H20. Then, I gave them Real Growers Soil Recharge at a rate of 1tsp per gal. The ppm was 105 and EC of 210. Then, I gave them The Stash Blend at a rate of 1tsp per gal, PPM of 705 EC of 1410. Oh I need to mention my H20 is always at a PH of 7.0 and all my Nutrient Solutions are a PH of 6.2. due to my grow medium being Soil. That's all for this week but overall what easy growing, well spacing, evenly looking, and nicely branching plants!!

i was away from week 4 - 6, they have been only watered 3 times and sprayed couple of times, was also first time leaving them outside thru the night and strong winds. Some more aggressive LST and first serious defoliation, they needed a week to really start growing again, then they exploded,

D36-rain has been coming down every single day it seems. Plant is flowering along, going to spray neem oil by end of the week to deter pests. D37-neem oil sprayed on plants medium and fabric pot. D38-rain and humidity the past couple days. Weeks outlook though is a high of 97, sunny and night temp of no lower than 60. Summer season is officially here :) I have really been doing nothing to this plant except making sure it was watered and in the sunlight. Adding nutes per schedule helps tremendously also with one extra step taken out of the equation. D39-plant is growing and showing good bud sites. Nothing but abundant sunshine this week. Noticed a good amount of trichomes already forming on some leaves, as well as at the base of the side branches. D40-hand watered half gallon as it is brutally hot and sunny. Plant looks good. D41-noticed fungus gnat infestation. Applied neem like crazy to saturate medium. Heck..

This week started strong. Some small concerns due to small orange spots appearing on fan leaves which on researching indicates a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Will add a small amount of cal mag to their next feed

What a happy girl! Have added no nutes yet and letting the soil do the work for now (NFTG4+extra perlite). I have done a second dosing of malted barley that was hand ground and dusted before watering. Seems to enjoy the soil and light so far. Wish I could get temps up reliably but the electric heater had temp swings that were going to cause issues, so she's gonna live in the 68-72 day time and 64 nighttime for now Also! Wanted to include a short video of her dancing in the wind😊

Never heard of weedseedsexpress before coming to grow diaries. Saw the contest as a great opportunity to try new seeds, and I was very surprised with the outcome. 100% germination rate, super strong plants, easy to grow, when it comes to pests and plagues, also performed well... even tho one was chopped because of becoming hermie, didn’t had any other issues with it. They like space to grow! And taking 2kg from 5 plants, to me, it’s an absolute record! I’ll definitely wanna try now more of @weedseedsexpress and recommend you guys to try them too. Weed has been drying now for 4 days, so, pretty soon I’ll be able to add the final weight!

Week 5 defoliated a little but not much , there getting sticky and the smell is getting really strong now with a smell of oranges and pungent weed , you can see the trichomes forming all over the plants , they look similar at this point to super lemon haze and are stretching like it too.

7.5.25: I retied down the branches on RQS Northern Lights auto. I had to clean the tent, so the opportunity had to be taken, I hope not to have to move them again. I ended up snapping a small branch off another plant 😖 She is looking so big out of the tent, and even bigger than I thought! Now, having readjustmed, the fabric ties, and she is looking even larger still. This really is an absolute giant of a plant! 😱 I really am struggling to get them all in, I think the 8 gallon pots were a definite factor in that. They certainly are great for getting big plants, but be prepared if you have a small space. She's still stretching and not really focusing on her bud development in these mid flowering weeks. I think we will be in for a long haul with this lady. I hope she doesn't get too much bigger. I watered some bloom nutes after I top dressed, with Mega Crop Part A by Greenleaf Nutrients. I watered 3.2 litres PPM:745 PH:6.0. This time, I'm going to keep the top dressing moist. So as not to kill all the beneficial microbes. Other than that, I will wait until the pots are light again. Overall, she is doing great, I wish she had stretched a little more evenly to catch up in height. I just can't even out the canopy anymore. I'll leave it and hope she'll sort herself out 😅 I'm very excited to see what happens next! This is going to be crazy whatever happens! 😍😋 8.4.25: Northern lights had dried out significantly, so I watered with 2 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. Containing per litre: ♡ 1/4 tsp of Greenleaf nutrients Sea K(elp). PPM: 800 PH: 6.4 I don't want the top dress to dry out too much, and the plants are starting to drink much more. 9.5.25: It's a necessity to keep the soil moist. That means I need to water more often now. Today I watered with 1.5 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 which contained: ♡ 1/5 tsp of Sea K(elp). By Greenleaf nutrients ♡ 1/4 tsp Ecothrive Biosys. PPM: 564 PH: 6.4 12.5.25: Northern Lights has been srayed with the foliar spray and all symptoms have resolved. Due to having a few leaves burnt with that, I've decided to use the Ecothrive Trace in the water instead. It left some orange spots of damaged leaves. Sep 7: what a great plant. Totally love how it’s going. Flowers keep getting fatter and heavier and she’ll be done before the end of September. Sep 8: there a tree root sticking up a bit in my yard which means the plant can be tilted toward the late afternoon sun. This is helpful because the sun is getting really low to the horizon already and we’re down to 13 h of daylight. Plus now direct sun is done in my yard by about 6 pm. Indirect light is okay but you really want direct sun at all times. Videos shows use of 730 nm far red light at dusk. Just a few seconds is all it takes to set the plant into dark mode two hours faster. It’s a bloom booster because you get two bonus hours of darkness or a 26 h day. Very effective but don’t miss a night and you have to adjust the timing each night. When starting this on July 20 Civil Twilight, as listed on timeanddate.com for my location, was at 9:45 and today it was at 8:40 pm. The red light at dusk is a highly recommended trick if you have daily access to your outdoor plants. Also works indoors, of course, and on autos too. Also I think it helps ‘stabilize’ the plant by emphatically putting it into dark mode, and therefore less susceptible to stray light to cause a hermie. Have not had hermie problems in four seasons of using the red light so that is my only ‘proof’ but it is true so far, even with taking flash pics before using the red light. Sep 9: getting heavier and now more branches are weighed down and slumping against the scrog net. Nice problem to have, I know, and without the scrog net some of the branches would be breaking off now. She’s now officially too big and too top heavy to keep moving around the yard in pursuit of direct sun. Sun is much lower to horizon now and direct sun hours are dropping too. Sep 10: getting close to done and getting very top heavy. Awesome. Sep 12: raining today. Has been cool last few nights and some purple colour is just starting to show. I don’t want to overdo fertilizer near the end, but I decided she is showing K deficiency. I’m out of malted barley but I still have potassium silicate, so I used that and some cal-mag. I’m avoiding kelp and molasses or using more P at this late stage because that can make the dried bud hard to burn and that really sucks. So, potassium silicate and cal-mag it is. The potassium silicate raises the pH and it takes about the same volume of vinegar to get the pH down. A good does of acetate is likely good for the bugs in the soil too. Then a squirt of Dr Bronners soap as a surfactant and that also supplies some biodegradable carbon for the bugs in the soil. Seems to work overall and is cheap.
