Alright grow cycle, mistakes, improvements, etc... She did stay in veg for too long, her growth was slow and not the best and so she took quite long, next time i'll be there from the beginning so I can take care of her throughout. But her growth is really fun. It is a tall growing sativa with fairly tight noding when trained accordingly, producing long filled colas. The buds grow fairly dense and fluffly but do air out a little when dried. Trichome production was pretty impressive as well as terpene production. She had thrips since her early days but did not seem to mind them at all. I did spray them initially but once flower started I stopped. I believe predatory mites might have been feeding on the pupae in the soil, if that is what this specific species of thrips did, the reason I say that is I could never see adults only larvae. Whatever the case maybe they were there but the population never really increased. Something I did not mention during the grow is that those plants were played music during the days, music that is apparently developed for plants. The 10L pot was WAY too small for a true sustainable living organic and to provide enough space for the plant, that was a mistake, I'd say a 20L would be the bare minimum and still. The bigger the better. The hempy transfer did not hurt the plant and I believe even helped to some extent, BUT, I am still running test on the subject and so can't confirm anything, here are my observations Roots did not colonize the perlite, a little on top and the sides but that was it, I was expecting to see a big root mass in there. I believe hempy are great for salt fert as it hold a soup of nutes where the plant can feed from since the coco only holds very little Whereas in nature most nutrient are in the top soil where the highest amount of decomposition happens, this is where the highest microbial activity happens and so where the plant will find food. Living organic is trying to reproduce nature and so there is no need for the plant's roots to gather at the bottom of the pot. Although it could have potentially provided the plant access to a larger amount of water and possibly more oxygenation of the pot. Those are all theories, please speak up if you have other proofs. In conclusion , unless i get proven otherwise by someone or my latest running experiment , I will not be using hempies again as I believe it brings more complication and issues than a simple fabric pot. The lights, The 600w at the start was good, then I decided to add a 400w...😂 That was completely overkill and not necessary. Waste of electricity. And they started suffering from too much light it seems at some point, I raised the light by a good 30 cm and they were fine. 600 is more than enough. I am happy about how the soil performed but it has room for improvements. As for the watering technique I have been watering large ammount every few days, next time I will be giving constant small amount of water each day and a soak every week or so, I believe the soil might perform better under those conditions. She was also an easy plant to harvest whit her long colas which had very little foliage, I do trim in excess as I like my buds extra clean but the buds are not excessively bushy. The trims were use to make some bubble hash, around 100g of wet trims yielded around 1.5-2g of bubble hash. I did add a negative effect but only because it wouldn't give me a smile otherwise, but to be honnest it barely dries your mouth. The soil is going to be recycled and reused in a next grow. I can't think of anything else at the moment but if you have any question don't hesitate.

The girls were harvested at 94 days. I didn't weigh it, but I believe they yielded around 60 to 70g for both. I am very satisfied and happy to have achieved a very good result, being my first time growing. A cycle closes and a new will come soon with new soil assembly, new genetics and more experience. Week 5: Transplant Time & Root Power! Oh man, this was one of those weeks! We transplanted all five phenos into bigger pots, and let me tell you, they’re thriving! (Check out the complete video episode for all the details 😉). The girls are looking amazing, all pretty much the same size for now, so I don’t have any favorites yet—but let’s see what the future holds! For photos, I used both my Nikon P900 and Sony A6000, with a bunch of lenses and filters to preserve the true colors—these LEDs are powerful! Current Setup & Conditions This week, they’re still chilling with their sisters in the big tent, but in about a week, they’ll be moving into the TrolMaster ecosystem for even better environmental control. Watering: pH 6.06, EC 0.96 Temperature: A bit cold , but it is what it is. Sprayed her 2x with magnesium + aloe vera in the last week & watered only with rainwater.. This one grows really nice. the structure and the growth is just phenomenal. Put some old salad & leafs from defoliation on top of the soil for the worms.

Giving her banana peel tea everyday 100mls with a 200ml of water. Hairs are turning orange and now just waiting for them to fatten up.

