Was another good week this week. Seem to have figured out the brown spotting, started adding sensi-calmag to the mix and the spotting has stopped and leaf color is darkening back up. Not sure if was from calmag deficiency or low nitrogen, but either way they look better so it seems like it was the right call. Did a light defoliation early in the week, maybe a dozen leaves per plant. Just the usual stuff under canopy or bunching too much. Has been much easier to keep humidity down since the heavy defoliation a week ago. Buds are really starting to look good on three of the four plants with the front left being furthest along. She is starting to pack frost already! Back left still looks a week behind, but coming in strong. Could this be a come from behind winner? Last day of the week took apart the Autopot system for a good clean. Clean the res, flush the lines with line cleaner, pull and clean the valves with dish soap, cleaned out the trays, wipe down the underside of the pots and back together it all goes. Been running for 40 days and this is the first clean, should be the only one as there's only maybe 40 days left. I find the B52 builds up a bit of sludge after a month or so, but worth using have seen noticable better grows since adding it to the feedings. Either way, an hour of work once a grow is nothing to complain about VS all the time out in hand watering. Also a big improvement on the newer 5.0 valves vs the previous generation. They are about double the diameter, so they gunk up MUCH less and fill a lot faster. Using the old valves I was cleaning every 1-2 weeks depending on feeding frequency. This bugger neatly drank 3L of the solution I had prepared for three weeks!! there some serious growth happening. Defoliation was a good idea at this point to reduce the amount of wasted nutrients and increase the flowering priority. Had to share the last "video" to show my appreciation in learning about LST here on growdiaries, those are pepper plants.

Week 9.5 been really busy ,I added the light bar under the canopy to help with light penetration as well as a few rounds of defoliation ...they have been very thirsty recently so I've upped the amount of food .

Alright so we transplanted the girls to 15 liter air pots and removed the top, they might look fucked up but no worries, no stress, its just because we topped the plant when she was quite small, i left also some space free in the pot to add some more soil later and cover the stem and the first pair of leaves

switched out my 600w mh for my 6oow hps on day 32 also had to place a stake in her because she grew to fast for her own good i really have just been here to feed her the genetics are great

On cruise control, getting into flush weeks in the bubble buckets. always water in the 30 gallon living soil? worm bin. I dig a small hole in a corner toss in kitchen scraps cover and water.

Note: At time of writing the Runtz has had 2 weeks cure, will update the review and rate it after 2+ months cure. Hermied a bit, has very few seeds so not too bad. Growth review: - vigorous grower during veg - solid stretch - medium internode distance - small sized buds - lower buds not too airy - very easy/not fussy - medium amount of smell - 80+ days flower (12/12) in hydro DWC under full spectrum led - responded well to various lst techniques Ease of growth rating: 9/10 General note: --> For me personally this strain NEEDS a good cure and is not worth smoking yet... It has a bit of a citrus grassy (not hay) taste, with some 'special' fruity smells to it that remind a bit of grapes/cassis. When grinding/opening the curing pots there is a pretty dank heavy weed smell so I think the quality will come out after a few months of cure... In its current state not worth smoking for the taste or effect after 14 days cure. --> Currently the effect is not very strong, easy to handle and I need a lot to feel a bit. The effect lasts for short compared to the average strains I smoke. Should develop more character with a longer cure. Hash making notes: - water extraction of the trim yielded 16g of hash (45mc-220mc) - rosin has a bit too much of a weird spicy grassy taste which make it a bit unpleasant, waiting till the buds improve with cure to try again - rosin color at 80c is yellow/white/beige creamy waxy, with hard consistency - rosin color at 95c is golden with hard consistency

Week 9 commence flushing. This lady is looking great, super frosty, sticky and got a sweet aroma. Removed some dying leaves and now we wait for chop in about 6-7 days.

Still going strong, no problems at all.. This is a time of struggle I want do to something but the only thing to do is being patient. Trichomes are still clear, smell is starting to become stronger, and they are already sticky as fuck :) UPDATE: Day 60 [f39] some leaves are starting to yellow.. but it should be OK by now. I will start with Nitrogen deprivation in a couple of days.

This week the plant continued to stretch reaching 55 cm. The tent is really feeling small both in height and width, the lamp is almost as high as it can get. I might have had done better with more pruning earlier, now I don't I don't want to stress too much this far into flowering. This week just removed some leaves and some branches without significant flowering from the bottom. Right after switching to a HID light for flowering, the leaves started drooping badly. The plant has mostly recovered from that. Flowers are getting bigger, slowly growing trichomes on the leaves too.

Plants are getting big enough to train through the fence. Im thinking a vertical scrog, but its gonna be a bitch to harvest . We will see, still dunno if they are even female

Hey folks, Into week 13, plants starting to see, I see single pistils on some of the plants. Looks like she will be going into flowering in the next few weeks. Again, this plant is one of the most bushy plant I have ever worked on! The internodal spacing and grow is simply explosive; and to note, it's been hotter than hell the past 2 weeks. Seeing avg temps in the mid 30s. Plants took it well. Just had to stay ontop of watering. So because of the bush factor I decided to defoiliate again this week. It's been almost averaging 2-3weeks for every defoiliation. As usual, watering with molasses water pH between 6.0-6.9. See you on the next update!