Hello! Thank you again for stopping in! Last week was a great and exciting week. I learned a lot to say the least. Biggest lesson LESS WATER!! Haha the plants seem to be growing slower than I expected, but that could just be me rushing things along. 😅 I also added a metal grid to half of the ceiling of tent this week. The panels were only $6 each at Menards and makes hanging and organizing all the needed equipment much easier and not to mention it brings a cleanliness to the work/grow area. I highly suggest them. Day 1 Feb 1st- no water Day 2 Feb 2nd- Watered as needed. Approximately 15ML/plant distilled water. Day 3 Feb 3rd- Watered each plant with 15ml Coconut water mixed at 50ml/gallon. 1 Tahoe OG is growing nicely while other one continues to yellow. Im lost for what to do to correct issue as both are in same environment? Day 4 Feb 4th- watered 20 ml per plant. Moved two more super skunk seedlings to tent. Ordered a humidity controller so I can keep a more consistent humidity. Day 5 Feb 5th- watered all plants with distilled water at a PH of 6.3. Flushed Tahoe OG #2... notnsure why it was yellowing when all other conditions are.same.and Tahoe OG #1 is flourishing.  Tahoe #1 60 ml Tahoe #2 flushed 150 ml SS #1  75 ml SS #2 60 ml SS #3 90 ml SS #4 75 ml SS #5 75 ml SS #6 50 ml SS #7 50 ml SS #8 20 ml Day 6 Feb 6th- no water today. SS #8 died. It honestly never really lived. It sprouted but no leaves ever opened. Added metal grating and humidity controller. The humidity controller is amazing.. well worth the $. It keeps my tent between 67-73 relative humidity. Will be able to dehumidify when the time comes as well. I like a clean tent as well as save. All electrical cords minus 1 are at the top of tent and the 1 is well above the water line. I know this isn't a huge deal as I self water, but better safe than sorry. Day 7 Feb 7th- all plants got 30 ml of coconut water and a healthy foliar spray of distilled water. I've seen some good growth this week and hope to see it continue through next week. I did have one SS seedling not make it this week and one Tahoe OG hasn't shown any growth and is completely yellow/golden brown. I still have it going but not sure what to do or if there is any hope. Day 36- LST adjustments. Each lady received almost a full gallon of water each. I also dosed each gallon with 4ml cal mag plus. I guess I would consider this week 1 of flowering. Next watering I'll introduce bloom nutrients. They getting hairy! I feel like I'm also seeing some improvement in each plant after Foliar Spray, so I'm hoping after this watering they'll perk up and not have more sick leaves to look at. Day 37- I did a few LST adjustments on the smaller plants. "Blue Marker" is getting pretty stiff so I'm afraid to tie her down and have only been tucking leaves. Probably just going to try to keep her spread out as much as I can do. No more LST for her. Day 38- They've been drinking alot of water and are thirsty! Now normally I water once a week, but they may need it before their next water time. Lowered the lights to 18" above canopy. Will see if I get any canoes or not when I get back home tomorrow evening. It smells good when I open the tent as well 👌. Only uphill from here on! Day 39- Ladies didn't show any light stress to me lowering them down to 18". Blue Marker looks like she needs to be watered. The other two are still heavy. Probably be watering blue marker tomorrow evening and starting bloom nutrients. Day 40- Watered Blue Marker today with 4ml/gal CalMag+ and 2tsp/gallon of Old Age Bloom. Will be watering Yellow Marker tomorrow with the same ratio. The runt still probably has a few more days until she's ready for a drink. Day 41- Watered Yellow Marker with 4ml/gal CalMag+ and 2tsp/gal of Old Age Bloom. Will be watering the runt tomorrow. Went ahead and snapped a lower bud site on the runt. Didn't look promising enough to warrant keeping it. As you can see in the picture, most of the leaves were shriveled up on it anyways. I also tucked fan leaves on all plants and measured Blue Marker (17.5in) tall and Yellow Marker is about 1ft tall. Day 42- Watered "Runt" with 4ml/gal CalMag+ and 2 tsp/gal of Old Age Bloom. All plants new growth looks better and doesn't look like it's traveling up plant. More and more bud sites are popping up. Yellow Marker looks farther along than Blue Marker. End of week 6!
